The body says nothing
Naked axe man behind bush!
Naked axe man behind bush!
I taught my parrot well,
my trusty alarm and protector.
The naked axe man looked shocked
and as I stabbed at him,
he fell, heavy, in slow motion
landing, face down, on my stone floor.
His eyes, wide open, staring,
but his body said nothing
with the deafening sound of death
when death first steals the soul.

On the Innate Drive For What is Right
As life bled, martyrdom flared its buds.
Repression, red from irritation,
Rendered chinks and cracks; but thuds of
Armament - in cowardice - accomplice of the
Dictatorial blight thro' countless years -
Wreaked its retribution:
Yet hope began to bloom a coloured carapace
Enshrining their allegiance ‘gainst the
Terror in their tears.
And on! Splits yawned - breaches in the junta:
Flesh fought fanatical minds -
Bullets welcomed into open hands
And blessed with yearnings for morality:
Chiselled man-toys of death and mutilation
Couldn't repel the might of freedom
Surging at the bright horizon.
Crepuscular rays of purpose, body,
Flooded pandemonium with
Overwhelming clarity, direction -
Burdened clouds drifting wayward as the
Light channelled out a vision,
Intensifying focus on tomorrow -
Deepen their stride
As they home in to
What is theirs,
Rightfully theirs!

Justice is the One who gives Life on Me
For the people who seek for comfort or dead mercy,
Their fairness sob and yet still strife for their right,
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.
My eyes shed tears, my heart crumpled tenderly
Cries of beggar and poor who gleamed on my sight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life on me.
The soul who screams, murdered by hatred and fury,
By means of politics, they were killed and cause blight
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.
Such criminals must be punish and injured severely,
Either they’ll tell the truth or lie, a freedom to fight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life for me.
Unjust power, ways of government over sovereignty,
To rule the nation seeking in dark the hopes in light
Yet, rage against the death of justice before it will be.
Hearts and souls are estranged on life that’s so unlucky,
And unfair and believers grasp on their faith; hold on tight,
And rage against the death of justice before it will be,
For only Justice, Justice and Justice…
Which the one who gives life to me.

Death and Birth
Death leads to birth rather than birth, to death.
Birth is close to death and not vice versa.
Every birth is at the result of a death.
Death to birth, not birth to death, is the path.
The death of clay is the birth of a pot;
The death of the pot is the birth of clay.
Ice melts to water and water forms ice.
In each conversion, occur death and birth.
The death of a night is the birth of a day;
The death of a day is the birth of a night.
New Year means the death of the old year too.
In each transition, takes place death and birth.
The death of a seed is the birth of a plant;
The death of gametes is the birth of an embryo.
Salts die to form cells; cells die to form salts.
In each growth, form death and birth of matter.
The so called death and birth is nothing but
Deaths and births of forms made of matter.
The matter itself does not die to be born
But is converted to different forms.
Elements disappear to form plants.
Plants as food add to the animals’ flesh.
Plants and animals on death liberate
As elements, serving through worms and germs.
When a child is born, there’s no birth of life.
The embryo transforms into a child.
When a man dies, there is no death of life.
The body disintegrates to salts.
Matter, energy and life have no death
They have got one birth since when they’ve been.
They interact and come different stages
In which the pattern is death and birth.

Before You Die... Dec 2nd,2012
Before your name gets into the obituaries, you must die,
And you may not have had the opportunity to say good-bye,
Because you have little control of anything relative to your death,
No death-with-dignity as you wait quietly to take your last breathe.
And those opposed to death-with-dignity want nothing to change,
Like the Sue Rodriguez case and nothing will be rearranged,
You will either go to heaven or hell; it depends on yourself,
Death-with-dignity is a sin and no one should lower themselves.
Therefore it is the holier than thou churches that are adamant,
Bishops and holy priests will be the only informants,
Therefore the law cannot be changed to help the sick and dying,
There's no other way except obeying and complying.

Beautiful City
Beautiful city
Beautiful city, the centre and crater of European confusion,
O you with your passionate shriek for the rights of an equal
humanity,
How often your Re-volution has proven but E-volution
Roll’d again back on itself in the tides of a civic insanity!

