Angel in Transit

I arrived at the airport under dark
Overcast skies. I had a night flight to catch
From Amsterdam to Budapest.

And as I waited
Through the small hours,
The Schiphol Airport
Became quite deserted.

I felt lonely and sad.
My wife just died
And I was depressed.

I waited for my plane
In an almost empty waiting room
When suddenly, to my great surprise,
A pretty young woman seated herself
Next to my chair.

I found this rather strange
Because all the benches around us
Were unoccupied and I wondered
Why she chose to sit nearby.

She was silent but I started to talk to her.
After a while I told her my story
And she began to comfort me
With warm and compassionate words.

At some point I gathered courage
And asked her why she sat next to me.
She looked at me with a gentle smile and said:
'I don't know'.

Yet I felt a mysterious presence
And in her eyes I saw glowing diamond rays
Of solace, tenderness and love.

She stayed there for about 20 or 25 minutes.
Then she rose, gave me a hug, kissed my face
And walked away to board a plane.

Lonely Comin Down

I woke up this morning in a strange place
I looked into the mirror at a strange face
Then I looked for you but you could not be found
And then I felt the lonely comin down
I walked across the room to the empty bed
Saw the imprint on the pillow where you laid your head
The presence of you still lingered all around
And once again I felt the lonely comin down
Then I felt the lonely dripping down my face
As I realized no one could take your place
I wondered where the love had gone that we had found
And then again I felt the lonely comin down
I wondered where the love had gone that we had found
And again I felt the lonely comin down
Mmm...

Supergirl, Remember Me?

The first time we met, she stood before me,
She spoke just as I was looking,
Not knowing her before that time.
She was suddenly so close to me,
There and merely a few feet from me,
Her face deserving more fascination,
As my mind took in her every word.
I hadn't heard the first words at all,
My eyes taking in her super beauty...
The twisting curling waterfalls,
Her precious cascading golden hair...
Her blue eyes looking straight at me,
As if I held some importance to her...
Her sweet lips moved quite quickly,
Her words bombarded my ears,
Suddenly my mind understood...
And I asked her, 'Please start over...'

She looked confused at that request,
But I explained how she affected me,
She smiled at my honest compliment,
Yet she needed some information...
How strange that my answer was so easy,
I could have told her in seconds,
But then she'd say farewell and be gone,
Thus not fitting love's purpose...
I asked if I told her, would I see her again?
Would she soon return to talk once more?
Or would she never return, leaving me,
Forever like this, being affected by her...
'Tell me what I need to know...' she said,
'I will return to you soon, right here...
We can talk! ' she promised, with a smile,
A smile that took my breath away...
In seconds, being told, she left me, lonely...

I waited there as the hours passed...
Returning each day with a rose bouquet
Of red, yellow and blue roses for her.
Days passed, then I saw her flying overhead.
'Supergirl, remember me? ' I shouted to her...
In a heartbeat, she stood beside me...
She kissed my lips, said, 'TOMORROW! '
Then she and the roses were gone...
Today has come... her promise kept...
She kissed me again, lifting me high...
Then clear across the pure blue sky...
Landing together, some private place...
Walking hand-in-hand upon that beach,
With me thinking it but a dream,
Yet too beautiful for a dream to be,
Because that's how it felt to me...

Love all consuming, engulfing,
Surrounding, swirling, revolving,
Involving every heightened sense,
Controlling every heartfelt hope...
I wondered if she felt that way
Upon this brilliant sunshine day,
That Supergirl could like me, too,
Maybe someday say, 'I love you! '
Undeserving of this Supergirl,
Yet somehow love returned...
What luck is this in all the world,
This joy I haven't earned?
She speaks of Krypton far away,
A distant world so grand...
Yet there she stands upon my left,
As we walk hand-in-hand...

711 Story

I was in NYC on the street Lexington Ave.
This street is close to Madison
known for it’s high class ads.
I was there in hotel room number 711,
believe me it was no peaceful heaven.
I was up all night with noise from a truck,
Up on the 7th floor is where I was stuck.
Tired I missed my bus the next day,

