Love in the Famished Land
The blazing sun sucks dry all tenderness
The famished landscape bares its ugly face
When others in conventional comforts rest
Here love faces its hardest test.
Love in this barren land seems insignificant
A morsel matters more where food is scant
The moribund clouds dried up in the firmament
Love is redundant here and suffers banishment…
I turn away from this land
Little knowing love fails no test
It spares not even the aridest sand
When the baby digs into mother's breast!

Two Fine People
Now that Ive passed your test
How can I prove to you baby Ill never let you down
If I led you around, Im sorry
But I never meant to worry you.... no
Now that Ive kissed your breast
How can I prove to you baby Ill never make you sad
If I ever had , do believe your tears tears wont come back again
I love you, though the stars may fade
And mountains turn into sand. I love you
til my body changes into an old man. I love you
And the song that I sing is the only way that I can explain
La la la la la la
You know I wish for you baby nothing but good times ahead
Anything that heaven can give you, I can give you instead
La la la la la la
How could I lie to you baby, Ill never lead you around
Ill take care of everything you need, darling
Every little needll be found. I love you
Thought the time may change and snowmen sleep in the sea
And I really only want you to want me. I love you
And the song that I sing is the only way that I can explain
Now that youve shown your heart
Ill be right with you baby, Ill never leave you alone
Anywhere you want me to be honey, Ill be there to have and to hold
And now that the clouds roll back, hold on to me baby
Were going never to land, flying on the power of love
Flying on the power of love. I love you
Though time may fade and mountains turn into sand
I love you, til the very same come back to the land
I love you and the song that I sing is the only way that
I can explain
Two fine people should love each other

Thats The Kinda Love I Got For You
(d. fletcher / d. parks)
From a mountain high to a valley low
Stronger than the strongest and even more
Running deep, as deep can go
And can even turn your darkest clouds to falling snow
Thats the kinda love I got for you, yeah
Thats the kinda love I got for you-hoo-oo
I cant help myself
I cant help myself
Oh, I love ya
Well, I just cant help myself
Like falling water on desert sand
Making flowers grow on barren land, yeah
Ever growin, growin long
Heaven only knows just how much it grows, ah
Thats the kinda love I got for you-oo
Thats the kinda love I got for you-hoo-oo
I cant help myself
I cant help myself
I love ya
Baby, I just cant help myself, no
Im playing with fire
Ive lost control, yeah
Oh this lovely feeling
Burns to my very soul
Burning hot, as hot as I can go
Cant seem to help myself
Just got to let you know
Thats the kinda love I got for you
Thats the kinda love I got for you-hoo-hoo
Thats the kinda love I got for you, baby
Thats the kinda love I got for, yeah
Oh, come and get it, honey
Cant help myself
This love of mine
Oh, its getting stronger
Cant help myself
Cant wait much longer, yeah
I feel it for you, yeah
Oh, thats the kinda love I got for you
Thats the kinda love I got for you, yeah
Thats the kinda love I got for you-oo
Thats the kinda love I got for you-hoo
Thats the kinda love I got for you, baby

Love Never Fails
Love is not proud,
Love does not boast,
Love after all
Matters the most.
Love does not run,
Love does not hide.
Love does not keep
Locked inside.
Love is a river
That flows through,
And love never fails you…
Love will sustain,
Love will provide,
Love will no cease
At the and of time.
Love will protect,
Love always hopes,
And love still believes
When you don’t.
Love is the arms
That are holding you.
Love never fails you….
When my heart
Wont make a sound,
When I cant turn back around,
When the sky is falling down,
Nothing is greater than this,
Greater than this…
Cause love is right here,
Love is alive.
Love is the way,
The truth,
The life.
And love is a place
You will fly to.
Love never fails you...

Traffic Jam: The Trap Of Traffic Light
It's not only test your luck, but also test your patience
It's not only test your guts, but also test your instinct
It's not only test your sanity, but also test your obedience to law
It's not only test your ethics, but also test your fidelity
It's not only test your sight, but also test your reflex
It's not only test your estimation of time, but also test your street knowledge
It's not only test your ego, but also test your kindness
It's not only test your control, but also test your awareness
It's not only test your attitude, but also test your responsibility
It's not only test your priority, but also test your humanity

Her...
I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if i'd,
make her my own,
and never let her go,
hug her tight,
treat her right,
act all polite,
take her on a date,
make sure i'm never late,
kiss her on her lips,
talk about our kids,
Make her feel like princess,
living in a castle,
hope that is not too much hassle,
But i am so blessed,
hope i can be the best,
hold you tight,
have your BR3A$t,
on my chest,
pass the test,
NOW YOUR MINE!

