You lead me so far away from my home
But with you I feel safe, no longer alone
I cant tell what makes me feel this way
Maybe it's the actions or just the words you say

I get lost along the way and you don't let me go
You watch me close, guiding me helping me heal so
I wont look back at what I have done because I know
I walked down some bad streets and I know it shows

These scars do more than mar my skin, so much more
They show others that I too have lost those I adore
I lost to their threats, destroyed my own escape
Didn't want to feel the fear until I knew it was too late

I was trapped in their web, withering away day after day
They saw me as nothing more than a slave, free pay
They searched for me but I know you covered our tracks
Not exactly legal but no one is a saint that's a fact

So when you opened my cage and told me to follow you
I couldn't believe that I could run away, it couldn't be true
But I put my fear behind me and fled from them, hand in hand
Following you when I lost sight, fleeing over sand, sea and land

Now we no longer run because we've found our new home
Found a new freedom and our own world to roam
Just you and me racing through the wooded world
Our feelings no longer passing completely unheard

I always used to be afraid
That I was going to lose my way
I never used to walk in line but stray
I never thought I'd see it through
That I could deal with losing you
But suddenly I see the light of day
Leading me in
From out of the night
Staying on course - I'm still alive
I had to confess I never thought I would ever survive

Focused on my altered state
I would just disorientate

Im an Angel Now

One night as I sat beneath the tree.
I cried to our dear Lord above.
I looked up in to the open sky & hoped he'd answer me.
Lord I'm lost, I've travelled far but still I seem to roam.
Please light the way and lead me back home.

I told him of my burdens.
And of the everlasting sadness in my hart.
That from his lost love I never felt so apart.
Why did you take my Grandad Lord?
I just can not comprehend why.
No longer can I touch his face or hold his hand.
His loving smile has gone.

I'm angry Lord.
I'm missing him like mad.
I am drowning in my griefe and sorrow.
Please help to heal my griefe.
It was then that I head his gentle voice.
And felt his presence near.
How I longed for him to stay.
As I cried another tear.

He said I'm an angel now.
My spirit is free.
I'm an angel in heaven.
So please don't cry for me.
I was choosen by our lord above and now I am in his care.
When you need me look inside your hart.
I promise to be there.
I am an angel now.
And no longer roam.

So if you can not find your way.
Or the road home seems to far.
Look to the sky I'll be your guiding star.

No more fear

No more fear of survival refuse to live in fear of myself any longer.

No more fear of never being respected or acknowledged by you for who I am.

I will not sarcoma to my fears any longer for I am stronger then I ever dreamed and I will no longer allow my fears to hold me in limbo.

No more screaming in silence or crying with no tears for the end of my silence is here.

No more putting myself through torture for I am ready to heal, my new growth is all around me and I am unsure of what I fear.

No more fear of not being loved for the people who loves themselves has any fear.

No more fear of the unknown for my eyes are wide open and the sky is very clear.

I will only place God Before me for I only exist with him and only he can set me free.

I had fear of being alone, then fear of what could be but I long to face the fears and it does not control me.

No more empty feelings for I know just where to go I will get on my knees, and ask God to bless my soul and take the fear away from me.

No more will I not be heard, if I need to yell or scream it I will say it the way I want but until I am treated right have a voice and I will not have fear of being heard.

No more will I not stand up for me or fear of what was meant to be, no more if being mislead, lost or even feel like I should be dead.

No more of this silly game will I play I love me and maybe you should do the same, I am that woman who has held a family together, who has made you only exit in my world and now no more.

Build Me Up A Wall

Build me up a wall on which to sit and watch the race.
Sit and watch it with me the illusion lost in faith.
Illusions of society breed when all are strangers here,
Lost in inner space hoping everyone will trust your fear.

Know they won’t just string you up for all that you believe,
Everything you hope for, a utopia of dreams.
Each of us to do what they wish, well I wish that you were here,
But then who would enjoy this island of my love, without this fear.

No one to make you wear belief upon your arm,
No one wishing you any pain, no wish to harm.
And the colours so vivid in liquid movements shift so that you cant see
The islands of the others, so close, so sit with me.

Maybe it’s not an ideal in which we can go follow to the sun
Maybe its an idea to which creations just begun.

Blurred through its illusion, of everything we feel,
Everything is lost here, in a time that’s gone surreal.
Everyone is running round, in circles in there mind,
could you draw the perfect circle? is there one to find?

Are we lost to ask and wonder why, yet never know?
Are we only part of an act, a circus., carnival freak show?
Each of us a freak, unique, it seems when we’re all alone,
Yet each of us finds spirit the same, ask your soul to take you home.

Take me from this place, I feel cold, I’m turning grey,
A shade is lost in black and white, there’s not much more to say,
My lips wont move anyone, at least for you to understand,
Just know I need your help, take me, walk with me hold my hand.

I’ll loose myself in everything you give to me each day,
All I know is everything’s lost in everyway,

(Rejection Poem) Angel Of Death

The blood is rushing through my veins.
Breaking free of the shackles and chains.
Being pulled away.
I want to stay but I must go.
Oh hell, no.
It wont happen.
I killed all the passion.
Its over.
Done, sorry but this game can never be won.

The angel of death has come.
Reaping those lost souls.
I got to just walk away.
Its no longer my mistake.
I must take control.
Pulling the reins trying to drive me insane.
Patience, is no longer in my best interest.
Just leave me alone.
Let me be calm.
Probably should get stoned.
A unending high in this life.
A dream being destroyed.
But I must let go.

I couldn't stay

I am dead now.
Becuase I couldn't stay.
I didn't know how.
In the end life lost it's shine.
My life never was to glow.
I didn't want to grow.

Everything I touch went wrong.

They'll be better off without me.

My mind is lost

A Pain to Clear to Me

I see the pain in this world
The pain of ages so far away
I see the pain of lives been twirled
The world's too much for them today
