The Elm tree and Termites

This highly destructive insects which are not true ants
But the innocent tree doesn't know about their cruelty
And she provided them shelter in a rain.
The colony consists of Queen & King, wingless sterile workers and soldiers.
The ungrateful visitors started their job secretly
Until the tree collapsed to the ground pathetically.

The Ant Empire

on the side of
an old mango tree
the ants built their empire
of
soft sand and
porous soil where they
hid their Queen
where the soldiers
heavily guard
where every worker
brings the food

one night
a heavy rain falls
and flood comes
and the empire
in an instant
is gone

the Queen is nowhere to be found
the soft sands level like a desert
the porous soil nothing but mud
the soldiers all dead.

A Wingless Angel Draped In Red

She seeks her shelter from the falling sky
She asks her shelter from the highest tree
She seeks an answer to the question why
Why it is that she has come to be

A wingless angel draped in red
Her wings are lost she sighs
There’s no halo now upon her head
And the fear that she may die

Alone, alone so far from home
A wingless angel cries
She awaits the demon by her side
To kiss between her thighs

Thunder roars beyond her head
This wingless angel draped in red
She lies beside her demons
On a bed of human bone.

Alone, alone, in tears she falls
Upon her virgin knees
All is lost as thunder roars
There’s no one to hear her pleas

She runs to seek her shelter from the falling sky
She asks her shelter from the highest tree
She seeks an answer to the question why
Why it is she lost her wings and the heart
Of a soul that sings, bringing joy throughout the day.

from A Fallen Tree All Make Kindling' (dutch Proverb)

Whenever I sit under a tree I’m in my grandpas arms

My grandpa was like a tree with his strong and silent charm

He would shelter the world under his shade

And in the harshest storm he just merely swayed

He was like a tree but not the ones with big flowers

For his beauty was endurance it lasted more than mere hours

My grandpa was a tree the kind with big leaves

The kind that when cut down the whole forest grieves

He was like a tree big and gentle

He sat there and listened kind and parental

And though he was the tallest tree all around

He never looked down on the ones on the ground

My grandpa was a tree his love ran deep like roots

So even when cut down we still have loves fruits

Autumn

You called up late
Said you wanted to talk
I was afraid
Cause you spoke so softly

You took my hand
Slowly started to cry
I can't understand
Why our season went by

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

You turned away
Slowly opened the door
Said you could not stay
You couldn't take it no more

It started to rain
Tears kept falling from the sky
It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

Now I fall on the ground

It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough
Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

Now I fall on the ground
Now I fall on the ground

It did not stop the pain
It did not stop the pain

Why do leaves fall down from the sky
Is the tree not strong enough

They're To Succeed

Passing by they stopped and parked
Such lovely blossom seems so sweet.
Gladly indeed they thought it's a treat
They rushed in! Out came a swarm of bees
The bees cried chop, cho. They're a happy fleet
They watched them keep busy around the tree.

In this world of ours, it there wild world.
Funny these people never stopped to ask
They've to achieved between those tree.
God provided and restored life indeed
All on there own enjoying the breeze around the tree.

Know hand out stretched in the tree
They roam through the field to succeed
Move from three to tree to fulfill their needs
Stopped in all most every tree they meet
They have to survive on the ground to the tree.

Nicely kiss too kiss

The tree's body's

And leave's enjoy...!

With rain drops kissess...

Enjoy the tree's too love

Oh unchanging tree

Such a beautiful thing Is a tree.
In summer, in winter, in spring, in fall
the beauty of a tree, doesn't change at all

The leaves fall to the ground
all the richest beautiful color
can be found

The snow falls
but it doesn't hurt the tree,
it just lays on it's branches
like frosting on a cake

Then it gets warm, the snow melts.
Say goodbye to to winter, say hello to sping.
New life is such a beautiful thing

But so is the tree, the beautiful mighty tree.
That stands alone as the seasons pass
as when you were old or just a lass.

A tree must have a heart, because when it falls to the ground.
No Joy can be found..

So when you see a tree say hello, they can get lonely you know.
Tell them a story, tell them a poem, they will listen.
This I know

On Tree

Just a plain old TREE. I Ignored the weather
satisfied with me. I Looked at TREE.

What if anything do I knoe about TREE.
It used to be a thing made out of wood, always tall,

with branches near the ground. Roots fingering the ground.
Life comes up somehow to TREE. Water cascades down to ground, seeping slowly into ROOT. ROOT transmogrifies

the water into inner sanctum stuff known only to the Lord.
People still tell me, Tree just cannot live.

