Through Sad Eyes
Through Sad Eyes
Starved and restricted
Born in a concentration camp
Never celebrated a birthday
Never attended a party
The only music
A mother's tears
Shackles of politics
It could have been me...

Your Racist Friend
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend
It was the loveliest party that Ive ever attended
If anything was broken Im sure it could be mended
My head cant tolerate this bobbing and pretending
Listen to some bullet-head and the madness that hes saying
This is where the party ends
Ill just sit here wondering how you
Can stand by your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
You and your racist friend
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend
Out from the kitchen to the bedroom to the hallway
Your friend apologizes, he could see it my way
He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking
Cant shake the devils hand and say youre only kidding
This is where the party ends
I cant stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you
But I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend

Happy Birthday
You know it doesnt make much sense
There ought to be a law against
Anyone who takes offense
At a day in your celebration
cause we all know in our minds
That there ought to be a time
That we can set aside
To show just how much we love you
And Im sure you would agree
It couldnt fit more perfectly
Than to have a world party on the day you came to be
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
I just never understood
How a man who died for good
Could not have a day that would
Be set aside for his recognition
Because it should never be
Just because some cannot see
The dream as clear as he
That they should make it become an illusion
And we all know everything
That he stood for time will bring
For in peace our hearts will sing
Thanks to martin luther king
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Why has there never been a holiday
Where peace is celebrated
All throughout the world
The time is overdue
For people like me and you
Who know the way to truth
Is love and unity to all gods children
It should never be a great event
And the whole day should be spent
In full remembrance
Of those who lived and died for the oneness of all people
So let us all begin
We know that love can win
Let it out dont hold it in
Sing it loud as you can
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Ooh yeah
Happy birthday...
We know the key to unify all people
Is in the dream that you had so long ago
That lives in all of the hearts of people
That believe in unity
Well make the dream become a reality
I know we will
Because our hearts tell us so

Our birthdays were close together
We always celebrated our birthdat together. My birthday was the 16 of August. And Arthur birthday was the 22 of August. My mother would always have a cake for the two of us. Even the kind that I loved. She would never forget. That is one of the things I loved about my mother. written and Posted 8/15/09 In the memory of my mother Esther Feber Klayton

I knew a girl
I knew a gorgeous blonde girl that thought
that she was stuck to her thirties
and some injections,
some erotic exercises,
and plastic surgery
made her curves shapely,
her boobs firm
and her face younger
than her years
and when she was forty nine
everybody celebrated her birthday
and believed that she was thirty three
and time and the mirror
and every one was stunned
and had a great lot of fun
at that birthday party.

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Well, its time to celebrate your birthday, it happens every year
Well eat a lot of broccoli and drink a lot of beer
You should be good and happy that theres something you can eat
A million npeople every day are starving in the street
Your daddys in the gutter with the wretched and the poor
Your mamas in the kitchen with a can of cycle four
Theres garbage in the water
Theres poison in the sky
I guess it wont be long before were all gonna die
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Well, whats the matter little friend, you think this party is the pits
Enjoy it while you can, well soon be blown to bits
The monkeys in the pentagon are gonna cook our goose
Their fingers on the button, all they need it an excuse
It doesnt take a military genius to see
Well all be crispy critters after world war iii
Theres nowhere you can run to, nowhere you can hide
When they drop the big one, we all get fried
(come on boys and girls, sing along, ok? )
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Wow! (background screaming, sound effect)
Well theres a punk in the alley and hes looking for a fight
Theres an arab on the corner buying everything in sight
Theres a mother in the ghetto with another mouth to feed
Seems that everywhere you look today theres misery and greed
I guess you know the earth is gonna crash into the sun
But thats no reason why we shouldnt have a little fun
So if you think its scary, if its more than you can take
Just blow out the candles and have a piece of cake
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Wow!
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
(happy birthday!)
And a pinch to grow an inch!

Shallow Questions
after dinner
the birthday party of her spinster sister
the usual fried chicken and rice
long noodles for long life
an imagery
of so much superstition
some yellow mangoes
sweet sour
red wine on the table
some fine classic glasses
a toast of
her having to have another year
of boredom
some questions after some drinks
a little drunk he must be
some personal questions as he carries his baby
the mother is lazy i think
and they must have quarreled with her mother-in-law
i don't mind
i keep my own mind
there are other concerns
but he is drunk now and asks me
why i don't go to church on Sunday for the mass
i evaded such a lousy question
an interference on my religious belief
my own convictions
God is somewhere and has a permanent residence
In my heart in my mind in my body in my soul
etcetera
but it is the dinner birthday party of her very lonely spinster sister
i beg away from a drunken discussion
about God and Politics
No heated debates this time of the year
this moment of happiness on a birthday like this
Jokes and light matters
Feathery and Smooth and Comfortable must be the theme
and Points of Convergence
i shift to something life.
'Hey, you have grown more hair, my friend'
we laugh. That i think, is a happy ending.

