Jealousy

Shackled monster lurking in every heart,
With such ferocious guile, that's ever found,
Smiling in pain, deftly playing the part,
But yet, waiting for ego to unbound.
With eyes, so green, and spiteful as it goes,
Deceitful of mien, posing meek as dove,
Thriving in ranks of friends and foes,
And scheming worst, by burning hearts that love.
Docile, but yet, to rage wildest in some,
Envious of stars, that other fools have caught,
Feeding on wiles, and vain desires that come,
Making counseling, all coming to naught.
Oft quick to lash at enemies assumed,
But lo! It's very self it just consumed.

Anger or Agony

One path is filled with anger,
Darkened with hate,
Swirling with spiteful desires.

The other is filled with pain,
Littered with sad memories,
Pulsing with the beating of a wounded heart.

If I must choose one path,
The choice would not be so clear,
For each one bears an abundance of dreadful surprises.

But is anger as dreadful as agony?
Are sad memories not more toxic than the feeling of hate?
Would spiteful desires not be easier to cope with than a wounded heart?

Anger clouds the mind, but pain cripples the soul,
Hate turns the heart cold, but sad memories tear it apart,
Spiteful desires fuel the fires of rage, but a wounded heart bleeds.

Who could be blamed, if forced with the choice,
Who would not take the lesser of two evils,
Who would rather wallow in grief and agony,
Than spiral in the painless storm that is anger?

Only In Sleep (An Attempt To Be Relevant)

only in sleep
shall i make love with you
only in sleep
shall you caress my body
only in sleep
shall this love have
mutuality
only in sleep
shall we two become one
only in sleep
shall passion be
only in sleep
can i be true

after this sleep
one takes the mask again
dresses up for the
coming hours
well poised and respected
one meets lies with lies
quick as a sparrow
meek as a dove
but foxy still
with all your wiles

only in sleep
shall we all be weak
only in sleep
shall love
be love

Fools Fall In Love (#4)

Fools fall in love in a hurry
Fools give their hearts much too soon
Just put in two bars of stardust
Just hang out one silly moon
Oh! They've got their love torches burning
When they should be playing it cool
I used to laugh but now I'm the same
Take a look at a brand new fool
Fools fall in love just like schoolgirls
Blinded by rose colored dreams
They build their castles on wishes
With only rainbows for beams
Oh! They're making plans for the future
When they should be right back in school
I used to laugh but now I'm the same
Take a look at a brand new fool
All right!
They've got their love torches burning
When they should be playing it cool
I used to laugh but now I'm the same
Take a look at a brand new fool
Take a look at a brand new fool

Isaac Watts

Psalm 109

v.1-5,31
C. M.
Love to enemies from the example of Christ.

God of my mercy and my praise,
Thy glory is my song,
Though sinners speak against thy grace
With a blaspheming tongue.

When in the form of mortal man
Thy Son on earth was found,
With cruel slanders, false and vain,
They compassed him around.

Their miseries his compassion move,
Their peace he still pursued;
They render hatred for his love,
And evil for his good.

Their malice raged without a cause,
Yet, with his dying breath,
He prayed for murderers on his cross,
And blessed his foes in death.

Lord, shall thy bright example shine
In vain before my eyes?
Give me a soul akin to thine,
To love my enemies.

The Lord shall on my side engage,
And, in my Savior's name,
I shall defeat their pride and rage
Who slander and condemn.

S12

a burning heart, he says, he has a burning heart
and i imagine a burning bush, as we wonder how come that
there is also an eternal fire that does not burn
and char anybody
a burning heart and it does not stop to burn
there is still pain in there, but the burning heart is never consumed
it burns love, and pain is always lesser
there may be no joy anymore, but the giving insists
everything, everything take them all away
that is the only meaning of the burning heart
always unconsumed, never charred, a stranger to the ashes.

