Wind swept the past
Brother,
Please do not ask
From where he comes
And let open the doors.
Do not ask where he goes
And let clear the roads.
He comes and he goes
Nobody knows
Unless the strange Master
Who holds
The book of itinerary.
He let loose the leaves
And wind swept the past.
The unseen mighty wind collects
Each and every whisper of the human souls.

Today's Gone

Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind,
I don't know where its gone...
But today's gone!
I don't know where i m going,
For all i know to be left alone,
Today's Gone,
Its Gone with the wind...
I took a walk on lonely road,
To where the heart wants,
Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind...
Heart sings the tune,
It feels like June,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
Rock on, they 're all gone,
The Hendrix, Cobain and Page,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
'Imagine there's no countries' said John,
Wish the terrorism from the world is withdrawn,
Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind..
'Nothing Else Matters'; Says Met,
Strum the Guitar and play the frets,
For Today's gone,
It's gone with the wind...
I got something to say,
It was wonderful day today,
Today's gone,
Its gone with the wind...

The Song of Arda: (From “Annatanam”.)
LOW as a lute, my love, beneath the call
Of storm, I hear a melancholy wind;
The memorably mournful wind of yore
Which is the very brother of the one
That wanders, like a hermit, by the mound
Of Death, in lone Annatanam. A song
Was shaped for this, what time we heard outside
The gentle falling of the faded leaf
In quiet noons: a song whose theme doth turn
On gaps of Ruin and the gay-green clifts
Beneath the summits haunted by the moon.
Yea, much it travels to the dens of dole;
And in the midst of this strange rhyme, my lords,
Our Desolation like a phantom sits
With wasted cheeks and eyes that cannot weep
And fastened lips crampt up in marvellous pain.
A song in whose voice is the voice of the foam
And the rhyme of the wintering wave,
And the tongue of the things that eternally roam
In forest, in fell or in cave;
But mostly ’tis like to the Wind without home
In the glen of a desolate grave—
Of a deep and desolate grave.
The torrent flies over the thunder-struck clift
With many and many a call;
The leaves are swept down, and a dolorous drift
Is hurried away with the fall.
But mostly ’tis like the Wind without home
In the glen of a desolate grave—
Of a deep and desolate grave.
Whoever goes thither by night or by day
Must mutter, O Father, to Thee,
For the shadows that startle, the sounds that waylay
Are heavy to hear and to see;
And a step and a moan and a whisper for aye
Have made it a sorrow to be—
A sorrow of sorrows to be.
Oh! cover your faces and shudder, and turn
And hide in the dark of your hair,
Nor look to the Glen in the Mountains, to learn
Of the mystery mouldering there;
But rather sit low in the ashes and urn
Dead hopes in your mighty despair—
In the depths of your mighty despair.

Monition
A faint wind, blowing from World's End,
Made strange the city street.
A strange sound mingled in the fall
Of the familiar feet.
Something unseen whirled with the leaves
To tap on door and sill.
Something unknown went whispering by
Even when the wind was still.
And men looked up with startled eyes
And hurried on their way,
As if they had been called, and told
How brief their day.

Wind Me Up, Let Me Go
Im just a little tin soldier in your hands
Im good for nothing but to obey your commands
Youve never really loved me I know
So wind me up let me go
Im just a play thing till you see someone else
And then you leave me alone on the shelf
But even tin soldiers have hearts dont you know
So wind me up let me go
You dont really need me youve a hundred other toys
And tear drops dont look good in the eyes of soldier boys
So pick me up and hold me one more time
Thats just consolation for this heart of mine
Whisper a sweet word to the one who loves you
So then wind me up let me go
Then wind me up let me go

Outsider
(ian hunter)
Death be my mistress, guns be my wife
Breath is my witness and roads are my life
Just give my future's clean as a knife
Far on the way from l.a.
The sun heats the saddle, sand in my hair
Looking for water and there's sweat everywhere
Know that i'm nearer i smell damp air
I ain't tasted coffee for days
When the leaves are down i'll be southward bound
Hunters hunt the outsider.
When the wind grows cold, when the sun grows old,
Nothing holds the outsider
Just killed a man in a town called nightfall
Damned if i can't remember it all
My hand it was shaking but his talk it was tall
I paid for the funeral crew
And it seems like i never reach mexico
They're heading me off every place that i go
I'm sick of the fact that i've got to lay low
What else can an outsider do
I know they're near to me, i don't have to see
Just let me be the outsider
They ain't far behind, they're always on my mind
They won't find the outsider
The outsider
When the leaves are down i'll be southward bound
Hunter's haunt the outsider.
When the wind grows cold, when the sun grows old,
Nothing holds the outsider
The outsider. the outsider.

Dark and light.
Am i here
or am i there.
A wind swept beach
or the open air.
Dark and cold
snow and ice.
The repper calls
death the price.
Am i here
or there again.
A wind swept beach
or an open plane..

