Shooter and the clay pigeon

The young marksman who is in the services deprives her as a slave.
His love seems to her like military orders.
But how can she salute him in despair?
He is not the right partner though he is well polished.
Let him choose a quarrelsome lass and search for a polite soldier who really fights with life.

*I dedicate this poem to my brother soldiers who are in the meaningless battlefield on this precious Christmas day.
The Lord Jesus preached about brotherhood against the battlefield?

Battlefield Of Love

I am a soldier
A casualty of love
I've been from heaven
All the way to hell
I've had a journey
Much more than I can tell
I've got stories
Much more than I can sell

All this mass confusion
Causes chaos in my brain
I'm on the battlefield
The battlefield of love
With all of the illusions
I won't ever be the same
I'm on the battlefield
The battlefield of love

I'm a prisoner
A prisoner of love
I have been captured
And kept underground
I have been tortured
But I don't make a sound
'Cause I know one day
One day I will be found

All this mass confusion
Causes chaos in my brain
I'm on the battlefield
The battlefield of love
With all of the illusions
I won't ever be the same
I'm on the battlefield
The battlefield of love

The Soldier Fights

the soldier fights for the hippys rights to protest against that soldier
the soldier fights for the politions rights to send that soldier to war
the soldier fights for buisness mans rights to make money
the soldier fights for the policemans rights to arrest that soldier
the soldier fights for school kids right to know about past soldiers
the soldier fights to so that you may all sleep at night
the soldier fights for religion so that you may all belive what you wish
And yet the soldier fights on
the soldier fights for his flag, for his country, for his life

I am not a soldier

'Hey! I take my hands up
And please don't shoot me
This is my grand son's toy gun.'
'Then why did you come to the battlefield? ' Soldier inquired.
'I am jogging as per my diabetes doctor's advise.'
'You should go to a playground.'
'Certainly this is a playground not a battlefield brother,
Both parties are friends and why hold the guns?
While enemies groan in their castles comfortably.'

He Fights

A soldier is a soldier,
He stands tall before our flag,
He fights for what’s right,
He fights for his people,
He fights for us to be free,
He fights for us to live,
He fights for his family,
He fights for all the things the Red, White, Blue stand for,
He’s a solider 24/7,
To all that see him he’s just another to die fighting,
To us his family most importantly his daughter me,
I see him for how he really is,
He’s my father,
He’s my post when something sad has happened,
He’s my hope,
He’s my shoulder I need to cry on,
He’s my everything.
To everyone ells he’s just another solider how dies for a cause but to me he’s my father that lives his life to the fullest.

I got this idea of this poem from Angela Goodwin, even though it sounds like my dad died he didn’t but he was one of the soldiers how was sent over and came back in one piece and this is meant for him, even though we fight all the time my dad are all the things above and no matter what I say I could never hate him.

Deaf Gunpowder

Come on soldier.
Soldier?
Get off of your battlefield
Let me take you to a place
Where your weapons are sealed.

Come on soldier.
Soldier?
Look me in the eye
Your heart hasn’t chosen to be here
Then why are you here?
Ask yourself why.

Come on soldier.
Soldier?
It’s time to breathe
It’s time to stop fighting for your life,
For something you don’t believe.

Hey soldier?
Soldier?
I do understand
It wasn’t your choice to be here
But you chose not to fight for that;
You chose to fight for someone else.
That is why in life you were not alive
But when you died,
That was when you started to breathe.

Hey soldier?
Soldier?
I know you cannot hear
Because you strived
You are alive
To you death will never come near.

A Soldiers Dream

A soldier isn't just a soldier,
but a human being.
sent to fight over seas,
Sent to fight to please his leaders dream,
and as this soldier gets older, his only dream is to live.
But as years pass by, his hopes and dreams are thorn apart,
as he is sent to run to reach the other side,
as he runs through the open battlefield,
were the enemy waits for the kill.
And as this soldier stops and prays, the enemy is moved by this soldiers face.
The enemy lets this soldier flee,
know this soldier is free,
free to live his own dream.

Christmas, Christmas

Whenever Christmas comes around
The people seem to be,
Full of love and brotherhood
as far as the eye can see.
Wouldn't it be much better
to act this way all year round
But Jesus is the reason
There's a Christmas.

