Imperfectly Sane
The worlds painted in so many different tones
The skin doesn't fit these changing bones
You're on your feet but feel like you're kneeling
Do you know that awful feeling?
You see what they are, how they act
And you think 'that's what I lacked'
So you try to mould into their life
Cut old habits with that cold knife
But still you feel like you're not quite there
Like you're the only on that breathes this air
And you feel imperfect, you feel so lost
So you destroy your heart to pay that cost
You find things easy now you have their dreams
And everything is so perfect or so it seems
But you don't care for different anymore
Without a thought you abide the law
Once you thought you weren't here
And now you found that you were so near
To finding that completely correct way
The perfection that you looked for everyday
You were so close but now so very far
Because now you have the same scar
You gave your heart to be the same
Now you realise you were the only one sane

The way i feel about you
what can i say?
everything i've thought i lost,
i found in you,
you were everything i never thought i would find,
and when i did,
your heart was for somebody else,
i wouldn't say i was a fool,
just because i fell for you,
i mean, who wouldn't,
you seem to be everything,
a girl only dreams of,
a guy who knows how to treat a girl,
a guy who makes a girl feel special,
i would be lying if i tell you i feel nothing,
but, i remain quiet about how i feel,
afraid you won't feel the same way,
in my heart,
you are the one i'm falling for,
in my mind,
you are the one i think about,
i found the girl i thought i've lost,
when you came into my life,
maybe you were a gift from god,
who knows?
i just know the way i'm feeling,
is true.

Sometimes I Feel
Sometimes I feel as if I am falling.
Sometimes I feel as if the world around me never stops spinning
Sometimes I feel like giving up and letting everything go
Sometimes I feel like a puppet in a show
Sometimes I feel like I should just scream
Sometimes I feel like life is nothing but a dream
Sometimes I feel as if I’m only fake
Sometimes I feel like even when I sleep I’m still awake
The dream the seems to hold me ever so tight
Being in the ever so warm sunlight
All the many things I seem to see
Can this be it, can this be the real me?
The darkness seems to fade away
I’m left shocked with nothing to say
Sometimes I feel as if I will never understand
Sometimes I feel as someone is holding my hand
Sometimes I feel completely crazy
Sometimes I feel ever so lazy
Sometimes I feel as if I lost it all
Sometimes I feel like they let me fall
Sometimes I feel as if I did so wrong
Sometimes I feel ever so strong
I know now that people really do care
I also know life isn’t always fair
There will always be so memories in my heart
Even if some seem to rip it apart
Love doesn’t always have to lead to hate
I know that I can make things better its not to late
Sometime I feel like I should just hide
Sometimes I feel to afraid to take a step outside
Sometimes I feel like just getting up to sing
Sometimes I feel like I can do anything
Sometimes I feel as all anyone can do is lie
Sometimes I feel ever so shy
Sometimes I feel happy and sad
Sometimes I feel ever so mad
I love playing in the rain
I can be strong but yet In a lot of pain
I’m not perfect nor do I want to be
I am content just being me

60 Miles Per Hour
How does it feel to treat me like you do?
When you've laid your hands upon me and told me who you are.
I thought I was mistaken, I thought I heard your words.
Tell me how do I feel. Tell me now, how do I feel.
Those who came before me lived through their vocations
from the past until completion, they'll turn away no more.
And still I find it so hard to say what I need to say.
But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me just how I should feel today.
I see a ship in the harbor. I can and shall obey.
But if it wasn't for your misfortune, I'd be a heavenly person today.
And I thought I was mistaken, and I thought I heard you speak
Tell me, how do I feel. Tell me now, how should I feel.
Now I stand here waiting...
I thought I told you to leave me when I walked down to the beach.
Tell me how does it feel, when your heart grows cold, grows cold, cold.

