His Second Decade

An artisan of surreal noises
Made of groans and chortles
Making words that sat like lead
pounce like a spear of chains
Pulling the vaults to break
And let loose a paunch soul
With a flagrant gaunt face
To become the visage
Of his subtly dubbed art.

While it's easy to toss
White roses on a grave
It is his eloquent etude
To exhume its blossoming.

Welcome to your second decade,
Undoubtedly your golden age,
Now flourish in your parade.

Eyes Without A Face

I'm all out of hope. One more bad break could bring a fall.
When I'm far from home don't call me on the phone to tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive. It's easy to tease. But hard to get release.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

I spend so much time believing all the lies to keep the dream alive.
Now it makes me sad. It makes me mad at truth for lovin' what was you.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Your eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Your eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face.
And now it's getting worse. Yeah.

Venus in the Garden

'Twas at early morning,
The dawn was blushing in her purple bed,
When in a sweet, embowered garden
She, the fairest of the goddesses,
The lovely Venus,
Roamed amongst the roses white and red.
She sought for flowers
To make a garland
For her golden head.

Snow-white roses, blood-red roses,
In that sweet garden close,
Offered incense to the goddess:
Both the white and the crimson rose.

White roses, red roses, blossoming:
But the fair Venus knew
The crimson roses had gained their hue
From the hearts that for love had bled;
And the goddess made a garland
Gathered from the roses red.

Every Time

My eyes may be hollow My face may be pale
I may be just a shadow of my former self
But tonight the ghost of heartaches past Is steppin' into town
Gonna haunt the places where we used to hang around
Draggin' my chains Draggin' my chains
Movin' in slow motion but it's motion just the same
Pulling the weight of yesterday's pain
I may not be free yet, but I'm draggin' my chains
Some chains are made of gold Some chains are made of steel
Just cause you can't see these chains Don't mean they're not real
Until I find the weakest link in your memory
I'll be a prisoner of your love tryin' to break free

Roses In Madrid

Roses, Senors, roses!
Love is subtly hid
In the fragrant roses,
Blown in gay Madrid.
Roses, Senors, roses!
Look, look, look, and see
Love hanging in the roses,
Like a golden bee!
Ha! ha! shake the roses--
Hold a palm below;
Shake him from the roses,
Catch the vagrant so!

High I toss the roses
From my brown palm up;
Like the wine that bubbles
From a golden cup.
Catch the roses, Senors,
Light on finger tips;
He who buys red roses,
Dreams of crimson lips!
Tinkle! my fresh roses,
With the rare dews wet;
Clink! my crisp, red roses,
Like a castanet!

Roses, Senors, roses,
Come, Hidalgo, buy!
Proudly wait my roses
For thy rose's eye
Be thy rose as stately
As a pacing deer;
Worthy are my roses
To burn behind her ear.
Ha I ha! I can see thee,
Where the fountains foam,
Twining my red roses
In her golden comb!

Roses, Donnas, roses,
None so fresh as mine,
Pluck'd at rose of morning
By our Lady's shrine.
Those that first I gather'd
Laid I at her feet,
That is why my roses
Still are fresh and sweet.
Roses, Donnas, roses!
Roses waxen fair!
Acolytes my roses,
Censing ladies' pray'r!

Roses, roses, roses!
Hear the tawny bull
Thund'ring in the circus--
Buy your arms full.
Roses by the dozen!
Roses by the score!
Pelt the victor with them--
Bull or Toreador!

The Holy Rosary (Roses to Mother Mary)

Roses that can never fade;
Roses white and red in shade;
Roses that are heaven-made;
Roses in Mary’s crown laid!

Roses from the hearts that pray;
Roses blossoming night, day;
Roses living all the way;
Roses fit for any Fay!

Roses that will always stay;
Roses brighter than sun’s ray;
Roses everlasting, Aye!
Roses that she can’t say, ’nay’!

The spiritual best weapon,
That brings favors from her son,
That serves to solve problems mundane,
And makes souls fit for life divine!