Riverside
I never made it
I just put it off a while
Just sleepin' at the bottom of a tree with my shoes off
I never faked it
I just do it awful well
Just dreamin' of a time when I can take another day off
Because ooh, well it's got me down
By the riverside
Got me down today
Well it's got me down
By the riverside
Got me down today
I never craved it
I never do it all
I just wake up in the morning by the tree and shake the dew off
I never saved it
I just hung it out a while
I'm not leavin' with the bottom of my feet up in a U-Haul
You know you look so pitiful
Easily critical
You shouldn't be so cynical
All from the pit of your heart
Well it's cruel the way you pass me by
Well it's hard, and it's hard
Well you've got me down
By the riverside
Got me down today
Well it's got me down
By the riverside
Got me down today
By the riverside...

Progress On Peace?
Little Palestinian girl,
holding her brother's hand, sobbing.
'Please, Mr Soldier, he didn't throw
the stone. 'Please, Mr Soldier,
don't arrest my brother.'
Little Palestinian girl,
six or seven or eight. Who knows?
But Jesus Christ Almighty she's
just a little girl pleading, as she holds
her brother's hand.
Little Palestinian girl,
I feel your pain, and rage against your fear.
I want to hold you close and say,
'It's alright, your brother will return.'
I'd lie to you, if I must, just to see you smile.

The Breath of ages...
The wind is constant yet ever changing,
Although power and direction may alter.
It shadows us throughout our journey,
The breath of ages is our cosmic guide...
All the souls we touch are part of the wind,
Some merge and flow in a harmonic dance.
Some clash, resist and refuse to enroll,
The breath of ages is our teacher...
The beauty of nature is born of the wind,
The mighty oak stretches limbs toward the sun.
Rustling leaves dance playfully upon the breeze,
The breath of ages is our artist...
The harmony of life floats upon the wind,
Those who listen shall hear the melody of existance.
The wind although unseen shall not be denied,
The breath of ages is our only truth...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...
We are but one star shining amongst untold millions...
Yet we are all blessed with the potential to streak across the heavens and dance upon starlight...
How bright your star shines is entirely up to you...

The Voice
I do not wish anyone to be near my sadness—
Not even your dear step and your loved face,
Nor your indolent hand which caresses with a finger
The lazy ribbon and the closed book.
Leave me. Let my door today remain closed;
Do not open my window to the fresh wind of morning;
My heart today is miserable and sullen
And everything seems to me somber and everything seems vain.
My sadness comes from something further than myself;
It is strange to me and is not of me;
And every man, whether he sings or he laughs or he loves,
In his time hears that which speaks low to him,
And something then stirs and awakens,
Is perturbed, spreads and laments in him,
Because of this dull voice which says in his ear
That the flower of life in its fruit is ashes.

The Rustle
How fascinating the songs of the wind
Carrying up high the bird on spread wings
listen to the birds chirp,
and listen to the howls that are carried in the wind.
How enchanting to play with the wind
Subdued when watching the wind
the wind grabs the whisper and
carries around the world
only the wind decides where
it will take away the whisper...
The smell of blossoms blows with the wind
I search through the billion
In the field of gold and green
I smell them in my handz,
bt couldnt severalize...
their fragrance is under par.
that amply mesmerized..
A breeze brings along the fragrance of apricot flowers.
I couldnt feel the inner reality
that blows with the wind connotes diversity.
It scrawled the human mystery.
I search to find the birth of the wind
went up finding leaves rustle and bustle like a wing.
One thing in all things have I seen
In the hidden recess of the breaking sound.
I saw the flying vision there
in the deepest silence of sacred wind.
At last, at last, the meaning caught.
It shakes its wondrous plumes of thought
burning away all illusion.
unexpected, we are One and the same..

Moon Glow
The darkest night, flows with a
wind hush through open blackness.
Ya'ever see the moon glow?
Ya' ever hear the wind whisper?
Rivulets spill with water
across the mountain plains;
as liquid rolls down along the steep slope-
ya'ever see the moon glow?
Ya' ever hear the wind whisper?
Stars glitter through sparkles
of the darkest night.
Wind cold breeze swifts;
swiftly into space.
Laughter engulfs the moon light.
Ya' ever see the moon glow?
Ya' ever hear the wind whisper?
Moon light angles corners,
as sweet melodies swell into air,
of silence.
You ever sight the bird dance,
as shadow flicker
upon the moon?
Ya' ever see the moon glow?
Ya' ever hear the wind whisper?