Isolation: 25 June 2010
The people are all excited whereas I feel like sh*te;
There's a birthday-bash at Jenny's gaff tonight.
The sun is setting down but her home has brightened up.
Everyone will be there, each with their own plastic-cup
To drink from, eat some cake, and sing the birthday song;
It's a party we've been waiting for all year long.
I think of my friends arriving there, even Alan my dream man,
The birthday-girl greeting them and bringing their own cans.
But I am at home, staring at the stars with tears in my eyes.
I wasn't even invited, to my surprise.
On Facebook, she'd told me that her party was 'full',
Which, to anyone with a mind, was just a load of bull.
It was because I loved her that she didn't want me there.
I'd never felt so left out - it just isn't fair!
I have taught myself a lesson and she has lost my respect.
And because she's caused me such deep isolation,
Her dignity, to me, has been permanently fecked.

Shackles Of Fear
Shackle bounded
Bounded by shackles
Shackles of fear
They confine these hands
Shackles of fear
They bind these feet
Bound by shackles of fear
My mind is overdosed
My heart it beats slow
My eyes are wide shut
Lord God please
Release these shackles that hold me in captivity
Lord God please
Break these shackles that hinder me
Please God don't let my fear be the end of this journey
I'm shackle bounded
Bounded by shackles of fear
And I fear the release of my bounded shackles
These shackles they hinder me

Birthday Boy
He bought himself a present
and tied it with a bow.
He celebrated all alone
because no one else did know
when he was born or how many candles
would be placed upon his cake.
And when he opened his present
there was no one there to make
a birthday celebration
or anything like that.
But when he opened up his gift
inside there was a hat,
and streamers and a horn,
just so he could remember
when he had been born.

Mother, Unreplaceable Woman
When I was made,
And suddenly born in to this world,
From mother's belly,
And breath my first air, , ,
Grateful that I can saw how beautiful,
My mother face with a glittering tears,
Carried me with happiness,
And that's the first time I feel calm, , ,
Protected and be loved, ,
And finnaly grew older,
Be a nice girl,
Against the world on own,
Cause mother's tolds,
not Fairy tales, but some act, , ,
But it just make me remember,
How old you are,
Look at the way,
And cried with all that misery, , ,
But kept still strong,
Never be wrong,
And try to go on,
Never give it up, , ,
You teach me, sing to me,
Tell me when I was wrong,
Help me to understood,
Always on my side, , ,
This day, I remembering,
Fifty Three Years has passed,
13 November 2008,
I circle it on the date note, , ,
You've been here along that journey,
Across that many barrier and challenge,
Go around the world to see,
For more knowledge and study,
At this 13 November 2008,
The rain falling,
followed by my said,
From the far at upstairs,
'Happy Birthday, My Mother, Hope The God Always Be Yours Side'
(For My Mother Birthday, Thank You For My Mother That
Cried When She Read This Poem... I Love You, Mother...)

Maria And Victoria Play Date
Excited to see me they waited anxiously by door,
within minutes a make believe land was on the floor.
Maria hid Razel right away, hiding her for the rest of the day.
Then of course Victoria would play,
pretend games with Victoria and doll Melodie Mezoree’.
Years later I would give a party for real,
it would be Victoria’s birthday party in the Wisconsin hills.
Again Razel puppet would be hidden and not to be seen,
she would freeze the party for she was mean.
I took photos to remember this time,
a birthday celebration for Victoria
with sister Maria and friends that were kind.
Friends had to find magical treasures
and break the ice spells cast,
Say “Happy Birthday to Victoria”
while she sat in birthday chair at last.
Birthday cake was blown out
and presents opened all about.
More photos were taken of Victoria, Maria and friends
to remember the Birthday Celebration of playing pretend.

You are my Hero,
and my inspiration
You have made me proud Sister
in the entire Universe.
May you keep making me prouder.
Happy Birthday to you! !
Happy Birthday Brother
You have given me the courage,
to dream the most impossible,
and given me the strength,
to fight the greatest disasters,
and win the battle of my Life.
May all the Sisters have a brother like you.
Happy Birthday to you! !
Happy Birthday Brother
You have granted me the opportunity,
to leave the hell,
and live in the heaven,
Happy Birthday to you! !
Happy Birthday Brother
You stole your dreams,
To fulfill your families need.
Yet you reached the top of your aim.
Your victory is a lesson for the ones who,
Give up on their dreams.
Happy Birthday to you! !
Happy Birthday Brother
You have given a little Girl,
a beautiful life,
Without you,
Which might have been just a dream.