‘PRAYERS THAT YOU CAN SAY ALL LIFE
TO KEEP AWAY FROM EVERY STRIFE! ’

Chains Of Love (Fetter Dub Dub)

How can I explain
When there are few words I can choose
How can I explain
When words get broken
Do you remember
There was a time ahaha
When people on the street
Were walking hand in hand in hand
They used to talk about the weather
Making plans together
Days would last forever
Come to me, cover me, hold me
Together we'll break these chains of love
Don't give up, don't give up
Together with me and my baby
Break the chains of love
Do you remember
Once upon a time ahaha
When there were open doors
An invitation to the world
We were falling in and out with lovers
Looking out for others
Our sisters and our brothers
Come to me, cover me, hold me
Together we'll break these chains of love
Don't give up, don't give up
Together with me and my baby
Break the chains of love
Together we'll break these chains of love
How can I explain
When there are few words I can choose
How can I explain
When words get broken
We used to talk about the weather
Making plans together
Days would last forever
Come to me, cover me, hold me
Together we'll break these chains of love

Man In Chains

Ive only myself to blame,
Now that Im tangled up in chains,
So you say, ooh, so you say
Caught in this human cage,
Trapped, and Im fired up with rage
And somebodys got to pay
I can never talk about it,
I can never say what I want to say
So Ill take your tip and Ill bite my lip
And hope it goes away
You say Im a man of straw
Well, baby, Im gonna break your law
Then its war, ooh, yes its war
Love on a thin white line,
Love that was just a waste of time,
Oh, not anymore
I can feel it coming at me,
I can feel it coming like the wind
But, Im locked away and Im bound to stay,
So no one can get in
Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
Oh, Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
I only pray that before I die,
Just like a phoenix I will rise and fly
Tell me whos to blame,
Oh, Im a man, now Im a man in chains
There must be a reason why
Youre pulling the wool down on my eyes
Its a lie, its a lie
Dragging this ball and chain,
Oh, how long can I take this pain?
But somebody has to try, yeah
Oh, I can feel the pressure on me,
I can feel it taking me from the start
Sticks and stones will smash my bones,
But never break my heart
Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
Oh, Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
I only pray that before I die,
Just like a phoenix I will rise and fly
Tell me whos to blame,
Oh, Im a man, now Im a man in chains
I can never talk about it,
Oh, I can never say what I want to say
So Ill take your tip and Ill bite my lip
And hope it goes away
Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
Oh, Im a man in chains, Im a man in chains
I only pray that before I die,
Just like a phoenix I will rise and fly
Tell me whos to blame,
Oh, Im a man, now Im a man in chains

When you hear the music you make a dip
Into someone elses pocket then make a slip.
Steal a car and go to las vegas oh, the gigolo pool.
Hanging out by the state line,
Turning holy water into wine
Drinkin it down
Im on a bus on a psychedelic trip
Reading murder books tryin to stay hip.
Im thinkin of you youre out there so
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Now I close my eyes
And I wonder why
I dont despise
Now all I can do
Is love what was once
So alive and new
But its gone from your eyes
Id better realise
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face

Ask 6: Break Routine

A call to arms
To anarchy reborn
Reclaim the streets
Get back on your feet
Freedoms no right to give
It’s only a life we’re living babe,
You’ll find another in your path.

Break routine
Break through the scene
To a canvas of pastel shades
No more black and white babe
We’ll make it ours if we make it at all.

Chase the dreams
You loose upon your way.
Chase the words
If you have something to say
Re-arrange them each and everyday,
Know the meaning, know the truth.

Hear the magick, turn the wheel
tell me is it real.

I’ve said it before
I’ll say it again
Where do we go from here my friend
Take a step back
Come on take two
Looking at me, I’m looking through you
To skies I knew from years before.

Open up the doors of perception
Don’t deceive me just believe I know your face
Not the mask for your parade, don’t loose faith in the charade
The worlds most intricate facade.

