But what is the difference between literature and journalism? Journalism is unreadable and literature is not read. That is all.

To Read And Read Again
TO READ AND READ AGAIN
To read and to read again
And to be left empty
By the abundance of words
Whose meanings multiplication
Erases all sense
Of their coherence
And our understanding.
To read and read again
As if in this pretence of learning
Salvation will come
To read and read again
And be forever dumb.

I'm Not Like You
I sit here now,
Writing this poem.
You read it now,
No matter what’s goin.
Sometimes it’s rainy,
Sometimes it’s not.
You read this poem now,
Go do you the homework you forgot.
Life can be simple,
It can also be complicated.
Be when read this now,
Please don’t get frustrated.
Thanks for reading this,
You’re a cool person that much is true.
But to spend the time and read,
I’m probably not much like you.

In science, read by preference the newest works. In literature, read the oldest. The classics are always modern.

I read Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Reader's Digest... I read some responsible journalism, and from that, I form my own opinions. I also happen to be intelligent, and I question everything.

Writing detective stories is about writing light literature, for entertainment. It isn't primarily a question of writing propaganda or classical literature.

In a real sense, people who have read good literature have lived more than people who cannot or will not read. It is not true that we have only one life to live; if we can read, we can live as many more lives and as many kinds of lives as we wish.

Blank Pages
Fierce are blank books triumphing over good,
Then biggest literature is born for the bachelorhood.
Fun are the readers to accompany, to admire
For their effort and will, they are in their attire.
Good people do read and recite for pleasure,
Leaders of literature force the one farther;
It is one of the best of rhythm, of rounder look,
Saying is not doing or writing a book.
Blank pages do run, their fun is deep when justice
Is made from the spelling how we make abruptness.

I think most people read and re-read the things that they have liked. That's certainly true in my case. I re-read Pound a great deal, I re-read Williams, I re-read Thomas, I re-read the people whom I cam to love when I was at what you might call a formative stage.

I've Read A Lot Of Bukowski
wanting to be like him
in his writing style i read a lot about
Bukowski
I sniffed his wine and women
and his writing place
i've read every manuscript
and i begin to like him more than ever
not his style really but his
decision to be just himself
now like him i want to be nobody but myself too.

As society diversifies, the number of people who read literature is decreasing. It will be difficult for readers to digest my ideas through literature.
The depth of reading
To know I read; to learn I read.
To teach I read; to write I read.
To praise or criticize I read.
Atheists have known of religion
Deeper than theists have known.

Even An Old Man Does Not Wish To Read
EVEN AN OLD MAN DOES NOT WISH TO READ
Even an Old Man does not wish to read
An Old Man’s Poetry-
What is the use of bad health litanies
And endless complaints of disappointments?
And wonderings about Waste and Loss
And about Time never to return
And all one has erred in?
An Old Man longs for Beginning again.
An Old man wants what he cannot have
And wishes to be what he cannot be-
And write as if there were new worlds waiting to be found within himself
And great adventures and explorations in writing and writing and writing
An old man longs for freshness deep down things
And dry dry dry is all
Theory
And Grey his life.

A Love To Read
Is it a misconception,
That writers read...
Other writers' works?
Or reads extensively at all?
Afterall...
When would a true writer,
Find time to get that done...
If one has a love to read?
And...
I am not that one to say,
A reading AND a writing done...
Is an impossibility.
Because I read what I write often.
Regularly and on a daily basis.
