People sit down together

Holiday Debate
Happy holiday they say with a smile, even though they’re in denial,
All around man’s legitimate reason, why we even have this season,
When men and women all about earth, reflect on The Savior’s birth,
Through celebration and praise, as men lift up the Ancient of Days.
There are people on each side, who in Christ, do and do not abide,
Who do refuse to even celebrate, the season some may even hate,
Those, who truly love The Lord, say this season should be ignored,
While those with no religious belief, fill the season with undue grief.
Some peoples dispute the date, adding the calendar to the debate,
Using the harvest time as a reason, to discredit the holiday season;
There’re some who could care less, about a time many call blessed,
While they go on about their way; as for them, it is just another day.
No matter what the debate may be, another holiday all men will see,
Most men, again will participate, while others, continue their debate,
Friend, if you indeed participate, just how will your family celebrate?
Will your holiday be a secular kind, or a season with Christ in mind?
Whatever your view of this holiday, God’s Word has so little to say,
But, much to say about The Son, Who came that day, for everyone,
God’s Son, Who came with Salvation, for all men from every nation,
Is coming again, as King to receive, all those, who sincerely believe.

As my brothers rest their head on mother earth,
Loving memories bloom of their luxurious birth.
Their days, their short years, were sadly their fate,
Yet they showered happiness a story to relate.
Bounteous love and overflowing homely joys,
Embedded with sincere feelings they did enjoy.
A smiling perfection, though to fame unknown.
Melancholy I treasure them, my knights my own.
Days of glimmering vacation out of sight

If you need a holiday somewhere in the sun
Let me show you something that is really fun
Take a sparkling holiday somewhere in bubblegum
You can lie down in the shadow of electric silver trees
You can play ferry sinking victim looking water-ski
And if you want excitement ask the poet kids
They all look like charly manson a bit
Take a sparkling holiday.. its such a fun
You might have a quite interesting sightseeing tour
Go to hangover purgatory nightmare shore
See the damned and the dead and the died for love
The commercial gurus, the artist and the stuff
And if you come to lovey church, sit down in second row
You can hear your sister screaming in the room below
And the priest will claim thus they might be sure
A girl can either be a saint or a whore
Take a sparkling holiday...
Come to the old bridge where the jokers juggle with your fears
Give them a penny and theyll show you how to exorcise
And under the bridge the junkies shoot sperm
Its so expensive these days and they substitute the yearning
And if you want to dine, go to loonys inn

Go take a Holiday
Go take a holiday, somewhere so quiet,
And if need be, leave your pets with the vet;

Then maybe go on a train for a trip to the sea,
Might be Adelaide, or Perth, enjoy the scenery.
Go take a holiday, to the far north, on a jet plane,
To cairns, or Darwin, where, no where is it the same;
What about take a glass bottom boat to an island or two,
But; don't get seasick, or get stung, it's a warning for you.
Go for a holiday, to the Mornington peninsula, to a flat,
Try Rosebud, or Sorrento, to the folks, have a chat;
Go to the back beach, feed the lively seagulls there,
They love to eat your picnic meal, they say share.
Go take a holiday, to Philip Island, in the car,
It takes almost a day to get there, it's so far;
You'll see the penguins and a seal or two,
Some koalas in the trees, and kangaroos too.
Go take a holiday, over on the car ferry,
To Tasmania, all night, out on the rough sea;
Then go see the pioneer settlements, down there,
Then up to the German village, some tasty food to share.
Go take a holiday, to the big rock, Uluru, see the view,
Be careful of the dingoes, and the snakes, they'll bite you;
Take the train then, but on four legs with a hump,
I mean a 12 camel train, the ride will give you a bump.
Whenever you decide to go when you go away,
Whatever state you decide, have a safe holiday;
Pray before you go, for safety, for your family,
And don't drive unsafely, be wise, do go sleepy.
