Prayer Of The Meek
My Lord, please set my heart to make amends,
Fill me words of truth, not of one deranged,
Make me so meek towards some estranged friends,
Whose tongues to scorpions' tails have so exchanged;
Let not my pen be sharper than their swords,
My coat, make not of more colors than theirs,
Give me wisdom as modesty affords,
I only act for good, my heart declares;
I drank perfumes to scent the words I spoke,
And closed my eyes to purify my thoughts,
With fettered hands, to burden I did yoke,
My pen, not sharp enough to make onslaughts;
……My Lord, make me as light where so I pass,
…..Or let me fly so not to tread the grass.

My Thoughts
Thought in the eyes,
The ears.
Thought in mind,
The brain,
Thought in heart,
The soul.
Great thought is great
when it becomes great deeds.
With my thoughts within
Building my world within
Learning with thought;
Is great learning wisdom.
Learning without thought,
Is opportunity lost.
Thought for others
Thought for God
Thought for good
Thought for God’s blessing
Thoughts teach me,
Thoughts educate me,
Thoughts clarify me,
Thoughts enlighten me.
Thoughts make me wise
Thoughts make me patience
Thoughts make me trust others
Thoughts make me clam.
Thoughts before act
Is smart and wise
Act before thoughts
Is stupid and foolish
That’s my thoughts
They make thinking clear
They make belief deepen
They make confidence high.
In thoughts, my world
In my world, make my thoughts.
In thoughts, my words
In my words, make my speech
It’s my thoughts count
Counting my thoughts
To endless counting thoughts
Thinking the thoughts endlessly
My thoughts and thoughts again.

Make The Man Love Me
Lord I haven't ask for anything
In such a long, long time
Not since that brand new party dress
When I was eight or nine
And I know the world's in such a stench
You got a lot to do
But if you ever find yourself
With a minute or two
Won'tcha please
[Chorus:]
Make the man love me
Ah make the man see
I'd be so good for him
If he'd start letting me
Come on now
Make the man love me
Ah make the man care
Just open up his heart, Lord
And I'll take it from there
Lord I know that he needs me
It's just he don't know
And my heart so full of him
It's gonna overflow
And so if you should have a miracle
You wanna do up right
Ah won'tcha take him by the hand
And show him the light
Won'tcha you please
[Chorus]
Oh I want him
Lord how I want him
To make some love to me
Won'tcha make him see
How sweet it could be
So come on come on now
[Chorus]

Previously recorded by ike and tina as tinas prayer
B-side of the I dont wanna fight single
Im talking to the priest
The high priest
And everybody out there in the universe
If what Im saying is wrong
Then tell me the right way to say it
Cause I wanna be made over
Paint me red, paint me green
Give me liberty, wash me clean
Make me over, make me nice
Cause when Im done, lord, I wanna be right
Hey lord
Make me over, I wanna be made over
Hey lord
Make me over, I wanna be made over
Make me smart, make me king
Give a lot, give me steam
I want eternal beauty, spiritual things
Cause when Im done, yes I wanna be a good thing
Hey lord
Make me over, I wanna be made over
Hey lord
Make me over, I wanna be made over
I wanna go places, I wanna do some things
I wanna be a star, I wanna have a big name
But in my heart, let beauty reign
And when Im done, I wanna have fame

Give me power, give me love
I wanna be desireable, voluptous, tenderlized

A Truthful Denial
What's to make truth a lie
To ponder wisdom, but let it by
What's to question passage truff
To iron down and make it rough
Don't you make your own decisions
Don't you make your own rhyme
Don't let a light burned down
Ruin tyrant time
Life's a humored truth in lie
Truth's a righted wrong of sigh
Deny two wrongs and right a truth
Put words in meaning, give them use.

