If I Were To Say I Love You

If I were to say “I love you”
How might you respond?
Would you be indifferent or kind?
Tell the truth…I won’t mind
My ears have heard every answer;
See-thru excuses of duck n’ dodge
Such skillful words that sabotage

Come sit with me, let us reason
For every flower has its season
Bravely delve your truest feelings
Remove dusty layers ripe for peeling

I fully trust that we shall find;
How hurt can cleave hearts in two
How jealousy can make us blind

After there’s no negativity to pursue
When everything we’ve felt is said
There shall be a way for love renew

Blind Love

Words and music by tom waits
Now youre gone
And its hotels and whiskey and sad luck days
And I dont care if they miss me
I never remember their names
They say if you get far enough away
Youll be on your way back home
Well Im at the station
And I cant get on the train
Must be blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
Oh blind love
Blind love
Stone blind love
Stone blind love
Well the streets turning blue
The dogs are barking and the night has come
And its tears that are falling
From these brown eyes now
And I wonder where you are
And I whisper your name
(I whisper your name)
And the only way to find you
Is if I close my eyes
And find you with my blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
Oh blind love
Blind love
Stone blind love
Stone blind love
Oh its blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
The only kind of love is stone blind love
Oh blind love
Blind love
Stone blind love

Send One Your Love

Send her your love
With a dozen roses
Make sure that she knows it
With a flower from your heart
Show him your love
Don't hold back your feelings
You don't need a reason
When it's straight from the heart
I've heard so many say that the days of romance are no more
And people falling in love is so old fashioned
But waiting are they the day they once let slip away
Hiding need to fulfill their heart's desire for love's passion
Send her your love
With a dozen roses
Make sure that she knows it
With a flower from your heart
Show him your love
Don't hold back your feelings
You don't need a reason
When it's straight from the heart
I know that people say two hearts beating as one is unreal
And can only happen in make believe stories
But so blind they all must be that they cannot believe what they see
For around us are miracles of love's glory
Show him your love
Don't hold back your feelings
You don't need a reason
When it's straight from the heart

Mad Thoughts

You think I drink too much?
Never mind me, dreamed too much
They all drowned in the sea too much.
You think you love me more?
Wait till you know me more
And find that I love you but I'm not God.
You think the truth is hard?
Spew more lies, then try detangling the web hard
You'll find the truth is the most freeing lad.
You have Expectations?
His mom had to give birth to identical twins
Meet his twin, Disappointment
He's sure to make his appointment.
You trust no one?
Oh darn cynic!
No trust, no love
No trust, no unity, no Babel.
You love someone?
Wear a blind fold
'Cos from the factory of Eden
Mankind became unlovable.
Can't live without him?
Feelings will fade
Caterpillars that metamorphosized into butterflies
Will have a lonely funeral
When each's baggage is unloaded.
What is love?
I hate you and all you've done
But I love you inspite of who you are
Love inspite, love unconditionally, trust hurtfully
Love me like God, I can't see Him and live
But you can love me and I'll truly live.
I'll truly dream and believe
I'll truly breathe
I'll truly love.

Human

You are not an evil person
But you hurt me a lot unconsciously
You are not someone who could kill with your bare hand
But your words keep breaking my soul

I try to find the light
So I could stand much longer
I try to remember the laugh
So I could hold back the tears

But I'm also just human
I'm not some kind of superhero
Can you feel the darkness that creeping in my heart?
Or are you just too ignorant
For some kind of human

You keep demanding some more
But what can you offer?
Because I'm the one you could use
Should I'm the one who sacrifice my freedom for your own?

I try to swallow the blame
But it choked in my throat
I try to gain the strength
But all smiles will be faking

And I'm just human
The one who could love but also could hate fiercely without any reason
Have you ever heard my crying fear?
Do you ever reach me to the deepest core?
Or are you just too blind
Like some kind of human

So in the end
What will you do to make me stay?
A command from your authority mind
Or a pitiful plea to my ears
So in the end
Who will gonna be win?
A raging desperate man
Or a wounded pride man

Am I Crazy

Words that keep on coming
into my crazy mind, but why?
they enter they run around,
confuse, they drive me mad.

Nuisance this world of ours,
silly too the words that come,
they go away to come again,
in and out, they roundabout.

Turning they fly into my mind,
where or how who made these
crazy words come in, silly too
To I find my mind so troubled.

Am I mad, am I sane, am I crazy,
am I nuts, am I around the bend,
am I creating, do I have a problem,
do I have a gift for crazy thoughts?

Is it wrong to question, wrong to ask,
is the world mad or am I pretty dumb,
or should I become like a good sheep,
become a flock, a clique, a tag along?

I need to have an answer or a reply;
life is everywhere, so beautiful to see,
people love, they have their families,
they help each other, they marry too.