A Happy Moment

inside an old restaurant
i order hot choco
and sweet rice cake

not so expensive
and we are not so hungry

but oh my
when we finally take the glances
of our faces

the glow of our eyes
burning like fire
we want to consume more
we want to be consumed the more

hungry for love we leave the place
the fires still burning in our hearts

the rain outside
can never put off what was burning inside us

love is always and shall always be
unstoppable,
unquenchable, insatiable like a burning ball of fire

in the space of our desires

Monster

Written by gerry beckley, 1977
Found on harbor.
The monster exposed himself from underground
Burning his face as he ran through the town
Hoping the patrons just dont hear a sound
Heart, court and harmony just aint the same
My black and their green playing some games
Ive got all these pictures I just need the frames
These are the things that youll never do
Feeding the wife on the phone
And there you are, all on your own
Red and blue, I want to like a hole in the head
It slopes in the middle and is stopping them dead
Id like to help them; Ive already said
These are the things that youll never do
Running away from your home
And there you are, all on your own
Mm, mm. mm, mm.

Mont Choisy

When she looks at me my heart it aches,
When she looks away my heart it breaks,
Your eyes green like the emerald sea,
Give me your all and it will be alright,
And we will make it into the Light!

Your heart is fine,
It will be mine,
I feel your love,
Descending like a Dove,

From mountains green I hear your call,
To valleys deep you make me crawl,
Your smile it melts my icy heart,
Darlin' please be mine tonight,
And we will make it into the Light!

Mauritian beaches set our love in their sand,
When I feel weak, your love makes me a man,
Honey please make me whole,
In your eyes I see the stars shine bright,
At last I see us in the Light!

Your heart is fine,
It will be mine,
I feel your love,
Descending like a Dove,
Like a Dove...
Like a Dove...
Like a Dove...

Only Fools

The beacon light
stretches out from the shore
to warn passing ships
of the dangers
that are lurking
hidden from their view

Now with everything
we need a beacon light
to help show us
the safest way through.
Love is like a minefield
one false step and then we are through.

Only fools do not take heed
of dangers they cannot see.
They rush head on into things
regardless of the dangers lurking there.
They feel they have charmed lives,
that nothing can hurt them there.

How many fools,
have we seen,
with broken hearts
littered everywhere,
and being fools they are,
they do not really care.

Others tread a wearier path,
ensuring it’s on solid ground.
However, that does no guarantees
to them love will ever be found.
I’d rather be the fool,
and see love everywhere.

For The Friends And Foes

FOR THE FRIENDS AND FOES

FLAMES OF JOY BURNING EVERYWHERE
IN THE MIDDLE OF COLD WINTER
FLOWING IS WARM SPIRIT TO SHARE
MELTING THE TENDER FEELINGS TO CARE

FOR THE FRIENDS FOES AND NEIGHBORS
LIVING AS ONE TOGETHER AND FOREVER
BONDING WITH SWEET SOUNDS OF LAUGHTER
OPENING THE HEARTS TO DIVINE TO SURRENDER

BREEZE OF HAPPINESS BLOWING WITH SNOW
SPRINKLING GOODWILL MAKING IT GROW
ALL OVER MAKING THE WORLD GLOW
IN DIVINE SHADOWS IN PEACEFUL MEADOWS

FOR THE FRIENDS AND FOES AND NEIGHBORS
LIVING AS ONE TOGETHER AND FOREVER
BONDING WITH SWEET SOUNDS OF LAUGHTER
OPENING THE HEARTS TO DIVINE TO SURRENDER

RIVER OF UNDERSTANDING MAKING ITS WAY
IN THE SOULS NIGHT AND DAY
EVEN UNDER THE SKIES OF GRAY
EVERYONE TAKING PRECIOUS TIME TO PRAY

Parting

O tell me, friends, while yet we part,
And heart can yet be heard of heart,
O tell me then, for what is it
Our early plan of life we quit;
From all our old intentions range,
And why does all so wholly change?
O tell me, friends, while yet we part!

O tell me, friends, while yet we part,
The rays that from the centre start
Within the orb of one warm sun,
Unless I err, have once begun,
Why is it thus they still diverge?
And whither tends the course they urge?
O tell me, friends, while yet we part!

O tell me, friends, while yet ye hear,
May it not be, some coming year,
These ancient paths that here divide
Shall yet again run side by side,
And you from there, and I from here,
All on a sudden reappear?
O tell me, friends, while yet ye hear!

