Wealth You Don't Treasure
Wealth you don’t treasure
As you have the key
To the endless pleasure
Of waking up from your dreams
In the middle of night
And tiptoeing to where
The grass is getting its first dew
Preparing the dark liquid
To break into a grey dawn!
Wealth you don’t treasure
As you feel happy in a golden morn
Not knowing why
You get up to go and stand
Quietly beneath a tree
And let your senses brim
With all the sight and sound
Feel the leaves dropp on your hair
In a silent symphony
Before they touch the ground!
Wealth you don’t treasure
As you have in good measure
Everything the wealth can’t buy
A priceless space all your own
For the most treasured dreams to be grown!

The supreme treasure is knowledge, the middle treasure is children, and the lowest treasure is material wealth.
Forms of Wealth
To money is attributed wealth
But the open truth of wealth
Is, It is not the only kind of wealth—
There are also other forms of wealth!
Good health is the best form of wealth
Forging rich links in relationships is wealth
Spontaneous love for all life forms is wealth
To have enthusiasm in life is wealth.
Acquiring life-long learning is wealth
Experience and wisdom in life is wealth
Meeting new people is also wealth
Visiting new places too is authentic wealth.
The quest to explore something is wealth
To have a positive mind-set is wealth
Existence of deep internal peace is wealth
Early morning waking up with joy is wealth.
Possessing high self-respect is wealth
Having strong spiritual connection is wealth
There exist so many types of wealth
Constitute all these and you're with full wealth!

In The Middle
IN THE MIDDLE
In the middle of the unending darkness that stretches on beyond forever
In the middle of the vast nowhere whose name has no shadow and no space
In the middle of all the generations whose anonymous past will be complemented by their overextended futures,
In the middle of the mass of nameless mankind featureless
In the middle of all that is and ever has been
In the middle of what was and will be always forever not
In the middle
In one small moment whose end is unpredictable
While the light still shines on the green green world
And the love and joy in the faces and hearts we care for still breathe
In the middle of the moment before consciousness is lost forever
Somewhere nowhere who knows where how
In the middle of all we are and will never be now
In the now of this life
I write these lines for all of us
Passing dreams
Beautiful great souls
True human beings
Better than me and you
And only me and you
For all of us
In the middle
Before the lights go out
And the endless darkness
Is silence and breathlessness
And nothing whatever real
We can feel or be.

Treasure Hunt
I've been around the world in my mind
Seeking treasures I did not find;
Chasing the rainbow on an endless trail
Just like a puppy chasing it's tail.
To the depths of the great blue sea
Seeking that which was hidden from me;
Just what is it I'm looking for?
When I find it, will I still want more?
What will fill my every need,
Turn my mind from ravenous greed;
What will satisfy my hunt for treasure?
What will overflow my life with pleasure?
Time flies by as I grow old
Still looking for that pot of gold,
Never once stopping to realize
It was always there before my eyes
A well marked trail in the form of a cross
Leading to treasures that will never be lost;
No sorrow, no greed, an endless life of pleasure,
The end of the rainbow with heavenly treasure.

Song III: It Grew Up Without Heeding
Love is enough: it grew up without heeding
In the days when ye knew not its name nor its measure,
And its leaflets untrodden by the light feet of pleasure
Had no boast of the blossom, no sign of the seeding,
As the morning and evening passed over its treasure.
And what do ye say then?--That Spring long departed
Has brought forth no child to the softness and showers;
--That we slept and we dreamed through the Summer of flowers;
We dreamed of the Winter, and waking dead-hearted
Found Winter upon us and waste of dull hours.
Nay, Spring was o'er-happy and knew not the reason,
And Summer dreamed sadly, for she thought all was ended
In her fulness of wealth that might not be amended;
But this is the harvest and the garnering season,
And the leaf and the blossom in the ripe fruit are blended.
It sprang without sowing, it grew without heeding,
Ye knew not its name and ye knew not its measure,
Ye noted it not mid your hope and your pleasure;
There was pain in its blossom, despair in its seeding,
But daylong your bosom now nurseth its treasure.