Happy Birthday....
Dear Lord.... Good morning
Thanks for brightly December
Thanks for those smile
Thanks for nice neighborhood
Thanks for forgiveness
Thanks for a very special today
For a Birthday of my son's cousin
Dear Lord... Let The Holly Spirit
Bring our smile in our family
Let us have a a good respect for one to another
We can't be a hero without You, my dear Lord
Lord, let us put this heart on You
With share to others
With the unspoken of True Love
But with the act of love
Dear Lord.... You open our eyes
The winner of all battle are
People who can change lust in to true love
The winner of all games
are not the people who have a lot of money
But the winner are people who can always smile
when people insulted them
when people humiliated them
when people can give to others even though they are poor
Dear Lord.... I am honest to you
It's difficult to be a winner
But i try my best to love to people who hate and hurt me
I try to give without ask them to return
I pray for them Lord
So they have a pure heart to others too
Lord, i believe You will make us smile
I don't want to cry
I let go my sins
And i want to do it right
Only to make You happy
Lord... by saying these words
A peaceful feeling is really coming in to my heart
Keep my heart always clean from any sin
Amen..
Change Me O God
Change my heart O God
Make me a righteous person like You
Change my mind O God
Let me think wise in everything I do
Change my eyes O God
Give me a sight to see the light in You
Change my hands O God
Make me a fisher of man for You
Change my feet O God
Make me walk upright like You
Change my lips O God
And let me speak Your word of truth
Come and cleanse me O God
Make me whiter than the December snow
Come and forgive me O God
For all the wrong things I’ve done, and the lie words I’ve told

You Cant Make Love
You can make money, you can make good
Friends
You can make mistakes and you can make
Amends
You can make it easy when push comes to
Shove, but-
You cant make love
You can make advances, you can make
Big plans
Plant sloppy kisses all over her hands
You can tell her everything youre dreamin
Of, but-
You cant make love
Loves a little word that been kicked around
Used too much, beaten down
What in the world are you thinkin of?
You cant make love
You can go through the motions with your
Magic spells
Buy all the potions that fifth avenue sells
You can try to call down all the stars above,
But-
You cant make love
You can buy her diamonds, you can go out in style
You can make a promise, you can walk
Down the aisle
You can make a life for her that fits like
A glove, but-
You can t make love
Oh, it takes so long
You gotta be strong
Before its gone
What in the world where you thinkin of,
Boy-
You cant make love

Decisions
At the times decisions must be had, we weigh the good and the bad.
Decisions not always cut and dry, being left too often to wonder why,
What decision bears more weight, on the scale that people call fate?
Why do these things happen to me, just what is it that I can not see?
With decisions made from the heart, reason sometimes plays no part.
There is never rhyme or reason, when it’s your heart you’re pleasing.
And reason can seem kind of cold, when a decision seems to be bold.
However, it is never fate my friend, with our God, who knows the end.
With any decision that you make, there’s a chance a heart will break.
But you must remember my friend, that in due time hearts will mend.
Decisions come in various kinds, and burden both hearts and minds.
Whatever the decision, be assured, guidance is offered by The Lord.
Friend, you can humbly go to God, and He will light the path to trod.
And when you truly seek His face, God will fill your heart with Grace.
Make the decision and take a stand, even if others don’t understand.
If someone towards you is unkind, Christ will give you peace of mind.
The Lord will light the proper path, guiding you from the unkind wrath.
If you have never sought The Lord, He’s truly a source to be implored.
Christ will then show you the way, to make a decision in a Godly way.
With God make your decision then, leave it with The Savior my friend.

The Way You Are
The Way You Are
Sometimes you ignore me
Sometimes you roll your eyes
Sometimes you don't notice me
And just give me a deep sigh
Sometimes you make me cry
Sometimes you make me weep
Sometimes when I pass by
I just give you the creeps
Sometimes you boss me around
Sometimes you tell me what to do
Sometimes I go round and round
Just to please and satisfy you
BUT...
Most of the time you make me happy
Most of the time you give me smiles
Most of the time you make me feel uneasy
I can hear my heart beat through miles
Most of the time you raise me up
Most of the time you encourage me
Most of the time you fill me up
Fill me up with overflowing glee
Most of the time you hold me tight
Most of the time you lift me up so high
Most of the time you teach me what's right
You make me fly way into the sky
Most of the time you are my support
Most of the time you are my light
Most of the time you give me comfort
You help me with all your might
Sometimes you make me hate you
Most of the time I just hide it inside
Sometimes you make me want to kill you
But most of the time, I just want you by my side
Sometimes...
Most of the time...
Sometimes...
Most of the time...
That's just the way it is
That's just the way you are
But I love the way it is...
And I certainly love...
The way you are

