small or tall, little or big
short to long hair, let it flow
green to brown to blue, eyes to adore
frowns to to smiles, grins from cheek to cheek
slender to chunky to heavy set, size no matter
their gentle touch, the voice so soft
their hearts so big and brains so smart
their tears so sad, cries so bad
they are all the same in side and out
spirits and souls for us to enjoy

I wish you many more

Arise beautiful girl its your birthday,
Let the sun rays penetrate your window,
Spread the curtains we need light,
Open wide the windows my love,
A new year, new rays and fresh air,
Open your arms my love,
Hugs you shall receive in abundance,
But your lips spare for me alone,
More years, more love, more everything,
Time comes and it goes for sure,
Some growing apart we grow together,
Sharing the wonderful moments of life,
Taking life to stages of highness,
Many prescribe wishes on paper,

I would give up

Memories I Harbor

I decided to retire as destiny was against me.

The four cold walls the lap top and just me. …

The days seem long the nights oh so short.

As memories unfold of the days I boldy fought.

For dreams that I wished be soon a reality.

The laughter the joy was all mine in plenty.

Standing never alone and with many murmurs.

Of many a love story for the hearts to stir.

The days of school and friends sweet n near.

Hearts filled with delight with love so dear.

Now I open my wet eyes and Nature do speak.

As I see my hair with those greying streak.

I look around me so many loved ones..

Gone beyond, I stand alone under God sun.

Confused with pain youth cant understand.

Reach out for my grand kids kind hands.

The soft look the twinkle of their eyes.

And their sweetness special i do proudly spy.

Every step every move and their sparkling smile.

Lost Page

I’ve never thought we’d meet again
But that day had come to renew the pain
Over the years I’ve become little insane
And you’ve turned some abysmally plain.

I’ve never thought we’d talk once more
But mystic surprise hides behind future’s door
So our eyes met and we couldn’t manage to ignore
And eyes had talked to the hearts core.

Tears were simply rolling out of my eyes
Tears I’d seen through your feeble disguise
Love is a proven truth, love never dies
Only when it goes out, leaves lots of cries.

You were with someone or you were not
I didn’t really care when everything is lost
Memories started to plunder of that broken knot
Why we’d separated and at what cost!

I’ve never thought I’d see you again in this life
But then, surprisingly flew in the lost page of strives
Untold story that I always wanted to deprive
With engraved emotions I did learn to survive.

I’ve never thought again I’ll be writing about us
My heart used to say there is nothing new to discuss
