Memories Are Giving Me A Bad Time
There’s a dark cloud hovering above me
and it follows wherever I go.
It brings sadness in the form of teardrops,
that taste of salt and sorrow.
My world has become cold and lonely,
and I’ve tried to fight the tears,
but memories are giving me a bad time

The One And Only Time
With spinning blades hovering above the bluest ocean.
I throw out my last life line.
But I should have known.
Maybe I've always known you would jump back in again.
Sometimes you just can't win.
But you still must give it the good fight and do what's right.
And with that done.
I must leave the thoughts of you behind.
The drowning victim.
Screaming for help.
But not willing to help herself.
So afraid of being alone.
But not willing to change it.
Grab and hold on this one last time.
The flight to be free.
Trapped in a mental absurdity.
I'm no good.
Oh I can do no better.
Oh I deserve all the beatings I get.
Keep telling yourself that because it is all you know.
It is all you ever known.
I don't blame or hate you.
But I can not condone what you are doing.
Not when the doing was not necessary.
I was giving you the help you needed to escape.
I was giving you a chance to enjoy every breath you take.
At a expense all my own.
I'll pay to ward off the demons of the black skies.
But only one time.

I can see what I built burning.
The futility of what I tried to do.
It just brings anger in my heart.

Loneliness
When the Dark Brings Tears

I gazed out toward
the cold graveyard
and wondered if
she was peaceful
this night?
Wondered if her eternal sleep
brought to her nightmares
she could not fight?
My eyes gazed from
that cemetery
down
to my
writing pad
and I did frown
upon remembering
the time she placed
her hand in mine
A delicate flower
so very sublime
The Raven calls
and his echo is clear
'Come to the grave
where I am near
Come look down.'
he seems to say
perched on that stone
monument
where she lay
'For your grief
is strong
but weep not
see
Have no fear of
mortality
For a message I bring
to you this night
for death
is but
a long
long flight
My darling dear
do not fret
I lay in this ground
but I am not dead
I live in your heart
and will not stray.'
And with that
the Raven
flew away...
I watched his form
glide into the mist
A dark messenger
yes
And then
I kissed
the stone upon which
he was perched that night
Giving me hope
that she was alright
For death is the beginning
to a journey's end
As the tears stung my eyes
I knew she did send

Sorrow Under Mist
Mist -
Giving wispy vapour to the breath,
Cool calm to autumn afternoons,
A hovering air of mysticism
Over brooding lakes -
Was different here,
Affording company, closeness -
A caring arm around her shoulders.
In the eyes, a once-clear oceanic blue
Wavered under water -
Tears telling torrid truths
She couldn't face -
Like the glowering image in the mirror
You don't see in your mind's eye
Of compensation; delusion.
We see her sitting on the concrete steps
That led down to the dew-laden garden.
She's peering up, sensing her diffuse companion,
Refreshing in its chill; giving crispness
To the stealth of dulling evening.
But the bite of air couldn't lift the sorrow
Of pale youth in love,
Shouldered by a not-in-love and scoffing eye.
Rejection hurt;
Hurts -
Wrenches deep -
Emotion that we can't deny!

and the grief emerges
washes over your being

What brings me joy?
What brings me joy? A cool day in the summer time, the air that flashes across my face,
A gentle kiss that is embraced on my lips, to be held when the lonely feels sets in, Peace with in my heart when there is no one around,
What brings me joy? To know that I am loved and that I could love with no question asked,

Grown men do cry
Old memories which linger still.
Can bring the tear drops to my eyes
Sometimes they take me by surprise
and cause my tears to freely spill.
I’m not afraid to say they do.
There is no reason I should be.
My memories both old and new
are an integral part of me.

Steady As The Rain
Raindrops tumble to the ground
Making puddles all around
Drops of rain that look like tears
Fall on my window pane
Raindrops seem to harmonize
With teardrops falling from my eyes
And my tears keep falling down

Happiness And Sadness
Happiness what is it, is it love,
or is it just another sound, another word,
happiness is just another thing,
happiness is just another thing to believe in,
Happiness is only for those who deserve,
those who do not won't get the happiness,
those who are happy I pity them,
they know nothing, nothing about this world,
Happiness is evil, we may not see this,
but its true, happiness is evil in so many ways,
happiness is a disguise for the true world,

How can you lose your world, as the world is you yourself?
Why you lose your dreams
If they are so beautiful?
Why the tears fall down from your eyes
And disappear in the ground?
Why your heart breaks
If its beats represent life?
But how can you lose your world, as the world is you yourself?
Then why you lose your world
If love is your world?
Why your eyes full with tears
If your eyes are so beautiful?
Why sorrow comes
After every happiness?
And how can you lose your world, as the world is you yourself?
As life is nothing but ups and downs
You feel pain and cry,
And you forget everything with the time.
If you do not gain anything, you do not lose anything too.
So, how can you lose your world, as the world is you yourself?
Oh it’s nothing but life!
No one can become your world
You yourself is the whole world for you.
So, how can you lose your world, as the world is you yourself?
Tears trickle down your cheeks like droplets of rain,
And after every sorrow happiness comes
And after every sunset there is a sunrise
So, how can you lose the world, as the world is you yourself?
Depression! ! !
Depression...One of the worst emotions you can feel.
Your body would feel so empty and cold inside when it happens.
Your mind start to bring up the good memories that you had but it makes you feel more awful in the same time. Depression is one of the emotions I feel sometimes. No more anger building inside my body. No more sadness as my tears goes down my face. It’s only depression itself that drives people to doing bad things. It leads to self inflicting pain. It leads to suffering of thinking over and over and over again about something that made you depressed in the first place. Then it leads to...Death a fool's choice to escape it not knowing the consequences that leads ahead.
I can't believe that depression hit my heart.
As my heart thickens with its spread of Sadness, Anger, Fear, Sorrow and Death.
As this poem ends, just remember that never let depression cloud your choices in life.
