Ghost of who?
These words wrap themselves around my throat
Barbed wire grows and they nurse a poisoned coat
Simple words that my mind cannot, will not allow
Make my eyes bleed dark and my head bow
These syllables, letters, rhythms and vowels
Around my blackened soul they now prowl
I know that these sounds are what hurt the most
But I beg you to see, these are the words of a ghost
They care not what has past, how many have left
Nor do they see what they do as an attack, a theft
But surly you understand the pain I now feel
Because of their shallow vengeance my mind reels
Why can't you see just what they have done to me!
I try my best to dispel their dagger hopes to be free
But somewhere deep down I know it's only a matter of time
Before they break down my defences and cross that line
Irony has the best ways to break ones entire being
It wasn't the ghost that I host that had me fleeing
It was the spectre that I fell so foolishly in love with
Now I have no qualms with giving my soul to let you live

Cant Take My Soul
The weathers getting cold
But its ninety degrees outside
It feels like Im driving so slow
But this old ford is cruising ninety-five
I thought I could hear your cold words
After all, they were just words
I thought I could see your sad eyes
After all, eyes wont lie
I thought that I could just take this hatred in
Let it back out and see love again
But know Im giving up
But Im never giving in
So you can take my life
And you can keep this heart
But you never can take my soul
No never can take my soul
It feels so good like Im laughing
But theres these tears running down my face
I dry my eyes to see the sun rise
Only to find its set, its too late
So I sit there and listen to you scream
After all, I never would
But I cry before I go to sleep
After all, I knew I wasnt what I should be
I thought that I should just take this hatred in
Let it back out and see love again
But now Im giving up
But Im never giving in
So you can take my life
You can keep this heart
But you never can take my soul
No never can take my soul
I tried to say goodbye yesterday
But we ended up in bed instead
*(I dont understand this entire line)
But I couldnt, had to turn away, turn my head
Give me the strength to let you go
After all, I never could
*(I dont understand this entire line)
After all, I knew I wasnt what I should be
I thought that I should just take this hatred in
Let it back out and see love again
But know Im giving up
But Im never giving in
You can take my life, you can have this heart
*(dont understand this entire line)
You can have all my hands, my feet and my head
And all of those good things I did everywhere
But you never can take my soul
Youd think that you could posses
All of my looks, all of my prettiness
All of my feelings and my lovings too
But dont you know that you were the fool
But you never can take my soul
No never can take...
Cant take my soul.

The Line
Sometimes a line comes along,
From nowhere, or
Anywhere, or
Everywhere;
It's just there
Going into your head,
Like the blueprint of your soul
Has been read.
And it is good -so good- to you.
You feel you must share it
With the entire world, through and through.
So you work and you try
To find a way
With wise words
This line to say;
Wrestle with your intellect
As you might,
Work on it
Day and night.
Still, the written words just are not there;
And, you begin to wonder does it matter?
Would anyone, anyhow truly care?
So, you put it away
In the darkness of the mind,
Out of touch
And out of time.
The moments and seasons
Drift ever along,
To here and to there
On and on.
As life has a way of pounding
And dragging with a mix of wonder and drear,
Day unto day
Year after year;
Season upon season...
Until, for some unseen reason
You one day come to realize
It's still there...
In your soul, somewhere.
That beautiful old verse
From way back when,
So you seek it out
Once again.
Ponder and ponder through the mind
Search and search, look and look
Until you find
The nearly forgotten words
Of this fantastic old line.
When once more thought
It still lays open the soul so bare,
And gives cause again to wonder
Now, would-could anyone care?
Yet, with age comes shifting perspective
Thereby giving cause to think:
Does it truly matter anymore?
For is that- was that ever-
What the line
Was given for?
Soon your spirit soars
Whistling, to yourself, the old familiar score,
A time... or two...
As here again it has its mystic effect upon you,
Its movement, its passion
Its wonderful sense of sweet satisfaction;
The places it takes you
In your heart and mind,
Way back and way forward
Throughout all time.
As if a precious gift
Given for none other,
Your spirit alone to uplift
Like the tender note of a fantastic old lover.
Therefore you become quite aware
Even if no one else ever cares,
The line was never meant for the world.
Rather, all along
It's meaning to be known,
Was always and only...
For you alone.
It was only with you
Who could truly for it care,
That God did so, the line
Desire to share.

