The Power Of “no”

Proffered his love with ardor
Hoped she’d one day relent
She said “No, I’ll not barter”
A word he dare not circumvent

My Love Is As The Sky

My love is as a river; you, its course-
Follow its bank and discover its source-
Realize that its start is also its destination-
Its flow is divinely-proffered inspiration!

My love is as a mountain; you, its summit;
At its height, my soul is rarified, so as to numb it;
My mind is unclouded; my thoughts, unfettered;
My heart is enamored; my life, ever bettered.

My love is as the sky: beautiful and vast.
Such is the dream, such is my ardor;
Both are the same, as both thou hast-
Neither of which I could hope to barter;
Both of which seem so very sure to last-
Differentiation betwixt them, ever harder!

Examine the word “passion”
Defined, ardor: zeal, desire

Word that sets a heart afire

An echo for a novel dream

Holding a loss with great esteem
He lay asleep with old shadows
Circumvent not, new waken dream

Beneath the sun there lay a bream
Too much ardor for faithful ones
Holding a loss with great esteem

Once blue, now frozen stood a stream
A love withdrew when fall was young
Circumvent not, new waken dream

Each pebble thrown, love was the theme
All was the same, his morning breaths
Holding a loss with great esteem

Two souls conjoined, he was the seam
Her hasty fleet fluttered the wind
Circumvent not, new waken dream

Two childhoods known, both were extreme
Her love took side, and there stood time
Holding a loss with great esteem
Circumvent not, new waken dream

What Now My Love?

What now my love?
Now that we’re older
When days rush by
And nights get colder

What now my love?
You’re so far away
We had a our shot
I chose not to stay

What now my love?
Is this our last chance,
Dare we rekindle love?
Revisit romance?

What now my love...

Do Not Relent

Anything may come with the changing winds,
To affect the strength of your faith.
You may sense a relief by a brief weakening.
But do not relent.
Do not give up to consent.
Let nothing prevent you,
From those goals you pursue.
You have held onto them too long!
For all the right reasons!

Believe.
Remove your heart from your sleeve.
If you dare and you must.
And do what is needed!
But never give up to give in to doubt.
By a lingering distrust of your own decision.
Regrets have a way of resurfacing.

Too many have found that out.
To become subdued by indecision.
Keeping faith strong.
And kept as your weapon...
Will not fail.
No matter how many attempts it takes,
To do what pleases you...
That eventually gets done!

Do not relent.
Nor give in to consent,
To the luxury of self imposed failure...
You will someday resent!
Do not relent,
To anything that may come with the changing winds,
To affect the strength of your faith.
Keep that tested by the act of your purpose.
And do not relent.
Believe!

Without passion

I think and thought
i hoped and wished
i cried and mourned
i yelled and laughed
i screamed in excitement
then i realised it was passion.
Passion is strong
it is intense
it is a great feelin of emotion
love, hate, desire, enthusiasm, fondness, zeal, affection and ardor.
A man without passion is like a man without life.
Yes, i pride in myself, i have life because
i have passion,
i know love
i show affection
i know what it is to be fond of
i can give warmth
i am full of ardor.
Just when i was begining to be exalted by my feelings you came into my life,
i found you in my soul
then i knew what i claimed was passion, was nothing compared to what you gave me.
I came to realise that passion wasn't anything else but a woman. And not just any woman, it was you.
Then i remembered 'a man without passion is a man without life.Without you i'm incomplete, without passion i have no life
Now i can boast of passion of love of life.
Because i have you.

To Her, I Am Just 'Moe

To most, I am Maurice-but to her, I am just 'Moe';
To most, I must explain everything, but with her, we both just know
What the other is thinking, at any given time:
We could not live OUR dreams, until we were both prime!
With others, I am quite the enigma;
With others, she must face a perceived stigma
Attached by those, who know not, our ardor:
This is a posit, with which we care not, barter!
With others, the love needs further explication-
With others, there lives varied negative sentimentation-
Yet, with us, nary does there exist doubt;
Any that may linger, we cast it out!

Necessity...

silence is not quiet,
it shouts...
justice is not dormant,
it moves.
freedom is not a concept,
it must be lived.
equality is not hoped for,
it is realized.
love is not barter,
it is given....
the choice is not a choice,
it is necessity!

