There it goes the express yellow School bus

Like a bird it flies with soft souls
And the matured feels like a wrong detainee holds the book; Fannie Flagg's 'Fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe'
Stands at a lonely bus stop.
His torn season ticket seems to be not valid to get a comfortable seat
And he left behind like a desperate hornet
Who seeks fragrant flowers in an off-season.

*Let heavy rains fall into the Australian bush fire to survive of this catastrophe!

Strangely enough, the first character in Fried Green Tomatoes was the cafe, and the town. I think a place can be as much a character in a novel as the people.

Change Of Season

Oh, I need a change of season
Oh, I want a little springtime in the fall
Oh, I could use a change of season
Cant stop thinkin about it baby
And Im sick about it yeah
Oh, Ive been trying to fight this feeling
I know just one little brick
Can break the wall
Oh I might find a change of season
Will bring a freeze in the summer, baby
Seasons change, people change
But you cant hold back the clock
Cause time wont stop for you and me
And the world keeps spinning round
Feels like time for a change of season
Its a crime that I should feel this way at all
I cant even find a reason
What do you think about it baby
What you think about it, yeah
Seasons change, people change
You cant turn back the clock
No, time wont stop for you and me
The world keeps spinning round

The Growing Season

The seasons work together
To make the world possible

Summer, the sun season
Fall, the leaf season
Winter, the snow season
And spring, the time of beauty

Summer, the yellow season
Fall, the orange season
Winter, the white season
And spring, the time of the rainbow

Summer, the blank season
Fall, the shadow season
Winter, the dying season
And spring, the growing season
The growing season

Rain

Thoughts of rain at sunset
Clouds of rainbow blue
Thoughts of sun on sand-dunes
Where the seabirds flew
This was our season, and we said it couldnt end
But my love left with the rain.
Thoughts of leaves in autumn
Falling from the trees
Thoughts of hoaring tree tops
Leading to the sea
This was our season, no lies and no pretend
But my love left with the rain.
Thoughts of springtime rainfall
Touching flowers that bend
Thoughts of wind in willows
Days that never end
This was our season, but sorrow waited round the bend
For my love left with the rain.
Rains the way you move now
Sun the way you seem
Leaves the way you wonder
Flowers the way you dream
This was our season, and we said it couldnt end
But my love left with the rain

Out Of Season

I found out just a little too late.
I had my doubt, but I decided to wait.
Even though I could feel somethin comin
It came as such a surprise.
I should have known when you first started
Runnin away before my eyes.
Im so out of season
You left me cold and Im standin here freezin.
Im so out of season now.
I lost out.
I wasnt playing to win.
And I think about
How I just took it all in.
Just when I thought
I couldnt get any higher
You cut me down to size.
I should have noticed
When you put out the fire.
Instead, I just closed my eyes.
Im so out of season.
You left me cold and Im standin here freezin.
Im so out of season now.
Im so out of season
You let me go and you gave me no reason.
Im so out of season now.

End Of The Season

Winter time is coming
All the sky is grey
Summer birds arent singing
Since you went away
Since youve been gone, end of the season
Winter is here, close of play
I get no kicks walking down saville row
Theres no more chicks left where the green grass grows and I know that
Winter is here, end of the season
My reasons gone, close of play
I just cant mix in all the clubs I know
Now labours in, I have no place to go
Youre on a yacht near an island in greece
Though you are hot, forget me not
I will keep waiting until your return
Now you are gone, end of the season
Winter will come any day
Back in the scrub on a wet afternoon
Down in the mud, dreaming of flowers in june
End of the season
End of the season

Shoot The Moon

The summer days are gone too soon
You shoot the moon
And miss completely
And now you're left to face the gloom
The empty room that once smelled sweetly
Of all the flowers you plucked if only
You knew the reason
Why you had to each be lonely
Was it just the season?