Dark writing....
Dark shadows sneak under the door
As I keep writing these dark lyrics more
Of a nature that's not evil or unkind
Rather of disturbing thoughts in my mind.
They say for everything bad it's found
Something good it has to come around
The weather wouldn't be pleasant if wasn't for the rain
These feelings wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the pain.
I'm doing a storm in a cup of water to prepare
Meanwhile around people don't even care
I pray for my life to not end before these stanzas
But mindlessly I write and write looking for the answers.
My cold dark poems are everywhere
Floating around in the midnight air
Listen, closely you have no choice
These dark words, my deep voice.
Where the world is falling apart,
There lies a dark poem of the heart
Dark poems tell the darkest lines
They make you hear their shrieking cries.
Hold dearly onto your ravaged soul;
Don't find you've let life take its toll
Youll find my dark poems are everywhere
Read them, like them, if you dare….
I am the shadow hiding in the dark
The evil sounds that wake you in the night
I'm a shadow lurking in the dark
Because still it always feels so right
So I write my shadowy poems line by line
But I'm constantly over looked
My brain is fried down to the spine
And my broken heart is cooked
I'm left only with part of a heart
That will never again beat
I'm the one person
No one has to meet
I am a shadow lurking in the dark
Writing my poems so deep
Whispering my words so stark
Pray your soul to keep…

Ghost Behind My Eyes
There is person living in my head
She comes to visit every night in bed
I fight the demon, but it just wont fall
The voices in my dungeon starting to call
The spiders dancing on the wall
Suicide of love we could have had it all
And it is you, you are the ghost behind my eyes
The ghost that tells me lies
The princess of the dark has made my mind home
My haunted head and her wont leave me alone
She dances on my heart with fire in my soul
I hate that feeling when Im loosing control
The spiders dancing on the wall
Suicide of love we could have had it all
And it is you, you are the ghost behind my eyes
The ghost that tells me lies
I wish to God that I could sleep
Again, oh peace again
And wake up from this nightmare
Free again
Free again, oh me again
There is a woman in my head
She comes to visit every night in bed
The spiders dancing on the wall
Suicide of love we could have had it all
And it is you, you are the ghost behind my eyes
You, you are the ghost behind my eyes
You, you are the ghost behind my eyes
Behind my eyes
The ghost behind my eyes

Pain To Fake A Smile
I told you i didnt care
and tried to fake a smile
like when you faked loving me
but this time i tried my hardest
not to let you see my pain
it was written in my eyes
as i glared at you
trying to hold my tears back
but when i left the next morning
i could feel cold wet tears running down my cheeks
and falling like rain
i thought about you
wundering if you ever cared
i realized you dodnt when you disapeared
i felt my heart drop
it shattared and hurt so bad
i hured your voice in my head
as if you were beside me
your words surounded me and haunted me like a ghoste
i saw you in my head and all around me
i closed my eyes and there you were
is there no escaping you?
your hold on me is like barb wire chain
when i move and try to escape
they cut my skin open softly but deeply
i dont know how you can just watch me bleed
my pain is not self inflickted
but it hurts just the same
why did you use me and break my heart?
thank you now my heart fell apart

Pretty Words
Ive seen the way he cast his spell
Hes gonna hurt you I can tell
Just to prove that he can be your lover
Hes gonna turn on that charm
Tonight hell wrap you in his arms
Tomrrow he will leave you for another
Pretty is as pretty does
Thats how it is and always was
Pretty words are all hes givin you
And when he whispers int he dark
Watch out hes gonna break your heart
cause pretty words wont make your dreams come true
Theyre just pretty words
Just pretty words
In the morning you will find
That you were just the next in line
Theres nothing I can do thats gonna stop you
Before you go just let me say
Id never treat your love that way
Ill be here long after hes forgot you
Pretty is as pretty does
Thats how it is and always was
Pretty words are all hes givin you
And when he whispers int he dark
Watch out hes gonna break your heart
cause pretty words wont make your dreams come true
Theyre just pretty words
Just pretty words

Stories Of Hope Series #6 Three Words
There wasn’t anything left, except a ray of hope
That ray of hope was so strong that it took control of me.
So strong that my eyes would not see.
Hope is the foundation of the human race
Hope is the foundation that can never be replaced.
Hope can be as strong as love, for it is given to us from above.
I found out something which I always knew
That where there is hope, faith follows too.
And with the faith then comes love
And it fills your heart like nothing you’ve ever felt before.
It pounds in your chest like the waves against the shores.
You feel the goose bumps travel
from your head to your toes.
And that is when those three words show.
Those three special words that are
Imbedded in our hearts and soul.
Those three words can be taken
whichever way you like.
The father, the son, the holy ghost
Hope comes with the father
Faith comes with the son
Love comes with the holy ghost
And all these simply say to
The LORD up above
I LOVE YOU.
So which three do you choose?
And if you don’t choose any, then you lose.

