Heal Thyself
Allopathic medicine is man made,
Useful for physical trauma and infection,
Mostly Voodoo medicine, inexact and flawed.
Demigod doctors pander chemical pharmaceuticals,
Offering side effects worse than what’s treated.
“Hippocratic Oath”...traded for dollars
Time has arrived for all to know;
All healing is God-Given…
This does not mean we’re powerless,
By directing prana/chi with prayerful/loving intention,
All malady must succumb to God’s-Will,
For our natural state of being is perfect health,
To know this you have but to see a newborn baby
Heal Thyself!

Hoodoo / Voodoo Medicine Man
Silence, I'm ashamed, I was left as a child
Dragged from the cradle, I was weaned in the wild
Ran with the wolf pack, flesh torn to shreds
In the compensations, I was left there for dead
Read it in the paper it ain't fair
You know who today don't seem to care
Livin', lovin', gettin' loose
Masturbatin' with a noose
Now someone's kickin' out the chair
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land
Some kind of voodoo
Be the medicine man
Everybody's lookin' at the sky
Don't believe the cover-ups and lies
They been tellin' us since birth
Pissin' off old Mother Earth
My gones are bygones prophesied
Some kind of voodoo
Come across this land
Some kind of hoodoo
Be the medicine man
Get ready
Wonder should I go or should I stay
'Cause what we got ain't workin' anyway
I did my best, God knows I tried
I feel like I been crucified
Why did you, why did you, why did you take it all away

Medicine Man
I'm the doctor, I can mend your broken heart
I'm the healer, I could take you right back to the start
So if you wanna take the chance well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
I will make you the kinda girl that feels no pain
I can take you and put you back together again
So if you wanna jump on board well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man
Listen, lady, don't make me drive you outta your mind
Cause together this remedy's not hard to find
So if you wanna take the chance and I'm damn sure that you do
Baby, I'm the medicine man
Now the rest's up to you
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man

Spontaneous Healing
Imagine…
No more HMO’s,
No more hospitals,
No more clinics,
No more mental asylums,
No more demigod-doctors,
No more pharmaceuticals,
No more surgery,
No more health insurance,
No more medical profiteers
How can this be so?
Nears the age of personal healing,
When some awaken to “A Great Secret”
The ability to transmute matter and energy
When human beings claim personal power,
When remembered an inborn ability to heal,
When “Laying on of hands” banishes,
Sickness, of mind, body and soul
Mankind shall then cry out;
“Father/Mother God it is finished”
Mankind made whole by The Grace of God,
Mankind bathed in Eternal Light,
Mankind readied for Ascension!

Healing
How do I take my medicine?
I take it a little at a time.
And every little dose I take
is connected to my rhyme.
And what is the medicine I swallow?
Pride, ego and vanity.
I figure if I can heal these things
I can observe the real me.
And who is this person that I am?
A character in a play.
For this world is a stage with actors
that need medicine every day.

Sexual Healing (Capital Radio Session)
Baby I'm hot just like an oven
I need lovin'
And baby, I can't hold on much longer
It's getting stronger and stronger
And when I get that feeling
I need sexual healing
Sexual healing
Oh baby
Makes me feel so fine
Helps to relieve my mind
Oh baby sexual healing baby, it's good for me
Sexual healing something that's so good for me
Whenever blue tear drops are fallin'
And my emotional stability is leavin' me
There is something I can do
I can just get on the telephone and call you up baby
And honey I know you'll be there to relieve me
The love you give to me will free me
If you don't know the things you're dealin'
Oh, I can tell you, darling, that it's sexual healing
(Heal me darlin')
(Heal me darlin')
Oh, and baby I got sick this morning
A sea was storming inside of me
And, baby I can't hold on much longer
It's getting stronger and stronger
And when I get that feeling
I need sexual healing
Sexual healing
Oh baby, makes me feel so fine
Helps to relieve my mind
Oh baby, sexual healing, baby, it's good for me
Sexual healing is something that's good for me
And it's good for me and it's so good to me
My baby ohhh
Come take control, just grab a hold
Of my body and mind soon we'll be making it, honey
Oh we're feeling fine
You're my medicine open up and let me in
Darlin' you're so great
I can't wait for you to operate
(Heal me darlin')
(Heal me darlin')
I can't wait for you to operate
(Heal me)
When I get that feeling, I need sexual healing
Oh, when I get that feeling I need sexual healing
I gotta have it sexual healing
I wanna have it sexual heali

