Rabindranath Tagore

The Gardener LXI: Peace, My Heart

Peace, my heart, let the time for
the parting be sweet.
Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain
into songs.
Let the flight through the sky end
in the folding of the wings over the
nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be
gentle like the flower of the night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a
moment, and say your last words in
silence.
I bow to you and hold up my lamp
to light you on your way.

Song For A Winters Night

The lamp is burnin low upon my table top
The snow is softly fallin
The air is still within the silence of my room
I hear your voice softly callin
If I could only have you near
To breathe a sigh or two
I would be happy just to hold the hands I love
Upon this winter night with you
The smoke is rising in the shadows overhead
My glass is almost empty
I read again between the lines upon the page
The words of love you sent me
If I could know within my heart
That you were lonely too
I would be happy just to hold the hands I love
Upon this winter night with you
The fire is dying now, my lamp is growing dim
The shades of night are liftin
The mornin light steals across my windowpane
Where webs of snow are driftin
If I could only have you near
To breathe a sigh or two
I would be happy just to hold the hands I love
And to be once again with with you
To be once again with with you

Your Tender Touch

Your Tender Touch

your tender touch
reaches this very soul
thirsting and burning
the desire to be with you
and just to be with you

even in my wildest dream
your tender touch
melt my heart and piercing
the very core in me, leaving me
crazy, and so madly in love with you

gazing into your eyes
your hands softly caressing
this body, swaying and swaying
as we gently move into one direction
breaking the silence and stillness of the night

just hold me and caress me
your tender touch melting me again
the fire of our love will always be burning
our one in a million dreams we shared
engulfing in our embrace so sweet..so gentle

Nude In The Mirror

on a cold night
blood rushes in my head

lust blushes
and love says it cares

and ask that
we be tender and gentle to this

hugs and kisses
bodies rubbing and hands caressing

playing the music of desire
on the piano keys of the body

trembling at first and
then softens to give in to the dance

of love
eyes closed one sees the color of the world

beyond the imagination of light
the wind knows

what the dark night is adoring
mutuality, respect and openness

and then the closeness
breathtaking

a series of explosions
unhindered by your warm touch

and licks and fullness
of tongues unspeaking but

understanding the need and the
flight of two souls

fusing as one and then melting
flowing like syrup of honey

on the side of the glass
dip and sip and swallow the most

beautiful moment and then
the satisfying fullness of silence

sweet so sweet

One Last Time

Just one last time
Before I go
Let me tell you much
I love you so

Just one last time
Will you hold my hand
As we walk down the beach
With our toes in the sand

Just one last time
Will you give me a kiss
Let me taste those sweet lips
I know I will miss

Just one last time
Let me gaze in your soul
Let me get lost in forever
Let me lose all control

Just one last time
Can I hold you so tight
All through the day
And all through the night

Just one last time
Let me feel your caress
Let me place your head
Upon my heart and my chest

Just one last time
Let me feel your gentle touch
For your skin on my skin
It gives me so much

Just one last time
Let us make love
Let us join as one
Be at peace like a dove

Just one last time
Let me smell your sweet breath
Let me caress your soft hair
Before I meet death

Just one last time
Before I go
Let me tell you much
I love you so

Lines Written in the Bay of Lerici

She left me at the silent time
When the moon had ceas'd to climb
The azure path of Heaven's steep,
And like an albatross asleep,
Balanc'd on her wings of light,
Hover'd in the purple night,
Ere she sought her ocean nest
In the chambers of the West.
She left me, and I stay'd alone
Thinking over every tone
Which, though silent to the ear,
The enchanted heart could hear,
Like notes which die when born, but still
Haunt the echoes of the hill;
And feeling ever--oh, too much!--
The soft vibration of her touch,
As if her gentle hand, even now,
Lightly trembled on my brow;
And thus, although she absent were,
Memory gave me all of her
That even Fancy dares to claim:
Her presence had made weak and tame
All passions, and I lived alone
In the time which is our own;
The past and future were forgot,
As they had been, and would be, not.
But soon, the guardian angel gone,
The daemon reassum'd his throne
In my faint heart. I dare not speak
My thoughts, but thus disturb'd and weak
I sat and saw the vessels glide
Over the ocean bright and wide,
Like spirit-winged chariots sent
O'er some serenest element
For ministrations strange and far,
As if to some Elysian star
Sailed for drink to medicine
Such sweet and bitter pain as mine.
And the wind that wing'd their flight
From the land came fresh and light,
And the scent of winged flowers,
And the coolness of the hours
Of dew, and sweet warmth left by day,
Were scatter'd o'er the twinkling bay.
And the fisher with his lamp
And spear about the low rocks damp
Crept, and struck the fish which came
To worship the delusive flame.
Too happy they, whose pleasure sought
Extinguishes all sense and thought
Of the regret that pleasure leaves,
Destroying life alone, not peace!

