I Lost It

Sometime ago I lost my grip on reality
and drifted from here to there.
The whole experience was totally surreal,
and it’s something I don’t usually share.

Life in that world is not to be recommended,
the places were pure science fiction and weird,
the creatures were illogical, but intelligent,
extremely intriguing, and yet to be feared.

No one moved their mouths when talking,
and they gestured with arms and feet.
Their eyes and tongues did incredible things;
and the places we were in, did speak.

I was moving without thinking or walking,
in an instant I was here and then there.
With no idea of where I was going next,
I travelled between zip codes in the air.

The imaginary combined with reality,
and this became normality everyday.
I couldn’t distinguish between them,
until the unreal just faded away.

Real Fiction

There are two kinds of fiction to find…
One in the world and the other in the mind.

When unpleasant things happen for real
With which the real mind is unable to deal,
It creates a world of fiction so it can survive
In order to justify that its unreal beliefs are alive.

These unreal beliefs have a real world all alone
As they deny real facts with data of their own.
Their fiction continues as world events transpire
With interpretation to support beliefs they require.

The world of fiction will collide with the world of real
As its members seek reality, it will lose its appeal.
Unless it dispenses with its delusions of the facts,
It will disappear as it's devoured by the reality it lacks.

No Place For Angels

you first seduce me
baptized with fire
my one addiction
your sweet desire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
i feel the madness
with jesus liar
the one creation
obsessed by fire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
you may think im just a crazy guy
in my world of madmans brain
do i live my life in a fake disguise
is my world just caving in?
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal

Telling Stories

There is fiction in the space between
The lines on your page of memories
Write it down but it doesnt mean
Youre not just telling stories
There is fiction in the space between
You and me
There is fiction in the space between
You and reality
You will do and say anything
To make your everyday life
Seem less mundane
There is fiction in the space between
You and me
Theres a science fiction in the space between
You and me
A fabrication of a grand scheme
Where I am the scary monster
I eat the city and as I leave the scene
In my spaceship I am laughing
In your remembrance of your bad dream
Theres no one but you standing
Leave the pity and the blame
For the ones who do not speak
You write the words to get respect and compassion
And for posterity
You write the words and make believe
There is truth in the space between
There is fiction in the space between
You and everybody
Give us all what we need
Give us one more sad sordid story
But in the fiction of the space between
Sometimes a lie is the best thing
Sometimes a lie is the best thing

Poetry Is Movement Without Effort

Poetry is movement without effort
Poetry should take you to places far beyond what your eyes can see
Take you to places where you can be free
Poetry is movement without effort
All you have to do is think and feel
and it will move you
and make your experiences real
poetry can cause pictures to form in your mind
speak a thousand verbs, a thousand nouns, or a thousand rhymes
all written for you to experience on a personal level
poetry is a journey
to self discovery
out of a thousand doorways to roads never walked travelled or taken
poetry can cause your eyes and your heart to awaken
remind you of a friend’s love remind you that your never forsaken
because while you live you can experience life to the full
poetry is movement it is a tool
for cataloguing things seen and unseen
for poetry can be the very fabric from which we dream!

Gotta Have You

Never been too much for watching
Cause theres too many things to view
And when eyes begin to wander
They more than likely never get through
But beyond my own temptation
Im enticed by what I see
And I wont feel satisfaction
Until shes where I want her to be
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
I gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Never been too much for talking
Cause theres too many things to say
And by the time that I start speaking
The right moment has slipped away
But I must break this old tradition
And try to muster up the words
And though someone else may have said them
Ill say them in way youve never heard
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Ive gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
(repeat)
Never been too much for touching
Cause theres too many things to feel
Plus theres too much disappointment
When you find out those feelings aint real
But heres a time when inner senses
Are gonna have to shine the light
Cause I have overly committed
Myself in thinking that youre alright
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
I gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
(repeat)

Can I like a child

Can I like a child
walk barefoot through life
without worrying,
where my feet treads,
the world would have stayed
big to me.

