A Chat Of Hope
brb.
i am attending a party
of a friend who brings
his prince charming
from Puerto Rico
whose name is Ludivico
and who promises her
marriage
after she gets widowed
she brings that news
to all her
Filipino friends
who say they are happy too

Born In Puerto Rico (demo) (feat. Jos Feliciano)
SALVADOR
I was born in Puerto Rico
We came here when I was a child
Before I reached the age of sixteen
I was running with the gang and we were wild
He keeps looking but he don't recognize me.
Some guy from Lexington or Park
Red beans and rice from kitchen windows
Supper-time and the barrio is dark.
No one knows you like I do
Nobody can know your heart the way I do
No one can testify to all that you've been through
But I will.
SAL & THE VAMPIRES
I was born in Puerto Rico
And my blood is Taino
Spanish Caribbean my soul
SALVADOR
We came here wearing summer clothes in winter
Hearts of sunshine in the cold
Your family rented this apartment
You'd watch the street lamps from your perch
In the sacramental hour your stepfather in
black
Preached the fire of the Pentecostal Church
No one knows you like I do
Nobody can know your heart the way I do
No one can testify to all that you've been
through
But this will.
SAL & THE VAMPIRES
I was born in Puerto Rico
Came here when I was a child.

streets for good.
My days as short as they were wild.

Moving In With Rico
There were tears in her eyes when she gave me the news last night
I tried to disguise all the hurt that I felt inside
She said shed always like to be my friend
Ooh, what could I say - this was the end
Shes moving in with rico, everybodys hero
Shes moving in with rico and she dont need me no more
We stood by the door and she put her hand in mine
Could have fell through the floor when we said our last goodbye
I just stood and watched her walk away
The love of my life is leaving today
Shes moving in with rico, everybodys hero
Shes moving in with rico and she dont love me no more
Suddenly, she was gone
How sad it feels to be alone
Now theres a stranger in my shoes
Some you win, and some you lose
Na na-na na na-na na na-na na na na
Na na-na na na-na na na-na na na na
She said shed always like to be my friend
Ooh, what could I say - is this the end
Shes moving in with rico, everybodys hero
Shes moving in with rico and she dont need me no more
Shes moving in with rico, everybodys hero
Shes moving in with rico, shes moving in with rico

A Cinderella Story' vs Reality
There is a girl and a boy,
Connected only in cyber,
Never met,
Never phoned,
How long can it last?
It is like in the movie ‘A Cinderella Story’,
Her friend said.
The girl loves him so much,
She cannot took her mind off him,
She waits in front of computer every night,
Waiting for her Prince Charming to greet.
They have known each other a year,
They lived very far apart,
It is like one is up there,
One is down the globe,
Can it last?
She wondered.
One day,
Her Prince Charming said those magical words to her,
She was barely able to breathe,
She was the happiest person on Earth,
But Prince Charming loves her as…?
On one beautiful night,
As usual,
She spent almost hours and hours in front of the computer,
Wait till Prince Charming to come,
But he did not,
She was a bit upset,
She wrote to Prince Charming,
‘You love me as what? ’
Prince Charming replied her the next day,
‘I love you as my girlfriend’,
‘Will you be mine? ’
For God’s sake,
She was absolutely wanted to be his,
‘I sure will’,
It was the best day of her life.
So, there it was,
For her,
She hopes her story does not end just like that,
She will wait for her Prince Charming,
To come to her,
In reality,
Not just in cyber,
Even if it take 100 years.
She wanted them to see,
She wanted him to take her hands,
She wanted to dance in the rain with him,
She wanted to feel his warm,
She wanted him for sure,
She will wait, she swore.
A Cinderella Story?
It is different with her story, she thought,
It is just the same,
When it comes to how they stay connected.

Happy Birthday To Shabnam Pawaney
You get up before we do and sleep after us.
You do what a True friend, Guide and Mentor does.
You help us all the day and even in our dreams.
Your contribution in our life is more than it seems.
A Charming Gardener which make our souls blossom
You remain the ever Elegant Queen of our kingdom.
Today brings about a special and wonderful day
With lots of hugs, we wish you a Happy Birthday.

