Rumi Spoke To Me
He came at twilight
Whispered wise words
I failed to heed them
This rueful acolyte

Failure
As we roamed under the star spangled sky,
Sharing many a trivial thought
I failed to voice my clandestine whim
Carefully structured within my mind's alcove
When words got suddenly broken up
With a lump forming in my throat
I failed to convey what I meant
In a language explicit for you to grasp
Gazing at each other, as we stood
Without uttering a word aloud
You failed to notice my saddened eyes
Glistening with tears, about to shed
At the end of a pleasant united jaunt
As our roads diverged in opposite tracks
We failed to say even a parting word
As a gesture of courtesy, due for both
Now in the twilight of the setting sun
When the past has dwindled slowly away
We remain in our own cloistered cells
Failing to forget what has transpired.

Jeane
Jeane
The low-life has lost its appeal
And i'm tired of walking these streets
To a room with its cupboards bare
Jeane
I'm not sure what happiness means
But i look in your eyes
And i know
Oh ...
That it isn't there
Oh, we tried, and we failed
Oh, we tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried
Oh, jeane
There's ice on the sink where we bathe
So how can you call this a home
When you know it's a grave ?
Yet you still have that greedy grace
As you tidy the place
But it will never be clean
Jeane
We tried and we failed
We tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
And we tried
Oh ...
Cash on the nail
It's just a fairytale
Oh ...
And i don't believe in magic anymore
Jeane
But i think you know
I really think you know
Oh ...
Oh yes, i think you know the truth
Jeane
Oh ...
No heavenly choirs
Not for me and not for you
Because i think you know
I really think you know
Oh ...
I think you know the truth
Oh, jeane
We tried, and we failed
We tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried

White Rose And Red
WHITE rose sighed in the morn,
Red rose laughed in the noon,
And 'Sweetest sweetness is ended soon,'
And 'Never heed for the thorn.'
'Love's hour passes away,'
White rose breathed in my ear;
Red rose whispered 'No need to fear;
The day is enough for day.'
Shall I heed white or red?
Shall I heed both aright?
Sighing and laughing, red and white,
'Tis 'Love her' they both have said.

Heed My Words All You People
Heed my words all you people,
For what is needed by the mouse is now being eaten up by the cat!
But i have my mond on you always.
Heed my words all you people and learn from them,
For what is sweet in the land of Libya is now sour!
But i have my mind on you always.

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

Early Works - Take Heed
Take heed ole wayfaring stranger
take heed to disaster cometh,
the stars are blind to morals,
as morals are blind to life.
Take heed ole saintly fool
take heed in your wooden ship,
the sea has crushed many a man
as many a man has crushed life.
Take heed, take heed
hear what I say
there goes no tomorrow
only borrowed today.

Jessica The Racist Beauty Model
You speak words
Words that pun a knife on the heart
You speak words
Words that destroy unity
You speak words
Words that kill the black generation
I sit and wonder
How proud your ancestors will be of you
that you have once again
Reflected the true hate that boils
In the blood veins of your family
But how cruel,
Because you re-declare a war
That you already defeated already
How disgusting of you
Travelling the world
With pride that you represent
The rainbow nation
But then you intimidate your country
And insult your publicity
All with just a single word
That signify racism to black african generation
And today
You have demoted your dignity
You have failed you success
And you shall never ever in my heart
Be a proud South African
And never will give you the respect you deserve
I know you do not care,
But just like you!
In that way I opt to make my ancestore very happy,
You failed
Yes! You failed South Africa

Letters I Didn't Write
I wish you could have read…
The Letters
that I failed to write
I wish you could have felt the touch…
Of hands that failed to
reach out at night
Would’ve liked for you
to have heard…
Words I couldn’t say
Would’ve liked to have felt
The emotions missed…
When I failed to ask you to stay
What you didn’t feel…
When you didn’t hear …
The words I didn’t say
I wish you could have
At least…Felt the love
That you didn’t feel that day
I wish you could’ve known …
The feelings
that I didn’t show
The words I couldn’t bring to light
And tell you
Long ago
I wish somehow,
you could know now
Of things you knew not then
Of words I didn’t say or write
Of touch, or love
Of things... that might have been