I was very late to airport JFK.
Luckily a unlucky girl from MN was there,
She was crying hysterical without a care.
We rebooked our flight out of Washington D.C.
driving to DC airport before that plane did leave.
On the drive unlucky girl did complain,
about the morning and everything.
I told her I lived on gambling for 7 months

and when I travel I had so much luck.
When we got to the airport
the plane number did change,
so I called on my cell phone to rearrange,
who would pick me up at the last minute to spare,
the lady announced the new flight number,
but I was still unaware.
Until I boarded the plane,

did I realize all the numbers were all the same.
My room number was 711,
along with the time message was left on my phone,
even the number on the plane ride home.
They all were my Lucky 711
which made me think of 911.
when that catastrophe had struck,
Luckily none of my friends in NYC

did get hurt or stuck.
Years later I lived at a 711 address,
I also had an accident at that number
on a different street I do confess.
I ended up fine without a mess.
Now is 711 meant to be?
and should I play the lottery?
Now when 711 ever crosses my mind,
I try to save it in my diary in that point in time.

my little sister's GONE: (

She was five when her sister left
And with her gone she felt like she experienced death
She was too young to even know what that meant
Apart for seven months is what they spent
Her older sister was her best friend
She always looked up to her
Her smile she would always lend

She witnessed drugs
Barely given a hug
Barely shown any love
And just when she lost hope
Her sister would always show up
At the most needed time
Her sister never knew it
But she always completed her inside
And then her sister would go away again
And the same thing would happen

Then suddenly her sister stopped coming around
For a better life is what she thought she had found
A better life that didn’t include her
But she never knew that every day
Her sister thought about her
She always wondered where her sister went
And why she always left without their lives together spent

One day she gotten taken away
To a family friend
And for a while she would stay
But she was still mistreated
Barely eaten
Always hit
But she never told her sister this shyt
When her sister would call
She’d say I’m okay
Cause her sisters on speaker phone
What more could she really say

Her sister always promised that she would visit
And every day she waited
Hoping she’d keep it
But then she realized she was stuck
But knew that her sister still had love
It was just hard for her to see her face
And she felt like in this world she had no place

One day her sister came for her
She went to church and looked for her
She asked where is my little sister
And they all replied GONE
That’s when I soon discovered what exactly had been done
I always promised my sister Shilah that I would come and see her
And she waited until she finally gave up
And now she’s gone and I know it’s my fault
If I had only come sooner
She would still be here
She would still know that I cared
She waited for me to keep my promise
And I did but it was too late
and now i feel dis-honest

The Enchanted Wood (Part 3)

As the door opened, he could see
the room was filled with people.
They looked at him as he entered
everyone smiled saying good evening.
He was ushered to the top of the table
and seated beside a beautiful young woman.
Her smile radiated the room
with light and warmth.
“Hello, you must be Lord Charles
my husband to be.
I am Princess Juliet.”
Her voice flowed through him
like a river of tranquillity.

At first, he was not sure
just what to say to her.
He stumbled over his words
and it made her laugh.
Suddenly he was at ease
and it seemed they were
the only two in the room
and when he looked around,
they were the only two
everyone else had disappeared.
As they chatted he felt at home,
a home he could only have wished for.

They ate and talked
and when they had finished
the food and the dishes disappeared.
Suddenly as if by magic,
an orchestra began playing.
They got up and danced
and danced and danced
into the late evening.
They then took a stroll
into the garden in the moonlight,
walking arm in arm.
They stopped briefly,
where he stole a kiss.

As he awoke the next morning,
he could not remember much
of the night before
only that he had met his princess
and had a wonderful time.
“I am your clothes for today.”
He looked around as the clothes
suddenly threw themselves at him
and suddenly he was dressed.
“I see you are ready M’ Lord.”
“Ready for what? ”
“Your wedding M’ Lord.”

He followed the tall man
down the stairs
and out into the courtyard
where a carriage pulled by six white horses
stood waited for him.
He stopped and looked around
apart from the crowds of people
white doves danced
pirouettes in the sky.
They looked golden
as the sun painted them
with its warming rays.
Flags and pennants of different colours
hung out from everywhere.

From the Cathedral, church bells filled the air
as the carriage moved slowly
along the cobble stone streets
lined with people either side.
He sat and waved at them
through the window of the carriage
as the procession passed.
Within a few minutes,
they arrived at the great city Cathedral.
As he stepped from the carriage,
there seemed a party atmosphere everywhere.

Entering the Cathedral
the serine voices of the choir
rose up to the rafters
as the Cathedral bells
could be heard across the hamlets.
The pews were filled
from front to back.
He stood at the alter
waiting for his bride to be.
He felt that this must be all a dream
and in a moment, he would awake
back to the harsh realities of his life.
Then the organ announced of the brides arrival.