Follow The Leader
She walks down the sidewalk wondering
Lost in thought as the cars they pass her by
Wondering whose life this is and why
All of the things she had moved on
Theres things she cannot quite understand
Theyre so happy following tradition
And she just cant
Lungs are breathing, heart is pumping
This means shes alive but they say
Somethings wrong with her feeling this way
Afraid to find years(? ), come out and see
Those same people following her lead
Hoping that what she has is now what they all need
When she looks at them now she just smiles
As mis-led souls trample untold miles
When if they just followed their hearts they could be
Gifted for the rest of their trials
Lungs are breathing, heart is pumping
This means shes alive but they say
Somethings wrong with her feeling this way
Can you feel it, can you feel it
Can you feel it, can you feel it
Can you feel it, can you feel, feel it
Can you feel anything, can you feel anything at all

The Sociopath (3)
I think there’s something wrong with me.
I throw my hand into fire yet I do not feel,
Why won’t my skin burn and peel?
There’s no fire left in my life.
The cold wraps around me as an old friend,
One that I’ve never had,
I realise it should feel bad,
But I feel nothing.
I hear a joke and attempt laughter,
But I don’t find anything funny,
I used to find life as sweet as honey,
Now it’s bitterer then vinegar.
There’s nothing left and I wonder what’s wrong,
My life has no passion like it did before,
I am alone and I care not what’s in store,
It hardly even matters,
It doesn’t matter a bit,
It doesn’t matter at all.

I'm Not Perfect
I'm (x8)
Had we met at a different time we'd be perfect for each other,
Now were spending all our time, in this world come together,
My heart is aching, from all the love your giving,
Were not faking, is this the life were living?
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
More and more we are together, tryin to discover,
I see a flicker in your eye, are you lookin for somethin better?
You once told me lying on the ground, but keep goin up and down, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Why waste it thinkin about it? taste it,
Don't waste it thinkin about it, taste it,
It really doesn't matter wherever i may go,
We're tied together, that's one thing we both know, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, now i'm right on time,

Life Is Sweet
It’s graduation night
and something doesn’t feel right
My friends and I are moving on
Everyone is up and gone
My childhood has slipped away
It left without anything to say
This doesn’t feel how I thought it would
Not as happy as I should be….
Is this my life slipping through my fingers
The smell of my childhood still lingers
And I’m feeling scared and alone
Everything I’ve known is close to gone
Now It’s my fourth year of college
Gotten through four years of knowledge
Lost some friends and made some new
Learned some things I thought I knew
Drank too much and studied less
Thought I’d break under all the stress
And now it’s coming to an end
I’m on the road, here comes a bend..
Is this my life slipping through my fingers
The smell of college bars still lingers
And I’m feeling scared and alone
Everything I’ve known is close to gone
This is it, this is my life changing
Everything I’ve ever known is rearranging
Can’t stop it now, won’t even try
Nothing I can do, no need to cry..
And now It’s been ten years
All the work and all the tears
Have paid off in the end
I met a man who’s my best friend
Tied the knot in the fall
Watched our baby learn to crawl
And now my life feels so complete
Life is just so sweet…

There are Things we Miss
There are things we miss
by some strike of misfortune
time slips through our feeble grasp.
I am still young and finding
new things in my life.
But they are not what I want
I want...
Passion
Compassion
To have my heart race without making it
and to sweat and have my mind grow blank.
To go numb and feel weightless
even though my feet are planted to the ground.
To have the full knowledge of knowing that I’m wanted.
I have been losing this sense for a while now
I feel untouched and alone
as everyone moves around me.
Like a stone on a beach I was placed
among many others all different shapes, sizes and colors.
I was placed with a thought, with a dream that
I might have a purpose.
I will sit and wait like the other stones
until opportunity comes.
I found my opportunity,
but it’s moving slowly.
Towards me or away I can’t tell,
but I can’t wait
No longer will I wait
I need to move
I need to act.
Time will not be merciful just for me
only because I decided to change the preset course.
There is a girl waiting for me
She must know how I feel.
May the sea guide me.
Or someone throw me.
Just get me close enough so I can let her know
I want to hold her.
Squeeze her tight,
keep her safe and warm.
Either on a couch on a cold autumn’s night.
Or in a meadow with the sun warming our skin.
It doesn’t matter
I want to experience being known
being found.
To fully know that I’m cared about.
To have a sense of being where I belong.
It could be in those simple seconds,
or stretched periods that equal a life time.
I want the feeling that I never had
only ever imagined in the deepest, strongest
place in my mind.