Christmas, Christmas
Hear the angels sing.
He brought joy to the world
and salvation to all mankind.

Christmas cards and Christmas gifts
are everywhere in view.
Goodies and candy and stocking stuff,
the shoppers all wanting new.
They seem to miss just what it is
The greatest of all God's perfect gifts
It's Jesus, He's the reason
There's a Christmas.

Christmas, Christmas comes and goes
And with it the nations see
That there is a God that many know
Who gave them life eternally?
Wouldn't it be much better
if the whole world could know Him as He is?
It's Jesus, He's the reason
There's a Christmas

A Body of Believers

My friend, a true body of believers, will truly be of one accord,
When the spirit they’ve received, is truly from Christ The Lord.
The infiltration of any deceivers, is one thing unity can’t afford,
If a true body of believers, seeks to serve and glorify The Lord.

The early Church of Jesus Christ, was of one accord at the start,
As men surrendered their life, and gave to God their entire heart.
They were to become the Light, and shades of dark had no part.
And anyone initiating any strife, for the sake Jesus must depart.

A special unity they would show, as they preached to all the rest,
And all who saw would truly know, from above they were blessed.
By The Lord they were sent to go, and of Truth they would attest.
Through all trials they would grow, gaining strength at every test.

They were known for their love, for Jesus Christ and one another,
Through a unity that was truly of, The Lord Jesus in every brother.
And it was from The Lord above, whose love is truly like no other.
Drawing other men with His Love; hoping this day to add another.

They had spread God’s revelation, about The Lord Jesus Christ,
And all about The Lord’s Salvation, and the Hope of Eternal Life.
Preaching to every man and nation, in the Love of Jesus Christ,
And always with an anticipation, that they’d give Christ their life.

A Soldier's Prayer

This poem is written for our soldiers over seas. May God be with them all.

A Soldier's Prayer
By: Adam M. Snow

O' Lord my God I pray;
for I am far away;
on a land, not my home;
I'm on my knees and all alone;
as I fight for freedom and peace;
I ask, 'Let this bloodshed cease.

I am fighting a war;
on a distant foreign shore;
fighting for my family and friends;
hoping that this would soon end.
I bow my head to a flag-draped casket;
to a soldier, not a rank past private.

I pray for salvation for all soldiers dead and gone;
as I continue to fight through the red of dawn;
for I fight what I believe is true;
I am but a lonely soldier living for you.
Forgive us Jesus for we have sinned;
I now end this prayer O' Lord, Amen.

Soldiers For The Lord & God's Poet Tom Zart

GOD'S SOLDIERS FOR THE LORD

It's time to remember our soldiers for the Lord
Who are deployed throughout God's Earth.
It's time to recall their sacrifice and love
For what freedom and liberty are worth.

The wicked of heart hate America the free
And would commit any foul deed to cause her harm.
It's up to God's soldiers to defend and preserve
Our existence as a country free of tyranny and alarm.

Ever since America's General George Washington
Took up his sword and road off to war.
God's soldiers of freedom have laid down their life
For faith, country, liberty, love, family and more.

SOLDIER FOR THE LORD

I'm a soldier for the Lord
Who's been up and who's been down
Though while on the battlefield
I have never turned around.

I face more than flesh and blood
With the devil's evil hoard.
But they shall not steal my soul
For I swing my Lord's swift sword.

I wear all of God's armor
With helmet, breastplate and shield.
As Satan's arrows fly by
From his archers of the field.

The devil casts his dark net
Over any he may charm.
He'll lead them from salvation
With his hands upon their arm.

I battle evil daily
And I pray that you'll join me.
We're not alone in this world
For we're loved and watched by Thee.

And open doors no man can close.

