Last Request

Before she died her last wish was to be buried, not cremated,
she a feared waking up from a deep coma and no one would
hear her screams and rescue her from the jaws of inferno.
Her husband ignored her want, cremation was more viable,
and anyway how was she to know? The crematory attendant
was outside smoking a cigarette reflecting on the irony that
he had to go outside when bodies were burnt to ash inside.
He was startled by a piercing shriek, birds in trees took flight.
Must be a hawk killing a starling, he thought. On the branch of
an old oak a crow sat, in the afternoon light it looked golden
wore a halo; and had eyes as blue as the ocean.

Ocean Blue

Well you took me home
And you took me back
But deep down inside
The feeling just died and i
Couldnt see why
From indigo to royal blue
I travel far but no one will do
Anytime, anyplace
Every shape every face
Brings memories of you
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
Fair weather friends might drift away
When summer ends and skies burn grey
So I walk to the ocean
Pilot these shores
Just thinking of you
Its time we kissed the clouds goodbye
From now on its strictly blue sky
Come rain and shine
The outlook is still fine
Im thinking of you
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean ocean
Ocean, ocean
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
I stand at the head of the queue
Theres mutinys every crew
Wishin and wonderin bout you
Ocean blue

At Ward 15....

so after having known that X is the prodigy
who once hails from Ward 15
you finally decide that you don't want to be one
like us....

did you ever think that i could be one who
pretends to tell you the truth
that creativity also demands the folly of the fox
the slyness of the wolf
the meekness of the dove?

did you ever reflect yourself like a mirror under the bed
capturing light from the leak of the wall
inside that house where a wife screams at the husband
when the husband finally strikes the head of
the woman with his fists?

there are no more standards of what we can be
there are only unfinished paths
and we are here called upon to build them
to try at least one and follow where we cut the stems of trees
the tallness of grasses
the sharpness of the thorns

the bleakness of the beaks of our days
the way how our bodies grown feathers and wings
and when we fly
higher than you think will you ask again if you still be
one of us?

when we are on top
we do not brag about it
it is usual and expected
because you cannot follow
when it is dark
because you do not know how to
absorb light
because you cannot detect which
place is warmer
and viable as the resting place
of our beautiful souls....

Black Crow

Theres a crow flying
Black and ragged
Tree to tree
Hes black as the highway thats leading me
Now hes diving down
To pick up on something shiny
I feel like that black crow
Flying
In a blue sky
I took a ferry to the highway
Then I drove to a pontoon plane
I took a plane to a taxi
And a taxi to a train
Ive been traveling so long
Howm I ever going to know my home
When I see it again
Im like a black crow flying
In a blue, blue sky
In search of love and music
My whole life has been
Illumination
Corruption
And diving, diving, diving, diving.
Diving down to pick up on every shiny thing
Just like that black crow flying
In a blue sky
I looked at the morning
After being up all night
I looked at my haggard face in the bathroom light
I looked out the window
And I saw that ragged soul take flight
I saw a back crow flying
In a blue sky
Oh Im like a black crow flying
In a blue sky

Triangles

Three triangles of birds crossed
Over the enormous ocean which extended
In winter like a green beast.
Everything just lay there, the silence,
The unfolding gray, the heavy light
Of space, some land now and then.
Over everything there was passing
A flight
And another flight
Of dark birds, winter bodies
Trembling triangles
Whose wings,
Frantically flapping, hardly
Can carry the gray cold, the desolate days
From one place to another
Along the coast of Chile.
I am here while from one sky to another
The trembling of the migratory birds
Leaves me sunk inside myself, inside my own matter
Like an everlasting well
Dug by an immovable spiral.
Now they have disappeared
Black feathers of the sea
Iron birds
From steep slopes and rock piles
Now at noon
I am in front of emptiness. It’s a winter
Space stretched out
And the sea has put
Over its blue face
A bitter mask.

