The Holy Land
I want to see the night sky from Bethlehem
and look at that bright star once again.
I want to wet my head in the River Jordan
at the place where baptisms were done.
I would like to swim in the Sea of Galilee
where the fishers of men used to be.
I would like to breathe the air at Gethsemane
and visualise the scenes from history.
I would like to feel my heart beat at Calvary
where Christ was crucified for humanity.
Visit Jerusalem and all its holy places
and see the joy on everyone’s faces.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem How Glad
Jerusalem, Jerusalem how glad

in thee blessed city at remains

Jerusalem, Jerusalem Oh how glad

stations of The Cross to have passed.
Jerusalem, Jerusalem Oh how glad

For Jesus in agony fear here sweated
blood in prayer to heaven to father God;
when last among these olives he stood

Almighty God this is thy most sacred Holy City still

Pilgrims To The East
This Christmas-time my son will come,
God willing, to the Holy Place
And by the manger's little room
Will bend his knee and bow his face,
Eager, with shepherds and with kings,
For to behold the Holy Things.
The very child I made will see,
God willing, little Bethlehem,
The Garden of the Agony,
Olivet and Jerusalem
And climb to Calvary's sacred hill --
Ah, but the world is Calvary still!
My own son's feet the dust shall press,
God willing, where the Holy Feet
Passed on His Father's business:
And some high room above the street
Shall stir a memory of that Feast
Where He himself was Eucharist.
Yea, by the Gate called Beautiful
My son, my little son, shall go
And bathe in Siloam's healing pool.
Yet if God will not have it so
At least my son, in His high Name,
Has travelled towards Jerusalem.

Prophecy Of Head And Heel Wounds
Goliath’s head David dragged to Jerusalem
buried under Golgotha Skull Place impaled
Calvary to be place where Adam Eve sinned
David commanded by God Goliath’s head
here buried beneath this spot in Jerusalem
to fulfill God’s prophecy to his bloodline
God’s judgement on shinning one Satan
Moses by Holy Spirit this promise penned
'And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise
you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel'
Genesis 3: 15.
blood of Christ washes over Goliath’s head
at Calvary the messiah bloodline of David
through Mary will this prophecy time be fulfilled

There’s a ancient story
There’s an ancient story
of God and of men,
of the holy Lord Jesus
born in Bethlehem.
Of shepherds in the field
watching their flock at night
and an angel so bright
that they had to shield their eyes
telling about the Son of God,
the Prince of Peace being born
and angels that sing praises to Him.
Of wise men from the East
following a bright star,
coming from very far
with gifts of gold,
frankincense and myrrh
for the newborn king
Of king Herod
when he heard about the child
let his soldiers kill
all the children
in and around Bethlehem
who were two years and younger
and of Jesus Christ escaping to Egypt
Of God the Son, Jesus
in innocence being crucified
for the sins of all men
and rising from the dead
to be alive and God again.

What Used To Be
I was too, once deceived, but through God’s Word I believed,
Knowledge of God, I had none, but then I embraced His Son.
I was too, a sinner lost, but then I read about Calvary’s cross,
Where The Lord was crucified, and for all my sin He had died.
Though darkness was all around, by Christ Jesus I was found,
Giving me through His Light, a path to life, out from my night.
Christ sent me the Holy Spirit, to teach me Truth when I hear it,
To grow in the knowledge of Him, who saved me from my sin.
I was separated from a Holy God, upon this fallen earthly sod,
But, brought into His family, through Christ’s Cross at Calvary.
In my trespasses, I was dead, no matter what my religion said,
But, from The Son, Jesus Christ, I was given by God New Life.
In my previous life I was all alone, left on earth to simply roam,
Now my Shepherd and my guide, Christ, is always by my side.
Once I had lived with uncertainty, about the time called eternity,
Now I know through His Grace, in heaven for me awaits a place.
A place for me’s been secured, by Jesus Christ my loving Lord,
Where in His presence I shall be, and, throughout all of Eternity.
And friend God wants you to know, you can have a place to go,
To live with Him in heaven above, provided by our Savior’s love.

