Bared and Alone
In a translucent twilight zone
I find myself all alone
In the mirror only my face
Loneliness I lovingly embrace!
Madly I listen to the silence
The only thing that makes sense
Thoughts uninhibited and random
Pour out, here they find freedom!
In the world outside what’s uncouth
Is unshackled here, like hidden truth
There’s no prose, it’s all wild verse
The mask is irrelevant, there’s no farce!
My unbridled self at the twilight zone
Loves to come out, bared and alone
Bored of the rules framed by the sane
It finds itself free from the bondage of pain!

Danger Zone
Ooh, I wrote you a letter,
And you never sent a reply.
Its a shame, always money or power,
And it doesnt really matter what you think.
Oh, Id give you all I had to give,
Over and over again.
While the government hides its head in the sand,
We live in a danger zone.
Were living in a danger zone.
Youre living in the twilight zone.
Watch out, fall out, gonna get ya, check it out.
All the sad politicians
Hold the world in the palm of their hands.
Its a lie, just an old film on the late show,
In the end everybody dies.
Ooh, Ill give you all I have to give,
Over and over again.
Oh, when will we get it into our heads?
We live in a danger zone.
Were living in a danger zone.
Youre living in the twilight zone.
Watch out, fall out, gonna get ya, check it out.
Were living in a danger zone,
Youre living in the twilight zone.
Whats wrong with solar power? (no profit)
Money money money makes me sick,
You cant get enough of it, of it.
Were living in a danger zone,
Youre living in the twilight zone.

Twilight Zone
The rain is all over, its only stopped for an hour
And I stop you, and I stop you
When you go too far
And you stop me when I go too far
And it tried to freak me
But I should have known
Its not the twilight zone no, its not the twilight zone
Yes its just a party phone, pure honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb
You tried to take me in a slow poke draw
Like the cowboy wished
And you got just what you saw
Well, you got what you saw
Didnt you get, didnt you get, didnt you get
So, dont let it freak you
When, when it gets down to the bone
You know its not the twilight zone, its not the twilight zone
Its just a party phone, and honeycomb, honeycomb
Its not, its not the twilight zone
Its just a party phone
Honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb
(spoken):
Its not, its not the twilight zone
Its just a party phone
And honeycomb, ya!
You know its not the twilight zone
Its, its just a party phone
Honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb
You know what it is
Just a party phone, party, phone
Honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb, honeycomb
Hmm, hmm, hmm
Honeycomb, honeycomb
Honeycomb

Danger Zone
Revvin up your engine
Listen to her howlin roar
Metal under tension
Beggin you to touch and go
Highway to the danger zone
Ride into the danger zone
Headin into twilight
Spreadin out her wings tonight
She got you jumpin off the deck
And shovin into overdrive
Highway to the danger zone
Ill take you
Right into the danger zone
Youll never say hello to you
Until you get it on the red line overload
Youll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go
Out along the edges
Always where I burn to be
The further on the edge
The hotter the intensity
Highway to the danger zone
Gonna take you
Right into the danger zone
Highway to the danger zone

Out Of Mind Travels
If one chooses to venture into the woods,
Without a guide and alone.
Because of pride one hides,
Without admitting a fear felt inside,
Condoned on one's own.
That choice to be made,
Is theirs alone.
And yet,
With a foolishness decides to continue...
By pushing concerned voices aside!
The experience of this,
Will either make one quickly grow.
Or quicken the end...
Of a stubborn mind that goes...bye bye.
Never to be comprehended or understood!
With a communication seen done publicly...
But,
With self throughout one's neighborhood.
Some people observed seem to enjoy,
These out of mind travels by themselves.
And stuck,
In a rut with the walls built up!
In a twilight zone to stay.
And stuck,
In a rut with the walls built up!
In a twilight zone to stay.
And stuck,
In a rut with the walls built up!
In a twilight zone to stay.
In a twilight zone to stay.
In a rut with the walls built up!

Prisoner
Whoa oh prisoner
My pretty oh oh prisoner
A black ocean is the sky above
Tiny lights bob what star you from
Trapped in material plane
She wants to fly and they think she's insane
But she knows what she know
Give that girl wings and that's all she wrote
Twilight zone twilight zone I'm
Floating in the dark alone and
Is there any love out here let me know
A laser lights the top of my dome
Then through my body
As if Scotty's
Beaming up a wayward soul
Mutant races in an ancient universe
Dark shadows humans rhymin' in a reggae verse
It's gone if you blink
I can see it as soon as you think it
Dancehalls crystal balls
On sidewalk malls
Psychic people outdoors reading palms
I believe that you know more
To survive the dimension is four
oh oh prisoner
my pretty oh oh prisoner
Look at the way she's searching
Trapped in a world that's hurting
So bad it makes her cry
But i won't let her say goddbye

