Stars in your eyes
Oh! It's really amazed me and a surprise too.
My fellow poet friend Max.Reif visited me on the 23 rd of Nov.'07
Early in the morning.(Both of us wished a happy thanksgiving!)
We had coffee and few doughnuts in a small restaurant in Anaheim.
I wanted to tell him that I have seen him before.
Yes my dear friend, I recount my previous births and I am sure that we have met in several occasions in different places.
This good practice goes forever and all of a sudden we met in the U.S.A.
You brought your precious guitar and a tiny mouth-organ
And you sang 'Stars in your eyes' in your deep clear voice.
That's your own golden lyrics.
Yes my dearest, I saw thousands of twinkling stars in your transparent blue eyes and I hear the sweetest melody that comes with your dark shadow
Wherever I go in this fruitless journey.
* Dedication to my friend Max!
In this cycle of births and deaths we meet in different names?

Max Reif, I would like to hear again after a long lull.
Just give a shout from your hiding place dear friend
and do you remember this comment you made for my poem
'St.Patrick's day' a long time ago,
We met once and I would like to hear that song again
'Stars in your eyes'
Please Bring your tiny mouth organ
and the precious guitar.
In this cycle of births and deaths
We meet in different names brother!

How did they get your phone #, Nimal? Is this a saga I should have been following? How did you ever get to America? Are there poems of yours I should read, that will tell me? Did David bring you? Have you been posting on The Forum (which I seldom read, these days) about your travels?
I'll try to catch up. Please let me know which poems or whatever will help me.
Hopefully, these are just idiotic, empty threats. And hopefully, you are seeing a different world-as I did when I went to India.
Much love, many blessings, prayers for your safety and well-being (and continuing 'poet's education' in Love and Beauty and the Oneness of all beings!) And passing on what you receive!

A Friend LikeYou
A friend like you is like no other friend
A friend like you is a friend I don't regret meeting
A friend like you is like a friend I can't scream at or fight with
A friend like you is like having no worries in my life
A friend like you is a friend that I don't want to lose
A friend like you is like being in comfort all day
A friend like you is a friend I always wanted
A friend like you is awesomely awesome
A friend like you is random and funny
A friend like you is a friend that I love to death and I will never let go
A friend like you is a friend I can tell all my secrets to
A friend like you..
A friend like you is like the little sister I've always wanted
A friend that I can go to tell them what's wrong
A friend like you is like having no dark days because you brighten them up
A friend like you is a friend that opens up my eyes and helps me avoid bad things
A friend like you is a type of friend that laughs at dumb things I say or do
A friend like you is a friend I am proud to call my best friend...

I Have A Friend
I have a friend who cannot walk
I have a friend all he does is talk
I have a friend, Philippe is his name
I have a friend and we are just the same
I have a friend he’s seventeen years old
I have a friend who has a heart of gold
I have a friend who would catch me if I fall
It is only that he has no legs at all
I have a friend and when my friend was seven
A car ran over him and he almost went to heaven
I have a friend with a smile that I adore
I have a friend who lives in a house of four
I have a friend his family is his home
I have a friend who dreams of visiting Rome
I have a friend who is still finishing school
Yet some people tell him that for that he is a fool
I have a friend they say he is disabled
He has no legs and for that he is labeled
I have a friend who has a friend
They were made for each other; their love will never end
I have a friend who likes to name the stars
I have a friend and what he hates is cars
I have a friend who’s happier than you and me
I have a friend who’s shown me how happy I can be
I have a friend who’s had his bad times too
I have a friend who’s better than me and you
I have a friend so dear to me and kind
That another one like him I shall never find!