Typical Summer Day
Today was just great
Swimming with friends
This lake is the perfect place
To learn how to swim
The very first time
Talking and talking
Floating about on the lake
Waves drifting us on in
While we talk away
A friend from a far
That is coming this summer
Not being able to wait
We take a little walk
And there it is
A car with that plate
On knocking the door we go
Frapping on the door
Come to find out
It is just the father
Of the handsome prince
I've known for years
Our hopes all up high
Trashed to hear
That he will not be here
Until the end of next month
So home we go
More swimming we do
Talking about the prince
That will be here next month
Knowing what I have said to them
Dreaming over him
They are dying to meet this handsome prince
Today was just great, but as for tonight
Two dogs in the camp
With just the slightest noise
Sets the barking with a ring in the place
It's driving me crazy, but thank you now
The two fo them are settling down
I guess it's been great today
For tomorrow I must work
Only half a day and pick up a dog
For a friend of mine
So for now I guess it's been fun
On a summer day
Swimming with friends
And dreaming over the handsome prince

Simple Friends & Real Friends
A simple friend has never seen you cry before a real friends shoulder is soggy from your tears A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party a real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean A simple friend hates it when you call after they have gone to bed a real friend asks why you took so long to call them A simple friend wonders about your romantic history a real friend could blackmail you with it! A simple friend thinks your friendship is over when you have a argument a real friend calls after you have had a fight.
never frown even when your sad because you dont know who is falling in love with your smile

Happily Never After
In the beginning it feels like a fairytale
You believe there will be a happily ever after
Your Prince Charming you have finally found
And you are the beautiful Cinderella
Your hopes arise as high as the skies
Your dreams dominate your thoughts
'Mrs Prince Charming' scribbled over your mind
And nobody can tell you that 'He's wrong'
But soon you come to realise
That Prince Chraming is just what he is
He's nothing but a fictional character
Who only appears in dreams
He will never be a reality
He will never sweep you off your feet
You will meet many people who you believe are him
But somewhere you will see,
That Prince Charming is only for storybooks
He's sweet poision for little girls
I refuse to search all my life
For a man who dosen't exist in this world

The Real Meaning Of Christmas
Christmas brings lights that lighten every alley.
Christmas fills the void of each heart's saddened valley.
Christmas brings Santa with surprising gifts of toys.
Christmas brings laughter to mainly girls and boys.
Christmas brings carols sung by mellifluous voices.
Christmas brings fantasies that suit many choices.
Christmas adds glamour to the choicest street's splendour.
Christmas emits fun with its rare yuletide colour.
Christmas makes sad faces to beam with unfeigned smiles.
Christmas brings seasonal joy travelling several miles.
Christmas brings hope to the annually despondent.
Christmas brings Christ, ever in our hearts resident.

The marriage day
Marriage in human life
Brings a man a wife
And a woman a husband
Who make their lives grand
It adds honour to one’s personality
And brings clarity to our duty
It brings joy to the bride, groom
And to every body in the betrothal room
It is not to unite two bodies
But to ignite two souls
It may give the couple a son
Who shines as bright as the sun
It may give them a daughter
Who is as useful as water
And makes their lives better
Why don’t we celebrate it on twitter?
We may celebrate it in peculiar ways
In different countries
The rituals may be variant
But the bond should be permanent
Marriage makes the two people one
And makes their life a fun
It makes the civilization run
Why don’t we publicize it as much as we can?

The Months
January brings the snow,
makes our feet and fingers glow.
February brings the rain,
Thaws the frozen lake again.
March brings breezes loud and shrill,
stirs the dancing daffodil.
April brings the primrose sweet,
Scatters daises at our feet.
May brings flocks of pretty lambs,
Skipping by their fleecy damns.
June brings tulips, lilies, roses,
Fills the children's hand with posies.
Hot july brings cooling showers,
Apricots and gillyflowers.
August brings the sheaves of corn,
Then the harvest home is borne.
Warm september brings the fruit,
Sportsmen then begin to shoot.
Fresh October brings the pheasents,
Then to gather nuts is pleasent.
Dull November brings the blast,
Then the leaves are whirling fast.
Chill December brings the sleet,
Blazing fire, and Christmas treat.

Isle Of Enchantment
Isle of enchantment (Puerto Rico) (3/15/12)
It was the isle of enchantment where I fell in love
The isle where dreams flourish and grow
And your heart is with the one you know.
Where two hearts will become as one
Underneath the Caribbean sun.
Love is in the air and on the beach too
That is where I fell in love with you.
The isle of enchantment called PUERTO RICO
The island that you must get to know.
The beaches with their crystal clear waters
And beautiful white sands
Will make you feel as if you're in the promised land.
How can I not be in love with you?
When you make me feel whole
How can I not be in love with you?
When you touch my inner soul.
In you hope I found- and you turned my life around
You have shown me what it is to live
And to you my love I give.
I never knew what love was before
Till you opened up that door.
The moment I held you in my arms
And kissed you passionately
Right then I knew- another one there can never be.
The isle of enchantment captured my heart and soul
And with you is where I belong.