No stones of thorns
or hot tar roads
would have stopped me then,
to go back
to the old places.

Only in thoughts
a person can stop
somewhere in life
and see things,
through the eyes of a child.

Still life goes on
with its own pace and outcome
and we are all destined
to the reality of life
and of time
that ticks on
without delay.

Imaginary

The imaginary power takes over the world, and the people in it.
Making minute things important, and important things unnecessary.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary status places and artificial happiness over the world, and the people in it.
Creating avoidable conflicts to arise at new magnitudes.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary wealth controls the world, and the people in it.
Presenting new desirable ideas to replace the already insufficient ones.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary need drives selfishness in the world, and the people in it.
Allowing happiness, fear, and lust to lead their lives.
And so the world turns.

This world is unfortunately not imaginary,
Going day to day with imaginary things at the center of the lives of all.
Soon the world will no longer turn.

Monday to friday blues

Feelings of despair blind those that already see in colors black and white, eyes a gift in yours and my life. Life an experience sometimes like Hard hitting beats and many a time like subtle melodies, at a time when memories existed literally.

But now exists figuratively like fantasies, dreams never to become reality, a thing of the future it will never be, cuz experience has taught me many of life’s cruel lessons you see.

I go to war with my thoughts constantly on a daily bases trying to fight these demons that govern my whole being it takes me places, places where only darkness exists,20 thousand feet underneath please, I say please, but still I seem never to be at ease.

wake me up from this dream, Wake me, so I can peacefully be, be like any other human being, dream of better things, inhale the scent that covers the winds, gaze at trees swaying as thought they were speaking to me saying…. Hang in there your day is coming, coming soon, on a half moon, I’ll send you clues, forget about those Monday to Friday blues, let’s call it truce, so you, you my dearest can become, become a better you….

Imaginary Life

She would swim with the dolphins ,
In the sea,
In her dreams there is nothing she can't do or be,

She only wants to escape reality,
And for awhile she soars free,
Imaginary life,
sometime helps her escape,
The real world that surrounds her.
With her unknown fate,

She would soar the sky,
a butterfly,
A fairy tale princess,
who is saved,
By a knight in shining armor,
Making a cold lonely night seem warmer.

Than the morning comes,
and her dreams fade.
Reality awakens her in the sunrise,
Stealing her away from her imaginary life.
When she was a child,

Fairy tales had a happy ending,
And for awhile,
It was fun pretending,
But she learns to well,
Life is no fairy tale,
Sometime a princss never becomes a queen.

Only if she closes her eyes,
She can live her dream,
in a imaginary life,
Taking her away from reality,
She would swim with the dolphins in the sea.

There are Places (From, To Oscar Act III)

There are places so far away
Where the ocean has its spell
And dark doesn't leave the day
When the night says its farewell
There are times of lasting things
Further out in unknown nowhere
Where a different world sings
Remote from all the reality here

Something no one listens too
For the dreams are very brief
Wishful themes and quite new
That so soon must split and leave
Every heart is what you'll know
Nothing else to reach there out
Wandering waves in tides flow
Reaching to those shores about

There are pleases in the sea
Further on and tenebrific now
Where we all would want to be
But never can reach to somehow
For in reality we must hearken
Holding on to what we're seeing
If there's some somewhat darken
We are not suppose to believing

There are places so far away
Where the oceans has its spell
And dark doesn't leave the day
When the night says its farewell
There are times of lasting things
Further out in unknown nowhere
Where a different world sings
Remote from all the reality here

(Inspired by a whale that came up the Thames)

Fiction

she's lost in coma where it's beautiful.
Intoxicated from the deep sleep, deep sleep.
Do you wonder what it's like living in a permanent imagination.
Sleeping to escape reality, but you like it like that.
Guilty by design, she's nothing more than fiction.
She dreams in digital, cause it's better than nothing.
Now that control is gone. it seems unreal.
She's dreaming in digital, cause it's better than nothing
Now that control is gone. it seems unreal.
She's dreaming in digital. she dreams in digital.
And your pixel army can't save you now.
My finger is on the kill switch.
I remember i used to compose your dreams, control your dreams.
And don't be afraid to expose yourself before i shut you down.
You made some changes since the virus caught you sleeping.
She's guilty by design. (cause it's better than nothing.)
Now that control is gone. it seems unreal.
She's dreaming in digital. (she's nothing more than fiction.)
Cause it's better than nothing. now that control is gone.
It seems unreal.
She's dreaming in digital.