Scared Money
Come to my window
I'll leave it open
Sometimes a girl just needs fresh air
I have a garden
Do you like flowers
Just through the gates it is my world
Lets take a ride
You'll drive my car
We'll put the top down and name stars
I have this candy
My mother gave me
I'll share if you don't tell no one
I know you're afraid to come with me
But tonight I'm gonna present you with pleasure, with pleasure
See scared money don't make none
So role with me and I will be your treasure, your treasure
I know you're afraid to come with me
But tonight I'm gonna present you with pleasure, with pleasure
See scared money don't make none
So role with me and I will be your treasure, your treasure
It's rainng now
I'm soaking wet but I think I like it baby
It's hot in here
I'll make it clear that I really want you baby
I'm fighting porn and it's still morning
You make me leave my conscience baby
I'm not scared of truth or dare
But nothing is just nonsense baby
I know you're afraid to come with me
But tonight I'm gonna present you with pleasure, with pleasure
See scared money don't make none
So role with me and I will be your treasure, your treasure

The Bed of the World
The great bed of the world
arching over graves
over Babi Yar
with its multitude of bones,
with battalions of screams
frozen in a concrete glacier,
with pillows of earth
and comforters of green grass
covering all that dead flesh.
Dead flesh shall live again-
a dream in god's endless night-
rise green out of the earth
as grass, as trees, as tomato stalks
bearing a bright red fruit
and the feuds of man-and womankind
shall be fed again from the same seeds:
the tomato, the mythic pomegranate, the biblical apple
all rising from the grass that springs
out of the screams of stopped mouths.
Sometimes I dream
that my bed is built over a ravine,
the ravine of Babi Yar, any ravine
where thousands died
and I moan in pleasure to propitiate the earth,
to make fruit ripen
and trees wave green leaves like banners
all because love can touch me still.
It is never enough to create.
The beast must feed its meat teeth too.
Out of the screaming mouth of earth
we feed the grass that covers
all our beds.
I wish I did not know all that I know.
Galaxies spin, grass grows, and people kill.
We are the only race to murder for our dreams-
and not for hunger,
hungering for dreams

Restricted Area
High voltage in the air
No way to know its good or bad
Dont try to trick it down
Otherwise you could be dead
So just look out
It may be mean
Just cant be too afraid of this machine
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
Restricted area
Your brains been mesmerized
And in your mind this place is full of steel,
So full of steel
So shift to overdrive
Crash away the gang with the men from another space
So be aware
Just leave the scene
The worlds been metallized by this machine
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
The worlds been metallized
A hole in the middle of the night
Restricted area
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Its a restricted area
Hold on - hold on - hold on
Your brains been mesmerized
A hole in the middle of the night
In the middle of the night
Youre heavy metallized
A hole in the middle of the night

Private Universe
(neil finn)
No time no place to talk about the weather
The promise of love is hard to ignore
You said the chance wasnt getting any better
Labour of love is ours to endure
The highest branch on the apple tree
It was my favourite place to be
I could hear them braking free
But they could not see me
I will run for shelter
Endless summer lift the curse
It feels like nothing matters
In our private universe
I have all I want is that simple enough
Theres a whole lot more Im thinking of
Every night about six oclock
The birds come back to the palm to talk
They talk to me, birds talk to me
If I go down on my knees
I will run for shelter
Endless summer lift the curse
It feels like nothing matters
In our private universe
And its a pleasure that I have known
And its a treasure that I have gained
And its a pleasure that I have known
Its a tight squeeze but I wont let go
Love is on the table and the dinners cold
I will run for shelter
Endless summer lift the curse
Feels like nothing matters
In our private universe

It Was A Pleasure Then
It was a pleasure then
Could you just be here again
To know what there was to see
When all the sunday people
Where so quiet in the dark
Afraid to be better the next day
La la la ...
It was a pleasure then
When we could sit and stare again
Until the stars feel through the cloudy trees
Onto the grass
Stars to smile with us
Until they too had tears in their eyes
Tell us this and tell of how much we must not agree
It was a pleasure then
To see the dieing days again
In the horror of the night
Never, never, never, never, never, lise
Keep it secret
For to hide somewhere at last
As long as we could see
The sky confessed this crime
Of futile tasting hate romance
Above our shattered minds
It was a pleasure, it was a pleasure
La la la ...