Hello Again
Hello again, my dear bestest friend.
Oh where oh where do I begin.
We are living in a time of pretenders.
Wanna be defenders.
Players and instigators.
Haters and complainers.
Just to fit in.
Hello again my dearest friend.
Oh where oh where do begin.
Being so forthright in such hard times.
Is where I find my clarity and deveristy.
Yes I'm fine. I just got a lot on my mind.
I'm facing a great adversary.
Give me another bloody marry.
So much manipulation of such a tiny constellation.
Its my world please don't.
Its my world please you shouldn't.
You'll ruin it all.
Hello again my dearest friend.
Where oh where do I begin.
So many fond memories that lead to strange eventualities.
Surprise surprise.
The sky has been compromised.
By a blood red sun rise.
Oh how it hurts the eyes.
Images of suicide.
It swallows the whole divide.
A loss of so much pride.
As a little of you dies inside.
Hello hello my dearest friend.

My daughter writes from Australia
Dad! Iwas really amazed
By seeing your name on an Aborigine graveyard tomb!
I replied her; 'Do not get frighten please,
Dear daughter in this cycle of births & deaths
This aboritve Man lives and dies in every inch of this mysterious journey!
If you have time just keep a fragrant flower over there
As every father likes the fragrance! '

Keep It Precious
You brought me to trust you brought me to tears
In one tender touch the pain disappears
I have been to the sword seen it come seen it die
As we enter the dark I bessech you to try
In prophecy all good things must end
So take care my love my friend
Keep it precious
Keep it precious
This yielding is fine this promise rare
One day at a time we've agreed to dare
Holding you tight with wide open arms
I'm letting you go no stranger to harm
Go on ride your way do not break or bend
Just take care my love my friend
Keep it precious
Keep it precious
And the wonder let the wonder never cease
And the madness of the pleasure and ecstasy
Danger believing me
Wounding and healing me please
Keep it precious
I believe in your eyes I believe in your fate
I believe we can fly on the wings we create
A voice from behind calls up anger and fear
We can silence that scream it's simple and clear
Nothing must die only if failed to mend
So take care my love my friend
Keep it precious

spontaneous lullaby to the dream (for: K.H)
spontaneous lullaby to the dream
============================================= =========
- with the dedication for
'sleepless friend ' (for: K.H)
--------------
that night is so beautiful,
and our sky lightened up with stars.
everything around is sleeping, and everyone
is breathing the dream, only...only not you...
why? why my friend, cannot you sleep?
and maybe it love it defeated you
and now you are only repeating words
I love you...love you...
sleep darling, and not be worry for tomorrow.
what was dark, the new day will brighten.
and will bring new hopes and happiness.
sleep friend, already sleep now.
why? why my friend, cannot you sleep?
and maybe it love it defeated you
and now you are only repeating words
I love you...love you...
sleep darling, I will be
your angel in the dream.
sleep my friend, for you
I will be humming my quiet lullaby.
sleep darling and don't worry for tomorrow.
what was dark, the new day will brighten.
and will bring new hopes and happiness.
sleep friend... already sleep now.
close your eyes... and you will hear it...
close your eyes... and you will hear it...
close your eyes...

A lost bird flies in an awful night
It's very strange when others rest in their peaceful roost
Why you struggle alone in the unlimited sky?
Take care my friend as the Air planes collide themselves
in the broad day light.
And if you find a better place, please do not forget to give me a shout.
*[ I am worried dear as there is no place in the serene sky to stop and relax when you are tired? ]

The Night
My voice that is for you the languid one, and gentle,
Disturbs the velvet of the dark night's mantle,
By my bedside, a candle, my sad guard,
Burns, and my poems ripple and merge in flood --
And run the streams of love, run, full of you alone,
And in the dark, your eyes shine like the precious stones,
And smile to me, and hear I the voice:
My friend, my sweetest friend... I love... I'm yours... I'm yours!