Steppin In A Slide Zone
I took a ride in a limousine
I took a road Id never been
I met a stranger by the way
His coat was torn but his eyes were clear
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin in a slide zone
He told me where a river flows
He showed me how the apple grows
He told me of a magic stream
His face was worn but his eyes were clear
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin in a slide zone
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin through a time zone
He went to find a shooting star
Around the bend thats where they are
I went along just for the ride
Suddenly I began to glide
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin through a time zone
The air raced by there was no sound
We drifted high above the ground
And then said you know this place
And then a smile lit up his face
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin in a slide zone
Standing in a slide zone
I could be steppin through a time zone
I turned my head and looked below
And there was something there I know
Suddenly I began to fall
I looked around and tried to call
Standing in a slide zone
He had me steppin in a time zone
Standing in a slide zone
Falling through a time zone
Help me please I thought I said
Then something happened in my head
Music came from all around
And I knew what I had found
Standing in a slide zone
Falling through a time zone
Steppin in a slide zone
He had me falling through a time zone

Go Zone
Once I need relaxation
Need to get some r n r
(thats rest and recreation)
Dont need no vacation
I dont have to go that far
(Ive got better things to do with my money)
Dont need no private eye
Forget the fbi
cause when the beaver sings
Look out Im closing in
Chorus:
In the go zone, ready to fly
In the go zone, standing up high
In the go zone, down on the block
In the go zone, ready to rock
Down down down in the go zone
Got to have my candy
Got to have my sugar sweet
(I wanna give you a treat)
Giving you directions
You dont have to use your feet
(were on the same street baby)
Youve got to travel south
South of my hungry mouth
And there youll find a friend
Until the bitter end
Chorus
What are you gonna find down there?
There aint no red light district
Get yourself a ticket to the -
Chorus
In the go zone, leave me to die
In the go zone, standing up high
In the go zone, down on the block
Go zone, ready to rock
Down down down in the go zone

The Comfort Zone
Where do we go
When theres a need to be loved
Like you need to be loved
Oh, Ill let you know
Just what to do and where to go
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
After a hard days work
Theres one thing to be certain of
This ol familiar love
Its not unusual to find that its sensual
Its all you need to let go
Theres no need to try
Or compromise
Or settle for another outside of my love
The thing to do
When you get through
Heed the message seek the comfort of my zone
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
Hey let me make you comfortable
Let me take control
And give your mind a break from the day you made
Lets turn the lights down low
And oh the rest you know
Ill be here for you
cause you just stepped into the comfort zone

Memories Of Hope
A twilight zone of hope,
of memories of the past
come flooding across a sea of doom
Maybe it's because
I was only nineteen,
I don't know but...
I don't remember war
I don't remember hate
I don't remember violence on our streets
All I remember is love for my fellow human
A twilight zone of hope
of memories of the past,
Maybe it was just a dream

Twilight
I look into his eyes, there are closed
But I see something.
A teacher told me why, I laugh
When old men cry.
My body grows and grows,
It fightens me you know.
The old man tried to walk me home.
I thought he should have known.
Twilight,
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, night and day.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).
Im running in the rain.
Im caught in a late night play.
Its all and everything.
Im soaking through the skin.
Twilight, darkened day.
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).

Danger Zone
Shaking off the tresholds of a long forgotten dream
And you just can't make it last
Coaching paradise on a personal line
But you get fired to fast
And you lie, memories drifting by
Love don't make it on those pin-striped nights
When you're looking through someone's disguise
You can't make it alone, so you gotta make a move
But you're looking at nobody's eyes
Well that's love, or maybe love come and go
Looking for love is a danger zone
Love don't go begging in the danger zone
You won't get nothing from the danger zone
Tales that you tell from the stories that you'll hear
And you'll get what you can while you may
Don't understand when you're looking for a dame
But it's only a heartbreak away
And you'll learn, faking has no return
No way when you're feeling that way
Will your feet get caught up in the crowd
And the song that you sing is too soft to be heard
But your speakers are way too loud
Like the pain, loving is no big game
Looking for love is a danger zone
No don't go living in the danger zone
You won't get nothing from the danger zone
Don't take no chances in the danger zone
Love don't go begging in the danger zone
No don't go living in the danger zone
You won't get nothing from the danger zone
Don't take no chances in the danger zone
Love don't go begging in the danger zone

It Doesn't Come Easy
Into a zone I own and claim.
And not only am I featured...
But I'm there in every scene.
Into a zone I own and claim.
And it took me quite a while,
To establish my own style.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
No matter who depicts,
What the picture represents.
It doesn't come easy...
To decide and get the nerve to play ball.
With thoughts of getting rid,
Of any suspect competition.
Into a zone I own and claim.
With thoughts of getting rid,
Of any suspect competition.
Into a zone I own and claim.
With thoughts of getting rid,
Of any suspect competition.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
No matter who depicts,
What the picture represents.
So many find their comforts in like minds.
Hoping that all will agree,
To their wants and spoiled needs.
Into a zone I own and claim.
With thoughts of getting rid,
Of any suspect competition.
Into a zone I own and claim.
With thoughts of getting rid,
Of any suspect competition.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
No matter who depicts,
What the picture represents.
Into a zone I own and claim.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
Into a zone I own and claim.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
Into a zone I own and claim.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall at all.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall...
At all.
At all.
At all.
It doesn't come easy,
To get up from a fall...
At all.