To Dream or Not to Dream - Acrostic Sonnet
The spiral staircase leading down to dreams ~
Or is it up if there be “up” at all ~
Defines its own dimensions’ rise and fall,
Rephrasing day’s experience which gleams
Endlessly recyclying key-word themes
As this is magnified, or that made small.
Masks ~ common to the day ~ at night may fall.
Once shed, greet picture puzzle pattern schemes
Recording strange perceptions as light beams
Now here, now there, preparing waking call, ~
Options spurned, or choices learned withal ~
To tear sleep’s shawl, converting links. It seems
TO dream provides the oil that may inspire
DREAMs new to spin enquiring spirit higher.

Prisoner
`Prisoner, tell me, who was it that bound you?'
`It was my master,' said the prisoner.
`I thought I could outdo everybody in the world in wealth and power,
and I amassed in my own treasure-house the money due to my king.
When sleep overcame me I lay upon the bed that was for my lord,
and on waking up I found I was a prisoner in my own treasure-house.'
`Prisoner, tell me, who was it that wrought this unbreakable chain?'
`It was I,' said the prisoner, `who forged this chain very carefully.
I thought my invincible power would hold the world captive
leaving me in a freedom undisturbed.
Thus night and day I worked at the chain
with huge fires and cruel hard strokes.
When at last the work was done
and the links were complete and unbreakable,
I found that it held me in its grip.'

In This Middle Hour Of Night
In this middle hour of night,
It seems I'm well now,
As a cloudless sky...
My drawing room is filled,
With friends, we are laughing,
Talking, sharing jokes...
I'm very fine, in this middle
Part of night, the waking
Ghost, the talking skull,
Besmirched once is now
An age old rubbish of bean-bag...
We threw it in the garbage,
As the gutter's dirt.....
No, no devil's past slang!
We are now, praying for our soul...
At the end, we will have ambrosia.
Amen!

A Ring of Endless Light
I look around and see light
Cricling me around and around,
I dare not move for I wish I could
Stay here forever in the middle of
A ring of endless light
Dolphins come to swim with me
in the middle of the light
Loving, caring, they call to me
I close my eyes and listen
to the tales that they tell
but when I open my eyes I see
I'm alone in the middle of
A ring of endless light

My Eyes
Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would reveal to you…
How much they’ve waited for you
Waking every night
And crying every day
For years together
And decades of
Thirsting for you
In their every expression
Of silent words they say…
Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would tell you,
How they felt tired and lost
In their diurnal crusade
Of looking at the empty streets
Ahead
And hoping to see a glimpse,
A speck of that fleeting image
Of you and you and only you.
Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they would overflow with tears,
The moment they see their Beloved
In you
And they would narrate to you
In all Silence
How very much they missed
Seeing you…
When they opened
Their eyes every morning
After every night’s trial and error
Of falling asleep…
And then waking up
In the middle of the night
As if petrified of terror
Those broken dreams would cause
When they have to lose you
From their tranquil sleep to
The harsh, desolate reality
Of you not being there
For them.
Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For they have nothing good to tell you,
Besides the pain and the agony
Of a lifetime separation
They have undergone,
Missing you,
Needing you,
And loving you like Crazy.
As if you and me
Were lost parts of a Body
And fragmented pieces
Of a shattered Soul
Trying to solve the Jigsaw
Of where to fit in the parts
Of existence, love and
Togetherness…
So that once if they meet,
They don’t fall into pieces again
And scatter away
Like the withered leaves
Of the autumn trees
Missing each other
Unto eternity
And searching each other
Unto oblivion.
Don’t look into my eyes, my love
For if you ever look into them,
Make them yours forever...
So that wherever they go,
Whatever they seek
Whoever they see…
The roads don’t look empty
Any more
Even amidst the crowd
Of teeming strangers
For no matter who is there
On the streets
At home
In the market
Or the library
My eyes would rest awhile
Seek respite,
In the Assurance
Of the Sight
That You being there for them
To kiss a good night’s
“sweet dreams”
At the end of their
Daily sojourn
Of meeting people
Reading books
And writing poetry…
Like the way
I am writing to you now
With those very same eyes
That await you everyday, my love
In their dreams, desires
And those very Silent -
Endless flow of
Ceaseless tears…

