The New Tyranny
The New Tyranny
This dawn after rain had trumpeting its force on the old roof tiles
It ceased a soft a soft drizzle, Yes I know I should get up at eight
steeped as I’m in a protestant work ethic, but overcome by
laziness slept for another hour. In my drowsiness I thought how
our freedom has been restricted by the internet.
Our thoughts and secrets are no longer our property but shared
by authorities that want to know our innermost thoughts, we are
prisoners of an all embracing society that will not tolerate thoughts
other than the banal comments about friends’ birthdays.
What was heralded to be a great instrument of communication is
spied upon by our leaders who know more about us now then
the Stasi did in East Germany. Free speech only exist for those who
have nothing to say and accept living in the land of conventions.
Nothing can be nobler if we demand our right not to be censured
and called seditious because we will not be trapped into trivial
acceptance of perceived lies.

My Thoughts
Thought in the eyes,
The ears.
Thought in mind,
The brain,
Thought in heart,
The soul.
Great thought is great
when it becomes great deeds.
With my thoughts within
Building my world within
Learning with thought;
Is great learning wisdom.
Learning without thought,
Is opportunity lost.
Thought for others
Thought for God
Thought for good
Thought for God’s blessing
Thoughts teach me,
Thoughts educate me,
Thoughts clarify me,
Thoughts enlighten me.
Thoughts make me wise
Thoughts make me patience
Thoughts make me trust others
Thoughts make me clam.
Thoughts before act
Is smart and wise
Act before thoughts
Is stupid and foolish
That’s my thoughts
They make thinking clear
They make belief deepen
They make confidence high.
In thoughts, my world
In my world, make my thoughts.
In thoughts, my words
In my words, make my speech
It’s my thoughts count
Counting my thoughts
To endless counting thoughts
Thinking the thoughts endlessly
My thoughts and thoughts again.

Thoughts of Rain
Thoughts of rain
And kings of old
Queens all gone
They fade away
Like shooting stars
And others calling ‘Don’t jump! ’
But I did
I’ll take the free fall
I’m taking the chance that no one will be there to catch me
And while I fall I think
Beautiful, wonderful thoughts of rain
And pretty things
The ones that weren’t smashed in the fight
The things that fell and didn’t jump
But I did
Free falling
A long way down
What happened to the zebra?
Stripes all faded off
What happened to the giraffe?
Spots all jumped away
Like me
Thinking thoughts of rain while falling
And sweet mangoes
And rye
Thoughts of forests
Willow forests
Rain forests
Oceans of knowledge
Of which each of us has but a teaspoon of
Seas of thought
Rivers of philosophy
Thoughts of rain
Rain pattering down
Smelling sweet
Life so perfect
So wonderful
Like rain
Dark stormy days filled with lightning
Sunny days filled with rainbows
Thoughts of rain
Spiral bound
And falling down
And thick soft wool to cushion the blow
Thinking thoughts of rain.

Thinking
I think and think
and every single thought
comes into my mind
as if it were caught
in a spidery web
that sticks like glue
until that thought
is finally through.
Some thoughts are happy
and they are most welcome.
Some thoughts are sad
and then I'm overrun
with tears that fill my eyes
like a pool.
I cry out these thoughts,
my number one rule.
For to hold back my tears
and not let them flow
would drown my thinking
and where would they go?
Into a whirlpool
that circles around
making my demeanor
take me down?
No, I say.
Pick up your pen.
Write those thoughts
and say amen.
Read them aloud
for they're now on a page,
not trapped in my mind
like a bird in a cage.
Freedom, freedom
my mind is free.
Oh how rewarding
that can be.
Enjoy it I say
for it won't last long
for I think and I think
as my life moves along.

Stentorian
The same passion,
Reputation,
Stetorian,
Optimum;
But many African leaders really lack foresighted leadership! !
And like an object of horror in the land of peace.
Thoughts of peace,
Thoughts of love,
Thoughts of care,
Thoughts of unity;
And like an object of ridicule to others!
But in front of your eyes today, is the story of the East Africans.

Kathy's Song
I hear the drizzle of the rain
Like a memory it falls
Soft and warm continuing
Tapping on my roof and walls
And from the shelter of my mind
Through the window of my eyes
I gaze beyond the rain-drenched streets
To England where my heart lies
My mind's distracted and diffused
My thoughts are many miles away
They lie with you when you're alseep
And kiss you when you start your day
And a song I was writing is left undone
I don't know why I spend my time
Writing songs I can't believe
With words that tear and strain to rhyme
And so you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you
And as I watch the drops of rain
Weave their weary paths and die
I know that I am like the rain
There but for the grace of you go I

Reverie
Reverie
Dreams have always been vital to me they have been a wing
To fly on for my consciousness, but lately there have been few
dreams and when I dream it is about places I have been to in
other thoughts, meeting people and seeing a nature that is
interior where the landscape it thorny and cannot be shared
with others. There is strangeness to see friends that do not exist,
familiar faces forever young they will just be there and not tell
me what to do, a burden one has to tolerate in conscious life.
My phone doesn’t ring although I’ve a funny, musical ringer tone.
By the lake of wonder virtual friends silently gather, look at me
as to say: “When are you going to be our real friend? ”But I will
not leave before I feel the joy of embracing you again, when
you stroke my vanishing hair and tell me that you love me