O tell me, friends, ye hardly hear,
And if indeed ye did, I fear
Ye would not say, ye would not speak,
Are you so strong, am I so weak,
And yet, how much so e’er I yearn,
Can I not follow, nor you turn?
O tell me, friends, ye hardly hear!

O tell me, friends, ere words are o’er,
There’s something in me sad and sore
Repines, and underneath my eyes
I feel a somewhat that would rise,
O tell me, O my friends, and you,
Do you feel nothing like it too?
O tell me, friends, ere words are o’er!

O tell me, friends that are no more,
Do you, too, think ere it is o’er
Old times shall yet come round as erst,
And we be friends, as we were first?
Or do you judge that all is vain,
Except that rule that none complain?
O tell me, friends that are no more!

Stranded At The Moonbase

A long way up in light-years,
Just a pinpoint in space,
In a century of planetary storms,
Stranded at the moonbase,
The air is getting low.
The air is getting low.
Looking out at the roof-window,
I've seen many strange things,
From shooting stars to Stars 'n' Stripes
Thought I'd caught a glimpse of golden wings.
The air is getting low,
The air is getting low,
The air is getting low,
The air is getting low.
I got the vision of a big white dove.
I've heard the creaking of the pearly gates above.
I'm wond'ring why the big white dove
Is keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting,
Keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting,
Keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting.
Looking way down below me,
The worlds are all awhirl-whirly.
Won't you come along beside?
This place waits for company.
The air is getting low.
The air is getting low.
I leave my limbs behind me.
As I'm being lifted
Out into the, into the
Spiritual boom-boom abyss.
The air is getting low.
The air is getting low.
The air is getting low.
The air is getting low.
I got the vision of a big white dove.
I've heard the creaking of the pearly gates above.
I'm wond'ring why the big white dove
Is keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting,
Keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting,
Keeping me waiting, keeping me waiting.

Deciver Of Fools

He told the tale so many times
About the dream not meant to be
In a world of the free
He plays with your mind
As faith for the future faded fast
He grows strong with their displeasure
It sets him free
Deceiver of hearts
Deceiver of fools
He rules with fear
Deceiver of hearts
Deceiver of fools
He rules again
He feeds on fear
Poisons the truth
To gain their faith
To lead the way
To a world of decay
He rules your heart
He will sell your soul to the grave
No hesitation he'll make
He belongs to the dark
Please awake
And see the truth
He can only be
If you believe what he tells you
Remember who you are
What you stand for
And there will always be a way
In my heart there is a place
In my heart there is a trace
Of a small fire burning
A sheltering ray shines through this night
Although it 's small, it's bright
But darkness is lurking
He will sell your soul to bitterness and cold
Fear him
Deceiver of hearts
Deceiver of fools
He rules with fear
Deceiver of hearts
Deceiver of fools
Shall he rule again?

True Frıendship

Your friends are your needs answered;
They are your field which you sow
With Love and harvest with thanksgiving

Friends provide drink and sustenance
When you suffer with hunger and thirst

When friends speak their minds you fear not;
Saying “No”, nor withhold saying “Yes”

When friends are silent;
Your heart need not cease listening to their heart

Without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires,
All expectations are born and shared, with joy unbound

Let their be no purpose in friendship save
The deepening of your spiritual connection

Always give the best of who you are and what you have to friends,
As it is for them to fill your needs, not just your emptiness

Seek not friends for hours to kill, rather for hours to live;
For within friendship there is laughter, mirth and pleasure

When parting from friends, grieve not;
For that which you love most in them may
Be clearer in their absence

Remember friendship as with love;
Seeks nothing save disclosure of its own mystery

“True friendship”
Is found in the smallest acts of love and kindness

Alone

Open your heart for those

Their heart are sweetened with love

Pour them to your heart

Let them there to fill your heart With hop

and sweet desires

Nothing but love can take away your lone

Summer days once again came,

Alas, in vain full of pain

Unfortunately through vainly dirges

Summer days have passed alone

Leaving here all their pain

The loneliness still surrounded my heart

Every time when my best friend night

comes out He takes away my loneliness

even for a whiles

What stays there when the love is gone

The loneliness the shadows of smiles

The memories are gazing around

One by one are chasing each other

With woeful laughter and cry Cradling

upon the fire of my heart

Those heart desires with smiling faces

Mockingly are shaking their hands Ending

up there somewhat somewhere

The days are long when you're alone

Nothingness became the miserable

empire here and there, everywhere

Emptiness is the handsome prince of my

soul.