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

New Talents
Tracing my past,
Looking for my identity;
Walking into my mind,
Learning from others,
Living through life,
Writing for others
With my hopes and my dreams!
But, others want to see me in person.
This is my muse and this is my home,
Others want to understand my mind;
But, this world is like that at times!
With me walking into my mind to set the pace,
But, this race is not yet over.
Heading towards you,
With my mind as the keyboard for you to type your words;
But, my identity is what the people are asking for! !
However, i am who i am in a land on the West Coast of Africa.
Wars! ! Why are they killing each other?
Who created us?
Then, you can answer yourselves on this simple matter;
Because, we need peace everywhere on this earth than war!
This is my muse of love,
With words from my mind to lead you on;
This is my muse of care,
With words from my inner self to educate you;
However, new talents are born everyday into this world.

I Like To Think That All These Are But A Game Of Words
that is the impression from the beginning
when i started to scribble
word, and more words, i assured her that they do not
mean anything at all just
words, and words and more words
that even a sunflower wilting and spreading all the seed on her feet
are nothing too but words and more words
nothing to grow nothing to expect like a sprouting something
thus my loneliness, i again assure here, is nothing but a word
my way of taking solitude on the other side to save myself
is another word, and she of course, did not believe me saying
there is more to these words, there is fire in them and i see you burning
there is the sun inside them and the letters glow and the
there is smoke rising from the heads of vowels
from the nonspeaking consonants
i keep hiding the flowers
i bury those that are alive in the silence of my pretensions
until one day she grips me like she is a knife wanting to stab me
and then she stabbed me right in my throat and there i bleed
words, words, and more words coming from the slit
bloody words, and she was convinced, until death, ... and then i vanish.

In This Bin
in this bin
i put
everything
pains, sorrows,
&
joys, happiness
my bin
and my own alone
like some mailbox
of my
emotions
this is a world
where
i am: open, close
mystery,
double talk
whisper
shout
angry, scream, howl,
wail,
this is where
i can be everything: a mocking bird, a werewolf, an angel,
devil,
crocodile, merman, worm, fish, butterfly
eagle
monkey, ghost, soul,
passionate body
fingers, hands, feet
lips
all the feelings and colors
of my mind
feel me, as i too feel you
what have i to gain
what have i to lose
you say, you think, words, words, and nothing but words,
no,
no,
do not reduce everything to simple terms of words
and letters
and syllables,
this is a field where i have sown the seeds of my self
and some flowers
begin to bloom here, and some fruits are ripe for the picking
i like you being the child who climbs
the tree where my fruits are sweet and ripe
i like you being the lady who comes along
and picks my flowers
i like you being the wind that helps my clouds
drift only to be alive
crossing the boundaries of space between
peaks of mountains
this is not a dustbin anymore, this is my house
this is my dwelling
there is a soft easy chair in my mind
a glass vase with a red rose
glazed with dew
like my tears, like my eyes that i am hiding
for you not to clearly see
this is not just a dustbin, this is now my home
come
come
come
make this your home, enter my door, follow me
in the labyrinths of my feelings
my hopes and dreams
come
come
come
take a seat, and have breakfast with
me
see the glass window opening to a view
of the pines and the green mountains
a little frost may blind us
but here we are, i have prepared you tea
and
sympathy and some stories about myself
listen, and be free, to tell your stories too,
the sun has just shone
and indeed, it is a very new day.

Let This One Poem Be About Me
Let this one poem be just about me
Let this one poem engulf all my beauty
Let this one poem define my soul
Let this one poem consume me whole
My soul was earth bound
And my heart lay in a place that it would never be found
Let this poem be what entangles my mind
Let this poem be where people will find
They will find that missing link
And this poem it will make them think
They will wonder how this girl came
They will wonder how I avoided fame
I didn’t write these words to please
I wrote these words to tease
My heart it’s the type that beckons for ease
And my taste will not accept the flavor of peas
Let this poem describe me in most simplest of ways
Let this poem show how I get through these days
And I know people will read this and say…
This girl she knew where heart lay…
Let this poem eat me whole
Let me entire heart bleed its luscious love into a broken bowl
My soul wanted only to be free
And this poem only pushed it back into me
I never will lose any part of my soul
Because then this world will swallow my inner being whole
Let this poem be what I hate
Let this poem describe with who I would mate
Let this thoughts become my ways
Let this poem be where I stray
Let this poem show how I lie
Let this poem describe how I will die
Yes I am human I cannot avoid death
Yes I am human I chose not to use meth
These words they dance upon this page
These words they have no age
These verses have lost all meaning
Because I revealed my demeaning
Let this poem describe what I deem right
Let this poem that I will always fight
My age floats through these words
And people will never understand why I want to be heard
Let this poem be only about me
Let this poem be what sets me free
And I know some day people will look at this and say…
This girl, this girl she knew exactly where her heart lay…