In all the crazy words, questions found;
if our world is full of beauty, full of growth,
if we love someone who is a human being,
a member of the human race that cares.

Most try to make a better world to live,
yet some who believe in this or that,
try to sweep the love the care away,
they kill, they hurt, they make the war.

Why use weapons to destroy beauty
of our world, make the bombs, the guns
that kill, spoil our world, hurt, injure
wound people, damage work that’s built?

If you can say my crazy words are wrong,
and give good reasons why you’d rather war,
kill people, destroy their homes their lives,
destroy trust, truth, spread hate not love.

Than live a life of love, harmony, of peace.
Convince me of your love for all mankind,
Only then and with much persuasion will I
be a good sheep, who follows, tags along.

Indifferent, unconcerned by worlds at war.

Being a Fool Is Easier

Those words may not always be there to say,
What feelings felt in moments bring.
And finding in my mind what my heart knows best...
Sometimes from my lips are not there to confess.

I am not trained to disconnect,
From sensitivities I don't expect.
I am not trained to just neglect...
My eyes from impressions.
Or my ears from remembered lessons.

I choose to move in forward steps.
Sweeping away experiences...
I have yet to perfect.

What I do is done with a truth I pursue.
Making excuses for myself I refuse to do.
And admitting this is not difficult.
Since I will be the first to say...
Being a fool is easier.
Than to hide and have someone decide,
If I am trying to hard to say what's inside.

Can We Find A Reason

Is there anyone out there
Willing to try ?
Or are we satisfied with just getting by ?

We've hurt mother nature
Can't you see her she's crying
We've robbed and we've raped her and taken her child

And oh oh oh can we find a reason ?
Just think about it
And oh oh oh can we find a reason
To live another season ?

We're fighting more battles
Everyday we're alive
We should be rejoicing
But instead we cry

This world's so polluted
You would think we were blind
We poison our children
Before they're defined

And oh oh oh can we find a reason ?
Just think about it
And oh oh oh can we find a reason
To live another season ? yeah

Excuse me for saying
'Cause I've never been shy
But if we don't stop this
We sho'nuff goin' die

Yes I hope we can make it
'Cause this river's run dry
Now our only battle
Will be to survive

Poets! Who Are We / Why Do We Write

Is it our sub conscious seeking recognition?
Is it our search for fortune and fame?
Or is it that we enjoy the word game?

For every question there is an answer
And for every answer there is a question.
Who are we that we love to write?

So many reasons and excuses that we use.
Are we going thru this. Or feeling that,
or heard or read something that inspired us.

I have come to my own conclusion
As to what a poet is.
A poet is the dictionary, the encyclopedia of life.
Our poems give words - LIFE, DEFINITION
MEANING, FEELINGS, AND EXPLANATIONS.

Words to us is like food to the stomach
It is taken in, absorbed and then let out
For new food to enter.

For what ever reason that we write
We can or can not touch peoples
Hearts and minds, and we feel a peace sublime.

We become the voices of the voiceless
Who are afraid or too shy to speak.
We become the mothers, father, sisters, and brothers
The lovers, the homeless, and the abused.
But we do not mind being used.

New poets join us every day
From every country in the world
I’m proud to say.

Don't Cry

Give me time
To realize my crime
Let me love and steal
I have danced inside your eyes
How can I be real
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Precious kisses
Words that burn me
Lovers never ask you why
In my heart
The fires burning
Choose my color
Find a star
Precious people always tell me
That's a step
A step too far
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Words are few
I have spoken
I could waste a thousand years
Wrapped in sorrow
Words are token
Come inside and catch my tears
You've been talking but believe me
If its true
You do not know
This boy loves without a reason
I'm prepared to let you go
If its love you want from me
Then take it away
Everything is not what you see
It's over again
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry...

0004 Rilke to a Young Poet 1

There is only one single way. Go into yourself.
Search for the reason that bids you write;
find out whether it is spreading out its roots
in the deepest places of your heart,
acknowledge to yourself whether you would have to die
if it were denied to you to write.

This above all - ask yourself
in the stillest hour of your night:
MUST I write?
Delve into yourself for a deep answer.
And if this is 'Yes! I must! '
then build your life according to this necessity;
your life, even within its most indifferent and slightest hour
must be a sign of this urge
and a testimony to it.

Then draw near to Nature.
Then try, like some first human being,
to say what you see and experience and love and lose.

Do not write love-poems;
avoid at first those forms that are too facile and commonplace:
they are the most difficult, for
it takes a great, fully matured power
to give something of your own
where good and even excellent traditions
come to mind in quantity.

