The Stripper
She showed up in a faded dress of beige
Quite decent, till the time when she sat down
And then again, after crossing her legs
This time though, she didn't charge for what she'd shown
'The clothing shortage did affect your dress? '
'Oh, this short skirt? That's to announce my job.'
'But what you've worn has seen much better days.'
'I have to save for all the folks I love.'
'Relax, ' I said, ' you're not to work but paid
You need not strip, just tell me what I'll ask
Because I'll write your story now instead
And will that be, to you, a harder task? '
She was among those nameless refugees
Fleeing from tyranny and poverty
Whose skills by hand and mouth might have been less
But in body and face she's got plenty
To some orphans of war she'd have to share
This, I was told by her before we part
Some may think they've seen everything of her
But, lucky me, I got to see her heart.

Time Spent In Dress
In many a lecture, many a book,
You all have heard, you all have read,
That time is precious. Of its use
Much has been written, much been said.
The accomplishments which gladden life,
As music, drawing, dancing, are
Encroachers on our precious time;
Their praise or dispraise I forbear.
They should be practised or forborne,
As parents wish, or friends desire:
What rests alone in their own will
Is all I of the young require.
There's not a more productive source
Of waste of time to the young mind
Than dress; as it regards our hours
My view of it is now confined.
Without some calculation, youth
May live to age and never guess,
That no one study they pursue
Takes half the time they give to dress.
Write in your memorandum-book
The time you at your toilette spend;
Then every moment which you pass,
Talking of dress with a young friend:
And ever when your silent thoughts
Have on this subject been intent,
Set down as nearly as you can
How long on dress your thoughts were bent.
If faithfully you should perform
This task, 'twould teach you to repair
Lost hours, by giving unto dress
Not more of time than its due share.

The body to communicate
Don’t dress to show your wealth.
Don’t dress with much costume.
Don’t sink in jewelry.
Your body must communicate.
Don’t write to show your skills.
Don’t write extensively.
Don’t invent frequent rhymes.
Your message must communicate.

I would recommend the short story form, which is a lot harder to write since you have to be so careful with words, until there is plenty of time to doodle through a novel.

Love's Time
If you trace a finger in the air
will it land finger tip on my mouth?
If you write love notes with your eyes
will my heart cry out?
If I step lightly here
move my skirt just slightly;
will you see?
Can I flirt with you
and see
your waterfall
come gushing
down the hill?
I dance
in my wedding dress
unchosen yet
but worry will you like it?
Can I pick out my veil
and know my gauzy beauty
will still remain
once it's lifted?
How much can we
make Special Time
remain and linger
long moments
between
your mouth
and my lips?
Can you tell
my every thought,
caressing every word
with your soul?
If your heart had a name
would it be mine?
Step toward me then
from across this way,
I'll take that as a sign
however faint
that Love's True Course
is coming here
and will arrive
in Love's Time;
Sweet
and Fulsome.

The Professional Wanderer
When you’ve knocked about the country—been away from home for years;
When the past, by distance softened, nearly fills your eyes with tears—
You are haunted oft, wherever or however you may roam,
By a fancy that you ought to go and see the folks at home.
You forget the family quarrels—little things that used to jar—
And you think of how they’ll worry—how they wonder where you are;
You will think you served them badly, and your own part you’ll condemn,
And it strikes you that you’ll surely be a novelty to them,
For your voice has somewhat altered, and your face has somewhat changed—
And your views of men and matters over wider fields have ranged.
Then it’s time to save your money, or to watch it (how it goes!);
Then it’s time to get a ‘Gladstone’ and a decent suit of clothes;
Then it’s time to practise daily with a hair-brush and a comb,
Till you drop in unexpected on the folks and friends at home.
When you’ve been at home for some time, and the novelty’s worn off,
And old chums no longer court you, and your friends begin to scoff;
When ‘the girls’ no longer kiss you, crying ‘Jack! how you have changed!’
When you’re stale to your relations, and their manner seems estranged ;
When the old domestic quarrels, round the table thrice a day,
Make it too much like the old times—make you wish you’d stayed away,
When, in short, you’ve spent your money in the fulness of your heart,
And your clothes are getting shabby . . . Then it’s high time to depart.