Warmth Again
Icy heart
Warm heart.
The icy-hearted person feels nothing,
The warm-hearted person feels too much.
And most of the time, that person doesn't want to feel anymore.
I've an ice-cold heart, but I'm warm-hearted.
Why do I feel so cold?
I'm fifteen years old, but I feel like an old lady.
Why do I feel so old?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Why can't I feel warm again?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Why can't someone warm me up again?
Fifteen.
Back problems, foot problems, heart problems and more!
Asthma problems, leg problems, chest pain galore!
Help me out of this wreck of a body, kind sir...
Help me out of this wreck of a body, kind
Sir!
I'm fifteen years old, but I feel like an old lady.
Why do I feel so old?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Why can't I feel young again?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Can you make me feel myself again?
Dear Great One, please help me
Down here on Earth, sitting here I wait
to feel like myself again.
I've an ice-cold heart, but I'm warm-hearted.
Why do I feel so cold?
I'm fifteen years old, but I feel like an old lady.
Why do I feel so old?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Why can't I feel warm again?
Why can't I feel young again?
Cold heart,
Old heart,
Why can't someone warm me up again?
Can you make me myself again?
Maybe someday...I'll feel myself again.

Mothers Dream
Im flipping through these pages
Me memory seems jaded
A lots been lost since my mothers dream
But these sudden flashing colors
Close my eyes
Only seven
Full of life
Feel my heart its aching over
Feel my heart its aching over
And i
I remember being young
Seventeen
Yes youd come to my house
Wont you tell me the things that Id done to you this time
Never in my life did I feel so unsheltered
In my mind I could feel youre nothing
Good for nothing
As you told me
Yes you told me how hard I tried
Oh these broken bones
You carry me home
My mothers dreams
She called it
My mothers dreams
She called it
Yes my age
Has turned in my direction
Cold and lonely resurrection
Lies they told me why Im lost within your soul
But Ive worn all those patches in my dreams
Always broken at the seams
Wont you help me
Wont you help me
Oh no angel

Have Faith In Thy Self
Do you ever feel lost and forlorn?
In a world that seems to be
For ever telling you who you are
And were you're from
Do you ever feel lost when?
Loved ones and friends
Live so close to your heart
But in reality so far apart
Do you ever feel lost?
When you think you have lost
The love of your life
Have you ever felt crushed?
At the thought that you will
No longer be with he that loves you
And only you from the heart
Smile at your inner strength
Take a stand for your beliefs
Accept in your heart who you are
And were you plan to go in life
If lost you will find
If loved left you will re-unite
No matter when or where
Love stands for all who believes
Shine for the moment
Live and breathe what you know
Is love for ever in your heart?

Face Up
Ever since Ive seen your face
This life of mine has gone to waste
I was young and you were old
And I always knew you were cold
At the start you had a heart
But in the end you lost your friend
Can you see your own dark face?
Its dieing in a lonely place
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
As we get old, we lose our place
Reflecting back the worlds disgrace
I feel so low, I feel so humble
Sometimes in life we take a tumble
Dont let anybody tell you that youre no good
Cause you know they would
Dont let anybody tell you what you should do
Cause its not that way and...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
You were me and I was you
This world of ours it felt brand new
You took me a little further...
I heard it all before, Ive heard it all before
I cant hear it anymore
Your hair was long, your eyes was blue
Guess what Im gonna do to you
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure...

I Feel You
I Feel You
(written by Tom Hensley, Sam Cole)
When the stars go down
And nobody else is around,
I feel you. I feel you.
As I look in your eyes,
Suddenly I realize
How you heal me. You heal me.
My way of giving back
All that you've given me
Is share my life with you
So it will always be.
When we're far apart,
I can reach way down deep in my heart,
And I feel you.
If the night is cold
And I need someone that I can hold,
I feel you.
My way of giving back
All you've given me
Is share my life with you
So it will always be.
I feel you; I feel you.
And if you ever wonder,
Someone right here
Will understand how you feel.
When the lights are low
And I'm looking for somewhere to go,
I feel you. I feel you.
What I seem to know
Is the feeling wherever I go
That you feel me.
I feel you.
I feel you.

