The Unanswered
A mass murderer
Should there be room for pity
A crime so awful
Yet he was born an infant
Innocent eyes seeing the world
Forgive our hatred
If we have not the power
To forgive his sins
Forever we see him as a ghost
An echo of forbidden thoughts
From all minarets
The cry of one rightful god
A dominant faith
Too much for a godless land
Can we defy its command?

Sonnet: Forgive Them God, Lord
Forgive them God, they know not what they do;
Forgive them Lord, they know not what they say;
Forgive them God, they are my siblings too;
Forgive them Lord, they seem just bad today!
Forgive them God, they were all born with me;
Forgive them Lord, they suffered really;
Forgive them God; they were so good truly;
Forgive them Lord, they have done their duty!
Forgive them God, the tempter has them prey;
Forgive them Lord, they were so sad most days;
Federal been God and send your guardian fay;
Forgive them Lord, they have innocent face!
Forgive them God; I’ll pray for them instead;
Forgive them Lord; better You strike me dead!

My Lord
Forgive me, my Lord.
As I part from this womb.
Forgive me, my Lord.
As I plunge into doom.
Forgive me, my Lord.
I'm ashamed of my birth.
Forgive me, my Lord.
Punish me with a curse.
Forgive me, my Lord.
I do promise to praise.
Forgive me, my Lord.
Hear me hail your name.
Forgive me, my Lord.
I won't attain what I've yearned.
Absolve me, my Lord.
Cleanse this sin of being born.

No Way Out
Damn
I would have never thought it ever woulda been like this
Life is crazy
God -- please watch over my family
Please protect em
Forgive my enemies -- for they know not what they do
Please lord -- forgive me for my sins, and protect me from evil
For thou art the kingdom, the power, and the glory
Now and forever
In your name we pray
Amen

Forgive Me
Silent wave coming down on me
Washing out the lie
Living inside me
Lifes not hard
Now Im on tv
This sudden twist of fate
I am direct salvation
Just send in your donation
I can promise that youll be saved
Forgive me, world
Im just a man whos lost his way
Forgive me, these two words I pray
Its time to make a change
Yesterday was a different day
Thought I knew the answer
A vision in my mind
Search my soul
And then you will find
A shelter for my pain
The truth is in the open
And now my heart has spoken
Hoping maybe youll hear my cry
Forgive me, world
Im just a man whos lost his way
Forgive me, these two words I pray
Its time to make a change
Forgive me, world
Im just a man who sins today
Forgive me, these two words I pray
My faith is still the same
Maybe I cant change the past
Maybe love can bring us back
Maybe we can try and start again.
Forgive me, world

Lamentations of an Abortus
God knew me ev’n before I was conceived;
He blessed me to be formed wholesome in womb;
He had great ideas for me to do;
I was so eager therefore, to be born.
Just when I was all set to be born live,
I knocked the womb’s door. My mom did not heed;
I knocked for long and pleaded to be born;
How I wished to make my parents happy!
I longed to see my daddy and my mom;
I yearned to be fondled and kissed by them;
I loved to show the baby doll, I was;
My dreams were shattered: I was aborted!
Oh, mother dear, what folly had I done?
Did I ask God to be born as your son?
Was I not life like daddy and my mom?
I had been murdered for no crime of mine.
The love of God which formed me must be shocked;
How foolish men and women try to be;
They do not hesitate to kill their own;
How mean to kill the baby that’s unborn!
Forgive my mother’s mortal sin, O God!
For, if you don’t, she’s bound to land in hell;
Forgive my father’s iniquities, Lord;
Forgive them both; I wish they will REPENT.
O God, I pray to meet them in Heaven;
Shower your mercy on them both, O Lord;
Forgive them for their heinous crime and sin;
Control your wrath and forgive mom and dad.
This is my prayer to you Lord, O God;
This is my final wish for now, I’m dead;
Please spare my parents from your stern just rod;
Dear God, by devils, they were both misled!