His Healing Process
The Lord is doing a mighty work, as His Spirit does more than lurk,
As the doctors, for me strive, with their medicine, to keep me alive,
As the work of God may overwhelm, the doctor who is at the helm,
While doctors deal with my infirmity, that our human eyes can’t see.
However, The Lord knows and sees, each of my body’s infirmities,
As the doctors deal with the known, from the tests they are shown,
While the staff with this is dealing, God above is doing the healing,
Moving me ever closer to the end, of my present battle dear friend.
The doctor indeed seems impressed, as my condition is assessed,
As my condition betters each week, to bright, from what was bleak,
For I am closer to being healed, far from what was initially revealed,
Being told that in two years ahead, I would be much closer to dead.
But, new health God has granted me, just how much I’ve yet to see,
Now my health is being restored, through the doctors, by The Lord,
Slowly, but surely I can say, God is giving me more hope each day,
Hope as I see my Lord and God, leading the way with staff and rod.
In His mercy, He has shown His face, guiding me daily in His Grace,
As my Lord leads me in this trial, He’s by my side, there’s no denial,
He’s in the process of healing me, so that many other souls will see,
My Lord’s Grace, with His Power, as I progress, every day and hour.

Strange Voodoo
How can I love you boy when you dont even love yourself?
Im useless now as I have always been
Just like some worthless love song dying on the radio
We talk in circles til we dont know what we mean
No happy ever after, no big dark man
Aint no perfect situation, cant you understand
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo
How can I help you boy when I can barely help myself?
Im useless now as I have always been
Your lying eyes, your thieving hands, youre such a rogue at times
But you will always be a part of me
No happy ever after, no big dark man
Aint no perfect situation, aint no master plan
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you I keep loving you yes I do
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo
No happy ever after, no big dark man, no
Aint no perfect situation, cant you understand
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you I keep loving you yes I do
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you
Loving you

New Kind Of Medicine
Chorus
I need a new kind of medicine
I need a new kind of medicine
I need a new kind of medicine
One dont hurt so much
Aint so damn tough
And makes me feel good all over
Something baby about your love
Dont work for me
And I been thinking
How bad your loving makes me feel
Turning me around and around
Back and forth
And up and down
Always thought youd be good for me
But lately its killing me
Pre chorus
And I need someone
To fill me with sweet ecstasy
And I need someone who can take
Me high
And set me free
Leaving me alone at night
Never want to sacrifice
Now I know youre no good for me
Now Ive got to find a remedy
Tell me baby
How could things change so soon
I gave you everything
Nothing was too good for you
Love should feel like
A warm healing deep inside
But I feel Im slowly dying
From sitting home alone and crying
Pre chorus

BAD MEDICINE
Bon Jovi
Your love is like bad medicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Woah, shake it up just like bad medicine
There aint no doctor that can cure my disease
Bad medicine
I aint got a fever got a permanent disease
And it'll take more than a doctor to prescribe a remedy
And I got lots of money but it isn't what I need
Gonna take more than a shot to get this poison outta me
And I got all the symptoms, count 'em 1 2 3
First you need (Thats what you get for falling in love)
Then you bleed (You get a little and its never enough)
On your knees (Thats what you get for falling in love)
And now this boys addicted cause your kiss is the drug
Your love is like bad medicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up just like bad medicine
There aint no doctor that can cure my disease
Bad, bad medicine
I don't need no needle to be giving me a thrill
And I don't need no anesthesia or a nurse to bring a pill
I got a dirty down addiction that doesn't leave a track
I got a jolt for your affection like a monkey on my back
There aint no paramedic gonna save this heart attack
When you need (Thats what you get for falling in love)
Then you bleed (You get a little and its never enough)
On your knees (Thats what you get for falling in love)
Now this boys addcited cause your kiss is the drug
Your love is like bad medicine
Bad medicine is what I need
Shake it up just like bad medicine
So lets play doctor baby, cure my disease
Bad, bad medicine ... is what I want
Bad, bad medicine ... its what I need
I need a respirator cause I'm running out of breath