Preparing To Fly
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
Im in love all over again
Im head over heels
I cant even begin
To tell you how it feels
She lives on a rock
Surrounded by light
Shes young and shes wild
And shes treating me right
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
I shed some light
I change my address
I havent felt so great
Since I first went west
Ive got brilliant intentions
Unthinkable plans
Ive got sparks and electric shocks
Just exploding from my hands
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
Im back in the saddle
Im out in the clear
I got no regrets
Ive got nothing to fear
Ive battled my demons
Come out on top
Im gonna love you as hard as I can
Never gonna stop
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream

Appear This Way
To appear this way returns pleasure,
House this treasure in the gaps
That open up along the way and to this day.
Mighty winds may let us fall from pleasure,
Calling the fairies to do their industry
On the living, on the fair and sane and pleasured.
These common creatures find happiness
Like us, the ones who are proud and efficient
In the ways of men, properties are like dreams.

Painted Dreams...
As sleep envelopes the mind, dreams commence,
The artist within paints the landscape of my dream.
A fantasy land of lush green grass and fresh summer blooms,
My spirit warmed by the golden rays of sunlight.
It is neither night nor day, but a timeless twilight,
A time that exists between the waking and the sleeping world.
My lifes story unfolds upon this canvas of painted dreams,
My hopes and fears, my lonliness, my dreams and all my desires.
All I have ever been, all that I could ever be,
A timeless portrate of a dreamers deepest desires...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Middle Of The Night

Middle of the night
Hold on till morning
We will see the light
Love is spawning
Middle of the night
Hold on forever
Well know when its right
All together
When will we listen
When will we ever learn
Read all about it
This tide has got to turn
Middle of the night
Hold on till morning
We will see the light
Love is spawning
Middle of the night
Hold on forever
Well know when its right
All together
Old folks and babys
Theyre crying in the storm
I tried to tell them
Soon theyll be safe and warm
Middle of the night
Hold on till morning
We will see the light
Love is spawning
Middle of the night
Hold on forever
Well know when its right
All together
Lord let us out of this hall full of mirrors
Make it all clearer
Dont let us fall
In the middle of the night
Middle of the night
New voices calling
Saying its alright
Im not falling
Middle of the night
Halfway till morning
Middle of my life
New days dawning
Middle of the night
Hold on till morning
We will see the light
Love is spawning
Middle of the night
Hold on forever
Well know when its right
All together
Middle of the night
New voices calling
Saying its alright
Im not falling
Middle of the night
Halfway till morning
Middle of my life
New days dawning
Middle of the night
Hold on till morning
We will see the light
Love is spawning
Middle of the night
Hold on forever
Well no when its right
All together

Winds bend the brown green grass of fall
Winds bend the brown green grass of fall
Whether in current age or decades past
Landscape gazers catch creatures storing seeds
Scattering yellow and white capped weeds
Preparing for winter their pattern unhindered
Winds bend the brown green grass of fall
Constant marker as mankind races
Ploughs terrain staking claim
Highways vanquish sod and plain
Yet tuffs of the brown green grass remain
Winds bend the brown green grass of fall
Off roadways geese settle and call
Despite cluttered asphalt the landscape recalls
Natures evolving, preparing and readying
For ice glistening cold when life sleeps through all