The Shortest Moment That The Butterfly Tries To Speak

how many flutters of its wings is its lifetime?
not a hundred, this butterfly with blue shaking lines on its wings
some dots of black on the lower tip
some flaps of dust as you hold it.

we love to see it freely hovering from one flower to another
blending with its colors, it is not trying to hide anything
beautiful, it is showing itself, beautiful butterfly,

how gentle, soft to our hearts as we watch it
there is no sound of its wings and its graceful feeding on the nectars
then it rests on a leaf. we leave it there.

the wind last night was strong.
we see the leaf where it stayed on the pebbled ground.
there are no wings. there is no trace where the blue butterfly is.

how many flutters did that butterfly make?
such a brief moment, yet so beautiful
that is the message of the life of its lost wings.

How to Die

Darkness looms
on folded wings
cold and undeniable.

But its flight stalls,
as life rages on.

Red Infection flares
in your pale blood,
your tired heart savaged
by thin assassins.

Should you go now
into Dylan’s good night
where faint stars
call softly to your wasted soul?

Yes

enter

the gentle void
deeply breathe dark waters,
and all your pain will drown
in a sudden flood of

Nothing

No

Your

fi erce soul shrinks
from this gracious night;

You fight for bitter light.

Raw pain is better
than vacuous rest
In death’s stark nest.

Set The Night To Music

Set the night to music
Set the night to music
Look at all the stars tonight, look at all the moonlight
Look at us were all alone
Oh and its just like a dream, some romantic fantasy
Darling come and hold, hold me close
We could be making love
And with the slightest touch
We could, set the night to music
We could set the night to music
We could do what we want to do
Itll only take me and you, to
Set the night to music
Find a rhythm all our own, melt into it nice and slow
Love ourselves away from here
Your heart beating next to mine, perfect love in perfect time
Watch the world disappear
This moment is ours to take (this moment is ours)
And with the love we make
We could set the night to music
We could set the night to music
We could do what we want to do
Itll only take me and you, to
Set the night to music
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah
This moment is ours to take (this moment is ours)
And with the love we make
We could set the night to music
We could set the night to music
We could do what we want to do
Itll only take me and you,
To set the night, set the night
Set the night to music
Set the night to music
We could set the night to music
We could set the night to music
We could set the night to music
Set the night, set the night, set the night, set the night...

Love Is Like A Butterfly

Love is like a butterfly
As soft and gentle as a sigh
The multicolored moods of love are like its satin wings
Love makes your heart feel strange inside
It flutters like soft wings in flight
Love is like a butterfly, a rare and gentle thing
I feel it when youre with me
It happens when you kiss me
That rare and gentle feeling that I feel inside
Your touch is soft and gentle
Your kiss is warm and tender
Whenever I am with you I think of butterflies
Love is like a butterfly
The multicolored moods of love are like its satin wings
Love makes your heart feel strange inside
It flutters like soft wings in flight
Love is like a butterfly, a rare and gentle thing
Your laughter brings me sunshine
Everyday is spring time
And I am only happy when you are by my side
How precious is this love we share
How very precious, sweet and rare
Together we belong like daffodils and butterflies
Love is like a butterfly
As soft and gentle as a sigh
The multicolored moods of love are like its satin wings
Love makes your heart feel strange inside
It flutters like soft wings in flight
Love is like a butterfly, a rare and gentle thing

From This Moment On

From this moment on you and me dear
Only two for tea dear from this moment on
From this happy day no more blue songs
Only hoopty-do songs from this moment on
For you got the love I need so much
Got the skin I love to touch
Got the arms to hold me tight
You got the sweet lips to kiss me good night
From this moment on, you and I babe
Well be riding high babe
Every care is gone
From this moment on

It's Love

Song

Hold on
If only for one more night
Take hold of me
And take flight
It's now or never!
Take my hand
Come fly with me
Up into the heavens!