All's Well
The red dress hung from a hanger on the door.
A garment that she had never worn before.
Its vibrant rich colour called to her to buy,
But why?
The red dress made her feel very feminine.
Clad in silkiness she’d felt sylph-like and thin.
Would he really like it, would he like her too,
No clue!
The red dress fitted, so clever the design.
No doubt he would think this lady so divine.
So out on her date she went, one heart beating,
First meeting!
The red dress had made all her dreams come true.
Her beau was so charming the whole evening through.
Love was in the air, the dress had worked its spell,
All’s well!

Leading To The Land
Address, dress;
Stress, less;
Take it,
Take this,
To share it among others!
The cup,
The same light,
Of this time span,
To serve you,
To be patience,
With your needs,
But, dress appropriately! !
To saddle the donkey,
To be by my monkey,
To have the key,
As a symbol upon your hand;
Work and money!
Butter and honey,
And, leading to the land that flows with milk and honey.

This Is Payment Price This Poet Pays
My friend is a salary man luckily gainfully employed
five days a week for eight hours a day he earns his pay.
I also for decades worked my days for weekly monthly pay.
I studied hard put in extra time to fully earn my worker pay,
years sped by I worked and worked to earn hard earned pay,
now for a time a time and a half I do not work this way.
I write I write each day by day or through long night.
I work far harder than I did employed in salary fight.
I live on savings hard earned to earn a right to write.
I charge not chance reader read or read not just as you like.
I work I sacrifice to give gift of love as free as stars above.
I give in time in thought in words in wisdom I give in love.

I miss my twin sister
My twin sister...
Many people said like that to us
Even, we are not coming from the same dad and mom
But our figure are almost the same
I remember when the time she visit me and my husband
My tears came up from my eyes
I don't know why i did that
Maybe because i need her to share my feeling
I need her to hear my story
You lend me everything
You lend me your books
You lend me your Bible
You lend me your dress
You give many precious gifts to me
You lend me your husband to take me
You lend me your husband to hear my sharing
I am sorry my sister, I know i hurt you
But, i never want to replace your place
He is your King
and You are his Queen
No one can't doubt me for that
Please, smile for me
You look so pretty with that dress
He is so lucky to have you
Pray for me.... so i can live my life with smile
The hindustani dress is the sexiest.
A short blouse, low cut skirt,
belly open beyond navel,
a sash worn across the breast,
the most sexiest dress
a woman can have to excite men.
The belly reminds you of your abode;
The curve of the blouse
reminds you of your earlier sucking.
The frills remind you of the spot
underneath, the exit door.
The hindustani dress is ever invented
To make woman more alluring.

Kylie's Smiley Mix
I'm seeing in your way
But i don't believe it's true
That i'm not the one to make you happy
It would be so wrong
For us to break in two
But do what you gotta do
I hope that you find someone
Who can love you like i do
I'll be strong inside
But i'll still be loving you
It's no secret (x4)
When i first meet you
How you changed my life that day
But with each tomorrow
You just seem to drift away
Then i discovered
That you were cheating
You were cheating on me
But i was the last to know
Ooh, ooh
Our love was a life
And it's no secret
It's no secret
How you hurt me inside
And it's no secret
Because you told everybody
Rain falling down
Another minute passes by
I'll wait for you
But this time i won't cry
Where are you now
Are you with another love
It's not the first time
You stood me up and let me down
I, i, i'm wondering why
I still love you
Je ne sais pas pourquoi
I still want you
Je ne sais pas pourquoi
Did you believe i'd let you down
Your jealous heart
Gave you the runaround
You couldn't see that
I would always be a friend
If you could look inside your heart
And understand what's tearing you apart
You gotta trust someone
Don't let hate get in the way
Just turn it into love
Turn it into love
And open up your heart
And you'll never feel ashamed
If you turn it, turn it
Turn it into love
In my imagination
There is no complication
I dream about you all the time
In my mind of celebration
The sweetest of sensation
Thinking you could be mine
In my imagination
There is no hesitation
We walk together hand in hand
I'm dreaming
You fell in love with me
Like i'm in love with you
But dreaming's all i do
If only they'd come true
I should be so lucky
Lucky, lucky, lucky
I should be so lucky in love
I should be so lucky
Lucky, lucky, lucky
I should be so lucky in love
You keep on asking me
Why can't we be together
I keep saying
Won't you wait a while
What's all the hurry
I thought we had forever
I just need time
Till i can make up my mind
I'm not asking for
A love to last forever
I don't expect
To get a guarantee
It's just that i believe
Lovers should stick together
I'm only saying
Won't you wait for me
I've got to be
Got to be certain
I've got to be so sure
I've had my share
Of hearts broken
And i don't wanna take that anymore
All aboard!