When I'm With You
Vs.1 No one knows just how I feel.
I never thought this could be real.
But you've proved me wrong, you see.
I know that you're perfect for me.
(chorus)
There's no one else that makes me feel this way.
No one else that believes in what I say.
Only you can understand the way I think.
My heart can't sink when I'm with you.
Vs.2 Everyday I seem to think about
What my life would be like without
You right there by my side.
Boy, when you're with me I feel alive.
(chorus)
(instrumental-piano)
Bridge: No more heartbreak, no more fear.
No more worries with you here.
I know that you won't cause me harm.
I feel safe when I'm in your arms.
(chorus) x 2
Yeah, only you can understand the way I think,
And I know my heart will never sink.. When I'm with you. :)

Found, Lost and found
I lost a feeling
that I had found
How do I describe?
I've looked everywhere
So easy to feel
So hard to lose
When I had it last
I kept it near
One day, the feeling
for me did, disappear
....sadly, happily, in time
I found a feeling
that I had lost
How do I describe my joy?
I feel it everywhere
A feeling to say
Of one to hear
When I lost it last
I had it near
Today, I found in me
'The Feeling' I lost,
was always there

Your Touch
How I long to feel your touch.
It would mean so very much.
The thought of your body next to mine,
makes my heart ache so I begin crying.
You mean so much you make me shake,
the feel of your skin makes the earth quake.
I want you near so close to me.
If only things weren't so,
we could be.
I hope we'll be able to set ourselves free.
Your touch will make my world complete.
So finally I'll have you close to me,
for your touch is what I really need.

His Call
That evening
I sat down to write
My very last mail
To him.
And while I was writing
I could feel
My aching heart
Throbbing so loud
I could hear
Every beat of it
Pulsating with pain.
And still I kept writing
My very last mail
To him.
Though my eyes
Felt blurred
With all the tears
That rushed asunder
Streaming through my cheeks
And yet I brushed them aside
And wrote
My very last mail to him.
And when I had done
All the writing
I took a long, last look
At that letter of mine
Re-reading every word of it
That I had written to him
With all my heart...
Those precious moments
Were so endearing to me
For I felt that
Once this mail goes
I won't be able to
Write to him anymore
No more of those
Diary mails of mine
I used to write to him
Everyday.
For I had made a Promise
Never to go back
To him.
And that promise I had made
To him and to myself
With all the pain
And the agony
That had shrouded me.
Yes - that promise has stayed Intact
And I would abide by it.
And I haven't faltered...
Though my tender heart feels
So very Bruised.
And even though
The other day
He called me up
And I heard
His broken voice
Over the phone
Saying that
He had read my mail
Explaining himself
How he was...
How very dear to him
I have been
How very close
To his heart.
I just listened
And yet his garble of words
Were beyond me now
And more than his voice
His words of care
I could hear -
The waves of silence
That had engulfed me.
He did all the talking
And I -
All the listening...
And yet,
Today - when I look back
I don't feel like going back
To him anymore.
And I know he might call again
Asking me if I am cross.
In life's such delicate
Situations -
Being angry doesn't help
So why should I be?
It is just that
I don't feel like
Writing to him anymore
The pain is just too much
And so are the scars of the past
Like scabs on the skin
Bleeding every now and then.
And so that was my last mail
My very last mail to him
And his call for a truce
I had to choose...
Truce with him
Or truce with my silence.
And I looked back
At all the hard times
He had given me -
All the pain of the past years
That kept reverberating inside
Like the Tinnitus of being Deaf.
And I thought
I would call it a truce
A truce of realisation
A truce of acceptance
No - not with him.
But - A Lifetime's Truce
With me and my Destiny.