There is no real feeling in TREE.
There is knowledge in TREE or it would be a blade of grass.

People say the life is in the seed or sapiling.
I think the knowledge is in the MAN, the ONE who can.

He Makes all the TREE begin, upon a distant planet,
Creates the thing again, in the courtyard of his KING.

And every meadow of his earth.
The ONE who gave me birthe the second time around.

The ONE who gave me TREE.
And Time to write this down.

Haunting

Sit down on that stool hear the cant of a fool
And a strange tale Ill impart to ye
Of a time that I lived at the buff of a hill
neath the burial chambers you see
One saturday night I got up on my bike
To go to a dance in the town
I set off at seven to be there at eleven
No thought of the rain coming down
As I pushed up the hill the rain started to spill
So for shelter I had to resort
Helter skelter I went as downhill I sped
To the trees at the old fairy fort
I pulled up my bike be a tree in the gripe
To find shelter out of the storm
The rain it came down and like stones beat the ground
But it was grand to be dry in that storm
I was dreaming away about better days
When a voice it says dirty ould night
I fell over me bike I got such a fright
When the ghostly voice bid me the night
I jumped up with a start gave the storm not a thought
As the hail beat a rhythm on me
And I stared at the tree that had spoken to me
Not a body was there I could see
The voice I had heard not another word said
As the hair on the head stood on me
And I said an our father as I peddled much faster
Away from that ghost haunted tree
For weeks and weeks after with nerves a disaster
Nowhere near that road would I go
And from dusk through the night I would shake with the fright
Of the tree that had haunted me so
Now whenever I go to a dance in the town
I make sure not to stop on the way
To be there for eleven I still leave at seven
But I go by a different way

Sonnet – Don’t Be

Don't be the fallen leaves, so young and green;
Don't be the buds that never can flower;
Don't be the twigs that always remain lean;
Don't be the flow'rs that dropp with each shower.

Don't be the branches growing very long;
Don't be the tree that never blooms at all;
Don’t be the nests that disallow Bird-song;
Don't be the fruits that hit the Earth by Fall.

Don't be the trunk hollowed by Birds, white-Ants;
Don't be the crown that can't get Sun or Rain;
Don't be the tree that grows not straight but slants;
Don't be the roots that prop the tree in vain.

Don't be the tree that grows on marshy-land;
Just be a tree secure in Maker's Hand.

Sonnet: All Things Have a Purpose

A wild tree grows for ants to be its guests!
Old water-tank helps frogs spawn, croak each year;
A neem tree grows for birds to build their nests;
The refuse-dumps rear insects sounding ear.

The cut tree-trunks help white ants eat and breed;
The papayas help birds to beak with joy;
On wild berries, squirrels happily feed;
The tall palm-trees house pea-fowls to enjoy.

The wilder trees add greenness to the earth;
The wild flowers give nectar to wild bees;
The parrot-noise though disturbing, gives mirth;
His duty to His creatures all, God sees.

Don’t blame something if you can’t understand;
God knows the uses of the desert-sand!

The Fairy Tree

Up on this tree I have my heart beating,
The birds are around fully singing;
A stolen object expressed its presence
From out of the leaves and branches with brilliance.

The object forgave my life, its crime was with me,
And I sorted it out my life, with glee.
The possession was in the air and on the ground,
My soldiers are on this tree, the sound.

Let soldiers be monkeys and against all hope
Of leaving us alone. The sounds were birds that I grope
In this beautiful tree, this still fountain
Of loss and gain, like a mountain.

I let go of this death, I let go forever,
Much was secretive on this Easter.
I saw the chocolate egg on this chocolate tree
In the land of fairies, the land for me.

Kamakura's treasured tree

Yesterday
one tree collapsed
eight hundred years old
and thirty meters high
it's true, he was!
May you rest in peace
beautiful Kamakura tree
He did give joy
to countless
insects, birds,
and people.
My heart does cry
in pain, is trying hard
to stop.
I'm holding back
my fears
for younger trees
which have no chance
to kiss the light
for even one
more year!
Oh dear dear dear..

must say..I do cry also for my city's trees, which were cut down to make more place for cars..
everytime they work on streets they have no mercy, cutting off all greens..heart breaking! !