Just A Thought... Something To Share

The pillar of time will test us
humans as we grow older and wiser
with each passing year
we see the good the bad
the strange the weird
the sad the glad
what ever else life has to share
but through it all
through all the pain
the growth the wars
the disasters
that plague this earth
we stand tall and proud
Often we tend to forget
were we come from and who we are
we feel lost alone like nobody cares
but in reality, we just have to
reach out a hand to be loved
to be cared, to be protected,
we tend to think our family’s do not care
but in reality they do they just
don’t know how to show you
how they feel what they need
Humanity is strange as we
often ponder on life’s ifs and buts
sometimes we do things that we regret
thinking at the time it was right
you see the mistakes one dose in their lives
we shake our heads thinking if only I knew
what I now know back then as a teenager
this may be a poem or just a thought
but it was something that needed to be said
something I wanted to share
Who knows if this will help others
to understand the meaning of life
who knows what it really means
to live a full life, to know
and shares ones dreams or
just to accept ones owns fallacy’s
as a human being
live the day, live the moment
and you will be free to be who you want to be.

Slowing Down

did we not believe that something that is fast
is good, equating it with the benevolence of efficiency?
we are convinced and we get carried away
and so our nerves are fast our bones do not rattle
our feet keep on running and our hands are always on for something
something to do as though idleness is death
and sickness, as though rest is a mortal sin and death is heinous,
our eyes roll and we keep on talking and talking about plans
plan A, and if this does not work proceed to plan B,
B-1 to B-5, and everyday is always a commotion
of beeps and buzzers, and the doors keep on closing and opening,
never shutting up like our mouths
meetings and overnight discussions with what to do with this world
too, it is never at rest, spinning on its axis and engaging in revolutions.

old age comes with staff and near blindness, arms shaking, feet mossy,
and minds getting stoical to doubts and confusions: it is time to stop
to slow down a bit, to know what wishful thinking is all about:

what if? there are ifs now, and soon there will be a bed of regrets
to bury our weary bodies, soon, there will be a silence not
anymore wanting to ever speak.

Reality

The world that shown by flakes is so hard
Ruining reality
The illusion felt so real
Reality, where is my reality?
Everybody has a deep hole in their heart
Holding the wound and crying
But everybody keep moving forward
The world that shown by flakes
The world that I face now
If think it so
My reality
Reality is already here
Though it’s very painful

Dream of Reincarnation

Words become strange creatures
Swirling through my head
In the black night
As I’m thinking about
Some unidentifiable flying object of despair,
A lonely maiden with soft hair
And wings like a bird
Always in the motion of departure.

I’m lost to reality and walk through fantasy
When her bracelets smell like perfume
And she mouths my name
And leaves a flower in my room.

Our life is a single day
Where we wake in our mother’s arms;
And as the clock keeps time,
We journey through several stages
Until hours after dusk
We close our eyes in the grave.

And throughout my single day,
A girl I love escapes,
And I dream of reincarnation.

Life Is ~ The Stones Under My Feet

Life is the stones under my feet
All the places I've walked
All the places I haven't
They say something about who I am
The pebbles that I pick up to toss in the ocean
The boulders I've sat on
The skipping stones I throw across the lake
Gravel and sand
And cobblestone streets
Places with history
Places where history is about to be written
And what it has to say for my history
All those stones that I've crunched
Under my boots
Or sandals
Or sneakers
Or just my bare feet
Walking carefully
And there occasionally is a piece of glass
When I cut myself I bleed
But I heal in the end
Then I get up to walk on more stones
Because life is where you choose to walk
And where you don't