Artificial Sweetner

Oh yes Im guilty
For leasing myself out
Not ready to up for sale
Cant seem to give it up
Stubborn, so selfish
Im showing off the worst in me
The return of saturn
Assessing my life
Second guessing...
Im full of artificial sweetener
My hearts been deceitful
Its all artificial sweetener
Im faking I love yous
Youre forcing me to
You really deserve love
I want to love you
But I cant seem to find myself
My wilting effort
Our progress report
Im only sure that Im not sure
I shudder to be honest
Whos behind it all now?
Whos the author?
Im full of artificial sweetener
My hearts been deceitful
Its all artificial sweetener
Im faking I love yous
Youre forcing me to
Re-read, re-write, redo, undo
Im stuck on this page
I was born two weeks late
Is that why I hesitate?
Im on the fence
Push me off it
I want to be on your side now
And keep a promise
Im full of artificial sweetener
My hearts been deceitful
Its all artificial sweetener
My hearts been deceitful
Im faking I love yous
Youre forcing me to

In Your Wildest Dream

Oh baby, oh baby
The sun goes down and the moon comes up
My heart is pumping for you, and the mad thing starts yeah
Ohho..yeah, never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling
never in your wildest dreams, oh no
never in your wildest dreams could it ever be this easy,
never in your wildest dreams, oh no
Oh baby, oh baby
The night is hot outside your window
I hear people walking, people talking
I smell your skin, I feel you breathing
don't let me go, not yet, not yet, not yet
Ohho..yeah, never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling
never in your wildest dreams, oh..oh
never in your wildest dreams did it ever get this easy,
never in your wildest dreams, oh
Oh baby, oh baby
The world is slowly turning,
as it turns I see your face, touch your eyes, your lips, space space
We've arrived at the place where they open the hearts
and fill them up with love, filled with love, filled with love
This one's pumping for you, as the mad thing starts
Never in your wild, never in your wild, ...ohh
never in your wildest dreams
Never in your wild, never in your wild, ...ohh
never in your wildest dreams
never in your wildest dreams
did you ever get this feeling
never in your wildest dreams, oh no
never in your wildest dreams did it ever feel this easy,

Erotomania-A Delusion of Love

A moth or an innocent boy
Or incessantly talking toy
Caught helplessly
In a nature’s ploy:
Thought flame loves me
Thought dame thinks of me
Thought ma’am cares for me.
All the while
The flame
with a flickering smile
burning in a opaque
lamp of guile
with a global
all devouring vision
and feeding with oil of treason
Saw a moth adamant on
self sacrificing mission

The hypnotized moth
went near
a flame with glee
and made love making
earnest plea
And the cunning flame
Gladly reply
Yeah.

Flame knew moth had
Erotomania- A delusion of love
Soon he would be devoured
As hyena devours dove

Then,
Alluring flame-an enticing threat
Beckoned him for a embraced great
Then licking the moth with
A tongue of death
She sucked away
His laboring breath.

Lo! Comes
One more moth
on the trot,
Attired in a martyr’s coat,
Burning in a heartrending
passions hot,
Bubbling like a
love stewed broth;
Trying to cross
A death filled moat
In a love tiled
porous boat,
While vainly trying
to remain afloat

The hypnotized moth
went near
the flame with glee
and made love making's
earnest plea
And the cunning flame
Gladly reply
Yeah!

Death

I see the monster wake up with rage
and we feed
our enemies to it.

Bullets and bombs and guns
answer its call
and even some of us fall under its spell.

The monster blows fire
and havoc and shock everywhere
and some wounded beg for it to come.

The innocent suffer the most
and hope for it to pass by
and I hear woman and babies cry.

I do not die,
but that monster kills something
deep in me

and I will never be free
from the impact
that the monster’s tracts leave.