My Father’s Son
Once
when I was still a baby boy
obsessed, thrilled with dark night sky
father said, shut your eyes tightly
then sailed I into dark night sky
dreaming of my arms
dipping in deep, dark-blue velvety
palpating golden sheen of the golden full moon
snatching twinkling stars.
But
i fell like lead
just before hard ground
to my father’s arms- veinated, calloused
his chirped nails safely grabbed
then
i opened my eyes
stretching my empty arms, pink nails
for a earnest glimpse of
a dip of deep, dark-blue velvety
golden sheen of the golden full moon
snatched twinkling stars.
and I felt sad.
Then-
father buried his head on my nape
his grizzly beard tickling my face
making little ‘blurp’ ‘blurp’ sounds
my shrill laughter
accosting his deep throaty laughter
echoing my disappointment into dark night sky
before sailing me into dark night sky
back to his rough-gentle arms
again
again
and again
to dip in deep, dark-blue velvety
palpate golden sheen of the golden full moon
snatching twinkling stars.
“Drink all Ma’s omena* soup
to be taller, reach the dark night sky”
father said, following my gaze
into the dark night sky
static radio bleating reggae
golden full moon bathing us in golden sheen
just me and my father
sleeping in his rough-gentle arms
dreaming of my arms
dipping in deep, dark-blue velvety
palpating golden sheen of the golden full moon
snatching twinkling stars

River (Millie)
Flowing through my life like a river,
you provide that tranquility,
the ever constant path and rhythm.
You are all I could of asked for.
A friend I care for,
a friend I can't love more,
a friend so bright,
a friend sparkling my night.
A friend always there,
a friend who is always fair,
a friend who I respect,
a friend better than all the rest.
A friend I admire,
a friend who I can't tire,
I friend who I trust,
a friend which has no lust.
A friend who will last,
a friend who you can't cast,
a friend who is a treasure,
a friend forever for sure.
As I will try to keep you,
supporting you as I can,
standing by your side in decisions,
trusting you with my eyes closed.

Down Zhongnan Mountain
Down the blue mountain in the evening,
Moonlight was my homeward escort.
Looking back, I saw my path
Lie in levels of deep shadow....
I was passing the farm-house of a friend,
When his children called from a gate of thorn
And led me twining through jade bamboos
Where green vines caught and held my clothes.
And I was glad of a chance to rest
And glad of a chance to drink with my friend....
We sang to the tune of the wind in the pines;
And we finished our songs as the stars went down,
When, I being drunk and my friend more than happy,
Between us we forgot the world.

Melody
Melody
By: Adam M. Snow
O' Melody, names like the angel's song;
music swaying around thine love
but of thy love my days be long;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
I long to hear thy voice, thy angelic voice
soothes away my hearts desire.
But it be that of love's choice
echoing upon thy voice.
Can thee forever love a lonely man such as I,
or do thee live on knowing not that of love,
or do thee walk passed and curse myself to die?
This feeling, this love O' Melody I cannot deny.
Let me hear thy choir of thy song;
a voice so deep calming the soul.
Let thy voice and passion be strong;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
Sing; let thy voice be heard across the Earth.
Let it pierce thy shadows.
Let the world see a new found birth
and the wonders its worth.
O' Melody, a song I longed after
to cleanse my immortal soul,
to feel the joy and laughter
and be with you hereafter.
O' Melody, names like the angel's song;
music swaying around thine love
but of thy love my days be long;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
O' Melody, play thy music for I love thee.
Thy lyrics be true thy heart,
Thy song be thy key
to set all souls free.
Let me hear thy choir of thy song;
a voice so deep calming the soul.
Let thy voice and passion be strong;
O' my Melody, sang my song.