Gonna Make You Mine
Since the time we met never shall forget
The magic feeling when I look in your eyes
Every now and then I see you again
But the words never come out right
I've always been painfully shy
I hide what I feel inside
Tonight I (never let you get away)
Open my heart (Invite you in to stay)
I need you (more than words can say)
And I hope you feel the same
(Gonna make you mine, I'll make you mine)
You've captured my heart
And I won't take no for an answer
(Gonna make you mine, I'll make you mine)
Hope that there's a chance, Baby
That we can get together
Cause I (Gonna make you mine) gonna make you see
(Gonna make you mine) you were meant for me
(Gonna make you mine)
I wanna love you endlessly
Many times before I would just ignore
Love when it came around and knocked on my door
Keeping to myself, trusting no one else
I've put my heart out of reach on a shelf
With you I can't pass up this chance
For a once in a lifetime romance
Cause after all (someone said it very plain)
When it comes to love (no pain no gain)
I think I'll (take a chance on you)
And you know I play to win I'm
(Gonna make you mine, I'll make you mine)
You've captured my heart
And I won't take no for an answer
(Gonna make you mine, I'll make you mine)
Hope that there's a chance, Honey
That we can get together
Cause I (gonna make you mine)
Gonna make you see (Gonna make you mine)
You were meant for me (Gonna make you m

Poet Rabindranath Tagore
You take the words right out of my mind
A poet like you is now hard to find
You make me smile you make me cry
You make me think you make me try
You make me sing you make me dance
In joy sorrow and wild romance
You give me new hope and inspiration
You help me to drive away frustration
You show me the way to win heart
You are always state-of the-art

We Can Make It
I would do anything, anything a man can do
Youre my strength and weakness
I give it all for you
I would climb any mountain
How can I make you see?
Though the stars may fall, it will always be you and me
The light in your eyes is all the hope I need
Theres so much you can give
Your smile is my reason to live
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me. the world will see
I know that we can make it, you and me
I see you, full of sadness
Wondering bout this world weve made
Theres a space between us all
Love has seen some better days
Oh we can make it
Oh we can make it
The love in your eyes is all I need to know
Im never letting go
Im here for you heart and soul
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me, the world will see
I know that we can make it
I know that we can make it (hey, yeah)
Just take my hand, well make a stand
I know that we can make it
(hey) its you and me. the world will see
I know that we can make it
I know that we can make it
You and me

Huswifery
Make me, O Lord, Thy spinning-wheel complete.
Thy holy word my distaff make for me.
Make mine affections Thy swift flyers neat
And make my soul Thy holy spool to be.
My conversation make to be Thy reel
And reel thy yarn thereon spun of Thy wheel.
Make me Thy loom then, knit therein this twine:
And make Thy Holy Spirit, Lord, wind quills:
Then weave the web Thyself. Thy yarn is fine.
Thine ordinances make my fulling-mills.
Then dye the same in heavenly colors choice,
All pinked with varnished flowers of paradise.
Then clothe therewith mine understanding, will,
Affections, judgement, conscience, memory,
My words and actions, that their shine may fill
My ways with glory and Thee glorify.
Then mine apparel shall display before Ye
That I am clothed in holy robes for glory.

