So
... and so I do love you so
limp-eyelid folding I
your hair stroking
violin lambs wool halo
duet yearning yawn
dawn this soon for suck
succumbing cumming
we
delicious daylight devouring
strings part pulling
fluid bodies we
string vibrant aureate
playing parts
our parts parting
strings attached stroking
violet viola visceral memory

Invisible Strings
(ian hunter)
One, two, three
Well I woke up this morning - theres a girl in my bed.
How did she get there? was it something I said?
I dont understand it but somehow it seems
She visits me in invisible dreams.
Over and over I try to explain
How did that girl get into my veins?
Did somebody send her - was it my velvet wings?
And how does she touch my invisible strings?
Invisible strings - invisible strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Now its all over when the fat lady sings
Ill still be playing my invisible strings
Well maybe she dont have a world of her own
Maybe shes using me just like a phone
And sometimes shes cool and sometimes she stings
And Im all tangled up in invisible strings
Invisible strings - invisible strings
These are a few of my favorite things
When youre wearing black and Im wearing wings,
Well still be playing those invisible strings
Well she never leaves - Im never alone
I aint in the book but shes still calling home
I tried to lose her - watch the tv
But that womans always picking on me
Well, theres strings round my body, strings round my heart
Id like to know where the string-pulling starts
Id give anything to meet the angel who sends
Invisible ink to my invisible pen
Invisible strings - invisible strings
These are a few of my favorite things
When youre wearing black and Im wearing wings,
Well still be playing our invisible strings
Invisible strings - invisible strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Now its all over when the fat lady sings
Well still be playing our invisible strings
Invisible strings - invisible strings
Oh yeah

Pulling My Strings
Again I feel it. Some one holding me back, Someone pulling my string. The more I move the more I feel your presence. An Outsider, Anonymous Onlooker. So Tell Me Did You Get Want. Do I Satisfy In Your Dark Deceitful Eyes. Hide Behind The Sunrise, That Fine But I Still Know Your There Pulling My Strings Like You Can Control Me. Avoid Me, Deny Me, I Don't Really Care Cause I Know You Are Still. Watching And Waiting. For What I Don't Really Know. If Your Waiting For An Invitation Here It Is Please Speak And I Will Listen. Again I feel it. Chills Right Up Spine. Someone Is Holding Me Back, Someone Is Pulling My Strings. She Wont Go Away Why I Just Don't Know But Yet She Wont Let Her Presence Truly Known. Like A Ghost Theirs A Glimpse Then Its Gone. Fading In To Just Fade Out. I'm Not Crazy, She There. Again I Feel It. Like What See, Come In The Open Get Better Look. A picture last forever. A glance cant even be etched into memory. But Still Your Pulling my strings oh Pulling My Strings

Folding
Your poet kisses
long, full lung whispers
warmest of wondrous
unimagined wishes
To You:
Operetta Cantor
cello violin string vocal violas
stroking
listing longing
lambent limbs
crave calling
Fold, enfolding sheets
satin, stained staff line we
wrap toss tumble silken
slow cadence graceful
we magnificent maneuvering
joyful jump jockey jostling
horizontal equestrians riding
reach this compromise
ideal crescending paradise
we
tension hold hug share gasp thrashing
release incendiary
furious to fuming
warm shudders and stutters
delicate caressing shoulders
back of neck kitten kiss bites
salivate soothing
this same pillow
your hair strokes vicuna
your voice resonant
ripple pulse breathing
immaculate embrace drifting...
off...
more strokes...
more waves...
wash bodies cupping
sculpted coupling
warm breath splashes
wave craves...
...mmm...
dreaming...
...your breathing...
narcotic rhythm
spectacular
sensuous serene soothing
clasp arms cradle, enfold
loins brushing kitten smitten
magnificent tension softest biting
white pristine warms indigo
infernal
cadence cooling:
into upon one another
we are coda
we are folding
bold fold
utlrasonic speaking
We; the contour of cantor
we collapsing -

A Victory Of Love
Waiting for a change in the weather
I'm waiting for a shift in the air,
Could we get it together - ever -
Hoping for your return
Hoping for your sweet, sweet return
Hello - is this how we calling?
Hello - hello
Is somebody there?
She must be somewhere
And then she says
Hello - hello - hello
She's really an angel -
She stands in the sunshine
She's closing her eyes -
She's starting to dream
She's pulling the strings
She's dreaming a strange dream
Where nothing is grey -
Then she takes me away
And she's pulling the strings
When she's playing with love
She's playing with love, hello - hello
Counting - I count every second
And I'm standing
I stand in the rain,
I walk up that lane
Which leads to the sunshine
She stands in the sunshine
She's closing her eyes
Then she takes me away
And she's pulling the strings
When she's playing with love
She's playing with love
Hello - hello