Face In The Sky Asking Why

outside smoking a cigarette looking at the sky.
the twinkling of a light caught my eye.
i looked towards the heavens to see what it could be.
i thought that it was the reflection of a star
but this light was greater by far.
it seemed to be falling from the sky
getting bigger and brighter than i could ever dream
and it seemed to hypnotize me
as i stood there watching this sight.
i began to wonder what can it be?
a plane or helicopter high in the sky
with their lights searching wide.
as i continued to gaze upon this light
there formed such a beautiful sight
it was the face of a man with such beautiful features
a beard trimmed to perfection, and shoulder length hair
with teeth as bright as any star in the sky
and his eyes were piercing blue.
and as the face continued to come down.
i tried to scream but i did'nt make a sound.

as the face got closer to me, i knew that it had to be
the face of god looking down and no love to be found.
for love is forsaken and innocent lives are taken.
the lives of these unborn children were taken without
any thought to the fact that they have rights just like
you and me.
why is it that we do not see.

if protection was to be used-lovemaking would not be abused.
this was the face in the sky asking 'why.'?

Sad Sad Sorrow

The crow sits there
Atop a willow branch
Singing the sad sad song
Of sorrow
Warning you
The end is near
You dismiss the thought
And cover your ears
From the retched cawing
Of the crow
It follows you
Where ever you go
It's a burden
On your shoulder's low
You try to understand
What the crow means
You're sitting on your bed
And you hear
A distant tapping
On your window
The crow
You see it crying
Tears of a dark angel
You jump back
Startled
And try to catch your breath
You go to the window
But the crow's gone
And you begin to feel
All alone
You look down
And see one of its feathers
With its dark magic
And mystic wonder
You roll it over
Between your fingertips
And hear it singing
The song
Of sad sad sorrow
You piece together the puzzle
Tears of an angel
Feathers of dark magic
And the sad sad sorrow song
It's the end
The end is near
The day the crow left
So did you
And now all you hear
Is the song of
Sad sad sorrow

A Bloodstream Of Halos

And I am going to kill all those little things, that cause my favorite feelings
Swimming in my bloodstream.
And if you hear I died I will wait for you forever in the sky,
With a halo that I made you, with all of my time.

And as we sink into the couch you start to ask me, well how do you like me now?
You are so bad, I am so sad, you fall apart and take your bow
I clicked me heels I wish for this with all this science I cant resist.
Stare at the ceiling its worth the feeling, we just all want to be missed.

And I am going to kill all those little things, that cause my favorite feelings
Swimming in my bloodstream.
And if you hear I died I will wait for you forever in the sky,
With a halo that I made you, with all of my time.

Oh and I don’t wear these chains
Knots in my veins, oh they love to catch the rain,
Rescue me please rescue me cause I believe that I can change.

I quite city is all I need, well sit beneath the grass and trees
Take a while, pick up our miles, I will haunt you can you feel my breeze?

And I am going to kill all those little things, that cause my favorite feelings
Swimming in my bloodstream.
And if you hear I died I will wait for you forever in the sky,
With a halo that I made you, with all of my time.

And I didn’t think you cared bout all the little things and title waves in my dreams, and all you’ve meant to me,
While I wait for you to die I will build for us, a castle in the sky
The worlds dissolving but we are evolving, please love just take your time.
Were not perfect but well survive. Were not perfect but well survive.

Bird Life

Perched upon an old wheelbarrow-
Scrutinizing Crow,
commentated long, on all he saw.
Feathered friends, who came to wallow,
splashing in the bird-bath hollow
disregarded Crow's bizarre guffaw.

'Are you starling, from the meadow'?
asked the puzzled crow.
'You fit the bill and yet I see a flaw'.
'Tail feathers, long and narrow,
sharp as swallow's twin-pronged arrow,
force me to admit, I'm quite unsure'.

'I'm the Swarling from the plateau',
bird replied, 'Hello'.
'My plumage is unique and furthermore'-
'Meet my friend, the warbling Starlow,
deft in flight as dancing shadow,
blessed with starling beak and swallow claw'.

'Preposterous'! said crow with gusto,
'strange imbroglio'.
'You must be one or other, it's the law'.
To which the enigmatic duo,
chirped a ringing manifesto.
Crow could think of nowt to say, but 'Caw'.