Red wine, rain and my thoughts
Red wine,
rain
and my thoughts
but there's something missing
how can I say I don't know
everywhere is desolate, and
every corner in this city
hides your image
that makes me more thoughtful.
Red wine,
rain
and my thoughts,
sometimes I can't take a breath
and I can't hold my tears,
day by day living in this city,
without you
that's just meaningless.
Red wine,
rain
and my thoughts,
you are endless hope
all I have in this life
that takes me behind of the worlds
where I've found you with all my heart
Red wine,
rain
and my thoughts,
red wine is my dream
that ornament whole my life,
rain is your voice
that's always in my ears,
and my thoughts is just you who is also me
red wine,
rain
and my thoughts

A Tolerant Society
A tolerant society we've heard it all before
That fellow he is different he is from a distant shore
He never will be my friend so him i will ignore
I will only tolerate him just that and nothing more.
A tolerant society those words often used of late
By the leaders of the Government in a so called egalatarian State
Yet his birthday or successes we will never celebrate
We will only tolerate him he will never be our mate.
A tolerant society words best used to describe
That we will put up with others but we'll stick by our own tribe
Them we shall not acknowledge or to them say hello
And about them and their culture we do not wish to know.
In a tolerant society we only tolerate
And closer ties or friendships with them we do not wish to cultivate
He is from a different culture and our differences are great
And we only tolerate him he will never be our mate.

He asked me if I'd take a penny for my thoughts.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
and I told him the things on my mind.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
I had thought then I'd be paid in kind.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
and the closest friends we came to be.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
I thought then the one he cared for, was me.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
now rich with my thoughts he was.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
I thought his reason was more than 'just because'.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
he's made me rich with a broken heart.
A penny for your thoughts he asked,
now my life has a broken start.
Thoughts
Inside the thought is an array of knowledge,
When do computers basically examine this object of the mind?
Never do they scrutinize, never do they work on brains,
Like going to movies in the cinema, and risking their lives.
Never do screens and boards show signs of thoughts
Unless too much intellectuality.
The thoughts control us, they work upon us,
Little do they resent us when we think.
This thought, that thought, will wisely bring,
Forgiving the communication of such wisdom.

Train thoughts
You see the train fires our thoughts-
We find a white metallic sky up there,
As though the train itself were the earth
Spinning like a top in cosmic space.
The train’s hoot pierces our awareness.
We then come down from the upper berth
To mundane matters of trivial concern-
Thoughts which are not train thoughts
But home kitchen and patio thoughts
Waiting for inquisitive neighbours to talk
So that we could pick large comic holes.
In the train, between our finiteness and sky
There is another white sky, train sky
Under which several celestial thoughts
Take place in our upturned sleeping faces
It is as though the metal sky does not exist
And we are faced with the Big sky itself.

Words Again
Thoughts can be words, can be flowers that burgeon like words,
Thunders that are right in the middle of happiness,
Ones that make talk with books and with all speaking sense.
The sounds are not anywhere near us,
Yet the word can believe in living free,
Where actions cannot, and nor can thoughts necessarily.
We work on the words of leaders like listening is,
When speech is hazardous and non-wrong,
And liars can speak offensively, like a long long wrong.
Speech is therefore recommended in the form of words,
Of dementia I give word not or word obvious,
But of sound advice for any goodness to come and seize.
Deceased are the word-lovers as much as fences are put up,
As if the sea is given a status that delves too deep
Of words, and it is funny how many words that there are.

A Thinker
How long are my thoughts alive?
Only until they move on.For new ones enter my mind each day
and the old ones are gone.
The simpler the thought,
the longer the stay.
Complex thinking is not for me.
I simply push it away.
I wake up sleepy
with eyes still closed
but my mind comes alive with thought
and then I am exposed
to multiple thoughts that surface again
and I've not even started my day.
Sometimes I wish to be thought-free
but I know that's not my way.
For thinkers are edgy, never complete
until a thought's on their mind.
And so I've learned to accept these things
and let them slowly unwind.

Anarchy Through Capitalism
We The People, of this magic cosmic plain
This reflection of light unfolding onto itself
Demand our right to the sacred gift called moments
Let it be known, that we will no longer tolerate a
Fear based society wrought by a morality of separation
We The People, the human beings, the occupiers of atoms
Collected by thoughts of eternal benevolence, hereby reject
Any law, or authority that utilize borders, prisons, mental
Institutions, forced education or military operations to enforce
Their insanity, and insecurity

Do You Have Any Thoughts About Me?
Do you have any thoughts about me?
And I want to know if the thoughts that you have about me
Are any good?
Do you mind sharing the thoughts about me?
What are the thoughts about me like?
Are the thoughts about me semtimental?
Are the thoughts about me very romantic?
Are the thoughts about me full of love?

My Thoughts Of Suicide
Here I sit and write this poem
Thinking of all I love and all I hate
Thoughts of suicide thinking its my fate
I think of all the times I used to laugh
And now I wish I'd just die
How did so much misery come in to my life
And now all I have are thoughts of suicide
Crying every night is not the way to live
Heck I'm still a kid
I should be out hanging with all my friends
But these thoughts of suicide haunt my head
Will they care when I am gone
When nothings left expect my thoughts
And this small poem telling everyone
I will be no more in about an hour
Don't try to save me
Just save your tears
Nothing can stop me
Because i have thoughts of suicide
Heres to the end my dear friend
I hope you live life through
This is the end to this girls life
And all her thoughts to boot
Nothing there but my thoughts my secret thoughts of suicide