Express Yourself
(she takes him in her arms,
She kisses his face on the lips)
(one woman in the world,
One woman in many faces)
(she takes him in her arms,
She kisses his face on the lips)
Dont go for second best baby
Put your love to the test
You know, you know, youve got to
Make her express how she feels
And maybe then youll know your love is real
You dont need diamond rings
Or eighteen karat gold
Fancy cars that go very fast
You know they never last, no, no
What you need is a big strong hand
To lift you to your higher ground
Make you feel like a king on a throne
Make her love you till you cant come down
Dont go for second best baby
Put your love to the test
You know, you know, youve got to
Make her express how she feels
Then youll know your love is real
(one woman in the world,
One woman in many faces)
Long stem roses are the way to your heart
But she needs to start with your head
Satin sheets are very romantic
What happens when youre not in bed
You deserve the best in life
So if the time isnt right then move on
Second best is never enough
Youll do much better baby on your own
Dont go for second best baby
Put your love to the test
You know, you know, youve got to
Make her express how she feels
Then youll know your love is real
Express yourself
Youve got to make her
Express herself
Hey, hey, hey, hey
So if you want it right now, make her show you how
Express what shes got, oh baby ready or not
And when youre gone she might regret it
And think about the love she once had
Try to carry on, but she just wont get it
Shell be back on her knees
To express herself
Youve got to make her
Express herself
Hey hey
(one woman in the world,
One woman in many faces)
Dont go for second best baby
Put your love to the test
You know, you know, youve got to
Make her express how she feels
Then youll know your love is real
To express herself
Youve got to make her
Express herself
Hey hey hey hey
So if you want it right now, make her show you how
Express what shes got, oh baby ready or not
Express yourself
Respect yourself
Hey, hey
So if you want it right now, make her show you how
Express what shes got, oh baby ready or not
Express yourself
(one woman in the world,

Rock In The Weary Land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
None of this moves me,
I should be weeping but it only hurts when I yawn
I let it blow through me, and its gone!
Im dressed like a scarecrow
Stripped of all my power, as if some judge in judgement said
Off with his great coat, and his head!
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Meaningless movies
On the screen behind the band thats blowing flowing shapes
Half of their music is on tape
My mentor and champion is busy tilting at the windows of his stately home
The daemon hes grappling
Is his own!
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
His letter lies open
His accusations flow like poison from his every word
My heart would be broken, but for her
The fag-end of winter
Im in shock! Im on the ropes! I dont know whats become!
She plucks the splinter from my thumb
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
In the weary land!
My rock in a weary land
My rock in a weary land
My love is my rock in a weary land
My love is my rock in a weary land
In a weary land
Hey!
A rock in a weary land
A rock in a weary land
A rock in a weary land
My love is my rock in a weary land
My love is my rock in a weary land
My love is my rock is my rock in a weary land

Love Is Life
Maurice white, wade flemons & don whitehead
Have you ever, seen a flower
Tryin to bloom in a dry barren land
But then comes a sweet, sweet shower,
Just to lend a helping hand
Like the love of you & i
All at once it came alive
You brought love
And your love is life
Did you ever watch a mother and how tender
She teaches a child
And the birds in the treetop, how
They protect their young from the wild
Girl your love, it comforts me and
That's my security
You brought me love and
Your love is life
Oh oh oh...
Now this is a song of love
Let everybody sing along for love
Yea, yea, yea,

Land
Away from you,
Away from here
Away from you.
Stay for me..
Stay for me..
Stay for me..
Baby, Im really sorry, to break your dream, when its so early.
Headlights, on the windowpane,
Theyre getting lost, in the light of day.
Tomorrow is today, and soon my ship will sail
Away from here.. to walk a howling sealane.
Stay - for me your love is life for love is land
Baby, just hear my story, before I leave, before we write the end
Standing, across the ocean stream,
Ill need to know, Ill need your country then.
Tomorrow and today, you keep my landfall safe.
Away from here (away from here), to walk a howling sealane,
(away from you)
Stay for me (stay for me), I need your love to land.
Away from here (away from here), to walk a howling sealane,
(away from you)
Stay for me (stay for me), your love is life, for love is land.

(chorus)
Love is land..

Love is land..
Love is land..