Now the fall is here again
You can't begin to give in
It's all over

When the snows come rolling through
You're rolling too with some new lover
Will you think of times you've told me
That you knew the reason
Why we had to each be lonely
It was just the season

Tis the Season

Tis a wonderful day to give
Sorrow flees
Spring showers the land
Everywhere your love gives
I can grow
I can heal

Tis the season to smile

Beauty wakes the flowers
The world cannot stop the light
Stars solve questions
Venus burns by the moon
Green grass under my clay
Gratitude flows like a river

Tis the season of praise

Payroll and the obedient servant's redress

His name was not in the paymaster's list and the whole wage has deducted for his food & lodging.
Where he goes to compensate?
He sleeps under the huge thorny money tree
But the bitter fruits are not ripen yet.
Though he waits for the coming season
Yet he has to re-validate his torn season-ticket.

I Can't Stop Loving You

Writers: billy nicholls
So you're leaving
In the morning
On the early train
I could say everything's alright
I could pretend and say good bye
Got your ticket
Got your suitcase
Got your leaving smile
I could say that's the way it goes
I could pretend and you won't know
That i was lying
'cause i can't stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
No, i can't stop loving you
Though i try
Took a taxi
To the station
Not a word was said
I saw you walk across the road
Maybe the last time, i don't know
Feeling humble
I heard a rumble
On the railway track
And when i hear the whistle blow
I walk away and you don't know
That i was lying
'cause i can't stop loving you
No, i can't stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
Though i try
'cause i can't stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
No, i can't stop loving you
Though i try

All For One

You think Im crazy for wanting you
But you just hide away
Behind your untold truths
And so I sit and
Listen to your lonely words
Another reason for you
To be yourself
I cant be wrong for believing in you
cause this ice is melting
And the waves are breaking through
I see a fire, its burning
In your heart tonight
Theres only one way
For me to forget
All for one, one for all
Strong in heart, body and soul
We were all for one, one for all
All for one, one for all
Nothing could stop us, we had it all
We were all for one, one for all
I always knew
You had dreams of your own
But I cant understand you
So many words, too much to say
And nothing to hold on to
And so another day must end
In this loneliness
Another season
Another time, I guess
All for one, we were all for one
All for one, strong in body and soul
All for one, and
Nothings gonna stop us
All for one, one for all ...

Dont Cha Stop

Right here Id like to melt inside of you
Right here you kiss is totally new
Right here your hands are soft and creamy
Right here your mouth is wet and dreamy
And its just what I like
So dim down the light
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
If it makes you feel good
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
Your rhapsody is blowing my cool-ool
Your fantasies there written for fools
Your long black hair tickles my skin skin
It feels so luscious come on do it again, oh yeah
And its just what I like
Dim down the light
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
If it makes you feel good
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
If it makes you feel good
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
If it makes you feel good, good,
Good, good, good
Dont cha stop dont cha stop
A dont cha stop if it makes you feel
Good, good, good
Oo dont cha stop dont cha stop
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)
Dont you stop dont cha stop
If it makes you feel
Good, good, good
Good, good, good
Good, good, good
Dont cha stop
(dont cha stop dont cha stop)

Sense Of Spring

Spring is the loveliest season of them all,
A source of life and love and gentle things,
Reward for winter's frost and icy pall.
A time when fledglings spread their tiny wings.
Spring is the gentlest season of them all,
When lambs their frail appendages must try,
The sheep stay close, concerned lest they should fall,
And gently nuzzle them to help them try.
Spring is the brightest season of them all,
Spring flowers yellow, mauve and red and blue,
And grasses growing silky, slender, tall;
And trees whose leaves are green of every hue.
Spring is the shortest season of them all,
Dissolving into summer's eager call.

Autumn

You called up late
Said you wanted to talk
I was afraid
Cause you spoke so softly

You took my hand
Slowly started to cry
I can't understand
Why our season went by

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

You turned away
Slowly opened the door
Said you could not stay
You couldn't take it no more

It started to rain
Tears kept falling from the sky
It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

Now I fall on the ground

It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough
Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

Now I fall on the ground
Now I fall on the ground

It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

No Control

trying to control who you love
is like trying to control the weather;

The winter season starts...
&it begins to snow.
you like the snow, at first,
you like the snow alot.
you even begin to love it!
&you love it for a long time,
but then you get sick...
&the snow keeps falling.
you know that it's bad for you,
but you just cant ignore it!
you want it to stop snowing,
oh, so badly!
but the snow wont stop.
&its not going to stop.
not until the season's over...