A Puppet On A String
A puppet on a string is all that you are,
And all that you ever will be
Your told what to hear and what to say
And you're even told what you can believe.
You are not free as you were once before
As you gave that and your dignity away
Now you are told where to go and what to wear
And you were even told to change your name.
Your watched and not trusted wherever you go
And you must ask permission to leave
And that is the life that you chose for yourself
Now for you there is only shame and pity.
You're a puppet on the string as that is you
Your puppeteer tells you how to act
He tells you what to cook and when to sleep
And when to bed him and how to react,
But what can you do, as you have nowhere to go
Everyone knows of your lying and your ways
Your own daughters are confused because of you
Now they will be like you in their own adult days.
You changed your hair and you changed your name
Because your master commanded you to
To make him happy is what you want to do best
But sadly this situation for you isn't new.
You're a puppet on the string that's all that I hear
Wherever you might go or what you might say
You walk in the footsteps your master placed for you
And you will walk them until your dying days.
Your strings are pulled and then you will walk
Your strings are pulled and then you will obey
Your strings are pulled and then you will answer
And that's how you will be from day unto day.
No truth or loyally does your master have for you
Not even a vow to GOD or a wedding ring
But you never expect or accepted them anyway
As all that you are, is but a puppet on a string.

Hello, hello, is somebody there, she must be somewhere

Country Is Like A Body
When one part sick
All parts look unhealthy
When one part missing
All parts get the impact
When one part is weak
Do other parts only blame and not help to fix it?
When one part is failed
Do other parts only let it fall and not support it?
Even it is often forgotten
It doesn't mean it is not important
Even it is always underestimated
It doesn't mean it could completely be ignored
One part may be incapable
But it doesn't mean all parts can do nothing
One part may be invalid
But it doesn't mean all parts should also give up the spirit
In some incredible moment they are working together
In some unseen place they don't stop to struggle
It may be hard but always raises up the hope
It may be small change but always look forward

Bow and Strings
What heavy, dark delirium!
What dim and moonlit heights!
To touch the violin for years
And not to know the strings by light!
Who needs us now? And who lit up
Two hollow, melancholy faces...
And suddenly the bow felt
Someone take them up, unite them.
"How long it's been! Amidst this gloom
Just tell me this: are you still the same?"
The strings caressed the bow,
Rang out, caressed it slightly trembling.
"Is it not true, that we will never more
Be parted. It's enough..."
Yes, replied the violin,
But pain was throbbing in her heart.
The bow discerned it and grew mute,
The echo still continued in the violin...
What was a torture to them both
The people heard as music.
But the violinist didn't snuff
The candles out 'til dawn...The strings sang on...
The sun found them worn out
On the black velvet of their bed.

Tempest
It’s the summer thunder
and I miss her wonder
As the wool is pulled to
bluest grey gaze
Abysmal and dismal
dervish dust sand
Far too-many days
too-many far days
I keep the windows open
Even echoes
should neither be alone nor
shut out

Immortalize
So how shall we immortalize?
I ask her with this face
School-boy gleam giddy
Talent, potential
augmented with
her very own, “perhaps”
dangles for follow
Text
draw or paint for sculpting?
intimate as evasive I
literate searching
tug tension tearing
tension indecisive
lends word for earing:
She the Master ever in training
(dare I steal her word for ask?)
“Let us keep this moment for last,
suspending perhaps... “

Beautiful Game
These shoulders
almost wide enough
to play the hand
fountain quill fanning
talon wingtip splayed
My God;
You The One So Beautiful
we the airborne glide drawing
cards laid
tenuous tempest
hearts and spades
hearts in spades laid
tessellate tightrope
clawing down-wind
downe betraying
light with shade splayed

She's Not My Girlfriend
Her heart is in my hand
It shivers like a toad
She tries to understand the
Tiny lump that's down inside her throat
It goes
Suck suck
Suck suck
Suck suck
Her head is in my lap
It twists and coughs and sings
Her hair is in my grasp
It hangs and swings like swollen strings
It goes
Suck suck
Suck suck
Suck suck
Her face is inside out
An open book report
I read what she's about
And she's filled with words that hurt
It goes
Suck suck
Suck suck
Suck suck
Sometimes I want her in
Sometimes I want her out
My perception of sin
Is filled with pain and fear and doubt
She she she she, she isn't my girlfriend
No no, I'm not who you think I am
She she, she isn't my girlfriend
No no, I'm not who you think I am
Her clothes are on the ground
A crumpled rainbow mass
She's scattered all around
And she's scattered now like broken glass
It goes
Suck suck
Suck suck
Suck suck
Sometimes I want her in
Sometimes I want her out
My perception of sin
Is filled with pain and fear and doubt
She she she she, she isn't my girlfriend
No no, I'm not who you think I am
She she, she isn't my girlfriend
No no, I'm not who you think I am
She she, she isn't my girlfriend

Don't let that horse
Don't let that horse
eat that violin
cried Chagall's mother
But he
kept right on
painting
And became famous
And kept on painting
The Horse With Violin In Mouth
And when he finally finished it
he jumped up upon the horse
and rode away
waving the violin
And then with a low bow gave it
to the first naked nude he ran across
And there were no strings
attached

Drawing the dreams
of a hundred suitors
stroking her silver bow
diaphanous, duplicitous

livid lavender