Outside My Window (not finished yet)

The sun sets on another day
I watch it as it goes beyond the horizon
From my claustrophobic hotel room
I admire the colors in the sky
My eyes stray from the sun
To my darkening surroundings
From my third floor view
I see the tops of the trees ahead
For the winter they are dead
Lonely and uncovered
Naked, they seem to tremble
With the cool gust of wind
With the wind, though,
The trees come alive
Seemingly moving by theirselves
Swaying back and forth
Through the broken branches
And further towards the sun
I watch the traffic
Of a busy interstate
With the night fall ensuing
The traffic has quieted
Sparsely, the cars past my view
Mostly tractor trailers now
I can hear one of their low toned,
Yet noisy horns
The sounds of civilization
The interstate seperates me from the airport
Always busy
The planes take off and land
Every couple of minutes it seems
I catch a glimpse
Of a big passenger jet
The howling of it's engines
Deafen me
As the plane takes flight
It turns towards the sun
I watch as different shades of red,
Orange, and yellow reflect off it's wings
Within a few minutes
The plane is gone from sight
And my attention is focused
Onto the sun once again
Now it's barely visible
As the last of it disappears
Behind the airport
Behind the interstate
Behind the trees
Outside my window

A Dozen Red Roses

God told me to take fifty dollars,
And buy a dozen red roses;
To give them to strangers,
Just as His Spirit impresses.
I gave the first red rose to a homeless man,
Who was sitting on a street curb.
He looked so stunned as he accepted,
But his eyes filled with tears of joy superb.

I then took the subway
That was rather busy.
I saw a mother who looked stresssed;
So gave her a red rose of mercy.
She smiled sweetly, as I walked away.
I sensed this red rose was special;
Gave her a sense of worthiness,
Made me feel like her guardian angel.

The Spirit led me to nine others,
Who were very touched indeed,
By a stranger gifting red roses;
An unusual type of deed.
As I left the train station,
I was led into a nearby hospital.
I asked to whom I should give;
This last red rose, so beautiful.

I was led into a room,
Where a small boy was dying of cancer.
Too weak to take the last rose;
I placed it on his dresser.
He looked at the beautiful red rose;
He could smell its perfume.
Tears fell down his tiny face.
I thanked God for this red rose mission,
As I left the young boy’s room.

Sometimes God asks us,
To do things that may seem strange.
But, in His wisdom, love is His exchange.
The red roses were a token
Of our Saviour’s love
sacrificially given to His children—
Hearts touched from heaven above.

i dream that

and that
we are all dead

our souls look

unidentifiable

we are so silent

Then She Kissed Me

Well, she walked up to me
And she asked me if I wanted to dance
She looked kind of nice
And so I said I might take a chance
When we danced she held me tight
And when I walked her home that night
All the stars were shinin bright
And then she kissed me
Each time I saw her I couldnt wait to see her again
I wanted to let her know that she was more than a friend
I didnt know just what to do, so I whispered I love you
She said that she loved me too and then she kissed me
She kissed me in a way that Id never been kissed before
She kissed me in a way that I want to be kissed forever more
I knew that she was mine, so I gave her all the lovin I had
And one day she took me home to meet her ma and her dad
Then I asked her to be my bride and always be right by my side
Felt so happy, she almost cried and then she kissed me
Then I asked her to be my bride and always be right by my side
Felt so happy, she almost cried and then she kissed me
And then she kissed me
And then she kissed me

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave
To the night and the empty skies my love
To the night and the empty skies

The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth turn in my hand
Like the trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command my love
That was there at my command

The first time ever I lay with you
And felt your heart beat close to mine
I thought our joy would fill the earth
And would last 'till the end of time my love

Airline To Heaven

There's an airline plane
Flies to heaven everyday
Past the pearly gates
If you want to ride this train
Have your ticket in your hand
Before it is too late
If the world looks wrong
And your money's spent and gone
And your friend has turned away
You can get away to heaven
On this aeroplane
Just bow your head and pray
Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take this airline plane
It'll take you home again
To your home behind the skies
Well a lot of people guess
Some say no and some say yes
Will it take some and leave some behind?
But you will surely know
When to the airport go
To leave this world behind
Oh a lot of speakers speak
A lot of preachers preach
When you lay their salary on the line
You can hold your head and pray
It's the only earthly way
You can fly to heaven on time
Fly to heaven on time
Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take that airline plane
It'll take you home again
To your home behind the skies
Your ticket you obtain
On this heavenly airline plane
You leave your sins behind
You've got to take this flight
It may be daytime, might be night
But you can't see your way if you're blind
Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take that airline plane
It'll take you home again
To your home behind the skies

When Somebody Turns You On

Can you hear me? am I loud enough?
Could you see it coming like an avalanche?
I only felt the need
When somebody turns you on
It's like a light in the dark goes on
It's like you've waited for rain, you waited so
Long
When somebody turns you on.
Were you waiting when you took my hand?
Were you aching with me? did you understand?
I only felt the heat
When somebody turns you on
It's like a light in the dark goes on
It's like you've waited for rain, you waited so
Long
When somebody turns you on.
Now I know this is real
I know 'cause I know 'cause I feel
Your eyes go straight to my soul
And I know this is good
It goes deep like I know it should
We've just got to let love grow
When somebody turns you on
It's like a light in the dark goes on
It's like you've waited for rain, you waited so
Long
When somebody turns you on.