Bible In Poetry: Gospel Of St. Mark (Chapter 0)
Introduction:
The shortest of the gospels all,
In Testament Anew Bible,
Of Jesus’ miracles, tells well.
Perhaps, the first ever written,
By Jesus’ disciple Mark when
Jesus preached about Heaven.
It starts with Baptist John’s forecast
Of Messiah’s advent (or Christ):
John baptizes the Son of Man,
In river Jordan in his span.
But Jesus came to baptize all
By Holy Spirit, by God’s call.
And Jesus Christ, the ‘Son of Man’,
Is tempted by himself Satan;
Though Jesus Christ is victorious,
Is crucified to death on cross!
‘The Kingdom of Heaven is near;
Repent; have faith; live without fear, ’
Through parables, Jesus teaches,
Of God’s kingdom, He thus preaches.
All afflicted, Jesus heals /cures;
And out from men, demons, He drives;
Makes fishermen, ‘Fishers of men’!
He shows the way for all, Heaven.
In A.D.70, it’s written.

Born Under A Star
Do you remember the story, of the Bethlehem Star
There in that land long ago, and so very far
I know it is hard for us to see
To fathom or even believe
But do you remember, that day, there at Gethsemane
There at that place, for you and even me
Oh...Ohoo... And then, there again, at Calvary
There his life, for me and even thee
Now can we understand about that shining bright light
That glorious birth, for us to remember, for ever that night
Now you know why, His birth under a star
Our Saviour sacrificed, gave us everything, from that land afar
The Prince of Peace, taught how to love
Remember, to forgive, and how to pray, to Father above
His promised love
Has broken the chains, that surround our hearts
Love and tears and then floods, began to start
Washing, burning relif, for our souls
His promised love, made us completely whole
His promised love, has carried us just so far
Giving us love, and everything, even yet
Born in a manger, under that star

From History We've Not Learned
Men crucified the one millions now worship more than two thousand years ago
Yet many men they are as cruel today and any compassion towards others they never seem to show
And the gifts of compassion and empathy to the special few belong
And many far too many seemingly cannot tell right from wrong
Two thousand and seven years ago Jesus Christ was crucified
And nailed to a timber cross on Calvary slowly and painfully he died
Yet we have not learned from human history and it does seem sad to say
That nowadays many decent people die in the foulest way,
The war supposed to end all wars did not live up to it's tag
Young people dying in war zones every day for God and Land and Flag
Before we learn the lesson of history how many more must die
War men mock the sacredness of human life and many wars based on a lie
It has been more than two thousand years since Christ died on Calvary
And from history we've not learned a thing that's how 'twould seem to be.

Psalm 122
I will worship you in Spirit and Truth
My delight is to come to this place
The place where you dwell in your sanctuary
Where we lift up our eyes to thy Face
And together with my brothers and sisters
I shall come before thy throne
You're the bright morning star, the Son of God
You're the Christ, the chief cornerstone
This place that I find you is Spirit and Truth
It dwells in the heart of men
The New Jerusalem, the heart of God
Of its glory I shall write with my pen
And the house of David lives on forever
And we dwell in the holy of holies
We dwell in the midst of your burning heart
In this place our spirits are free

Silent Night Medley
O holy night the stars are brightly shining
This is the night of our dear saviors birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and his soul felt its worth
At thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels voices
O night divine
O night when christ was born
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels voices
O night divine
O night when christ was born
O come o ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye o come ye to bethlehem
Come and behold him, born the king of angels
O come let us adore him
O come let us adore him
O come let us adore him christ the lord.
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels voices
O night divine
O night when christ was born
Oh night divine o night o holy
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Woah
Oh holy night
When jesus was born
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Look at those stars in the sky
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Jesus was born tonight
Oh holy night
Oh holy night
Oh holy night

The Same Star
The same star that led the wise men to Bethlehem
brought us together at Christmas time.
We never followed it like the wise men,
The bright star gave us light
Since it is the power of God's Love.
Today the star is bright
Just like it was on Christmas day.
Maybe the Saints are still celebrating Jesus birth.
The star is still bright
And it reminds us of Christmas day.
Even though Jesus was born so long ago.
The same star shines everyday.
It reminds us, 'Christ has died;
Christ is risen and Christ will come again