April, March! Soldiers Search for HUNGER MARCH - A1 Story
World has advanced in many days...
Yet in 21st Century poverty retains in umpteen ways;
Hunger glinted in his eyes...
He does begging and petty thievery, at the same time!
Cheeks were sunken and clothes were in rags but still, a crime!
Believe I swear in the name of god, my words are not lies.
April, March! Soldiers search for Hunger march at poverty's home.
I saw a rag picker scrounging for a coin in the garbage,
Though he is with bare foot who knows as bub, he is cute!
Owing to the troubles he met, made him mute.
He can fill the rivers with poverty's tears...
His eyes were pale and mouth opened for food cabbage!
One among is he, pleading and begging the passersby yet nobody hears.
April, March! Soldiers search for Hunger march at poverty's home.
The street is lighted with half naked
Bodies go begging down, the street and half fed,
From head to toe they're covered with poverty, yet
With pain and misery as their make-up set;
Hunger is present in their stomach and a rat's race!
And it is vaguely seen on their face and a food race.
April, March! Soldiers search for Hunger march at poverty's home.
Labourers in construction breaking the stones...
And lifting the bricks while scorching sun is the witness!
They work bodily, resembles awkward dance of a heap of bones,
The skin saturates and swallows the heat, I bet!
Leaving it dark as the midnight sky, oh! What a mess!
Their hopes are dashed; life is smashed of body’s sweat!
The Mother weeps and father yells!
Sitting in the house of poverty and what-else!
Small sister sleeps and her little brother dies and I linger;
His father only stares as he is killed by hunger...
Why doctors only cure diseases and why not
Poverty - the biggest disease of all. Is it not?
April, March! Soldiers search for Hunger march at poverty's home.
Every now and then in newspapers, I hear
The death of a peasant or two, oh my dear!
Unable to feed family, life has become Herculean task,
Drowned himself in melancholy, under hunger mask!
Bogged down under wheels of Pressure, not to hide...
Due to debts of treasure, he committed suicide!
April, March! Soldiers search for Hunger march at poverty's home.
Lot of hunger and empty bowl without food is poverty,
Not having one more dress to take bath is poverty,

Beige To Beige
No songs on the stereo
That we could sing with anymore
No dance that I can do
That would not embarrass you
A sound bite here and there
With no reason for me to care
Chorus:
Its just beige to beige
Thats all it is these days
Little windows for you to crawl through
You just do whats expected of you
Its just beige to beige to beige
These days
Uniforms for this and that
To be in our club you must wear this hat
Charlies gonna look out for you
You just do what youre supposed to do
Youre gonna fit in here
Just like you should
Learn the rules and learn them good
Chorus:
Its just beige to beige
Thats all it is these days
Little windows for you to crawl through
You just do whats expected of you
Its just beige to beige to beige
These days
If you need a thought
Well give it to you
Our statistics show what we do is true
A world without color
Is a world without sound
A world to keep the rabble down
So close the deal, close the door
Forget about the colors that you knew before
Chorus:
Its just beige to beige
Thats all it is these days, yeah
Little windows for you to crawl through
And charlie gonna take care of you
Its just beige to beige to beige
These days

Reflection For Peace Minus War
We have to look at man's many past mistakes
If we are to improve our country's fate
In the past so many, many lives were lost
And, of course, we will never forget the Holocaust
Time and Time again men and women are injured in war
With refugees fleeing as gunshots soar
Yet we never seem to see any possible end
Wars just come, over and over, again and again
We've had more than our share of Hitler and Stalin
Never forgetting the terrible reign of Saddam Hussein
The world would be blessed if a dictator we'd never see
There would be less war, pain, death, and no refugees.

Bob Says
Bob says the harder I work the luckier I seem to get
And do not tell me there is not money in the loss of human sweat
If I did not work as hard less money I would have for to spend
The wealthy one has lots of mates but the pauper does not have a friend.
Bob says my neighbour Freddy he does like to complain
He only works three days a week and though to him I try to explain
Had he got another part time job how much better off he would be
But he just likes to have his whinge he does not listen to me.
Hard work doesn't seem to bother Bob the harder I work he say
The more money I always make life seems to be that way
One would have to become very lucky to become a lotto millionaire
And those who come by money in the easy way to say the least are rare.
Bob says the harder I work the wealthier I seem to grow
Were I a lazy fellow I would not have much to show
For the opportunities I've been granted for the betterment of myself, my children and my wife
The work shy and lazy person never will succeed in life.

