A Sonnet (San Suu Kyu)
Aung San Suu Kyu the fragrant daughter of a Burmese
general is a scented lovely lady. Four years ago when
she was 60 I wrote her a poem and it disappeared into
the www. It’s her dignity and silence I find compelling
I wouldn’t mind waking up in the morning and find her
face on the pillow beside me. Yes, I know call me what
ever you want, had she looked like Hillary Clinton, I
would have protested against 18 month house arrest
but my heart wouldn’t have been involved; now I feel
as I’m losing her forever and I will never meet her and
and say the three words I have waited so long to say.
She is a symbol of peace and democracy, ok so I leave
the politics up to you, all I want her to do is to see me
smile and recognize my love for her.

My Love Renewed
Everyday I see you where you go
Every step every move I notice
I can’t get you off my mind
Your face is on the ceiling above me
And the ground below me
You tempt me in my deepest dreams
Emotions fly past in a world of color
Is this dream telling me something?
What is it telling me?
What are you trying to tell me, I call
The answer I receive is my fast
And heavy breath in my cold room in the dark
With my brain spinning around in circles
I think I get how you make me feel
I finally get what my heart already knew
And what my mind was telling me
That I must tell you
Share my inner most feelings about you
And hopefully by some chance you feel the same
I can tell by that smile and the stare in your
Eye that you must feel the same
Can you give a nod or say yes?

Laughing and singing in my sleep
I wake each morning with a smile on my face

I wrote this poem out of recent events that have passed
And are looking out toward the new ones that we may see
We shall make milestones and celebrate each one
With either a hug, high five, a kiss, or sticking out our tongues

15 Years Under House Arrest
15 years under house arrest,
I am now free to write out my mind!
For the muse of this love is like the suffereing masses of this world.
They came and they locked me up,
Thinking that they've silenced me forever;
But i am now free at last! !
Yes, free from the hands of the workers of evil;
And i realyy know what i went through.
With tears, toil and pain;
This was like the story of 'Aung San Suu Kyi' of Myanmar! !
But the heavens opened the windows and poured down heavy rainfall,
There and then i gained my joy to write this poem.
Thanks to my mother who gave me much hope,
But peace to my father who was no there!
Because he was busy somewhere else;
And to my siblings i say a big thank you! !
The cruel of mankind,
Of my experiences under house arrest;
But i am now free to write out my mind,
Because a well planted seed will surely grow out no matter what!

I Can No Longer Live For you
I spent my life loving you-
not someone like you, but YOU;
not a part of you, but YOU.
I spent my life knowing you,
hearing your heartbeat, painting your smile;
memorizing your thoughts, reading your eyes.
You thought that if you wear a mask,
I wouldn't know at all.
But then I do, coz all my life
I did nothing but living for you.
It's not your face that matters at all,
I can always see your soul.
You might not tell me if youre there
but I can feel your shadows.
It's not your voice that matters at all,
I can always hear your heart.
I can recognize your footsteps,

Who Had Settled My Temple Of Love
People when you meet my beloved
Please tell him that I missed him so
Please tell him that I missed his angelic smile
Tell him that mylife is empty without his love
Tell him that I missed his charming eyes
Maybe the flame of our love deserted his heart

The silence of our conversation

Your Dog Dies
it gets run over by a van.
you find it at the side of the road
and bury it.
you feel bad about it.
you feel bad personally,
but you feel bad for your daughter
because it was her pet,
and she loved it so.
she used to croon to it
and let it sleep in her bed.
you write a poem about it.
you call it a poem for your daughter,
about the dog getting run over by a van
and how you looked after it,
took it out into the woods
and buried it deep, deep,
and that poem turns out so good
you're almost glad the little dog
was run over, or else you'd never
have written that good poem.
then you sit down to write
a poem about writing a poem
about the death of that dog,
but while you're writing you
hear a woman scream
your name, your first name,
both syllables,
and your heart stops.
after a minute, you continue writing.
she screams again.
you wonder how long this can go on.

A Painful Love
If I became crippeled or maimed
Would I have your love or just your pity?
Would you cherish and take care of me?
Or would you put me in a nursing home?
And go on with your life, as if I never existed
I would never want your, pity only your love
If I should ever become that way, just let me die
Your love so cruel, hardly ever a touch
In my time of need, when I love you so much
You turn away from me, as if a polite stranger
But it must be love, because I feel no danger
You don't beat me or abuse me, so it's got to be love

I waited so long 9 months in fact, the birth it felt like an attack
I waited so long to turn my back, on childhood and 12 years intact

A Ode Poem To You
My mother gave me an ode poem, oh how I love that poem
The scene of her perfume on it, the picture of me in her arms
This letter I keep with me all the time, I love it so much I sleep with it under my pillow
To her nice hand writing, to the black ink she wrote in, she wrote until her ink went low
My poem is great, my poem is wonderful, to the white paper she wrote on it’s beautiful
To the green words of the title, my poem she gave me is the best

My flamingo in June
A love poem.
My flamingo in June:
My aching heart skips a beat,
And an endless moment blends with time,
Peculiar in itself does this seem to me
But thus this moment becomes mine.
This warm tingling sensation in the back of my mind
Something I've always searched for
But could never seem to find.
The way I see the world forever changed.
You may even find this funny, find this crazy, find this silly, find this strange.
But trust me none of you would say this if you've ever felt this way.
It's something that I crave now, every second, of every day.
And it's something I wouldn't trade for the world,
However new it feels to me.
It's something that used to be cliche,
Slightly astute, and cabaret.
It's just something that feels right you see.
No matter how much the irony.
The light seems to shine brighter upon this face,
Like a warm and gentle, light embrace.
It tears my soul to not be here,
I close my eyes and draw her near.
But try as I may it's not the same,
No matter how long I play the game.
So instead I wait and pine,
Over the one it took so long to find.

And await patiently for a sign.
I sit back and reminisce,
And smile at my inner bliss.

Your Poems About Love Revisited
the first poem that you really find it hard to write
is to write an image which must tell her
that you love her truly from the bottom of your heart, and then
the most beautiful poem comes from her when she admits that she
also loves you with all her heart and soul and mind,
and then the saddest poem
was not written.
it was when everything ended.
the years passed.
and you do not even know
where she is.