Can I Forgive Him
Esmeralda
I am esmeralda agrn, se? ora.
I know Ive no right to speak.
My son is not the savage boy you see,
The cape, the sneer, the slicked-back hair
It hides the child I nursed and bathed, se? ora.
Please dont turn your eyes from me
Your son, gone to god, and mine to blame
My fated son,
He too is gone
The state will see to that, I am sure, se? ora
The state will see to that, I am sure.
1st mother
You spanish people, you come to this country
Nothing here changes your lives
Ungrateful immigrants asking for pity
When all of your answers are knives
This city makes a cartoon of a crime
Capes and umbrellas the glorification of slime
I have to face this horror, se? ora.
2nd mother
My religion
Asks me to pray for the murderers soul
But I think youd have to be
Jesus on the cross
To open your heart after such a loss
Can I forgive him?
Can I forgive him?
No, I cannot
Can I forgive him
No, I cannot
Friends become strangers
Compassion is hard to express in words
The trembling flowers they bring
Fear in the roots and the stem
What happened to me they know could happen to them.
Can I forgive him
No, I cannot
Can I forgive him
No
Esmeralda
Only God can say forgive
His son too received a knife
But we go on, we have to live
With this cross we call our life
1st mother
Feels like a bomb fell
And wave after wave come the aftershocks
2nd mother
You cant believe that its true
There must be some mistake
You drift through this nightmare from which you cant wake
Both mothers
Can I forgive him?
Can I forgive him,
No, I cannot
Can I forgive him?
Can I forgive him, no, I cannot
Can I forgive him?
Can I forgive him, no, I cannot
Can I forgive him
No, I cannot.

The Power Of Forgiveness
the soul contains many qualities
The character of man and his vagaries
But the most important quality of man
is the power to forgive a sin
earth is a world of ups and downs
it brings joy and it brings frowns
but life on earth teaches an important thing
t'is the power to forgive a sin
as age goes by, as time races on
as generations die and new ones are born
if you ever learn the last thing, it must be
the power to forgive a sin

The Other Man
(ian hunter)
I forgive you when you cant look straight into my eye
I forgive you when you never want to hold my hand
I forgive you cause youre all Ive got and I love you
But Ill never forgive the other man
I forgive you even though I know the secret you keep
I forgive you even though you dont give a damn
I forgive you cause deep inside youre part of me
But Ill never forgive the other man
Somewhere in the night hes calling
And somewhere in your heart youre falling
Ill forgive you when you stay out late and you never phone
Ill forgive you even though Ill never understand
Ill forgive you cause youre all Ive got and I love you
But Ill never forgive the other man
Somewhere in the night hes calling
And somewhere in your heart youre falling
Ill forgive you when you stay out late and you never phone
Ill forgive you even though Ill never understand
Ill forgive you cause youre all Ive got and I love you
But Ill never forgive the other man
No, Ill never forgive as long as I live
No, Ill never forgive the other man
I said Ill never never never forgive
No, Ill never forgive the other man

We the unforgiving
and we’ll never quite forgive our parents
for being our parents
and we’ll never never forgive that one
we thought our best friend
for stopping being our friend without
an explanation or anything
and we’ll never ever forgive our first lover
our first for heaven’s sake
for dumping us and ruining our whole life
and we'll never quite forgive -
no, let's not go there; that's
too close to home...
and we’ll never forgive God for,
oh everything, if we knew
how to not forgive God
and secretly we’ll never forgive ourselves
for all the things we wish we hadn’t done
although of course we deserve to be forgiven
for it wasn’t really our fault was it..
how could we forgive ourselves, when there’s that
that dark figure lurking behind us saying
don’t you dare forgive yourself,
you ungrateful little…
and if you forgave everyone, you wouldn’t
know who you were… it’s not
as easy as that, oh no
oh yes it is. oh yes it is.