What we leave behind,
The darkness and fears,
The love and the lust
We leave not only us

We take flight
We hold on
Embracing the sky
Exchanging our love!
Our souls are forever mixed
Into one
It's love
It's love
Across the universe

Tonight our darkness becomes
The fate of the world
The shimmer in your eyes
The passion in your heart
Take flight
With me
Hold tight
If only for one night
Our bodies hit the floor
No more will we feel pain
Tonight we will love

Talking:
(Everybody join hands
Everybody love your brother
Kiss your mother
And come together in peace with others
Don't hold back your tears
Cry together as one
Let no race or indifference get inbetween
Hold on tight
Let the love flow between us all)

All across the universe
All through our hearts
All together as one
All together!

It's love
It's love
Across the world
Taking its flight
Embracing our hearts
Everyone join together as one
Connect our hearts as one
Embrace the love together!

Touch

There's a fire in the sky
The stars are burning
Like this passion tonight
Slowly stirring
You and I
A way we've never known
Now we're here alone
You're the one in my life and
Nothing matters
More to me on this night than
Learning how do I love you
Til the morning light
Baby you and I
Hold me close
Fill me breathe
Touch my heart
Set it free and love will lead us
Lay me down
Lift me up
Feel the power
Every time we touch
Don't we wait all our lives
For such a moment
Soul to soul, eye to eye
And all our colors run
Toward one
Til there's no dividing light
Between you and I
Hold me close
Fill me breathe
Touch my heart
Set it free and love will lead us
Lay me down Lift me up
Feel the power
Every time we touch
Hold onto water
Hold to the tide
Love is an ocean
Love washes over
For you and I
As we dream
On the sea of desire
Hold me close
Fill me breath
Touch my hear
Set me free and love will lead us
Lay me down
Lift me up
Feel the power
Every time we touch
I have waited all my life
For this moment
For this moment

Discover ‘SILENCE ‘

I discovered a stunning stillness,
‘SILENCE’ a musical wave,
My thoughts dint appear beautiful than this time,
I felt, I regained my inner dead Emotions,
And now ponder more on …Silence’s Beauty...

Silence is a mystery,
And a magical union,
Silence is of soul and heart,
And mind’s internal peace,
Silence unite love with all creations,
And form attachment with all disclosed hearts.

Silence belongs to everyone,
It is beyond word ‘SILENCE’….
It inculcates an extreme essence to fasten together,
And embody a true peace and love within and around.

Silence is present every moment...
And it alerts you to open yourself towards life.
Silence is present every moment...
Within the stillness of nights and peace of early mornings
Silence is present every moment…
To intimate its appearance in all worldly needs.

Clumsy Hands

Life blossoms, from only a tiny rosebud,
A beautiful flower that is God's perfect design;
I tried to be gentle, to unfold the dainty petals
With these clumsy careless hands of mine.'
'The secret of unfolding the delicate flower
Is not known to numerous people such as I.
I opened this flower with love as power,
in my hands they tattered and emotionally did die.'
'So I couldn’t unfold God’s elegant flower,
As The aweosme design collapsed, within hours
Sadly, shocked, I realized, I lost all my wisdom
To enjoy the happiness of the earthly kingdom
Now the rugged path that lies before me
To unfold the moments of peace within me
Which is Covered with unseen pain around
God blessed me with many a friends so sound.
Uneasily the flower will blossom, with time again
God will not retire, let it be sun or pouring rain
Now each moment of my dawning day
God's Stars, silvery don’t fail to shine my way......

Salvation Sought

Alone in the dark my soul does weep,
My will to live is growing weak,
The sins of my heart clog my veins,
My blood runs slow I feel no pain,

Like death does prowl from in the dark,
To halt my pain with moves so stark.
To steal my essence and rob my eyes,
Of this dreamers melancholy disguise.

But wait! If the answers are so clear,
Why is my soul still wailing here?
My silent screams pearce the night,
Won't someone lead me to the light.

And then a sound from way on high,
True love I hear my soul does sigh.
An angel swoops with gentle grace
She carries me to a higher place.