Oh Jordan River Lord Say Lay My Burdens On Thee
Oh Jordan River Lord Say Lay My Burdens On Thee
Oh Jordan River down yonder where the
Black sea sings,
Oh Jordan River, cry loud with me
Oh Jordan River the blood in my hand
Oh Jordan River, the black sea sings
Oh Jordan River, lord come for me
Oh Jordan River lord say I be free
Oh Jordan River, lord protect me
Negroes at the river wanna be free
Oh Jordan river put chains on me
Oh Jordan river take my baby from me
Oh Jordan river lord waits for me
Going to break the chains
Down yonder by the black sea
Oh Jordan river I sing to thee
Oh Jordan River the master say
Nigger’s got to serve them
But lord say I free
Oh Jordan River, I'm bound to lord savior,
walking in the black river,
Oh Jordan River saves me.
I‘sa a free mind train
I set me free
Oh Jordan River
Lord say I Free

Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem
(A.I. Phipps)
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem
Shining afar through shadows dim
Giving the light for those who long have gone
Guiding the wise men on their way
Unto the place where Jesus lay
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem, shine on
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem
(Beautiful, beautiful star)Of Bethlehem
(Star of Bethlehem)
Shine upon us until the glory dawns
Give us the light to light the way
Unto the land of perfect day
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem, shine on
Oh beautiful star, the hope of life
Guiding the pilgrims through the night
Over the mountains till the break of dawn
Into the light of perfect day
It will give out a lovely ray
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem, shine on
Oh beautiful star, the hope of rest
For the redeemed, the good and the blest
Yonder in glory when the crown is won
Where Jesus is now the star divine
Brighter and brighter he will shine
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem, shine on

Lonesome Ranger
I'm traveling in this beat up pick up truck.
The back seat door doesn't even open up.
Each and every day I have no clue where I'm going.
But still I'm on my way.
To new air, new places, new faces.
How do you do stranger?
I feel like the lonesome ranger.
Working along the highway all day.
People driving by saying all kinds of things.
Asking the occasional amonish and farmer for one or two favors.
A place to park the trucks, a place to get up and start.
One, Two, Three, and it's ready set go.
I'm traveling in this beat up pick up truck.
The back seat door doesn't even open up.
Each and every day I have no clue where I'm going.
But still I'm on my way.
To new air, new places, no faces.
How do you do stranger?
I feel like the lonesome ranger.
The night comes and the sun is gone.
The stars mark the way.
I can see the city lights before I arrive.
God their so bright.
Which bar am I going too?
With the money that has been made.
It is time to celebrate.
The weekend has come and soon my brian will be gone.
Hooking up with another one stand.
Cause nobody want to be with a man that is never home.
I'm traveling in this beat up pick up truck.
The back seat door doesn't even open up.
Each and every day I have no clue where I'm going.
But still on my way.
To new air, new places, no faces.
How do you do stranger?
I feel like the lonesome ranger.
From the mountain, to the backwoods, and rivers, down to the valley of Pennsylvania.
I would never leave this place not for all the gold in the world.
A mix of every culture, from the all these Catholic Yanks, to the invading spanish and indians, to rednecks that seem more backwards then the ones from the south, to the everlasting Mennonites.
The whole state is covered in all kinds of trees.
So much variety a place that always makes me happy.
I'm traveling in this beat up pick up truck.
The back seat door doesn't even open up.
Each and every day I have no clue where I'm going.
But still on my way.
To new air, new places, no faces.
How do you do stranger?
I feel like the lonesome ranger.

Christmastide
I may not go to-night to Bethlehem,
Nor follow star-directed ways, nor tread
The paths wherein the shepherds walked, that led
To Christ, and peace, and God's good will to men.
I may not hear the Herald Angel's song
Peal through the Oriental skies, nor see
The wonder of that Heavenly company
Announce the King the world had waited long.
The manger throne I may not kneel before,
Or see how man to God is reconciled,
Through pure St. Mary's purer, holier child;
The human Christ these eyes may not adore.
I may not carry frankincense and myrrh
With adoration to the Holy One;
Nor gold have I to give the Perfect Son,
To be with those wise kings a worshipper.
Not mine the joy that Heaven sent to them,
For ages since Time swung and locked his gates,
But I may kneel without--the star still waits
To guide me on to holy Bethlehem.

