Moving Forward
The deep parts of my life pour onward,
as if the river shores were opening out.
It seems that things are more like me now,
That I can see farther into paintings.
I feel closer to what language can't reach.
With my senses, as with birds, I climb
into the windy heaven, out of the oak,
in the ponds broken off from the sky

Up into the cherry tree
Who should climb but little me?

Watching The River Flow
While Sun shines bright
And the Moon is full aglow
That is the time
To sit and watch the river flow.
For that is the time
To write poems in the sand
And also in the mind
To hold a Lady's hand.
Heaven is above us
And Earth is still below
And not a better place to be
But to sit and feel the flow.
Fishes now are swimming
As the birds they do fly
Up and down the river
To where the bullfrogs cry,
Stars are shining bright

The Climb
Step by step I come closer to reaching the top
Every step must be placed so that I dont fall off
Looking down to see about how much higher I am
Another cool wind comes through, brushes my skin
The harder I pust the tension does grow

Heaven
When I go to Heaven,
When I past the moon and stars,
Who will be waiting for me,
If though, I make it that far.
Will I walk through those pearly gates,

And will I see my father and brother again,

Knowing I have lost my mortal life

I Will Glow More
A river was frozen in my chest, O god –
I choose a burning boat to reach you.
My planet has become a broken bridge.
Voiceless hymns are haunting me.
Standing in a remote village of words,
my poetry beside me.
I want to cross the thick woods.
The hairy legs of tarantula –
I am ready to meet them on my body.
A skylark ejects a lyric at my terrace,

Recovery
The injured eagle soars on an alabaster wing
The wounded humpback does not sing
The choir of summer birds have ceased to resound.
And the sinister forces have finally won.
The pointless laughter of children is not present
But in their place, the brazen wailing of my heart, in torment.
I can feel this and look onward
Toward the great heights
I'm not in hell nor alone
Whilst my ego, engraves my tombstone.
Such bitter despair
My heart is torn in two
The woman I loved was torn from me
And took with her a chunk of me
My smile lives on only in my head
I have joy but it is deeply disguised
Somewhere deep beneath the tears and frowns
There's been a beam through the ups and downs
Of hope and gladness and everlasting love
I'm opening back my heart to let someone in
The dreams I had so almost let slide
So close to the fire, almost shriveled up and died
I saved them from the hearth of gleaming coals
They've become a part of my future once more
Love will never take me captive again.
By and by I'll learn to not get bound in chains
I'll keep myself from falling hard
And falling flat on my face...
And Now, oh now, I've grown tall and hard
My rough bark tells a story.
i've been through thick and thin and pain,
My branches intertwine with harsh burnt vines,
My trunk grows strong but bends under the barb'rous winds,
I will never stop growing or twisting and turning.
I Defy the laws of nature and sprout blossom.
I will continue to soar and soar and climb
Up toward heights and onward to the sky,
I will flourish straight up to the moon,
And hear the distant harmony,
Of the summer birds' signature tune

And the meaning of life comes clear to me in the blink of an eye.