Live Wire
Plug me in
I'm alive tonight
Out on the streets again
Turn me on
I'm too hot to stop
Something you'll never forget
Take my fist
Break down walls
I'm on the top tonight
(pre-chorus)
No, no
You better turn me loose
You better set me free
Cause i'm hot, young, running free
A little bit better than i use to be.
(chorus)
Cause i'm alive
Live wire
Cause i'm alive
I'm a live wire
Cause i'm alive
Live wire
Cause i'm alive
I'm a live wire
I'll either break her face
Or take down her legs
Get my ways at will
Go for the throat
Never let loose
Goin' in for the kill
Take my fist
Break down walls
I'm on top tonight
(pre-chorus)(chorus)
Come on baby
Gotta play with me
Well i'm your live wire
You better lock your doors
I'm on the prowl tonight
Well be mine tonight
(chorus)
Come on be my baby
Come on tonight
Come on love me baby
Come on tonight
I'll give you everything
You want inside
Plug me in, plug me in
I want you
Come on tonight

Get this one thing striaght in your brain
Set yourself free and break that chain
A:break the chain, break it for me
Free your sprit, set your soul free
Break the chain, feel it in your hands

You gotta rearrange, stand up and make that change
cause if you dont, then you wont and you never gonna see the perfect life in reality
Can you see what I mean, can you hear I what I say
Can I break it ah yeah ( ah yeah ), yes I may
On a mission we go, sunshine or rain
Set yourself free but you gonna break that chain
A:break the chain, break it for me
Free your sprit, set your soul free
Break the chain, feel it in your hands
Break the chain so nothing can hold us back

Free your sprit, set your soul free
Break the chain, feel it in your hands
Break the chain so nothing can hold us back

The effect of words
Her words stung like a wasp
Their effect had me in a sad grasp
I never knew words hurt so much
Those words postulated a form of retouch
You see;
Words make you
Words break you
Words can set you free
Words can let you be
You see;
Words tend to hurt
When dished out carelessly without effort
The right choice of words can give hope
The wrong choice of words can take away hope
And make someone tie themselves with a rope
Words can make you love
Words can make you hate
Words can encourage
Or set you on a stormy rage
Words need to be sensitive
Words can be expensive
When constructively comprehensive
If you dismiss words saying they don't hurt
You are wrong my dear, so wrong
Then why do we have courts?
Saturated with overpriced lawyers
Confusing us with grammer
Abusing us with grammer
Reducing any chances of freedom if you stammer
As you stand before that vicious unpredictable hammer

Crucify Me; On The Edge Of Demonstration
If you've started to read this
Don't stop
This is a warning
Evil intent
Rest left to resonate
Falling, falling, hesitate
Did you ever stop to think
Think about the lies
The torment they create
The sacrificed for your mistakes
Who pays the cost for every one that you make
It's just to easy to produce
The drugs make the consumer
Consuming entities beyond belief
This whole place reeks now
I'm still not feeling so content
They've condemned me again
When free thinking was a crime
I didn't know it was so bad
Just to speak what's on your mind
I'm still smiling
Break me
Break me
I'm still smiling
And if your reading these words
Go tell all your friends
Yes I'm talking to you
It doesn't matter who 'I am'
Tell everyone you ever knew
Make me famous
Make me new
Relate to me
Make me you
Dance for me
You strung up puppets
Your the worst disease
When you don't even love yourselves
Bow your head
Follow the others
The sheep following the blind
Your all going to hell
Laughing at me
But your going to hell
I'm only here to see how far you go
Yeah, how far you go
Your going all the way
So put me on that cross
Yeah, put me on that chopping block
Do on to me what you want to do
Because no matter how much you hurt me
Gods punishment will make it exactly what it is
It's just your demonstration
It's just what you want done to yourselves
Do on to others;
What you want them to do on to you
Remember these words when in company of others;
For when the Lord takes back the earth
We shall be treated as we treated