Anthem For Christmas
Words: gloria gaither
Music: michael w. smith
In the space of the beginning
Was the living word of light
When this word was clearly spoken
All that came to be was right
All creation had a language
Words to say what must be said
All day long the heavens whispered
Signing words in scarlet red
Some failed to understand it
So God spoke his final word
On a silent night in judahs
Hills a babys cry was heard
Glory! sang the angel chorus
Glory! echoed back the night
Love has come to walk among us
Christ the lord is born this night
All creation sing his praises
Earth and heaven praise his name
All who live come join the chorus
Find the words his love proclaim
Find the words his love proclaim

Man Sins Without an End!
The heart of man is evil to the core;
The mind of man sinfully does some more;
The mouth of man utters words unkind, sore;
The soul of man is full of sins of yore!
For long, we’ve sinned against our Lord, our God;
For long, His patience spared us from His rod;
We’ve failed to heed or do as per His Word;
How odd that man can’t stay pure in his thought!
Our sinful habits bring us curses great;
Our suffering and strife cannot abate;
This is but our making and not just fate;
The road to heaven’s narrow; So’s the Gate!
We must agree we disobey our Lord;
We’ve failed to keep the ten Commands He gave;
When misfortune then strikes, we rant and rave;
Man alienates from His one living God!
Why do those things that will displease the Lord?
Why sin endlessly, not fearing His rod?
We heeded not to prophets sent by God;
Man’s sinfulness and habits look so odd!
Repent and reconcile for time is short!
Our sinful habits, we must now abort;
Let grace of God cleanse every human heart;
With soul all pure, we must from earth depart.
The disasters we meet, may be from God,
Perhaps reminding man of all his sins;
We must then heed to every word of His’,
So that, we may partake eternal bliss!

My Words
Feelings of silence are here to be. Haunting is silence since it totally kills the essence of being alive. Words, my words are not stirring your emotions and I feel I have failed in my expression. A block seems to have been created, I have failed in creating words to perfection. Nothing is left with me and I actually feel like a failure in many ways. Hopefully, my life will be sorted out if god grants me strength to deal with things in a positive manner. Just a slight hope remains of surviving this mess.

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

Sacrilegious Fury
Blasphemy has failed. Failed to shock.
In the twilight of the twentieth century.
Religious fervour, which empowered insatiable
blasphemy. Has faded rendering shockingly,
provocative words, mere caricatures; shadows;
degraded farts; winding past damning exclamations.
Blasphemy has failed. Failed to shock.
Blasphemous remarks. Uttered against Almighty God.
Evil thoughts spoken hurled. Against anything esteemed sacred.
Have failed. To death threatened shock. Modern immune society.
Rendezvous. With hackneyed profanity. Fails to ignite chill fear.
Fearful is lobotomy preformed. Upon supposed clinically insane.
Anger spat. Hot furious. Death accompanying curse. Sworn
in stormy, less atheistic, abandoned past, violent darker ages.
Is feared now, only when tormented, demon possessed curser.
Is rabidly dangerous, with obvious, threatening derangement.
Such awesome obscenities, hold frightening immense power.
Threaten promise, immediate painful physical, impact punishment.
Ever the real; modern power; behind shocking blasphemy.
Yet ancient evil, still blasphemes, against true holy powers.
With all the bile, spat forth possessed vehemence; boiling
vile disinherited faith; awaiting revelation damned judgement.
Promised execution; awaiting accursed; dispossessed angel
become demons; still inflicting this earth; like an accursed plague.
Evil is more cunning, when less obviously evident. And
unbelievable in an age, intoning aspiritual excused, scientific
ignorance. Yet Satan ranges, howling banished, cast from heaven.
For evil words, are like hideous snakes, slithering into corrupted
unguarded orifices. Claiming souls bound for personalized hell.
Blasphemy has failed. Failed to death. Threateningly shock.
In twilight bombed out. Friday the thirteenth. Twentieth century.
For religious fear; fervour; persecution; is empowered indifferently.