Let The Good Times Roll
Now here's an invitation
It's on page 33
Attractive and exciting female
Must be looking for someone like me
Looking through your magazine
Now here's a cryptic clue
Yes the river is swollen
This one could be, could be for you
Come on lover pickup the phone
02900 in the Twilight Zone
Oh she let's the good times roll
Come on baby now free my soul
Oh she lets the good times roll
Heat it up and just let me go
A knight in shining armor
Honest and sincere
That's the way I'll word it now
Oh! plus a good career
Sticky situations
They will fade away
Place an ad in this column
And find a love you pray
Come on baby pick up the phone
Dial my number in the twilight zone
Oh she lets the good time roll
Take it real fast or you can take it slow
Oh she let's the good time roll
Just pump it up now let me go
[INSTRUMENTAL]
* Oh she lets the good times roll
She takes it fast or you can take it slow
Oh she lets the good times roll
Now heat it up babe just don't let go
* Repeat and fade out

Loneliness Game
She could have anything
But still shes down
The happiness that means everything
Is not around
On the outside
It looks like a perfect world
Inside I know what youre thinking
Shes too pretty to be sad
Shes too rich to cry
Shes no different
Shes just the same
No ones left out of this loneliness game
She cant find her way out of the loneliness game
No she cant find love
Pearls dont mean a thing
When loves not there
No gold or diamond rings
Can stop the tears
From the outside
You couldnt feel her pain
Inside I know what youre thinking
Shes too pretty to be sad
Shes too rich to cry
Shes no different
Shes just the same
No ones left out of this loneliness game
She cant find her way out of the loneliness game
No she cant find love
In the loneliness game, the loneliness game
She lies awake at night
Alone in silence
She reaches for the light
And waits for guidance
Shes too pretty to be sad
Shes too rich to cry
Shes no different, shes just the same
No ones left out of this loneliness game
She cant find her way out of this loneliness game
No she cant buy love
In the loneliness game, the loneliness game ...

Danger Zone
New York is a real cool town
society really brings me down
our playground is a pharmacy
kids find trouble so easily
other countries are just as bad
the Soviets really make me mad
on the boulevard where the police hide
let's steal a car for a joyride
they say you're just an awkward kid
you flipped your lid you flipped your lid
you love wine like they love cash
feel your rage spread like a rash
you flipped your lid you flipped your lid
you flipped your lid you flipped your lid
they say you're just an awkward kid
you flipped your lid you flipped your lid
all alone in the danger zone
danger zone danger zone
all alone in the danger zone
danger zone danger zone

Fashions are a passing phase for friend Jon London
I read your words with greatest care
and try to see your point of view
Although sometimes I must declare
I find it difficult to do.
I hesitate to criticise.
Aware the fault may lie with me.
Nor dare I offer you advice.
You might resent it bitterly.
The messages you try to send
to me lack simple clarity
I cannot see what you intend.
It makes no sense at all to me.
Your random thoughts lack coherence
They’re neither poetry nor prose.
An unintended consequence
of fashions changing I suppose.
The way that poetry is taught
in schools and colleges today.
They do not know although they ought.
Anything goes is not the way.
Most modern so called poetry
can only be poetic prose
Although it’s written beautifully
Opinions differ I suppose.
I’ll stick to formal poetry
Perhaps I need the discipline
that rhyme and meter gives to me.
And free form verse I will decline.

A Disciple of Christ
When you cleave onto God’s Word, the Truth of God that you heard,
And choose to follow Jesus Christ, allowing God’s Word into your life,
You then become a disciple of, The Lord and Savior and God above.
Only in Christ, are men truly free, with a freedom that spans Eternity.
It is a freedom which begins inside, when in Jesus Christ you abide.
In God’s Word is revealed proof, that Jesus Christ is the Living Truth.
Knowing this Truth sets men free; that is sinful men like you and me,
From the bondage we’re now in, the hidden bondage that we call sin.
As this Truth you’ve come to know, within your heart begins to grow,
You dear friend indeed will find, frees both your heart and your mind.
You will know just why Christ came, and endured the cross of shame,
With The Truth you can reason why, our Lord Jesus Christ had to die.
Friend, every heart that Christ frees, The Lord above fills with peace,
And His Truth supplies the Light, to lead you out of the darkest night.
Because this Truth is The Light, it’s the only way that’s eternally right.
The Way, the Truth and Life is but one, Jesus Christ, God’s Only Son.
This Truth my friend is Jesus Christ, Truth which leads to Eternal Life.
That is why only Christ can say; He is The Truth, The Light and Way.
Today embrace The Word of God; Truth will guide the path you trod,
Make His Word a part of your life, and you will be a disciple of Christ.

sad indeed,
there are other freedoms
still
freedom from having no ideas, from this dryness,
freedom from having you
as a poet on forced wit and half-cooked cleverness
freedom from a reader
who has nothing to offer
except his own loneliness
his having nothing to do
freedom from beng bored
to death
freedom from having nothing
to say and comment
freedom from this feeling of emptiness
this bigotry
this indigestion of dumb thoughts
freedom
from impertinence, immateriality, irrelevance,
freedom from thinking about freedom
freedom from freedom itself
there are more
freedom from pain
is useless now
that you are dead.