Bird Flew By

Bird flew by
And wondered, wondered why
She was white
And ought to stay up in the sky
From the air she could wonder
For the reason
Whats the point of a year
Or a season
Your life flies away
As the night turns to day
If you start once to think
Your hair will soon turn grey
But one would like to wonder
For the reason
Whats the point of a year
Or a season
The list of fallen stars
And crumbled, broken hearts
Comes from a need
To play so many parts
But one would like to wonder
For the reason
Whats the point of a year
Or a season
The wind and the rain
Shook hands again
Untouched by the world
They managed to keep sane
They were able to wonder
For the reason
Whats the point of a year
Or a season
Bird flew by
And wondered, wondered why
She was white
And ought to stay up in the sky
From the air she could wonder
For the reason
Whats the point of a year
Or a season

Sighting

I ask for a chance to sight a bird,
May winter run away afterward.

This season is just some of the year,
What may pass can disappear.

My season transmits its pride to the park,
And the nation changes a season, very dark.

Let evil be somebody very dark and grey,
Not the present season, not winter anyway.

It's Flu Season

What nonsense is this?
Flu now has an anticipated season?
And people are predicted to get sick?

Like the selling of costumes for Halloween,
Flu season signs everywhere can be seen.
'Stop and get your shots.
And while you are at it pick up your tricks and treats.
It's Flu season and your kids are in school.
Don't be foolish...
Get a shot for you.'

I remember when it was rare to even get sick.
And when someone got a cold,
In two weeks they were over it.

Today someone can get ill and have chills for a month.
And people who fear this,
Can now be seen in long lines to be screened,
With a getting of a dose...
To chase away flu symptoms as if they were ghosts.
How appropriate to sell with costumes as well.

I remember when it was rare to even get sick.
And when someone got a cold,
In two weeks they were over it.

'Stop and get your shots.
And while you are at it pick up your tricks and treats.
It's flu season and your kids are in school.
Don't be foolish...
Get a shot for you.
No appointment necessary.
Stop, shop and get your shots! '

What nonsense is this?
Flu now has an anticipated season?
And people are predicted to get sick?

You Better Stop

Well i want you to understand me
I don't want you to be confused
I see through that line you're tryin' to hand me
And i don't like being used
So i think you better stop
And see what you're tryin' to do
Yes i think you better stop
Before it comes back on you
Well you're gifted in your conversation
And you've got a ?? that's mighty strong
And i had you in consideration
But you didn't fool me for long
So i think you better stop
And see what you're tryin' to do
Yes i think you better stop
Before it comes back on you
Well who am i to tell you what to do?
I love you just enough to tell you true - you better stop
But if you're content with a one night stand
Then go on, play the field
But just make sure that that's the way you really feel
You better stop - stop - stop
Yes i think you better stop
You don't really have to change your lifestyle
Just stretch it and let it go
And maybe baby, in the meanwhile
We will fall in love, and you will know
That you had better stop
And see what you're tryin' to do
Yeah i think you better stop
Before it comes back on you
You had better stop
Before it comes back on you
You better stop - stop - stop
Yes i think you better stop
You better stop
You better stop
You better stop

There will come

There will come upon the earth, calm spring time
When soft rains fall and raise the adores of wet ground
And flowers leap and bloom into their prime
As the swallows circle and bounce in vast meadows, shimmering sound

And no one will know of my time under the sun
And no one will reflect or contemplate of my days, not one
Not even one would mind, neither happy bird on a bough tree
That I have perished; erased diminished with no memory utterly

Come red black Robins and wear your feathery fire,
Whistling your whims on a low summer wind stirring fence-wire
And fat oily frogs in a garden pool, sing your rhythm all night
And tree heavy with late season foliage play the wind that turn you white

The world will go on as we do when an acquaintance dies
We hurry to burry and move as if it never concerns our fates; blinding our eyes
Oh that first Spring after death, herself when she wakes at dawn
Minding her course would scarcely notice that we were gone.
