A Life Of Self-Restraint

RESTRAINT becomes a wall
between us, and i have kept
myself behind this thick wall,

always loving you, but always
denying it,

i cease to be a dropp of water,
neither moss,

every layer of my days
covers this softness making

another rock, and i am fortified
into another roadblock

to my dreams, it is here that
indifference hardens

into a fortress of dignity,
which the ocean even has not fathomed

this is it, this is it,
denial, restraint, punishment, redemption

you drive me into a destiny
you look straight as i look at you

passionately.

It Is Love Still, There Is No Other...

i accompany you to a wall
i know this wall fully well
it walled me since i was small,

and then i fall in love with you
and you feel the same wall despite the openness of the port of
the city where our love boat is docked
despite the songs of seagulls
despite the softness of my hands cupping your breasts

you ask me to explain about this wall
and so i am taking you there
for you to see

the wall has become thicker and higher
walling me since ages then
and it stares at me

asking, if i have learned about love at all?
if i have really love you? if i really love myself
despite the blindness that the wall is giving me
all my life

the wall is teasing me in front of you
i am ashamed

but i do not give up and hand all my life
without a fight to this wall

and i look at you
and i tell the wall your name

'here is my savior
have pity, she does not know a wall
she has not lived there once
she does not know your name
she cannot feel your
loneliness
she will die
she does not know a fight
against the wall'

and then there is silence
like an ocean's trench

the wall opens a door
some tears are left on the stairs

'it is love still, there is no other' the wind
sings to the highest cliff
on that mountain of
death.

I Cant Seem To Get Over You

Time is moving fast to the point of no return
Im reaching for tomorrow leaving bridges that Ive burned
Here I stand alone with my back against the wall
Tortured by your memory and the feelings I recall
I cant seem to get over you
No matter where I go
No matter what I do
The wall of denial
Has broken in two
And I cant seem to get over you
Everywhere I turn I see shadows on the wall
A silhouette of sorrow of a man who had it all
Your kiss forever haunts me like a ghost out of the past
Its peaceful for a moment but it never seems to last
I cant seem to get over you
No matter where I go
Np matter what I do
The wall of denial
Has broken in two
And I cant seem to get over you
Im getting tired of living with these questions in my mind
Is it hopeful to imagine or just a waste of time
For now I go on dreaming, thats whats keeping me alive
But dreams wont last forever, tell me how will I survive
I cant seem to get over you
No matter where I go
No matter what I do
The wall of denial
Has broken in two
And I cant seem to get over you

The place where we don't agree is on whether there should be some restraint on insurance companies and whether they should be allowed to run wild. We believe there should be some restraint; some on the other side don't think so.

Onward We Rock!

Hungry and hunting
Passion and fire
Were burning
Hot on the heels of death
Strength and suspicion
Armored with steel
Ready for action
Tonite were out for the kill!
Onward we rock!
Straight to the top
Onward we rock!
Straight to the top
Torture and trial
Under the gun
Wheels burnin
Burnin to be no.1
Dangerous warning
Backs to the wall
Smell the sweat
The pain, the thrill of it all!
Onward we rock!
Straight to the top
Onward we rock!
Straight to the top
Onward we rock!

Lost To You

Roses climb the wall outside your room
Sweet scent floats through the window
Reminding you of me and what you’ve lost

The satin covered sheets upon which you lay
Softness beyond compare
Reminding you of me and what you’ve lost

The wild waves crash against your shore
Untamed, implacable, relentlessly pounding
Reminding you of me and what you’ve lost

A free spirit flows forever young
Untethered
Without restraint
Unencumbered
Free to be
yet
Lost to you

The First Time

At a time when we were young,
gentle and innocent
and our love wanted more
that just a lingering passionate kiss,
it was searching for greater loveliness,
for ultimate bliss

and spontaneously
you surrendered yourself to me,
in utter innocence,
and we loved passionately for the first time
and your loving was without restraint

and maybe all of life,
maybe the greatest things to it
is caught in memories such as these
and I see your radiance,
your inner beauty
that is still reaching out to me.

The Wall That I See

always this wall
this wall, always, this,
wall, always
i see, and face, and
grasp, and feel
with my palms, and touch
with my fingers

never love it
but i am in here surrounded
always, by this, wall,
this, wall, this wall,
always, i dream of
overcoming this, wall
this height,

i dream of ladders,
and tall feet, and i always,
look beyond this,
this wall, this.