Her Dubiety, His Surety

'How may you covet me as you do-you do not know me, as you must?
Why then would you endue to me, all your love and trust?
You know me only from afar, and thus, always at my best-
How then, to your unceasing adoration, may you still attest?
You now only beg mine consort, and are not too used to it-
Might you not grow weary of same-or, perhaps bemused, through it?
With time's passage, surely your ardor shall wane-
Then, you shall need remind, of same-again and again! '

'My beloved, precious, Empyrean Proffer-
Today's adoration is but a pittance to what I shall offer;
As each dawn delivers upon us, a brand-new day,
You shall grow to learn: it is a love that is here to stay.
Naught that time may serve to teach us,
Shall have cause but for to allow more ardor, to reach us!
To me, your beautificence, is, and shall always remain, sans pareil-
Though my hearty brims with love for thee-all the while
More still shall there be, as time breeds more familiarity;
E'en you shall barter your doubt for this verity!
Serendipity allowedc that our love 'found us'-
To grow evermore, so that it may always astound us.
We shall never stand to take it for granted:
Time and consort shall always grow what He planted!
One day, your dubiety of today shall wither-
In its place, an astonished assurance shall remain thither.
Where there are now not words, to gather
Clarity to thine sentiment-soon, rather
Soon-the words of your heart's content
Shall be vocalized-as was His intent! '

Today... 'The Word

Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.

Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.

Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.

Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.

Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
Word of peace and the Word of righteousness
Word of the covenant and Word of love
Word of the Father from heaven above.

Looking For Love

Do i dare look for love
Are you sure its out there
where do i look where do go
Love can be a number of things
I believe love can be found in many forms
What kind of love are you searching for
The love that makes your heart skip a beat
Or the love of everything that is beautiful
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Love comes unexpectedly and leaves just as quickly
Lost love is very painful
No love is the same
Passionate love is the one we long for
The love for ones own child is forever
Love is giving love is taking
Can i find love waking down the street
I found love once but lost it where did i put it
Young love sweethearts embracing
Forbidden love do we dare some do
Is the word love used to loosely
Has the word lost all its meaning
Thank you i would love that piece of cake
Can one truly love someone forever
Yes love can be for ever
Sometime we fall in and out of love with same person
So don't look for love love will find you
Love leaves us breathless
Sometimes renders us helpless
But were would we be without love
wondering aimlessly

Speak The Word

Unsettled hearts
Promise what they cant deliver
Bring me the wine
And the cold night air to clear my head
Gray matter memory house
Master of this trembling flesh
Steady still my doubts
Let me speak the word that precedes bliss
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Love love love love love love love love
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Love love love love love love love love
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
These weakened knees
Have not touched ground or pew in ages
I havent bowed my head
I offer thanks to any God or to ask for favors
But watch me now
Im falling down
Praying
To speak the word that precedes bliss
To speak the word
To speak the word
Love love love love love love love love
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Love love love love love love love love
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word
Let me speak the word

As Much As Always

I hoped I wouldnt miss you long
But I still cant believe youre gone
And I still miss you just as much as always
I hoped Id get you off my mind
Its been a long time but I find
That I still think of you as much as always
As much as always, as much as always
Just as much as always
As much as always just as much as always
I still miss you, still think of you
Just as much as always, as much as always
Just as much as always
I still want you, still need you
Just as much as always
I hoped that Id find someone else
But theres too much of you still left
And I still love you , just as much as always
I hoped that Id forget your touch
But I still want it just as much
And I still need it just as much as always
As much as always, as much as always
Just as much as always
As much as always, just as much as always
I still miss you, still think of you
Just as much as always
As much as always, just as much as always
I still love you, oh I do love you
Just as much as always
As much as always, as much as always
I still love you, still want you, just as much as always
As much as always, just as much as always
I still need you still love you
Just as much as always

Hilaire Belloc

Because My Faltering Feet

Because my faltering feet may fail to dare
The first descendant of the steps of Hell
Give me the Word in time that triumphs there.
I too must pass into the misty hollow
Where all our living laughter stops: and hark!
The tiny stuffless voices of the dark
Have called me, called me, till I needs must follow:
Give me the Word and I'll attempt it well.

Say it's the little winking of an eye
Which in that issue is uncurtained quite;
A little sleep that helpsa moment by
Between the thin dawn and the large daylight.
Ah! tell me more than yet was hoped of men;
Swear that's true now, and I'll believe it then.

My Love's Thrall

As a zephyr, wandering to me from afar-
From my heart to reality you have flown!
Resplendent, my brilliant, omnilucent star-
Through all these years, you have shone!

At long last, you have come back to me-
I implore, take not e'er, your beauty away!
With constancy, my mind ruminates of thee,
Promising fidelity-my heart begs of your stay!

Wander now closer beauteous breeze,
Find in me, your strength, your ardor;
Your bountiful heart too, I shall appease-
Each, for the other, a harmonious barter!

Most magnificent and lasting of them all,
Enraptured am I, in my love's thrall!