To you, my dear friend,
Friendship begins, and goes on forever,
Friend indeed don't put friend in mouth,
Just put in heart even five years no see,
Friend don't ask bagatelles,
Just wish everything goes well,
Friend don't disturb you,
Just give you the strength to go on,
Friend don't want got sth. from you,
Just love,
Friend always share the beauty of life,
Even more the hard time,
Friend goes together when the sun is shining,
Even more the raining day,
Friend pledge someday sth.,
Even more the actions,
Friend remember happy times past,
Even more now,
Friendship ends, and we pass away.
Love and Friend (Retouched)
In my gallery of heart
You as my subject of art
To ask people to ask them-self...
What colors they pick for their friend?
Common question plays on mind
If our choice, wrongly taken
Can the heart be mend again?
Observe the piece carefully
Good one naturally touch gently
Only can brush with sincerely hand
A Magic touch of soft blend
Whatever colors to be now
Like or not you will know
As your feeling flows
by someone call friend?
or love? friend, love
For hours they stuck,
Just confused in muse
Figuring an abstract their feeling reflects
Red real love bound on blue true love
Purple explain how love is not only for a lover
It designed to fit someone called friend
by my great love, My dear God
Love of a friend
purest like a blessing rain
when it fall to kiss dry and hot desert
grow and branching for a nice feeling
just like a plant greened on desert
eyes being comfort
calm never less
beautiful and blessed...
accept all without condition
A true friend
Speak deep in heart
Nothing with money
Sweeter than honey
Hate to hate
Love to love
When we need and we get feed
Love present everytime friends meet
Count your feeling, blessing
Color will fades
When you losing a true friend
The art will less it's intense
losing our eyes...blinding will
losing a taste of friendship..Miss the sweet
losing a sweet of memory...Loose the glory
we need a friend to see and you my eyes
Shall be blend our souls
For the ray of light invades
To be a masterpiece of art
We need to hold together
Avoid all seven colors fade
because you are my hidden sight
My heart swimming in our glade
So u could see how beautiful to make
Love is for you
For a friend
For someone like you
My lips, my tongue, my voice
verbally deliver a word
An art as a theme to thank
Live start and end with love
For always be my great friend
Grant you will never losing me
If you could hear me
My heartbeats repeatedly telling you
I could be your third eyes forever
Explain the images of art in life
So friend will keep you sight always clear
Friend or Love? it is the same?
My art is colorful blue
The art of heart is you
Framing you now
As my precious art subject
So keep it to be happy forever
Forever with you

We forgotten how deep friendship can bring, It's a love
that we need to protect, to keep in rest of our life :)
This poem has second version==> bouquet of word......
Dedicated to all my friends for all cares and hearts for me
(Art of Heart)
............................................. ......................................
Old version
People say what is
friend?
what is love?
they always confused
because
love is not only for a lover
it also makes for a friend
and great love for God
love of friend
like...
a rain that
fall on dry and hot desert
then it grows into a nice feeling
just like a plant greened on desert
beautiful and blessed...
a true friend
nothing with money
sweeter than honey
hate to hate friend
love to love friend
because
losing a friend
mean
losing our eyes..
losing a taste of friendship
losing a sweet of memory
each of the ray of light invades
don't let the seven colors fade
so here
i just want to say
thanks for be my good friend
i promise u will have
me as your eyes forever

Differences between a Good Friend and a Bad Friend
A good friend would wait for you;
So you could both walk to the bus;
A bad friend would just leave impatient;
“I’d rather go hang with Gus.”
A good friend would help with a chore;
Even if it’s taking out the trash;
A bad friend would just smirk;
“If only you gave me cash.”
A good friend would listen;
To whatever you have to say;
A bad friend would cover your mouth;
“Quit blabbering away! ”
A good friend would say “Come on over.”
Whenever you feel like you’re alone;
A bad friend would yell at your face;
“Just go on back home! ”
A good friend would phone;
To ask how you are;
A bad friend wouldn’t care;
“Wanna go to the bar? ”
A good friend will cheer you up;
Whenever you feel sad;
A bad friend would laugh;
“Well, that’s just too bad.”
A good friend would stand up for you;
When blamed for a crime;
A bad friend would walk away;
“Oh look at the time.”
A good friend would come to your funeral;
And leave flowers in your wake;
A bad friend would blow it off;
“It was his mistake! ”
