A Neither/Nor Situation
neither rain can wash our sins
nor sunshine can launder
our souls
we are in this neither/nor situation
choked by our own hands
they say
those who wear white during those ceremonies
and those who are fond
of reenacting the old rituals
that we need an outside force
to remedy this
kind of delimma
i am in no position to say
any word
i am an observer
and i keep on waiting
meanwhile, i hear the rain

Mr Sunshine
Mr Sunshine peeked
through my window today,
took one look at me
and then ran away.
It always does that
and I don’t know why.
Maybe I have a face
that just makes it want to cry.

Youve come to me again my friend. Ive been waiting so long.
Life seems strange and hard sometimes, maybe I wont make it this time.

Let’s go for a walk

Let me walk down that cold blurry road;