Forgive you
Forgive you
It is not hard to forgive you
Transparent heart, i know who are you
It is okay to forgive you
Need no reason, just forgive you
Pains u gave me, smiles i give you
Hates can stab me, please not to you
You innocent in the eyes of anger
Truth will be seen a bit longer
Never mind how deep you cut my skin
Never mind how bloody heart i felt in
I just can't hate you
Everything u do, forgive you
I need to save you from dark
So just give me all your pain
Cleanse your suffering marks
I'll wipe away your trouble not to stain
Then, when a chance came to me
Finally i have to leave you
Doesn't mean grudge buried me
But no chance to tell you
When truth comes tell everything
Don't feel regret or bad feeling
I told you, i forgive you
But now forgive me for leaving you
Only one thing i want you always do
Smile as sincere u can do
We still friend, promise you, i do..
Forgave you, now Forgive me

Forgive Me God
(after Solomon Ibn Gabirol)
Forgive me God and set me free from punishment,
forgive my sins that are so numerous.
Remember me, for the sake of Your love
and even where Your decree has been set,
forgive and see my longing for You.
Wash away my sins as human frailty,
and lead me back to Your company.

Father Forgive
Father forgive,
The hatred which divides
Nation from nation
Race from race
And class from class.
Father forgive,
The covetous desires
Of people and nations
To possess
What is not their own.
Father forgive,
Our greed which
Exploits the work,
Of human hands
And lays waste to the Earth.
Father forgive,
Our envy,
Of the welfare
And happiness
Of others.
Father forgive,
Our indifference,
To the plight
Of the imprisoned
The homeless
And the refugee.
Father forgive,
The lust which
Dishonors the bodies
Of men, women,
And children.
Father forgive,
The pride which leads us,
To trust in ourselves
And not in God.

Cause You Be Da Man!
Why should I forgive you?
Why after all this time,
You come to me to ask forgiveness.
I am not the pope.
The pope did his thing and split.
After his papal visit.
He came to Babylon.
But his message did not entertain,
Their self righteousness.
So he left. Moved on.
To begin the affects of one rule!
Under One Federation of Collected Nations,
We stand.
That will be the order of the land.
Why should I forgive you?
When you should forgive yourself.
For being the perfect tool to be used...
And played like a fool!
To not know this AND accept.
'Yes...
My holy 'Godfather'.
Anything you command.
'Cause you be da man! '

Lowered down on a mat
Four of them carried me up the steps at the side
and then they began to open the rooftop wide.
They lowered me on my mat right down to the ground
at the feet of Jesus with people standing round.
Jesus saw the faith of my friends and said to me
'You are forgiven take up your mat and go free.'
But as He healed me and when I took up my bed
'Blasphemy, only God can forgive, ' someone said.
Then Jesus replied 'Why are you thinking these things? '
'For the Son of Man has power to forgive sins.'
'Is Your sins are forgiven' easier to say'
'Than the words, ‘Take up your mat and walk on your way? '
So I took up my mat and walked out of their view
for I had not just been healed but forgiven too.
All the people present praised God for what they saw.
No one had experienced anything like this before.
Written after reading Mark 2: 3-12
Christmas
The time of each year to learn from the past and change for the future;
To forgive those who’ve done wrong and reconcile each one’s mistakes;
For there’s another place to go on living without hatred and fear;
And there we find the glory of God for us who believes in Him;
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, ”
Is the symbol of Christmas – a God’s gift to our repentance we must,
Let us not be misled by those who are confused,
But guide them with our hands and lead them to His plan;
Let us not fall, together! We must fight
The deceitful nature of all human races,
‘Cause it hard sometimes to choose from what is right
And wrong “to do what we don’t want them to do to us, ”
“God is love and love is God; ” so, we must think twice
That hate is crime in His eyes.
Listen to the voice of others and open our arms of embrace,
Widened our knowledge greater to understand their outcries,
Respect those who are different and help the helpless innocent,
For we are all children of God regardless of who we are, indeed!
What will another day may bring if we don’t believe and seek the truth?
That’s why Christmas comes each year – a reminder to us of His day-end;
So, before it’s too late, let’s strengthened the power of our faith,
For there’s always a reward to anyone – the true meaning of Christmas:
Christmas isn’t all about the presents under the Christmas tree,
The street lanterns and the carols we hear and sing,
But blessed the recipients, the givers who celebrate
“The birth of Christ, who humbled Himself to save our sins.”