F.M. Doll
Take my doll put on her pretty clothes
Now don't you soil her dress
Brush her hair, paint her lips like a rose
Cover up your mess
Strip baby strip 'cause your daddy is watching
Strip baby strip just for me
Strip baby strip show your mother knows nothing
Strip baby strip Just for me, oh
Someone say doctor is my friend
Bruising is his cause
Behind closing doors
Strip baby strip for the soul of your brother
Strip baby strip for his wife
Strip baby strip 'cause you know she's not willing
Strip baby strip by the knife, Yeah
I lost my doll, put on my pretty clothes
I wont soil my dress
I brush my hair, paint my lips like a rose
I cover up my mess
Strip baby strip for the soul of your mother
Strip baby strip for her life
Strip baby strip 'cause you know you're worth nothing
Strip baby strip by the knife
Strip baby strip 'cause your daddy is watching
Strip baby strip just for me
Strip baby strip 'cause you know you're worth nothing
Strip baby strip for me, oh yeah

Time
Ain't the snow fallin' just a bit deeper these days
Aren't they building the stairs a bit steeper these days
And the town's really changin' in so many ways time time time
The young folks they're growin' exceptionally tall
And the newspaper print it's becomin' quite small
And folks speak so softly you can hardly hear at all time time time
The jokes don't seem as witty as the old jokes once were
And the girls are half as pretty as I remember her
And today you know in the park a young man called me sir time time time
Yeah I'm not quite as anxious for fame or success
And my eye finds the girl in the plain quiet dress
And I cling a bit longer to each warm caress time time time
So I breathe a bit heavy when I climb a hill
What of it my life now is really much more fulfilled
But they're tearin' down the building that I watched them build
Time time time time time time

Frank P. Kosmach- 90th Birthday
My mother gave me a silver pen
with Frank's name and birthday inscribed.
We never knew Frank but Father told us
he was a very lucky man,
richer than the silver pen that drove him
to write my father a big check on pink paper.
Frank was lucky alright.
He paid his bills on time
and he had silver mint ships and pens
to spare and everything had
his name on it. He was the proud
chief of his german tribe and I'm sure
he knew all about world wars
and how they lasted all the time.
A story must have stuck in his head, too,
sweet like too much molasses
though I never knew him, like I said,
but whenever I write with his pen
I think of his skin, his silver-
where it went.

The Love That I Have For You....
outside i watch you
you are inside yourself
a room
a wall but there is window still
that allows light
to come in
and dress you like
a night without the armor
i am the light
and i like the way things are going with us
you just do not know
what is it
to be just light
without a body
what is it to have so many fingers
& yet
without a hand
the room is darker
but i know what it is to be a tiny sun
you fan yourself with your
innocence
your hands are callous
and it is a little bit colder
when by chance you touch my
rays and sheen
when i meet you
like i am water bathing your body
as i dress you once again
with the cloth
of my silk
soul
i quiver like a soft wind
on the reeds
of the moonlit night
i love it this way
this invisible presence
this nameless light
this desire that fulfills itself
without you
feeling it
must i be selfish?
or must i be the one that does not let you suffer
because you cannot love
light
because your coldness is uncertain about the gift
of warmth
its truth beyond all truths
when i am done with you
i summon the rain
& bathe myself again
to wash away
the dirt of guilt
the scars of pain
though
remaining
look at me
i am the morning light that spreads on the garden
of your thighs and
legs
as you watch
with all delight
you only see the wonder of light
and its accompanying music
and then
satisfied with all the caresses of thoughts that i have always loved you
i go with the herds of rain
and what is left to please me more
is your own
fading face
like those ripples on the pond
that the lonely leaf
had given
the shape of love that i carry with me
as air embracing the heavens
again....

What is Poverty?
What does poverty really entail?
How bad does it have to get?
For some a bad economy
Is poverty from where they sit
But if you look back to hard times
During the early years
It’s not having a home to live in
The hopelessness can bring tears
The Great Depression had it all
No jobs and no place to dwell
Barely enough to eat or nothing at all
These folks went through hell
Thread bare was the term for clothing
Dirt poor was a phrase as well
Looking at black and white pictures
Oh yes, you can surely tell
It’s a time when we hope God
Is able to see
That folks need His help because
They have slipped into poverty!