When I was only three I planted a tree

When I was three I planted a tree. This was my tree and together we would always be. I gave it love and it to me, and so we were happy, me and my tree.
Then one day they came to see me and my tree. Men with no faces, and they said to me, you must go, and leave this tree.
Buy why I ask. For we've done no harm. Me and my tree, please let us be.
So they left us alone, me and my tree, but only for a while but I could not see.
Then one day they came and took me away. My tree was needed to save the day. Goods it will make it makes perfect sense. So we will take this tree, for wood we need. And so it was done, they took my tree.
And now I look around, my tree I no longer see. Taken from, this tree I planted when I was three.

Banyan Tree

Banyan tree, banyan tree
that century old banyan tree
standing grandeurly for us to see
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Cool breeze passing through
seeking blessings of banyan tree
branches shaking in approval
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Glassy green with majestic trunk
touching the earth, not breaking free
shelter home for different birds
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Yellowish streaks, some with reddish tinge
welcome every season with a glee
symbol of eternal life
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Shedding leaves, like tears falling
a grandfather lamenting on its knees
new plants cuddling around
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Lord Buddha became its buddy
meditation was the only key
peace you get underneath
that is why it is banyan tree.

Banyan tree, banyan tree
wish fullfilling, it is banyan tree
just pray here and let you see
Banyan tree, banyan tree.

A life giver and just for free
Banyan is my national pride
preserve these at any cost
don't commit a homicide?

God blessed us with banyan tree
heat absorbing banyan tree
has healing powers this banyan tree
banyan tree, banyan tree.

Not Finished

A perfect night
the stars are sparkling bright
staring into the sky,
the little house in the creek
sits nestled under the tall mossy tree
the house aged by nature...beautiful
as the rain starts to pour
the tall mossy tree protects the house and its front door
the mossy tree bears the weight of the sky
as the house is kept dry
more clouds swarm in recklessly
lightning cracks as it sets fire to the tall mossy tree
the tree stands strong....
but i doesn't know if it can last long
as the rain runs down the tree's trunk and roots
like tears

Time of the Oak

At the end of my fence there is a beautiful big oak tree
It has withstood all weathers remaining proud and free
The trees bark is overgrown with wild ivy and faded
It's never alone because many insects and critters invaded

I often see the sparkling eyes of a racoon at twilight
Or an opossum hanging from a branch holding on tight
Thousands of insects and birds visited over the years
Because the tree provides shade and shelter it appears

I often think of trimming it but I do not have the heart
Leaving nature alone seems to be the way that's smart
During fall I usually get mad because of the falling leaves
But I enjoy watching the squirls taking acorns like thieves

The old tree has seen different times and past generations
It has fought with the wind and endured heat with patience
The oak spreaded out and with majestic posture it stands
The tree is a statement of time without making demands

During a storm I know I am safe if the oak tree survives
Because it has conquered time - being part of many lives
I am waiting for whispers of ancient secrets it may shares
Telling me about natures yet undiscovered evolutionary affairs

Take her over

I nearly collapsed with tears
I was unable to withstand and bear
How could death take her over?
When she needed comfort and cover

I see her beautiful eyes with message
It may be years before than of her age
The picture reveals of deep anguish
As if pond is dried of fishes

She is no more day in this world
Her memory pushes me in cold
How much she had dreamed for future
I won’t be able to put it for sure

I am at the top of the ladder
I serve the poor as doctor
I read pain in your eyes
There are many questions unanswered. Why?

Years have been passed yet you are same
I see reflection of quality in your name
I feel proud of being your kid
You were kind enough to provide me all the leads

Where you are mom? But here in my dream
I always used to sleep in your arm
Your were like tree and provided shade
I miss you so much even after many years of wedding

I loved the way you treated
No anger but always greeted
Provided whatever you could do
How lovely and innocent you were to be true

Never go off from my memory
I feel so deprived and sorry
I look at yours eyes and miss
That lovely and sweet forehead kiss

The Vision the Tree that was Me

I saw a tree so tall and straight
It almost reached to the heavenly gate
I was very close to that tall tree
I became the tree, and the tree became me A fire was burning all around
It burned the roots that were attached to the ground
The fire did not burn the heart of the tree;
As I was the tree and the tree was me. God saved the tree that was me,
God looks upon the heart you see
He saw a sinful heart set free
Sins all buried on the cross of calvary God took the tree that was me,
And planted it by crystal sea
I am the tree, and the tree of life is in me
I, and the tree are one you see, Would you like to be our neighbor?
A tree planted by the waters.
Come to the cross dear sisters and brothers
Jesus will meet you; and we will meet each other.