Golden Roses

Golden Roses just for you,
anyone can give red roses,
theres plenty around,
for you white roses,
won't do.

Golden Roses just for you,
none other will do,
for someone special
so rare and true.

Golden Roses just for you,
dipped in pure gold,
just as your heart
has dipped your love into mine,
and shall not depart.

Noises

(ian hunter/tommy morrongiello)
Noises are taking away my freedom.
Noises seem to rob me of myself.
Noises are the sound of mediocrity.
Noises ... to take that ... from out of myself.
Noises are taking away my casualness.
Noises are making me scared.
Big noises are made by big shots.
Some noises should never be heard.
Noises,
Noises,
Noises,
Noises,
Give me noises!
Noises are looking over my shoulder.
Noises are the sound of the herd.
Noises make the planet colder.
Noises are noises that should never be heard.
Noises,
Noises,
Noises,
Noises will destroy me.
Noises ...
Why not join some junky jewels, who wreck the clines on canvas fools
Who take the vapours from the mind. neo nothing. shallow kind.
A ritzy nazi owns the game, he plays at God but that was fame
And music masturbates his mind, and stones get rolled up in the slime
A new york butch becomes a blond, while changing gears while from beyond
Agree to consecrate the music makers have gotta take
Owls with trowels as big as spades, dig down among those sequined graves.
Work out their ages, turn the pages, caught in cages, locked in ages
Media momenta, who can prevent her.
Noises, noises, noises, noises
Did you find a certain street, theyre looking for thoughtless thoughts to preach
The street, the street, theyre not your drain, while waiting in the pouring rain
For your old lady out of work, brought the baby, bet your shirt
Waiting for godot did it, then whats happening the other end - rewards
And gallant knights with blunted swords
Locked away in isolation, trying to figure out why they wanna die
And thats the state of the nation.
Noises,
Noises,
Noises,
Noises, oh, oh, oh.
I love noises!

Her and Him

She fell in love at the first sight
of his prismic points and insights
depicting a plethora of fireworks
consecutively sparkling in the sky.

Whilst he trampled in a delicate stupor
to muse upon her eloquent words
woven like a tapestry to mantle
the unfathomable slumbering firmament

Stocks of unedited ends and tales
smokes out of his hidden system.
Soft punctuation in creative rhymes,
fills me with bliss in every line.

Her unabashed tongue gyrated
to recount the tragedy of felled stars
And the rapier of her caustic words
slurred with a vicarious quiescence on mine

Unexhausted discoveries buried deep,
waiting to be excavated - let it be me.
Golden treasures waiting to be found,
slithering yellow beams for underground

A buoy tethered her unmoored soul
drifting in the abysmal enigma of the lost
and derided salutes, gust after gust, I pried
Surreptitiously to the farcical crooning submerged

His enigmatic stories yet to be untold,
full of promising ideas and thoughts.
Imagination and creativity at its best,
hopefully, I'll acquire the talent he posses.

Her lips need not to part, ink to blot
to saddle the sagacity cradled in her eyes
And what does the sibilance of her sighs
Exhumed from her pantheons, I wonder?

He is - truly - a master of his art,
wording emotions fumbling in his heart.
I'll touch his hands and sing his riddles,
through his words, I'll be singing with the angels.

With a flower tossed unto the remorseful grave -
A blossoming glow of hope; an etude uncurled
like the heaven's flourishing parasol
She, and her salient artistry, extended the writhing lace.

The blossoming

I thank you Lord
that you by grace blessed me
to let my slender flowers grow
flooding over in bell like strings
in internodes, joints of roses

not peach, purple or pink
like others of my kind
but in a pure white colouring
with odourless buds opening

and some ridicule, hold my words,
my verses of rhyme and free form in parody
but my flowering is from your hand

and I can understand that they are thinking
of flowers like roses, irises, geraniums
which are tempered against the elements
bringing forth fragrant odours
that perfumes the air
but in your shade and care I am blossoming.