I reach for her in my time of need,
My broken heart it starts to bleed.
For something new and oh so grand,
I crave the touch of her soft hand.

Tears once bitter now so sweet,
For her alone my heart does beat.
I cried alone into the night,
And fate sent you to be my light...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

While we are apart my love

While we are apart my love
~
My sweet Aphrodite
How it pains my heart to be without you
To miss your smile and laugh
To search my thoughts to remember
That glint in your eye
The full beauty I see you forever encased
What poems and songs
I name in you honour
The stars themselves a heaven above
Hold no more for me
That being there with you my love
Oh sweet girl I propose
To gift my heart to your hand
That your gentle touch mat hold
All I have and all I shall be
I count each passing minute
As a bane of time against me
Till I am with you once more

I write some lines and you read each word
A word excites you and you take it up to
Seed your fields where you grow your own
Shrubbery of words with tendrils climbing
I look at your garden of words and there is
This word growing into a flower attracting
Me I pick it up this sensual flower and I
Seed it in the lines of my mind now another
Bunch of words like ripe grapes I take one
Swallow it and savor the taste of its sweetness
More lines of words in my throat sliding
Through the lining of my esophagus so smooth
Going straight inside the veins leading to my heart
Sweet, so sweet I could have written the usual
Lines of “ I love you, I miss you” but I couldn’t
There is this roadblock, this writer’s block
The lines stopped, the words are stunted
I stutter, I retreat to my eyes, to see
The face of this woman I love, her eyes
Are gentle, she smiles at me, and waits
For this beautiful silence that gives her life
You stand there, looking for a hint, another
Word to seed the lines waiting to be written.

Kentikian

The rain of peace and the lamp-stand of gold,
To build up Rome and to polish her face;
For you are the rain of my hope and joy.

Swing up like a fish and catch up to my muse!
For love has its own symptoms and,
I will find a way to touch your heart with my love.

My sweet one,
Be perfect and be acceptable;
Because, i want to touch what is untouchable.

You are Kentikian and,
You are my sweet one;
For your fantasies do light up the skies!
And your meal of love is so delicious to taste,
But do think of the first day that we met.

To use what was once unusable and,
To eat what was once uneatable;
For the rain is all that gives me hope,
And i will be there for you always on this love.

Living in the Heart's Memory

A gentle touch upon the forearm
with a hand, gloved or warm with life,

outside the church door;
turning away from the open grave;
by that concrete place
where they lay the floral tributes
by the cemetery chapel;
or later, as you hand the food around;

a gentle touch upon the forearm
or a hand sought for to squeeze and hold; or
man to man, they favour a shoulder briefly gripped,
as if that’s the pressure point
where empathetic camaraderie should be applied;

the single sentence of consolation,
sometimes so well rehearsed, it comes out awkwardly –
‘she’ll be much missed…’
‘you have so many memories…’
‘he’ll always be there in our hearts…’
‘if there’s anything…’

they’ve been through this, themselves,
or fear the time they shall –

…‘words must be said,
but yet there are no words for this;
accept then, these few words
in lieu of that deep silence
which is itself in lieu of words…’

* * *

measured, immutable, as precise
as any equation of the calculated world,
the heart’s memories:
every moment that our heart in many years
opened to them, the heart has stored.

We know the mind can span the imagined world –
from travel brochures to the thought of heaven;
yet we forget that greater still, the heart is vast –
there’s all the room for them to live on there,
sustained by every moment of love freely given; for
the whole creation is one single act of love.

How beautiful! !

How beautiful this life is,
It keeps changing every moment
Welcome the new season
And forget the one that went

How beautiful this rain is
The sky is sprinkling love
Each heart is fluttering its wings
Like an innocent dove

How beautiful this moment is
It’s nothing on its own
But may grow into a great chronicle
The seed has just been sown

How beautiful this season is
Every flower is budding out
And my heart is blooming with them
After a long time of drought

How beautiful poetry is
That sitting at my office seat
I’m staring at the windows around
Just to make it complete; -)

How beautiful Sapient policy is
That you work on all 364 days
And don’t feel like doing it on one
In your manager’s books, it stays

How beautiful this industry is
It’s stays very kind with you
But it may kick you out
Suddenly out of the blue

How beautiful this conclusion is
It reflects my real pain
That I’m supporting my application
Even in this beautiful rain: -(.