Mere Mortals
A mortal thought carries a flute,
Singing this breathing will give birth.
Over hills and into tunnels, a small touch
Brings the body to a nearness with death.
Again and again, my significant breath
Grows deeply enough to revive my soul.
Near death is a light of speech so powerful,
Hands and feet struggle with me, so violently.
The light of the stars, when the nights passed,
Lost me, spoilt me with my heart as I lived.

Top-Secret Stuff Nov 12th,2012
Death-with-dignity is important if you get Lou Gehrig's disease,
You can't avoid the oncoming pain and there are no guarantees,
But death-with-dignity in Canada is completely banned,
By an executive order from the Ottawa command.
Both binding referendums and death-with-dignity are denied,
Is this democracy, dictatorship or Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Why do our appointees and politicians just smile and walk away?
Why are media moguls so careful in what they write and say?
Top-secret stuff never mentioned in the obedient press,
Ideas about death-with-dignity are never expressed,
Binding referendums are the flashpoint of future change,
Why are they so difficult to arrange and why so strange?

Dignity
Dignity is what we want,
As human beings on this earth;
Dignity is what we can’t,
Give up anyway since birth.
Dignity is innate right,
God has bestowed man, He made;
Dignity is cause to fight
When employees get under-paid.
Dignity, all need always
At home, at school and one’s work-place;
Dignity for human race,
Men must guarantee all days.
Dignity in livelihood,
Receive should all citizens;
Dignity in dying too,
World must assure everyone.
Dignity is what we need
In life on earth and when we die;
Dignity is good indeed
For creatures born under the sky.
Dignity for man and beast
Is a must for all, west / east;
Dignity for anyone
Shouldn’t be denied, any time!

There's No Way Out Nov 7th,2012
THERE'S NO WAY OUT NOV 7TH,2012
BY
JAMES BREDIN
The death-with-dignity crowd is trying to help you out,
Because you don't have much of a clue what death is all about,
But biased aristocrats don't want anything to change,
No need to think about this because they will arrange.
If, God-forbid, you come down with Lou Gehrig's disease,
Like Sue Rodriguez; whom the establishment did not please,
The death-with-dignity crowd suggestions might help you out,
Though this is still illegal in Canada; what this is all about.
Because, there's a chance that you might have a miserable death,
We are here now and it looks like we can't get out of this mess,
Because the Supreme Court is not likely to change their rules,
And we must be considered compliant obedient fools.

What Does An Election Mean?
I have absolutely no influence and neither do you
No Death-With-Dignity or compulsory voting so what’s new?
We’re going to have an election that will only change some names,
But unfortunately, everything else stays exactly the same.
We don’t have referendums, plebiscites or mid term elections,
No propositions or proportional representation selections,
I think its time that maybe someone somewhere should complain,
Maybe set-date elections would help with this awful pain.
We have no death penalty either so therefore, no death row,
Banned from the UN Security Council so there, we can’t go,
Abortion death clinics on every second street are never banned,
Politically correct, never mentioned; all slight of hand.
Death with dignity and assisted suicide - all illegal,
Try to avoid a slow painful death but you can’t and it’s legal,
If you are talking to a politician, ask him/her about this,
See if he/she can get us Death-With-Dignity like the Swiss.

Death With Dignity In Canada Oct 29th,2012
If the church has forbidden death with dignity; what else have they banned?
Are pedophile priests still hidden in this multicultural land?
Are abortions allowed to kill unborn babies here and there?
Should I apologize for being so bold and showing that I care?
If the States of Oregon and Washington can change things around,
Should the other states and should Canada hear the campaign sound?
Could we all die in dignity instead of devastating pain?
I think it would be better to hear the death-with-dignity campaign.
If ladies can have abortions here and there; then and now,
Why can't we have death-with-dignity instead of a pompous row?
Is it illegal or a sin or disgusting to talk about this?
Several European countries have it now, including the Swiss

Dignity As An Election Issue Oct 5th,2012
The Sue Rodriguez syndrome may eventually haunt us all,
As we get closer to death and certainly not having a ball,
Because death with dignity is completely forbidden here,
The doctor, who assisted you, could go to jail and disappear.
And the government can't change it because this is Supreme Court stuff,
They may try it in Quebec but this could be legally rough,
But I admire them for having the guts - the only province to try,
As, without death with dignity, we all get in a lineup to die.
Unfortunately our politicians tend to hide about this,
Never mention that some people have it, such as the Swiss,
But our isolated politicians are in Ottawa very far away,
They want nothing to change and please no election issue or day.