Touchy Subject for M'Lady Tara
As scientists now try to prove
by surveys and experiment.
That being touched by one you love
is itself benificient
Alternative therapies
abound but every one relies on touch
To put the patient at his ease.
What kind of touch won’t matter much
Reiki or reflexology
and all the methods of massage
Are challenging orthodoxy
and are succeeding by and large.
The orthodox, impersonal
and modern treatment of disease.
Is in itself inimical.
promoting feelings of unease.
Your patient need to feel you care
that he’s a person not a case
He need to know that he can share.
The worries which he has to face.
He needs someone who understands
as modern doctors seldom do
That just the laying on of hands
can be a potent medicine too.
Despite the money they have spent
they will conclude eventually.
It all comes down to your intent
the reason you are touching me.
Deprived of touch sick people die
.They just give up and fade away.
Or they decide its time to try
a different maybe better way.
You cannot argue with success.
although most doctors disagree.
Some few are willing to confess
that touching aids recovery.
That tender loving care does more
or at the very least as much.
It’s not a case of either or
but medicine and the loving touch.
We know though we cannot explain
close contact is imperative.
A loving touch can relieve pain
as well as any sedative.
We all have power to harm or heal.
which we can utilise at will.
A power which is very real
when it’s applied with loving skill.

Take Your Medicine
Walk with my eyes closed
I bump my head
Look at the stars falling on the ground
Saw someone crawling underneath my bed
Looked in the mirror caught my reflection, said oh...
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
And dont complain if it dont taste good
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
If it dont do the trick then I know what will
Open the paper
Eat ham and eggs
Java in a cup
Middle of the front page
I saw a man with a gun
Pointing at his head
Eyes in the camera
I can almost hear him say, oh...
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
And dont complain if it dont taste good
Just take your medicine
Just take your medicine
If it dont kill ya first then I know what will
I met an angel
Come from above
I buy her everything
Could this be love?
She gives me sweet dreams and nightmares too
Early in the morning she whispers in my ear, oh...

Physical Fascination
Hi!
I got to go, get aboard attack a love jet
Heaven and back
My- my-my-my-my-my-my
And I got to find a power station with a beat
I cant take no conversation
My-my-my-my-my-my-my
Looking for the inspiration
All succumb to the physical fascination
All succumb to the physical fascination
Hi!
Shake shake it up, this love divine
Youre out of touch, babe
Im going out of my mind
My-my-my-my-my-my-mind
Talk to me! why dont you talk to me?
Cmon and use your body language
And have yourself a good time
My-my- my-my-my-my-my
And radiate your sweet temptation
All succumb to the physical fascination
All succumb to the physical fascination
And radiate your sweet temptation
All succumb to the physical fascination
All succumb to the physical fascination
I said: all succumb to the physical fascination
And all surrender to the physical fascination
Yea yea yea yea

Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Is there a way to find the cure for this
Implanted in a pill?
Is it just the name upon the bottle
That determines if it will?
Is the problem youre allergic
To a well familiar name?
Do you have a problem with this one
If the results are the same?
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Well strip the bark right off a tree
And just hand it this way
Dont even need a drink of water
To make the headache go away
Give me sugar pill
And watch me just rattle
Down the street
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine

The poorest parts of the world are by and large the places in which one can best view the worst of medicine and not because doctors in these countries have different ideas about what constitutes modern medicine. It's the system and its limitations that are to blame.

Of A Lizard
My right-eye is swollen like a wake-up call,
How can i see without some medication?
My mind is activated and, who can take care of this eye?
I need the local medicine prescribed by my mother,
Because i have no money to visit the Doctor.
Sad as a Ghanaian, i am noted with my words;
With the words of my mother like the words of Africa!
No work and no money,
With no doctors to visit on this issue;
But sharp as a knife,
My mind speaks as you read on.
'Take the white from the faeces of a lizard and,
Mix it with water to apply it to your swollen eye';
This was the very local African Medicine for my eye.
Here in Africa,
We have more to do for our survival!
And here at home,
I do have more to learn as well.
Applying this method to my eye solved it all,
So the Doctors should learn from it;
Maybe, they need the chemical make up of these faeces.