There Is No Hope
There is no hope in this war to save you,
For you gave no credit to my words and you lied to me! !
But the sword of war is now before you;
And like days of old when your people failed to understand the laws.
Now the war is seen ahead of you and,
You have nowhere to hide! !
And there is no hope to save you;
Because you failed to give credit to my words when we first met.

Words
If I whispered words, would you hear them now?
Would you cross the deepest seas?
In the fiercest winds, on the burning trail,
Seal it with your word.
If I whispered words, would you keep a lie?
Would you promise me till time?
So if we grow old and the distance parts,
So seal it with your word.
Oh, Ill scream upon the hill,
So, you can hear me still.
Now, will we ever fade?
I seal it with my word.
If I whispered words, would you hear them now?
Would you cross the deepest seas?
In the fiercest winds, on the burning trail,
Seal it with your word.

The Very Wise Woman
The very wise woman she said to her son
If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone
With what she said I for one cannot disagree
She does seem a very wise person to me
The truth in her words I have come to realize
For one in her early thirties she does seem so wise
She said to her son your love of self to love of others expand
Of how love works she is one who does understand
Wisdom does not have an age to it as we have been told
A marvellous insight from a young mother to her nine year old
And since self love is a sibling of compassion and ruth
Her words to her son in them have the beauty of truth
If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone
The very wise woman she said to her son.

Twilight
I look into his eyes, there are closed
But I see something.
A teacher told me why, I laugh
When old men cry.
My body grows and grows,
It fightens me you know.
The old man tried to walk me home.
I thought he should have known.
Twilight,
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, night and day.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).
Im running in the rain.
Im caught in a late night play.
Its all and everything.
Im soaking through the skin.
Twilight, darkened day.
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).

Why Should You Take Heed of Me?
Why Should You Take Heed of Me?
God, God, God,
Why should You take heed of me?
Why do I take so much heed of myself?
What is this all about
You and Your Universe
You and Your ‘Infinites’ and Your ‘Vasts’ and Your ‘Beyonds? '
What is this all about
This mind this consciousness this me me me?
God Are You playing a game
With us
As I played one with the ants
A lifetime ago
When I was
A non- wanton schoolboy?

Head The Call
Have you been listening, (Listen to the music)
Have you been sleeping (The sermon's in the music)
(The man standing next to you, he must surely be your brother)
(So brother please) heed the call
(The piper he's still piping)
The magic in the music
(The drummer he's still drumming)
The message in the music
(Sweet song of loving you should be singing)
(So brother please) heed the call
Listen to the music, Listen to the music
(Listen to the music) heed the call
(Listen to the music) heed the call
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
Heed the call of the music
(It's still early in our morning)
There's still time for singing
Let's not waste our morning
Join in the singing
The outlaw of the midnight
He all too soon comes winging
(So brother please, please) heed the call
(Listen to the music) (Listen to the music) yeah
(Listen to the music) (Listen to the music) oh oh
(Listen to the music) oh oh oh (Listen to the music)
(Listen to the music)

My Prayer
Words and music by jimmy kennedy and georges boulanger
When the twilight is gone and no songbirds are singing
When the twilight is gone you come into my heart
And here in my heart you will stay while I pray
My prayer is to linger with you
At the end of the day in a dream thats divine
My prayer is a rapture in blue
With the world far away and your lips close to mine
Tonight while our hearts are aglow
Oh tell me the words that Im longing to know
My prayer and the answer you give
May they still be the same for as long as we live
That youll always be there at the end of my prayer