You're On Your Own
Well try and make up your mind
Well try to make up your mind
Well try to make up your mind
Well try to make up your mind, yeah
Now you're on you're own, yeah yeah baby
Now you're on you're own, yeah
There's a new moon rising on the other side
The other side of you
Talk to yourself and someone else
What you tryin' to do
You maybe will, you maybe won't
It's all for you to say
You say you do, and then you don't
It's only you in the way, yeah yeah yeah
Baby, now you're on you're own, yeah yeah yeah baby
Hey, now you're on you're own, yeah
When the light is gone that left your eyes
I haven't spoke too soon
And now we know your pretty words
Is just another tune
You spoke your mind, you've been quite kind
It's all according to you
Well go inside, keep your pride
I can't get through to you, no no
Now you're on you're own
Now you're on you're own
Well try and make up your mind
Well try and make up your mind
Well try and make up your mind
Well try and make up your mind

Don't Cry
Give me time
To realize my crime
Let me love and steal
I have danced inside your eyes
How can I be real
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Precious kisses
Words that burn me
Lovers never ask you why
In my heart
The fires burning
Choose my color
Find a star
Precious people always tell me
That's a step
A step too far
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Words are few
I have spoken
I could waste a thousand years
Wrapped in sorrow
Words are token
Come inside and catch my tears
You've been talking but believe me
If its true
You do not know
This boy loves without a reason
I'm prepared to let you go
If its love you want from me
Then take it away
Everything is not what you see
It's over again
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry...

Travelin Prayer
Hey lord, take a look on around tonight
And find out where my babys gonna be
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
For he is far away from me
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
Make sure that hes gonna be alright
Things gonna be alright with me
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
And make sure all his dreams are sweet
Send down that ya got him on the road
But youll make it softer for his feet
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
Make sure that hes gonna be alright
til hes home and here with me
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
For he is sleeping under the sky
Hey lord, make sure the ground hes sleepin on
Is always warm and dry
Ooo, dont give him too much pain
And keep him away from planes
Cause my baby hates to fly
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
For it gets rough along the way
And if it all sounds strange
Just because I dont know how to pray
Ooo, wont you give him peace of mind
And if you ever find the time
Tell him I miss him everyday
Hey lord, take a look on around tonight
And find out where hes gonna be
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
For he is far away from me
Hey lord, would ya look out for him tonight
Make sure that hes gonna be alright
til hes home and here with me
Here with me

Wisdom From Above
The Word of God is so very clear, yet, so many men have no fear,
Within their hearts, of The Lord, and so God’s Word goes ignored;
A fear that begins wisdom for all, men everywhere great and small,
Wisdom which opens eyes to see, Truths from the Lord of Eternity.
The Lord revealed Himself to Israel, revealing His Purpose and Will,
And today the Lord’s Revelation, is available to every single nation,
For God spoke through His Son, not just to Israel, but to everyone,
God’s Son was revealed to all men, in a world that was condemned.
My friend, this day as in ages past, only Heavenly Wisdom will last,
A wisdom, which you will receive, when God’s Truth you do believe,
The Wisdom from The Lord above, greater than what men speak of,
Far surpassing the wisdom of men, that, Christ Jesus will condemn.
With this Wisdom, you will heed, the words of Truth which you read,
And as the Spirit opens your eyes, worldly wisdom you will despise,
Embracing Truths of God’s Word, over empty wisdom you’ve heard,
As The Spirit of God does impart, Truth and Wisdom into your heart.
Man’s worldly wisdom my friend, God makes foolishness in the end,
As God frustrates their empty ways, for The Lord’s Glory and Praise;
This all begins through Godly fear, of The Lord, Who is so very near,
And God’s Wisdom, you will see, leads a heart to New Life, Eternally.

Sonnet-Give Me More Patience, Lord
Give me my patience Lord, give me some more;
The world denies the fairness that I seek;
And on the contrary, they hurt me sore,
Of mind and heart that is lamb-like and meek.
Give me my patience Lord, against my foe;
He irks me more, the humbler I become;
And every day, he gives me greater woe;
I've got to make my body and skin, numb!
Give me more patience Lord, I need some more;
My enemies unite to threaten me;
My heart has never revenge in its core;
They will not let me be, what I must be.
Give me more patience Lord, I ask for more;
I pray you open me another door.