Therefore save yourself from these general themes
and seek those which your own everyday life offers you;
describe your sorrows and desires, passing thoughts and
the belief in some sort of beauty -
describe all these with loving, quiet, humble sincerity,
and use, to express yourself,
the things in your environment,
the images from your dreams,
and the objects of your memory.

If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it;
blame yourself, tell yourself that
you are not poet enough to call forth its riches;
for to the creator there is no poverty
and no poor indifferent place.

Go into yourself and test the deeps
in which your life takes rise;
at its source you will find the answer to the question,
whether you must create.

A Season For Sharing

This becomes a season to give, to all with whom we daily live,
And to friends, near and far, to show them how loved they are,
A special time for us to share, our heart showing them we care,
A sharing of our gifts and love, is what this season is made of.

A season souls are behooved, this as many hearts are moved,
To display a different attitude, when moved by a festive mood,
From a special feeling in the air, moving hearts to fondly share,
As hearts and minds conceive, their desire to give and receive.

There’s indeed another side, one from which many people hide,
Which is the very initial reason, why we today have this season,
Observing throughout this earth, every year a very special birth,
The very birth of Christ, our Lord, which by many goes ignored.

This Season that many celebrate, stirs in some a sense of hate,
In hearts where there’s no place, for our Lord’s Love and Grace.
This isn’t true for those of us, who have, in Christ put their trust,
All Believers as the Saviors bride, share His Truth stored inside.

All Truth we’ve stored in our heart, we’re sent by Christ to impart,
The fuller sense, Truth and reason, for all this Christmas Season,
That child born as Jesus Christ, was born to give us Eternal Life,
And when that Truth you believe, New Life in Him you will receive.

Silence Echos

Silence
makes my heart break
Silence
Love, does not make

Silence
Was it all just a terrible mistake?
Silence
Was love just a game, just fake?

Silence
Leaves me heartbroken
Silence
Kills he feeling behind words unspoken

Silence
has is a shield you hide behind
Silence
Guards what's on your mind

Silence
Chills your heart's sound
Silence
Love cannot silently be found

Silence
has turned your dreams blind
Silence
is darkness in which you cannot find

Silence
Crushes the hopeful feelings that were kind
Silence
Of emptiness it did remind

Silence
Silence took all I sought to find
Silence
Silence was hurtful and unkind

Silence
Will kill love before it ripens on the vine
Love will go silently
But it's lonely hurt will echo for all time

S.P.S.

Album : Silencer (2001)
The fields have no shame
See with eyes that cannot see
Know the difference just the same
And this I know
Feel the fear of being crushed
When the sky falls on our heads
All the truth is being hushed
And this I know
Love whole love, Love whole love
Love whole love, Love whole love
Love whole love, Love whole love...
I want to hear an answer
I want to hear an answer
Knocked the bullet on the head
Cut myself don't mind in pain
Feel the colour stain me red
And this I know
I want to hear an answer
I want to hear an answer
When you find out everything you've lived is a lie
When you find out everything you've lived is a lie (yeah..)
Love whole love, Love whole love
Love whole love, Love whole love
Love whole love, Love whole love...
I want to hear an answer
I want to hear an answer
When you find out everything you've lived is a lie
When you find out everything you've lived is a lie

Some 'Try' to Prepared For This

One day you will awaken...
And not find excuses to make.
You will undertake,
A prolonged self examination.
And chase away everything about yourself...
You determine that has been faked.
Some try to peel this away,
To keep from exposing all the layers.

Whether it is honesty with self that offends,
One day you will open your eyes...
Searching without lies,
You've concealed within...
To allowed them to begin.
As if a game is played with safe measures.

And when this happens,
You will remove all deceit you've kept.
With a recognition,
Truth that sits can not be resisted.

An acknowledgement in your heart,
Will realize a true friend has come to visit...
And not depart.
One you will never argue with or dismiss,
To strip from it just the pleasure.

Since you are going to want this friend...
To stay around and assist,
From the beginning that visit hits.
In getting rid of every bit...
Of all the nonsense that addicts.

Some 'try' to prepared for this!
But honesty and truth,
When it comes to pursue...
Has a way to glue and stick,
Forever!

Early Works - Feelings

In my mind and heart,
I find joy
knowing you by small words,
but never knowing
the way you feel.

Deep within my thoughts
I ponder
on the question
do your feelings
correspond with ones
my heart and my mind produce,
yet you know
little of my feelings really
for life and fate
has held me out of reach
of your life for so long.

Maybe between the small words
and quiet smiles
I can find a sign
of how your feelings flow.

Yet on the other hand,
if I’ve read things wrong
a one-sided love affair might grow.

So unconsciously in the corridors
where love lies in wait,
I stride cautiously
gaining admiration for you
at a surprising rate.

I must not
fall too quickly
for if I do
the floor might give way
and I shall be hurt
in the fall.