The Way You Want Things To Be
you want the sea to have waves
and you say that they are more true that way
or the leaves to have the wind beside it
or the skies to have clouds
how i wish however to have crystal clear seas
leaves so still as though they only have the sun as companion
clear skies
undisturbed blue
do you think that there is something wrong with all these?
i know you will leave me with a blunt answer
but let me tell you
crystals are virtues of the sea before it was disturbed
clear skies have always been peaceful
and leaves have always wanted the solitude without the wind

Howlin' Mad Wind
The game's over.
The wind madly howled,
I cursed and growled,
And buried my sweaty head in a towel.
The wind had a distracting noise like a snare drum
Hit by fast hand. Its bitterness made me numb.
Manager said 'Wind killed us against the scum.'
We'd spit, and it would shoot like missiles mid-air,
Fly around everywhere.
Spit into the wind? You shouldn't dare.
We'd kick a ball straight, and it would curl and spin.
From when the match did begin,
We were beaten, by the howlin' mad wind.
From The Ashes
My right hand holds matches,
My left holds my past,
I hope the wind catches,
And burns it down fast,
Im gonna step into the fire,
With my failures and my shame,
And wave good-bye to yesterday,
As I danced among the flames,
So dont try to save me now,
Let the walls of my world all burn down,
Just stand back and wait till the smoke finally passes,
And I will rise,
From the ashes,
From the ashes,
From the ashes,
For all that Im loosing, much more will I gain,
The hard part is choosing,
To change what needs changed,
And my stance will be much lighter,
With these demonds off my chest,
Im born with better spirit,
To lay the old to rest
So dont try to save me now,
Let the walls of my world all burn down,
Just stand back and wait till the smoke finally passes,
And I will rise
From the ashes,
From the ashes,
From the ashes,
And Ill walk away stonger,
I will be fyin,
Higher and truer
Then Ive flown before,
My right hand holds matches,
My left holds my past,
I hope the catches,
And burns it down
Fast.

Part Of America Died
Part Of America Died
Somebody killed a soldier today
And part of America died
The child who shot him won't even be punished
After counsel asks his record not be tarnished
The flag of our country he swore to protect
Will be buried, with him, at his side
Today more of America died
The truck that he rode, was a battlefield too
A respite from a hard day at war
The flag of our nation won't fly at half staff
The purple heart they gave on his behalf
Won't change that a part of America died
Yes, Somebody killed a brave soldier today
It happened this day in a land, far away
While some slept in comfort, at home
A soldier put his life on the line
He answered the call then gave it his all
And on this day much of America died

Reincarnation
Somewhere
I think of you
Somewhere
I remember you
You are with me like the wind
From a faraway land and I know it is you
The way you kiss me still makes me quiver
Wind-lips touching my cheeks my neck
Wind hands caressing my arms my hands my chest
Wind-body hushing pressing against my body today
There is a sense of longing about two
Past bodies,
Two past warm bodies pressing to
Past warmth and past time somewhere
Only that it is too hard to remember the details
Of that past love, past the season, only that it is hard
To remember why that love died untimely
Now we are here, I am in this present body of a writer
For some reason you read me in your present body of a reader
You are telling me that something in my poem catches
The eye of your soul and you begin to remember
This is him, this is him, he was there with me before
Your way of telling me without seeing me is a feeling too
We were there before we were together we just can’t remember the details.
Today you are the thought that touches me like the wind-mind
So gently, a thought comes to my brain, a feminine thought claiming
A right that was there before, and which today vehemently denies.
The present seals it with birth.
Locked.
Another death is needed to open it.

National Front Disco (live)
David, the wind blows,
The wind blows
Bits of your life away.
Your friends all say,
"Where is our boy?
Ah, we've lost our boy".
But they should know,
Where you've gone,
Because again and again you've explained
That you're going to . . .
Oh, oh, oh, going to . . .
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
"England for the English",
"England for the English".
David, the wind's blown,
The wind's blown
All of my dreams away.
And I still say,
"Where is our boy?
Ah, we've lost our boy".
But I should know
Why you've gone,
Because again and again you've explained
You're going to the National . . .
Ah, to the National . . .
There's a country,
You don't live there,
But one day you would like to.
And if you show them what you're made of,
Ah, then you might do.
But David, we wonder,
We wonder if the thunder
Is ever really gonna begin,
Begin, begin
Your mum says,
"I've lost my boy".
But she should know
Why you've gone,
Because again and again you've explained
You're going to the National,
To the National,
To the National Front disco,
Because you want the day to come sooner,
You want the day to come sooner,
You want the day to come sooner,
When you've settled the score.
Oh, the National,
Oh, the National,
Oh, the National,
Oh, the National,
Oh, the National

Sonnet: The Wind
What shakes the trees so violently? ’Tis Wind;
What moves the clouds hither/ thither? ’Tis Wind;
What takes the tornado around? ’Tis Wind;
What brings the sandstorm on the earth? ’Tis Wind.
What makes the cool and gentle breeze? ’Tis Wind
What makes the boughs and leaves to dance? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the autumn leaves to fall? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the honey-bees to fly? ’Tis Wind.
What makes pollen reach in showers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the dust to climb towers? ’Tis Wind;
What spreads the perfume of flowers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the rain-clouds advance far? ’Tis Wind.
What makes the Wind to blow? ’Tis God;
What makes a Tempest stop? ’ Tis our Lord.
