When you wake up in the morning
with no smile upon your face,
and you think everyone’s against you
and in life you have no place.
You’re going through the motions
and just getting through your day,
and everyday you ask yourself
why should life be this way.
No money to build your dreams on
barely enough to get you by.
No one to love, hug, or kiss you,
or to dry a tear from your eye.
No one to share your troubles with,
because no one wants to know.
Your life is passing you quickly by
and you have no place to go.
I used to see you out with friends
when I went out Saturday nights,
but for a while you’ve not been there
and I wondered if you were alright.
I’ve missed your smiling eyes and sparkle,
and your laughter about the place.
Would you like to smile and laugh again,
and show the world your happy face?
I suppose I’m asking to take you out
to anywhere you would feel at ease.

Without A Laugh Day
Some people about money they worry themselves gray
But life is scarce worth living without a laugh a day
For if you live without laughter how boring your life must be
You are worse off than a pauper though you may be well off financially.
Who could not love the sound of laughter to it there is such a happy ring
And the simple gift of laughter it is such a marvellous thing
And those without the gift of laughter deserve some sympathy
For sad faced and humourless people do not make good company.
The person who cannot laugh at a party out of place
And people always warm to the one with a happy and a smiling face
And with those who say that laughter is the best of medicine
How could one disagree
It has a warm glow to it that's how 'twould seem to me.
Some though financialy well off seem sad faced all of the time

I smile at the morning sun,

'what makes you smile everyday? ',
question that i heard everytime i passed by,
i smile when i see sky and moon,
i smile when it's raining,
i smile even when i'm under hot sun.

i smile when i'm depressed,
i smile even if i'm sad.

Smile when you get the amazing opportunity to slow dance with the boy or girl, who is better than your dreams. Smile to basically thank that you are alive. Smile when you blast your iTunes on screaming speakers at one of your teenage parties. Smile when you feel wild and passionate, swinging your hair side you side like a rock star, letting the flowing music notes fly through the air into your ears. Smile and laughter go together like a teeny Chihuahua and a mini purse on a famous celebrity’s shoulder. Rarely have one without the other. Laughter normally is if something is hysterical or if something is intensely amazing. Smiling is more generic, as in appreciated anything or anyone. Sometimes, too much smiling turns into the beautiful sound of laughter. Smile when everyone gets along. Smile when everything fits into place, with no stress whatsoever. Smile when you win first in something you love and have been working brutally on. Smile when you can be your self in front of anyone and not feel embarrassed or awkward. Smile just to smile.

Makeup
When you wake up in the morning
And you put the makeup upon your face
Do you try to cover up the age and lines
Or only the sins and deceptions and the disgrace.
Do you try to place on a happy smile
By putting bright lipstick upon your lips
Or do you try to cover up your own hard life
Something that someone like you never forgets.
And as you look into your mirror
Do you powder the many lines upon your face
The lines that has stretched from years ago
Unto the present days of your life and waste.
Do you try to cover up the bags under your eyes
From all the many restless and sleepless nights
The nights when you cared not where you went
As long as you went and held on to someone tight.
Do you place the powder upon your cheeks
To make you look so cheerful and so very nice
But as they say you cant judge a book by its cover

With your makeup in front of you and on the shelf
Does it take you a little longer to put it on each day