Fire and Water

Fire and water.
Fire and water, closer than we think.
We always think of fire
The destroyer, the demolisher.
We always think water
The life-bringer, the rebuilder
But, what about flash floods?
Rushing, raging taking all.
What about forest fires?
Spreading nutrients,
And maintaining habitats?
Also, without fire there is no passion
No love, no drive
But, without water no serenity,
no restraint, or peace
we need to keep balance in our lives
fire and water duality
kindness in our hearts
passion in our work
Fire and water.

Pictured Life

Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine, ulrich roth
Ooh! dark meditation,
Your second sight can show my light
In a crystal ball.
Sweet are the days, intoxication
Crow-black the nights caging my mind
Behind the wall.
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Into the rock to find the cream
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Pictured life from yesterday.
Ooh! dark meditation,
Deep down inside a stream of light
Begins to flow.
Sweet are the days, intoxication
Crow-black the nights caging my mind
Behind the wall.
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Into the rock to find the cream
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Pictured life from yesterday.
Pictured life, pictured life
Pictured life from yesterday ...

Denial

Denial
Denial
Denial

Isn't that it - denial?

But know that I love you
And know that it's true
And pure and soulful,
Just beautiful!

But

It's spilling over,
Spilling over,
Spilling over,

Spilling over into desire;
Desire to touch you,
Desire to hold you,
And that just wouldn't do!

Hence I fear

I fear for the purity,
I fear for the soulfulness;
So do I choose to
Live the lonesomeness

Of

Denying
Denying
Denying

Your eyes?

His Writings On The Wall

when he was writing about
walls
he wrote the words on the walls
and they were arranged
like walls
from wall to wall his description
about the wall was
consistently like a wall
walling in all the walls
around the wall
where he was writing
consistently and
uniformly the word

wall, wall, wall, wall
and then nothing but a train of walls like this

wallwallwallwallwallwallwallwallwallw allwallwallwallwallwallwallwallwallwallwall
of course, he did notn add any smoke from steam engine
neither did he add any children and women and even men riding on the
train of walls
there was no driver even
or wheels

what he stressed was just a wall, a wall train, a wall nothing but a wall
walling him in
but what he really wanted at the end was something that should wall him out

something however that until now he is still trying to figure out

Empire State Human

Since I was very young I realised
I never wanted to be human size
So I avoid the crowds and traffic jams
They just remind me of how small I am
Because of this longing in my heart
Im going to start the growing up
Im going to grow now and never stop
Think like a mountain, grow to the top
Tall, tall, tall, I want to be tall, tall, tall
As big as a wall, wall, wall, as big as a wall, wall, wall
And if Im not tall, tall, tall, then I will grow, grow, grow
Because Im not tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall
Tall, tall, tall, I want to be tall, tall, tall
As big as a wall, wall, wall, as big as a wall, wall, wall
And if Im not tall, tall, tall, then I will grow, grow, grow
Because Im not tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall, tall
With concentration
My size increased
And now Im fourteen stories high
At least!!
Empire state human
Just a bored kid
Ill go to egypt to be
A pyramid
Brick by brick
Stone by stone
Growing till hes fully grown
Brick by brick
Stone by stone
Growing till hes fully grown

Hole In The Wall

(alan jackson/jim mcbride)
Theres a hole in the wall
Where a nail used to be
A nail that held a picture of
The one that once held me
Now that walls tellin me
What I dont wanna hear
Im tired of the word fool
Ringin in my ears
Oh I guess a saner man
Would simply paint it
But Im not sane and after all
Its my wall, aint it
Ive got this hammer in my hand
And when Im through
Therell be a hole in that wall
Big enough to drive a truck through
When you lose the greatest love
Youve ever had
A little hole in the wall
Is enough to drive you mad
Oh I guess a saner man
Would simply paint it
But Im not sane and after all
Its my wall, aint it
Ive got this hammer in my hand
And when Im through
Therell be a hole in that wall
Big enough to drive a truck through
Oh Ive got this hammer in my hand
And when Im through
Therell be a hole in that wall
Big enough to drive a truck through

For B...

so you have felt finally
that you are alone: your brother after he married
built a wall around his wife and
daughter

you can hear their exclusive laughter in the other room
and when the light there is finally turned-off
you can hear even the whispers of love
that you have not met
before

the hands of love
drive you away

you turn off too
the only light in your room
and the war within you begins

there is that regret that mocks you
there is the passing time that appears like those leaves
blown away by the last month's typhoon

you feel like a tree robbed of all those leaves
with some twigs bent
to the utmost you feel that pain
of being
uprooted

moments reversing themselves
like the back pages of the
book
with a vast topics
arranged alphabetically
which of course
you have no desire to
carefully read

you feel this horror of all horrors
loved ones
abandoning you
with their bags full of
clothes