I Am The Pretty Girl-Chapter Two

By junior year I was feeling pretty lonely
and I went to this party
where all the pretty girls go
so I had to go and everything
there were boys there from the college.
boys I didn't see very often
mature boys
and I was curious
especially about the one named Josh;
he seemed nice
I had watched him from the time I arrived.
but more important
he seemed to have confidence about himself
in a way I wished I had confidence in my self.
I openly looked at him
caught his eye
letting him know girl-way
I liked him
miracle of all miracles he understood my look-
closed his eyes and started across the room toward me
a gentle smile on his face, growing as he drew near.

I was thrilled as I felt him before he even got close to me,
he had something which made me feel weak
a bit frightened but very excited.

Directly in front of me now
I gave him my blank stare
as he towered above me
and I
suddenly realizing
that all eyes were upon us.

To have a college boy interested in you
was the height
the room stood still
as he pivoted to stand
beside me
like we already knew
each other and everything
I could hear little gasps of surprise because
my girls friends thought that we
somehow
did know each other.

He stood there beside me
watching everyone in the room watch us
then he took my hand
slowly into his,
a soft touch,
just a soft touch
not an aggressive touch
and whispered
'Act casual and we can just cruise on out of here
You go first-I will cover you.'

He made me laugh and in that moment I relaxed.
Josh had the ability to make me laugh from the very start.

I took his hand and led him toward a side door
into what was a small garden
with sliding glass doors
so everyone could see us
but not hear us.
I was so relieved to be out of there
and he was too I guess.
He chuckled,
still holding my hand
finally saying;
'I am never going to let go of your hand
ever.'

I looked at him sideways
and he burst out laughing
'Well I will let go sometime
but not before you give me
one of your beautiful smiles.'

Involuntarily I did give him a big smile-
he made me smile,
and then with that smile still on my face
he slowly took his hand from mine
and placed his finger tips on my lips.

The entire room behind those glass doors
gave a hushed gasp
I could almost hear;
from my corner eye
I could see
see heads swirling
as people did double-takes
looking at us.
Then for the first time
in a long time
I felt like the pretty girl
a real pretty girl
thinking if Josh was
or was not going to be the one
to whom I would lose my virginity to.

The thought made me blush.

When somebody turns you on.
Were you waiting when you took my hand?
Were you aching with me? did you understand?
I only felt the heat
When somebody turns you on
Its like a light in the dark goes on
Its like youve waited for rain, you waited so
Long
When somebody turns you on.
Now I know this is real
I know cause I know cause I feel
Your eyes go straight to my soul
And I know this is good
It goes deep like I know it should
Weve just got to let love grow
When somebody turns you on
Its like a light in the dark goes on
Its like youve waited for rain, you waited so
Long
When somebody turns you on.

Sands Of Love

i walked along the oceans shores
with a hundred thoughts on my mind
trying to get the answers in that period of time.
does love only come once in our lifetime?
and is it destined for us to feel heartbreak?
how can i survive? what will it take.
i was forgetting what it was to love again
then something strange happened to me.
i felt the oceans mist gently touch my face.
i felt the sun hold me in a warm embrace.
i felt the sand underneath my feet
i felt my heart skip a beat.
there stood this woman in her glory
telling the children a fairy tale story.
as a child they would wonder.
what was rolling thunder?
what created the rainbow in the sky.
why could the birds fly, and not you and i?
why does the sun rise in the east
and sets in the west?
is this just part of GODS test?
these were just some of the
questions that was put to her.
she looked at the children in total dismay
not knowing what to say.
so i decided to step in, and answer the
questions the best that i could.
not really knowing if i should.
she smiled at me, and gave a sigh of relief
she asked me to sit at their feet.
we laughed and joked with the children
and played in the sand.
she thanked me for giving the helping hand.
the sun started to set in the sky
there we sat- just she and i.
i asked if i could see her again
even if it's as a friend.
and she knew where i was going with that
and that there'd be no turning back.
we were both looking for love
the second time around.
and in each other
'that love we found'.