The way I want you babe
Its embarrassing
I cant control myself
Its just too much for me
I cant concentrate
I dont know what to say
Except your name baby
The sweetest name
And when we kiss that kiss
Thats when it hits
With my heart and soul I say this
8 letters, 3 words, one meaning
In my heart
8 letters, 3 words, one feeling
When it starts
When you say my name
I begin to shake
I break out in a sweat
This is the best it gets
Theres nothing second rate
About this feeling babe
Its forever come what may
Its what I hope and pray yeah
And when we kiss that kiss
Thats when it hits
With my heart and soul I say this baby
8 letters, 3 words, one meaning
In my heart
8 letters, 3 words, one feeling
When it starts
8 letters, 3 words, one meaning
In my heart
8 letters, 3 words, one feeling
When it starts
Its understanding and its understood
And baby it sure feels good
8 letters, 3 words, one meaning
In my heart
8 letters, 3 words, one feeling
When it starts
And when we kiss that kiss
Thats when it hits
With my heart and soul I say this baby
8 letters, 3 words, one meaning
In my heart
8 letters, 3 words, one feeling
When it starts

Freedom
Though I cannot see the sun, I know that it’s still there.
The circumstances of this life, sometimes they are not fair.
People love and people hurt, and I have done the same.
The sadness of this paradox, there is always another to blame.
Another has shortcomings, no different than my own.
I can pinpoint exactly where another’s are, while mine remain unknown.
I hold a mirror to myself, the only thing I see.
The strengths that I bring to this world, my weaknesses cannot be.
My cycle continues, faster it spins, no longer in control.
My mind, my body, take my lead, they bury deep my soul.
I feel it in there, and it wants out, but it causes so much pain.
I ignore the part that will set me free, for I’m a slave to heart and brain.
My life gets worse, I can’t go on, and I live in my own hell.
And there I know I will remain, ‘til my soul can break its shell.
The shell with layers so deep and thick my body and mind have built.
In order to break this shell of mine, I must embrace my guilt.
The guilt of all my failures and the people I let down.
The character defects I embraced, when no one was around.
My reputation was my concern, my character I’d forsake.
But I’d have to switch this right around if my shell I was going to break.
So then began my journey, my journey deep within.
My guide became my savior; he freed me from my sin.
He told me I wasn’t who I became, but who our father made me to be.
This path of pain He led me down, it truly set me free.
I found this path not easy, but knew this path was right.
For the blind fool that I had become, became a wise man with great sight.
I know the one I’m grateful to, His love for me is great.
He turned me to the path of love, from the path of pain and hate.
I thank you Jesus, for your gift, for my spirit I did find.
You waited for me ‘til I was ready. You did not leave me behind.
For I was broken. I broke others too, but by my side you stayed.
For every debt that I incurred, you had already paid.
You made me understand it all. I now have sight to see.
I’m no longer a slave to body and mind. My soul is truly free!

is what my words are penned down upon
the will of wisdom
and the essence of freedom
to bounce like a king kong
on the ping pong
glad or sad, is from within each or any
stanza of my words
from the top of my head
to the deep end of the membrane under my melanin skin
to the sensory nerves of my brain
coiled upon an ancient pane
my words,
that which mirrors my sense of thought and feeling,
that with an ancestor
that which the blood of my people
was shed for; just so simple
but my words are royal
because ‘am loyal
like an induna
and vocal
to usher-in a focal
point of the meaning of my words.
my needs
and deeds
have a lord
on board
to code my words
and shield my soul from the imp’s sword.
my words are so very simple
to understand
and overstand
‘t was my words
that kept the birds
away from the heads
of my corn
for i was born
and sworn
to live a life upon
my words are so very easy to grasp
the fewer that discern
the nobler i become
I need not to wonder
and ponder
over yonder
for such is unknown to you
and therefore you have no knowledge of me
nor are you, about my words
yes! my words is what i like
to write
for i write
what i like
to strike
a balance between
the psyche
and the mic
such is my words,
the art of penning down what is from
the mind
and rewind
to remind
my words to decide
my words
such is my words,
the art of expression
against deception
but inception
and intersection
of my words
i now tell you that
my words are the words from the art
that which i chat
to match what my heart
tells me; roger that
the art of expressing the knack of expression; my words!