those thicker walls that suck their conversations
like water siphoned by
a thick cloth
oh, how you detest each layer
of indifference

the whole night you never sleep
but for now
you are a little bit triumphant in this exhaustion
these eye bags
must posses a noble purpose
perhaps to educate you more
for the coming days
of more empty rooms
of chairs that accumulate dust
of carpets that accommodate more ticks
of those breakfasts
left untouched
on the table with unchanged covers

no more tears in this war
between you and your hidden self
as you wait
for the promise that soon
there will be a harmony
between loneliness and
survival
between the fingers of time
and the slippage
that you do not care to account
anymore

well, you assure yourself
'outside i still have my own secret garden
it is mine and mine alone
my brother's children cannot enter
now, his wife in truth
is not my sister
and what i must remember
truly
must only be my name
yes, i am',

you write it.

Mirror, Mirror

Been looking for love
I never could find it
While Im standing here
And he is so blinded by her silly ways
He just cant imagine
Shes playing a game
A game that he played for so long, oh
I want him to know
Just how much I love him
I wanted to show
But he just believes
Im a friend he can trust
But I wanna touch him
I love him enough
To heal all the hurt in his heart
Oh yes I do but how do I start
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Can you tell me who to call?
When the one I love
Is loving someone who cant see
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Tell me if hell ever fall so in love with me
Or could it be its just make believe
Boy I had a dream
Or maybe a vision
That I was your queen
Cause I fit the slipper
You took me away
To happily ever
We laughed and we made
Sweet love till the sun came again
Oh yeah we did, hmm
But that was the end, oh
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Can you tell me who to call?
When the one I love
Is loving someone who cant see
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Tell me if hell ever fall so in love with me
Or could it be its just make believe
Oh, if youre looking for love
Its right in your face
Ive been waiting for you
So dont run away
Fairy tales can come true
If you believe
(they can come true if you believe)
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Can you tell me who to call?
When the one I love
Is loving someone who cant see
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Tell me if hell ever fall so in love with me
Or could it be its just make believe
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
I wanna know, I wanna know
Is he gonna know?
That Im loving him
And Im needing him
Or will he love someone who cant see
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
Mirror, mirror
On the wall

The Supreme Transformation

A dropp of water cannot include the ocean
but the ocean includes a dropp of water.

But if this dropp of water
drops into the ocean,
and loses itself, loses its identity,
then that dropp has become the ocean.

I cannot include God,
but God surely includes me.
But if.........

Shadows On The Wall

When the fantasy we live in
Lies in pieces on the ground
And there is no false illusion
That can turn your heart around
Nothing can change the way I feel
Nothing can take your love from me
If only I didnt worry
If only I could see
If only I could see
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they dance on the floor
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Now Im on my own
Chasing shadows on the wall
Shadows on the wall
On the sea of mediocrity
Drifting from a distant shore
No goodbyes no celebration
No-one there to close the door
Only the silence that I feel
Only the lonely road is real
If only I didnt loose you
If only we could be
If only we could be
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they dance on the floor
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Now Im on my own
Chasing shadows on the wall
Shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they start to fall
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows on the wall

Hole in the Wall

beauty resemble, the newness of what all things
seen by the naked eyes, the inner aura lure to
seek what the tranquility of the soul in viewed,
letting it go beyond human imagination, as
nature rebirth the ultimate aesthetic passion
of God of his creation

every wall has its hole, pepping the inside, is
building outside, breaking the fears is but
holding the strength in the wall, creating force
that stands for a fall, waiting to roll, as the day
role the light and the night waited the sun to
goes down, in the sky it standby and say
goodbye

look up the sea the current that passed by, the
rock murmurs, beneath the heavy blue water,
where the fish like to stay, as the seagull watch
the mass of fish float to surface like a dunes, the
turbulent smiling wind dazing to land in the
wave it dance

all what you believe is not a dream, a true
master piece of reality where only few eyes can
feel, that in every wall a hole always keeps each
pep, making you to know you're not perfect as
the master make it so

be on guard, though you know that limit brings
you, beyond today and learn to reflect that your
hole stop your wall to go, where God want you
to be, in Life there is always a destiny to live till
eternity

And The Gates Will Be Closed Soon

to R.Aj. Kartini (21 April 1879 - 17 September 1909)

The moss green wall, my friend
is not the frozen wall confining
Among the shade of Keben trees
There was no pain eventhough
There is a little sadness
Reading will not be conquered
Heart of the wet pen
I want to swim to the land of your birth
If the days will be filled with gloom
Then writing a letter or poem
is a must and will that in
The floor was cold
And the gates will be closed
soon