Insomnia

Im running in quicksand
Somethings haunting me
The guilty past Ive buried
My mind wont let me sleep
Ill do anything for peace - I keep waking up
A solemn oath I make
Cross my heart please let me sleep - I keep waking up
How much more do I take
My head is talking to me
I dont know what it needs
But the loudest voice
Is the one I heed
Insomnia, my swollen bloodshot eyes
Insomnia, awake till morning light
Insomnia, stirring deep inside
Insomnia, somebody turn out the lights
I cant sleep - insomnia
Im twisting and turning - I keep waking up
The madness I must tame
My candle is burning - I keep waking up
Both ends again today
The whole house is creaking
I know theyre out there
The things kept from sight
I beg to the shadows
I cant sleep
Insomnia, footsteps on the walk
Insomnia, I hear someone knock
Insomnia, I wish it was a dream
Insomnia, can you hear me scream

Miles Is A Cigarette

The weak and hazy shades of winter sun
Come shining through
Lifting fog from the trees and a gentle warm breeze
Send it up in to the blue
Blue sky and you come creeping through my soul
Goodbye our loves smoking too
And the sound of those italian engines
Is much more the sound of you
Miles was a cigarette smoky and long
Gonna miss what I never had
Now that cigarette is gone

mind fillin blues...by Talile Ali

i'm pointing my fingers
everyones at fault
the world is against me
locked deep inside this vault

keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's

completely delusional
totally insane
thinking things are happening
but it's all inside my brain

keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's

believe that you love me
in your very own way
it doesn't really matter
because with me that's ok

keeping me down
got me feeling sad and blue
with this messed up inside killing'
i got those mind-filling' blue's

these messed up feelings
inside and blue
because i didn't have the sense
not to fall in love with you

Deep Inside Of Me

There is something deep inside of me that screams out for you,
Your name,
Your Trust,
Your Touch,
Your Kiss,
Every moment we spent,
I don't want to live another day without you,
I don't want to sleep,
I don't want to dream about you,
I hate it how it makes me feel,
I miss waking next to you,
Waking next to you made me felt safe,
Deep inside of me,
Made me want to kiss you again,
You took away my pain,
My sadness,
I hate it when I think about you,
The time we spent together,
Was never forgotten,
Deep inside of me is dying,
I can't believe it hurts this much,
Why can't I let you go,
Deep inside of me is fading,
Waiting for you,
Slowly I am losing you by every mintue,
Never knew it will hurt me this much,
Sadly we fade away.

Footsteps (Killing F(r) iends On Paper)

The sound of
footsteps
in the gravel
behind you
makes you turn.
Your eyes widen
and your jaw drops
as does your
smoking cigarette.
You stare at me
for a second
or two.
You are not smiling
and though
your mouth moves
it speaks no words.
Gunshot breaks this silence
as your head explodes
in a cloud of red mist
and bone.
I smell gunpowder.
Look down
on your headless torso,
picks op stained
still smoking cigarette,
noticing for the first time
the shotgun in my hand.
My brain is numb.
Voice
sounds strange
and distant
as I call
the Cops.
I feel the wind
I see the sun
I taste metal
I hear the birds

...but not the
2nd gunshot

Mistake of Fact!

Crow! Crow!
Male crow! Female crow!
Love each other,
Wife and husband;

Wife crow lays eggs,
All are white!
Husband crow suspects
Loyalty and fidelity;

Ignorant husband,
Innocent wife,
Wife crow shows
other nests;

Trust assured
Sorry sorry,
Mistake of Fact, Forget it,
We love for ever!