So I tread with caution
overturning each stone as I go.
Upon reaching, the end
there won’t be much I don’t know,
or will there.
I might know all about you
in every detail,
it might be illustrated,
but your feelings
are something only you can tell me.
So with heart and mind
I plunge forward
hoping, wishing, and praying
the right answer I will find.

Make it habit

Make it habit in form of visible attitude
That may take you to the top of the altitude
Be kind and never be rude
Don't wait for any excuses or prelude

Don't be influenced by dirt around
Keep your self above and sound
Respond to whatever you feel is true
Make it felt sensibly too

You will be well received
Never lead to believe or be deceived
Millions of ways are there to find joy
Employ each method and silently enjoy

Life is indeed good
Joy provides nourishment and food
Don't become heartless like wood
Leave no stone unturned, understand and be understood

What makes men and woman vulnerable?
Their indifferent attitude and inviting troubles
Makes enemy a formidable foe
And friends offering more woes

So it is time to judge
Act with firmness and never to budge
Deliver what is mind and intended

Can't be undone

The truth remains same and can't be undone
The past and by gone may remain always bygone
The God has given you beautiful mind to inscribe on paper
It is how you feel and ink it on the subject matter

It does not remain then poetry
They are hidden words and not mystery
Every kind heart might have felt its impact
Let us make it as unforgettable holy act

Some one may see it as real art
Some words may be inserted as skillful craft
What actually you are doing with words?
Making it sharper than even swords?

Mind may read several things and store
It may add little or even more
The imagery may not remain ever confined
The feeling may come out and stay as defined

Poetry is reflection of clear mind
Many ideas may find mention and find
The safe refuge to come out at free will
It has to reside there and wait for still

It is like holy temple, mosque or church
You can create space, place and make search
It will create perfect environment with recognition
Only it will need proper key for ignition

You Are…To Me…For Me….

Like sugar
Like chocolate
You are so sweet
So sweet to me
Like an old man that’s blind
Or woman who comforts a baby that cries
You are kind
So kind to me
Prayed all my life to find
Yes to find someone like to find
Tried to ignore it but there are feelings growing in my soul…
For you
Yes for you, only for you
Every time I hear your voice
I know to rejoice
Cuz you have my heart
I never want us to part
You are so sweet
So sweet to me
You are so kind
So kind to me
Beautiful inside and out
I don’t have to meet you to know what you’re all about
You got me hoping for this to last
Hoping we can make it past
2 or 3 years
Release your fears
I will not hurt you
Just want to love you
Protect you and take care of you in ways only I know how to
If it’s not too much or no shame
Maybe one day I can carry your last name
But I don’t want to push
Cuz you and I are ordinary people
We can take it slow
I’ll be here and just so you know
I’ll love you til’ the end of time, if you let me
Let’s just be and if it’s real
Then let’s jump in the car and peel
Cuz baby you got that ‘Whip Appeal’
Just know I’ll never cheat, lie, or hurt you
Don’t matter what them other chicks do
I’m down and ONLY FOR YOU!
Cuz you are sweet
So sweet to me
You are kind
So kind to me
ONLY FOR ME! ! !

Try Again

Written by ricki & kim wilde
I cant see your face
Hear the excuses for
The mistakes that you make
Ive heard all your lies
I dont know how much I can take
Before I break
Ive tried to be so strong
While you broke the promises
All the vows that we made
We know somethings wrong
But we carry on anyway
Day by day
Youre the one who let me down
And now I find it hard to forgive
In my heart
But Ill try again
To forget all the pain
And love you again
Ill try again
Though you hurt me I know
I cant let you go
How can we forget
The sweetness of yesterday
We just cant let it go
Lost in bitterness
Im losing my self control
And my soul
Cos youll be the one who let me down
And now I find it hard to forgive
In my mind
But Ill try again
To forget all the pain
And love you again
Ill try again
Though you hurt me I know
I cant let you go
Oh why, why do we hurt each other more
When theres a way
Cos we never really found
What we were looking for
Can we try again
Cos youre the one who let me down
And now I find it hard to forgive
In my heart
But Ill try again
To forget all the pain
And love you again
Ill try again
Though you hurt me I know
I cant let you go
Ooh, Ill try again

God’s Blessing Of Love

Where would we be without God’s blessing of love
Lonely, miserable, desperate and sad.
Love provides purpose for both body and soul
And gives reason to be thankful and glad.

Love teaches trust, fear, honor and respect
For all we wish to retain and not lose.
The choices we make can last a lifetime
So we must stay cautious of what we choose.

Everyone needs love for its impact and fulfillment
No love breeds desperation, disappointment and tears.
As love transforms how we think, act and respond
We validate our feelings by our fears.