Forgive My Heart
Nat king cole
Capitol record
Forgive my heart
My foolish heart it wont believe were through
Forgive my heart
Youre still a part of everything I do
Forgive my lips
If now and then
They speak your name
If you are still
My only thrill
Am I to blame
Forgive my dreams
In all my dreams it seems your face appears
Forgive my eyes
I realize Im only wasting tears
Dont know why you haunt me
But you do
Forgive my heart
Im still in love with you

My Prayer at His Door
I will pray
Like all good people
and with them
Prayers to God
To only God
To only God
(my God
Allah
Means
The most beautiful
The most)
Please forgive me
Forgive my sins
That I know
And
That I do not know
Give me salvation
Give me happiness
Give me love
Give me safety
Save my world
Save my world
I just lost my patience
lost my patience
I broke down
with despair
Please
Forgive me
Forgive me
Forgive me
My love
I hurt you
with my beauty
& impatience
But I was right also
I told the truth
And you left me
A candle in the wind
My life and days
Burnt
Had hardships
Had big hardships
But God
Your Mercy is above all
ABOVE ALL
ABOVE ALL
REPENTENCE
SALVATION.

Forgive Me for Being So Good
Lord, forgive me for my pity
For the vagrant and the homeless.
I should have given them a home
Instead of indulging in my finer feelings.
Lord, forgive me for compassion.
What good are lotus flowers to the suffering?
If I deny myself, do I not deny others?
Their cravings will cease when I give them bread and potatoes!
But I was seduced by the purity of my thoughts!
Lord, forgive me for my guilt.
I felt guilty about my lust and anger
When I should have felt guilty about my insincerity and laziness.
Lord, forgive me for shrugging my shoulders.

Forgive And Forget
Forgive and forget as I've been told
That query keeps coming to my mind
As 'I forgive' is the easiest words for one to say
But to forget, to me it seems like a crime.
To forget the evils that someone has done
Or even the evils or lies that they had spoke
To walk away as they never had accrued
As though to have a nightmare and never to awoke.
When we were young we are taught by our elders
To forgive the trespasses against us one and all
We must forget the pain and suffering that we felt
And must lock that away behind our own brick wall.
The lies and the evils that were done to us,
Even by friends and the ones who we had loved
We must then say that I forgive you one and all
And to some, that forgiveness is not even enough.
Forgive and forget those words we have heard
Even the bible does speak the same
To forgive the sins that were committed against us all
And so against no one can we ever curse or blame.
Sometimes though it seems like in this life
The wrong doers are always asking to forgive and forget
And then the moment that you smile and accept their request
They attack you, and they feel no sadness or regret.
Forgiving sometimes it is so very hard to do
And then to forget that person of their evil deeds
While trying not to remember what they have done to you
While wishing in them, you once again could believe.
Now as I think about my very own past
Of all the wrongs and evil deeds to me I must accept
I read that forgiveness is mine so said the Lord
So now I toss the evils done to me off to forgive and forget.

A Poem For A Friend Dying of Cancer
I forgive you, Lord, for all your cruelty
And the way you really had it in for me,
The way you let them break my heart,
The way they tore my happiness apart.
I forgive you, Lord, but I don't see why
I should honour you because you chose to die,
I hate the way you've crucified my friends
Proclaiming that your Great Love nrver ends!
I forgive you, Lord, for all the suffering
That you allowed, and how you didn't bring
Relief for friends who lay there in their pain,
I forgive you, Lord, perhaps you are insane!
I forgive you, Lord, you really make me sick,
Your clever words are just a cunning trick,
Why don't you save my friend who's going to die,
She's only 31, and you won't tell me why.
I don't forgive you, Lord, the end has come
For a Creator who's both deaf and dumb,
I hate you now for all eternity,
And the reason for my hatred is obvious to see.