Beyond The Astral Plane
From books I'd read, I learnt so much
That I thought I was wise...
But all at once felt out of touch
When looked at through God's eyes...
One night upon the Astral Plane
Where I would sometimes go,
My spirit slowly seemed to drain...
How come? I didn't know.
I'd left the Earth to gaze at stars,
The distant suns so bright
And watched the shooting stars that pass
Across the darkest night...
I swam with dolphins there in space,
Beyond their seas and pools...
While angels sang with utmost grace,
Observing all the rules...
But then I heard God's holy voice!
He whispered, 'Calvary...
Forget these visions and their joys...
Repent and pray to Me...'
Then I saw Christ once crucified!
And oh, what tears I wept...
The Astral Plane no more was tried...
For wiser truth I kept...
The Astral Plane? It merely drifts...
With Christ it can't compare!
The Holy Spirit grants His gifts,
Eternity to share...
I've dreamt of Christ... I've seen His love...
There's so much to discuss!
He lives on Earth, He lives above...
To think, Christ died for us...

The Boy Crusader
“Oh father, is that Jerusalem—
Those walls and towers so strong!”
“Ho, boy, we are yet in our own fair France,
That is only Avignon.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, are these the Jordan's banks?
Let us rest in those vineyards fair”
“Ho, boy, these are only the banks of the Rhone,
And we may not linger there.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, I fear them—the waves! the waves!
Is Jerusalem over the sea?”
“Ay, over the sea and then over the hills—
But cling, my boy, to me.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, is that Jerusalem,
Like a shell of gold in the bay?”
Nay, it is only Palermo, boy;
And this is Saint Rosalie's day.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, I feared the sea, but more
I fear this burning sand”
“Good cheer, my boy; take heart of grace,
We tread upon holy land.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, can it be Holy Land,
With all this blood and death?”
“That was Acre we stormed, my boy;
Now let us to Nazareth.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, the hills are so high—so high!
Is Jerusalem very far?”
“Hush, hush, my boy, and I'll tell you the tale
Of the Kings who followed the Star.”
* * * * *
“Oh father, the hills are so steep—so steep!
Will Jerusalem soon be near?”
“Boy, what had it been had you carried the cross,
Instead of your father's spear?”
* * * * *
“Oh father, I am weary and faint;
This must be Calvary!”
“Good cheer, my boy; but one hill more;
Jerusalem is nigh.
“The men-at-arms have passed the ridge.
Hark, boy, how the warriors sing!”
“I only hear the sound of harps,
And waters murmuring.”
‘Wake, boy, this is no time to fail!
Oh best of happy hours!
Behold at length Jerusalem—
Its gates, and domes, and towers!”
“Father, I see Jerusalem,
Ah, nearer than you deem!”
“Your eyes are closed, you see it not,
Or see it in a dream!
“Your eyes are closed, my boy, my boy!
Your face is to the West!”
“Father, I see it overhead,
And, oh, so full of rest!
“There are little children clothed in white,
And angels leading them;
There are streets of gold and gates of pearl!
At last—Jerusalem.
“And our little Marie is beckoning me,
In her hand a diadem.
Father, I must go on before
We'll meet in Jerusalem.”

The Festival Of Lights
A flame ignited the star that led to Bethlehem's light, the same flame that ignites in every heart on Christmas night. The celebration of His life that candles are bright, a gift of love packaged just right. Was it not the nativity scene, the babe in the manager, that angels harp and sing and golden bells ring welcoming the King. Jesus is the festival of lights for His ornaments are so bright upon every Christmas tree an emblem of love alight for thee. Red embodies the supreme sacrifice of Christ upon the cross by He, the sardius stone, a majestic heart set aflame, His transcendent light so we sing silent night. (Yahalom) Diamond of white speaks of purity, translucent prism of holy light reflecting the Shekinah fire bright. When Shiloh, the obedient one, came forth He set the yellow and orange aglow as a holy fire took course, when the Bright and Morning Star broke forth. Blue is a manifestation of the new birth, a new creation thenceforth, the King of Kings proposed to His ransomed bride, my throne by my side you will sit forever and reside. (Yashpeth) Eternal life is sprung because of the triumph that Christ has won. The Sparkling emerald throne is where glory of Lamb of God is shown.

Holy City
Holy City
We arrived here yesterday
Holy city
We sat foot here yesterday
Holy city
We felt in love with you already
Holy city
Is the city where our God was born
Holy city
Here we saw where God died in the cross with Pontius pilate
And risen from his death
Holy City
Today we end up in the Sea of Galilee
It is so good to breathe the fresh air from the Sea of Galilee
This sea is amazing
Holy city
This is a journey we will never forget in our lives
Holy city
Has been an interesting point in our lives
Holy city
Was a discovery of our roots
