Enchant
The waves roll up the shore
across a sandy beach
as couples watch the waters
weave in between their toes.
The moonlight bathes them
as they walk along the shore.
The sun has rested its head
within a glowing sunset
that fired up the evening sky
leaving the moon to enchant
the lovers as they walked by
along the sandy shore,
leaving only their footprints
to be washed away for ever more.

4th Of July, Asbury Park
Sandy the fireworks are hailin' over little eden tonight
Forcin' a light into all those stoned-out faces left stranded
On this fourth of july
Down in town the circuit's full with switchblade lovers so fast
So shiny so sharp
And the wizards play down on pinball way on the boardwalk way past dark
And the boys from the casino dance with their shirts open like latin
Lovers along the shore
Chasin' all them silly new york girls
Sandy the aurora is risin' behind us, the pier lights our carnival
Life forever

An Act Of Love
The night sky was clear and starry
And the nearly full moon spying down
Like a waxing Mata Hari
On the two lovers of the town
While they lay atop a mountain
On a large beach towel for two
Naked and anxious to begin
Their lovemaking long overdue.
Embraced, they seized the moment
That seemed to them like forever;
Intoxicated by their scent
Only hasten their endeavor.

A Sandy Beach In April
I stood on a sandy beach
on an April weekend.
The sun was shining bright
on each wave
that carried its reflection in.
The sky in the west
was filled with mottled clouds
and on occasional breaks;
the sun’s rays peaked through.
An easterly breeze
lifted the sand into little swirls
and carried them a short while
before depositing them down again,
as I walked along a sandy beach in April.

Walk with Me on water
The only way
to walk along the beach
is barefoot.
For one golden sandy moment
your footprint signature
is a part of the beach;
a bayside Hollywood Boulevard.
Hear the shore break;
coooooooooh
tshhhhhhhhhh,

Your path is unique

no-one can follow.
But a couple