Take These Chains

Baby baby oh baby
Id love to love you
But my hands are tied
Break these chains
Oh oh these chains that are killing me
You dont need money if youve got love
Weve got each other and its more than enough
Break these chains
Oh oh these chains that are holding me
Ooh ooh my love
Its all too much for me to take
Take these chains
Take these chains
She never thought that I could live without her
All the little things she used to do
Then I fell in love with you
You found me
You took me in
When no one wanted me
Making love on a sandy beach
The stars above us and were clean out of reach
Of my chains
Oh oh the chains that were killing me
And you make everything a paradise
And paradise with you is twice as nice
Never change, never change what youre doing to me
Never change
Never change

Break Some Off

I am living without you
You think everything will be fine
I fight making it hard to lie
Realize nothing is left inside
I'm 'bout to break somebody off (going to loose my mind)
I'm 'bout to break somebody off (feel like it is dying)
I'm 'bout to break something off (now it will be mine)
I'm 'bout to break somebody off
My knife is going to hurt you
My face not going to wait this time
I play games just to spite you
I know you're going to believe this time
I'm 'bout to break somebody off (going to loose my mind)
I'm 'bout to break somebody off (feel like it is dying)
I'm 'bout to break something off (now it won't be mine)
I'm 'bout to break somebody off

The Painter on Silk

There was a man
Who made his living
By painting roses
Upon silk.

He sat in an upper chamber
And painted,
And the noises of the street
Meant nothing to him.

When he heard bugles, and fifes, and drums,
He thought of red, and yellow, and white roses
Bursting in the sunshine,
And smiled as he worked.

He thought only of roses,
And silk.
When he could get no more silk
He stopped painting
And only thought
Of roses.

The day the conquerors
Entered the city,
The old man
Lay dying.
He heard the bugles and drums,
And wished he could paint the roses
Bursting into sound.

Boy Boy (I'm The Boy)

Words that pull the trigger
Fear the laughing sound
Haunts you
to consider
Love might turn you around
To face a blind emotion
Words like hey let's try
Words like thinking it over
They just don't apply
I'm the boy (you made me)
I'm the boy
I'm the boy
I'm the boy (you made me)
I'm the boy
I'm the boy
Love is...
What you make it
Love the overflow
Play if you can take it some...
They just don't know
If all the rules they're making
Break somebodys heart
Whats the use in taking
Babys fall apart
I'm the boy (you made me)
I'm the boy
I'm the boy
I'm the boy (you made me)
I'm the boy
I'm the boy
You made me realise
That love is just a word
That goes unheard in a situation
Where love is nothing
And you...
Are all I can see
this boys in love with you
You're everything
I can see
This boy's in love with you
You have taken it all
Away from me

In the twilight of beauty thy bathe

In the twilight of beauty thy bathe
Thy slender soul gaunt and grave
With solemn peace thy soul lay
Alive and well between night and day
So gracious thy art to me divine
Everything beautiful and never mine
Subtly pervasive thy cool my fear
As thou art the license in my sultry leer
Dressed in gray, delicate as a dead flower
Thou art the love of my ethereal hour
The love of me my love's name
Gilded by desire and polished in shame
Deceptive and strange thy take my breath
For my love, my love, I love thee to my death

Roses, Roses

Roses, Roses blooming bright!
In earth’s gardens; ‘What a sight! ’
Studding plants in dawn’s dew, light;
And perfuming day and night!

Queen of flowers, roses stay;
Budding, blossoming en way;
Hues pretty, very well laid;
Decorating bride and maid.

Oh, what mind had shaped thee thus!
And what hearts enjoy thy bliss;
Thorns amongst green leaves just say,
‘Beauty needs protection, Aye! ’

Roses, Roses petaled fine;
Standing glorious in sunshine;
Beauty unmatched on earth, thine;
Making garlands more divine!

Roses add to Mary’s crown,
Reciting Rosaries when;
Blessings and grace then come down,
Making souls fit for heaven!