Baby Love
Whoa whoa...you you yeah.
Whoa whoa...yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. whoa!
Seen your picture.
Called your name.
Cover story teenage magazine.
Wish I could phone you.
Wish you well.
And tell our secrets like we used to tell.
My baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember.
Baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
Ummmmm
Youre a star now.
Celebrity.
Have you forgotten how it used to be?
Wed play doctor
In the sand.
Do you remember back in childhood land?
Wish I could hold you
In my arms.
I miss your candy kisses and your charms.
Nobody loves you
The way I do.
Ill never find another girl like you.
My baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember.
Baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
Ummmmm
When Im lonely,
I can hear your voice inside,
Inside, cant hide.
And when I look up
Youre not anywhere.
I love you. you know it.
Wish that I could show it to
You you you.
My baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember.
Baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember.
Baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember.
Baby love.
Do you remember me?
My baby love.
I remember, you remember.

I remember, you remember.
Baby love. do you remember me?
Baby love. do you remember me?
I remember, you remember.
Baby love. do you remember me?
My baby love. I remember.

The Test
as sure as the sun rises in the east-and sets in the west
my love for you is just a test.
a test to see if my heart is true
a test to see if i deserve you.
a test to see if my love will rise to the occassion.
and feel the sensation.
the sensation of being with you-is all i want to do.
for true love is hard to find.
it is classified as 'devine.'

These Eyes
Written by Jackson-Yancy/Butler
Oh, Baby, sssss, oh, it's so good, hm, umm,
Umm, umm, umm, umm, umm, hm, get it, Baby, get it
You've been with me through the hardest times
And you've kept my heart, body, soul and mind together
(You, you, you) It's been us two against the world
It ain't been easy but we sho' made it together
Thanks to (you, you, you) you, you, you
All I wanna say is Baby (Baby) oh my Baby (Baby)
I love you (I love you, hoo, hoo) hoo, hoo
Oh, yeah, Baby (Baby) oh my Baby (Oh my Baby)
I love you, hoo, hoo (I love you, hoo, hoo)
Hoo, yeah, yeah
When my world had fallen to the ground
Your love was there always around
And I love you, and I love you, hoo, I love you, hoo, hoo
Ho, oh---, the world keeps changing in which we live
Sometimes people just don't have the time to give
That very special part of them that keeps our love together
Oh Baby, take my love, I hope you keep this forever
You (I love you) God bless you
(I love you) I love you (I really do)
Oh, hoo (Hey, hey and I love, I love you) I love you (I love you)
Yes I do, oh (I really do) its you, Baby, you, Baby, oh

For... they'll know who they are
If only love were finally, enough –
then you’d have no more fears:
look here, and listen: we have love
enough for you; and more; and more;
but how to prove that love’s indeed enough
beyond all doubts? Bring on the opposites;
try and test in fire and whirlwind, ice and storm,
that love alone remains;
for only when the chips are down
will love reveal, just what love really is:
containing every opposite that seems to rule the world:
fierce tenderness; and ruthless mercy; hate that only love creates;
love like we’ve never thought it; love, unendingly, enough.

Lay Me Down
I'm not mad at nothin' baby, try to understand
I don't care what happened yesterday, no
I'm just glad that you're so glad to see my face again
That's all that's important anyway
Chorus:
I believe the hardest part is over
Wakin' up without you everyday
Nothin' matters now that we're together
Lay me down and love the world away
We've no way of knowing baby how it's gonna end
Maybe we'll be sorry one more time
It just feels so good to me to feel so good again
I'll just lay my chances on the line
Chorus:
I believe the hardest part is over
Wakin' up without you everyday
Nothin' matters now that we're together
Lay me down and love the world away

You are the paradise on earth
Where things are not in any dearth.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
In Your Lap live men and women
Of every caste and religion.
You rain your love and affection
On them all without distinction.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
You have got a peculiar trait
Due to which you are very great.
You adopt the foreigners too,
Who like to live and die for you.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
You are beautiful, all perfect;
You are rich in every aspect.
In the ancient times, we have heard,
Aliens called you ‘a golden bird’
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
The mountains guard your honour here;
The ocean washes your feet there.
The rivers contain sweet water
Which for us is just like nectar.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
Our culture is ancient and high,
We are respected that is why.
Culture has bound us by and by,
With a chain of pure love and tie.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
We are sorry here live some men
Who are not loyal, but still then,
Pose as lovers of this nation,
Whom we do not like to mention.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
We are sorry here live some men;
Fire of hatred they ever fan.
Freedom, we fear, may not be lost,
Which we have got at a great cost.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
Let us be wise not to be tool
Of selfish powers which befool
Those who do not well understand
Their aim which is behind their stand.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
We will be lucky, if we die
For you, O Gracious Country High!
We’ll give them a fitting reply,
Who see you with a slanting eye.
O Mother Land! O Mother Land!
You are very dear and rare land.