One Place In The Night
Girl, don't wait u-up tonight
Don't leave o-on the light
'Cause you'll be sleepin' alone agai-ain
I know my
Intentions were the best
I had it a-all worked out, you see-ee
But you deserve a whole lot better than me
You need a ma-an
Whose heart is only one place in the ni-ight
Who'll stay right here and just be satisfi-ied
You nee-ee-eed a man
Who won't disappoint you every time
Who'll call and say our plans have changed
So don't wait up toni-ight
Stop me-ee now
I've gone and talked too much again
You know I do that now and the-en
So pay no attention to me
If I-I say your na-ame
A thousand times again and again
Just don't listen to me-ee
You need a ma-an
Whose heart is only one place in the ni-ight
Who'll stay right here and just be sa-atisfi-ied

Change, The Inevitable.
Change is to one man the death of a friend,
To another the birth of a child.
Change is the shifting of soft winds of spring,
to a hurricane deadly and wild.
Change is the moving of the hourglass sands,
It's the coming of dawn after dark.
Change is taking one step at a time,
The emotion in each persons heart.
But change in the end, will not change at all
The one constant in everyone's lives
Change is the light at the end of the tunnel
The healer who opens our eyes.

Hubristic Gestures
Politics of division,
With donkey tails and elephant ears...
Are disappearing with any endearing significance.
Yesterday, perhaps.
When a loud snoring indicated a napping continued.
An ideology atop a throne of preached doom and fear...
Fades an aging philosophy.
Mesmerized window dressings,
No longer capture imaginations.
A threshold of change emerges.
Not to be confused with abusive slander.
Once used as a dependable anchor tossed to captivate.
White and black issues attacking the facts...
Attracting conflicts with more attacks on top of that,
Have produced more yawns than substance to adorn.
These movements only do one thing...
Heighten an awareness of massive ignorance!
And surrogates employed to mask,
Only annoy the tasks at hand!
Provoking the birth of a new horizon...
Ensures the invoking of it!
Points of view attributed to ancestors and myths,
Have fulfilled their purpose.
A 'rebranding' of what ends,
To redefine with crumbling rhetoric...
Comes to replace hubristic gestures,
Once thought to be treasured as irreplaceable!
And shattered are those in the shadows,
Of this stagnation being suspended...
Whether or not the affects of it are comprehended.
It does not await for the initiation of debate!

Shroud of Destiny
Destiny
A foretelling
Your purpose in life
Stray away
Must not
Follow your dreams
Disregarded
Only one path
Destiny provides
At birth
Failure this
Concept is
Truth be told
Many paths
Lay in front
Hiding in the
Shroud of destiny
One purpose
One goal
One path
In life
No decisions
For you only the stars
Decide

His Light For You Will Always Shine
May the sun always brighten your path to lead your way,
let the sun warm your path to happiness and for you bring glorious days.
Never hesitate to stop and pick a flower along your way,
this to represent life to it's fullest extent.
If rain begins to puddle your path, look up to the Heavens,
if there's no sun, remember the light is still there.
The light of God's son will always shine for you,
just follow his word and on the right path you will stay
your whole life through.
Let the sun be your mirror each day, let it reflect
your beautiful memories of past days.
A blanket the sun will be for you, warming
you to your very heart, with ever ray.
In darkness, when the sun doesn't shine, God's son
will still provide a light for you. His light will always
remain in your heart, and be a guide for you through, all time,
Just look to the Heavens, the light will always shine.

The chance to change
There are some things I would like to change
But what are they? It’s hard to say
The chain reaction, and domino effect
Would change the image, the mirror reflects?
If I change the past and the things I’ve done
It would change the person that I’ve become
Sure there are things that I regret
Some people I would rather not have met
But if I remove them all, from my life
I may have not become, a mother a wife
Although my marriage didn’t last
It’s not something I’d erase from my past
If I was to choose a different path
I would never have heard my children laugh
That, I am not willing to change
That will have to remain the same.
So I think I’ll keep things the way they are
Why dream of change? When I’ve made it this far
I won’t regret choosing this path
I’ll keep the chance to hear my children laugh