Spirit In Black

Welcome to my world
Involve yourself within my dream
Experience a life
Just like your mind thought not to be
Take a look through time
As past or present words to be
I rule this inferno
Enthroned for eternity

Coils of the serpent unwind
Buried beneath you will find
Deep in the halls of the damned
Spirit in black till the journey's end

Spirits damned to rot
Amidst the brimstone fireballs
Eyes of the dead
Watching from their living walls
Broken glass reflections
Show your flesh eaten away
Beyond the gates I'll take you
Where the blood forever rains

Coils of the serpent unwind
Buried beneath you will find
Deep in the halls of the damned
Spirit in black till the journey's end

Afterlife confessions
Tell me who you used to be
Looking on in wonder
As I show you it was me
Burning from within
You know one spark is all it takes
Hear the piercing cries of all
Who found that hell awaits

Living nightmare can't you see
You really have no choice
Faded memories haunt you
Listen clearly to my voice
Feed me all your hatred
Empty all your thoughts to me
I can fill your emptiness
With immortality

Welcome to my world
Involve yourself within my dream
Experience a life just like your mind thought not to be
Take a look through time
As past or present words to be
I rule this inferno
Enthroned for eternity

Ehhh

The man looked up to the sky and shouted
He walked, he ran, he babbled, he cried
The city looked in astonishment at the man’s insane cries for the unknown
He would go home, and turn all the lights out
The city would hear saws, they would hear screams and cries
They believed them to be his own, so no one payed attention
One day, he did not go home, he did not go helplessly to his house
He simply stood and babbled, the name, the name of a man
His voice bore the pain of a fallen angel, they believed him to be possessed
No one payed attention, they simply watched as his actions would change
Instead of working inside his house, the man would tear his house apart.
The next day, when all the walls were gone, and the house retained no security
The city reaped its carelesness
Inside the house, the man kept, bodies
Not only human bodies, but animals.
He would sneak in the deep of the night, and rob graves.

Where Are the Birds of Wenzhou, Bei Bei

‘The skies are empty and grey at dawn,
They’re empty and brown at noon,
Where are the birds of Wenzhou, Bei Bei
Deep in the afternoon?
Even at dusk when the air is still
Or the cool breath heaves from the sea,
I wait for the beat of wings then, Bei Bei
Rushing to comfort me.’

‘The birds were once when the paddy fields
Ran down by the river tides,
When the sky was blue and the air was clean
And the trees reached up to the stars.
The birds were here when the skies were clear
No buildings blocked the view...’
‘But where are the birds of Wenzhou, Bei Bei
Why have they gone from you? ’

‘They left when the smog came rolling in
And the insects died on the ground,
When the grass turned white and the acid rain
Caused all the trees to drown.
They left when the river turned yellow mud
And the fields died under the road,
When men built towers of thirty floors,
They left the town in droves.’

The skies are empty and grey at dawn,
They’re empty and brown at noon.
‘The birds of Wenzhou took their nests
And travelled to old Hangzhou.
They went to live by a wondrous lake
That tales will tell, is blue...’
‘Where are the birds of Wenzhou, Bei Bei...
Have they forsaken you? ’

Screaming pain

The silent screams inside
Nobody does hear
But me.

The screams of fear.
The screams of pain.
The screams of past pain endured.
No body knows.

The screams of hurt.
The screams that huant.
The screams of despair.
The screams of loneliness.
The screams of death.

Im screaming inside out.
With nobody to hear
Im screaming with pain.

Im screaming and screaming
Let me forget

Grey Ocean

While walking on her beach
I met an Ocean
This event will stay with me forever
This is why

While looking very closely at the Ocean,
I noticed that it was Grey
This startled me
I had thought that all Oceans were blue
Not Grey

I looked at the Ocean and said
'Why on earth are you Grey? '

It let out a cry which stated
'Well, because I'm made of stones! '

I asked it why it was stone
It then told me long tale
About how children use to throw rocks at the Ocean
It said that the rocks slowly filled up the Ocean
This anger me greatly

So now
Everytime I see a child throwing rocks at oceans
I tell them the story of the Grey Ocean

They never believe me.

When I Close my Eyes

When I close my eyes,
I can see my country,
Shining in the light, bright.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the trees,
Green against the skyline.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see stars shining cross,
The wide beyond.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the sunset behind your hair,
Halo shining in the air.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I hear the ocean waves,
Crashing on the shore.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the moon glistening,
Through your eyes.
When I close my eyes.