Believe

There is more to life,
everything isn't rife
with pain and suffering, we have a purpose, believe
Its already been Christmas eve,
believe... in something greater!
Believe in the Lord God our Creator
why some ask?
to me its still a simple task
and i have my reason, this joy, new life, and purpose all
the fact that with him i do not fall
Believe for your own sake!
He gives generously, the Lord giveth and taketh away
but I have a speical joy! that no man nor creature may ever take
this joy does not simply last for a day
The Lord has blessed me with his joy, one that i cannot explain
one that no other man could copy or feign
a joy that people search their whole lives for....
trying any human activity, any pleasure anything to find looking i became sore
but now God has graciously given it to me asking almost nothing in return
He just asked me to believe, now i ask you,
that you might believe too
If you read any of my poems you'll see i WAS a suicidal kid
i wanted to take my life and i hid from
it, now i do not want to take my life i love being alive
i beg all of you believe it does not mattter of my good works or a chide
or rebuke of a brother Christianity is not rules!
Faith, Love, and Joy, that is what it is, and a Lord who chases away ghouls
and problems and helps me defeat sin, thats what my faith is!
my life is His
and Because of that pledge i go from suicidal to a feeling i cannot explain
even if i try its so wonderful words do not do it justice
so i simply ask you believe it is not your deeds that save you no ordain
ordained destiny for burn or for salvation no.... it is
John 14: 6 'I am the Way the truth and the light and no one gets to the Father except through me. Jesus declared.' This is why we celebrate Christmas
its for Him! so lets take this time to Believe
I know its not Christmas eve
its Christmas day
do not let this chance fly away
Please i ardently desire you to feel this Joy! God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit
are calling i beg that you answer but if nothing else feel the joy and love
Believe

Bible in Poetry: Philemon 1

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ,
And his brother, Timothy writes:
To Philemon, friend and worker,
To Apphia, beloved sister,
To Archippus, fellow soldier,
To the church that meets in your home,
‘From God, our Father, grace and peace,
And from Jesus Lord, be with you.’

Thanksgiving and Prayer:

I thank my God always brothers,
And remember you in prayers,
Because about your faith, I hear,
In Jesus Lord and saints so dear.

I exhort you to share your faith,
And understand all things in Christ;
Your love has given me great joy,
And refreshed hearts of saints, ahoy!

Paul’s Plea for Onesimus:

Although in Christ, I can be bold,
And order you to do as told,
Christ Jesus’ prisoner, now man old,
Paul, I appeal to you with love,
For Onesimus, my son dear,
While I in chains, he came so near;
Although, he was useless to you,
But now, he is useful to both.

I’m sending him, who is my heart,
Although I wish he didn’t depart,
And take your place in helping me,
While I’m in chains for the Gospel.

Yet, I don’t want to do something,
Without your consent on that thing,
So that, the favor that you do
Is spontaneous and from heart true.

May be, he was away from you,
So that, you have him back for good,
Not as a slave but as brother.
He is so dear to me and you,
Both as a man and in the Lord.

Like how you consider me as
A partner, welcome him like me;
If he has done anything wrong,
Or owes you then, charge it to me.
I’ll pay it back without delay;
Refresh my heart in Christ this day.
I know you will obey my words,
And that, you’ll do more than I ask.

Prepare a guest-room for me for,
I hope to be restored to you,
In answer to your prayers all.

Fellow in Jesus, Epaphras;
Aristarchus, Mark, Luke, Demas-
My fellow-workers, send greetings!

The grace of Lord Christ Jesus be
With your spirit in ministry.

Orders From Headquarters

Mathew 20: 28
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many

Jesus himself came to follow orders. And a great one too. To sacrifice His life for ours. To save us.

Not many like to take orders. Yet in reality, we take orders everyday. Whether it's work, school, parents, or even sports. We are all obliged to take orders whether we like it or not. Why is that though?

Most of the time we take orders from those we need. For example, your boss at work. You take his orders because you need the money. Or your teachers. You take their commands because you're looking to graduate.

In retrospect, we need to follow God's orders because we need Jesus more than anything in this world. He's our provider, our light, our breath of everyday, our everything.

He gave us orders, and that's to serve Him. So how much more do we need to carry out His orders? Jesus did it. So how much more do we?

These are the orders from headquarters, carry out His commandments, seek Him. Evangelize, and care for others according to His will.

In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Christmas Comes

Christmas comes with children singing,
Christmas comes with sleigh bells ringing,
Christmas comes with frosty nights,
Christmas comes with snowball fights.

Christmas comes with Santa Claus,
Christmas comes with snowy floors,
Christmas comes with robins and reindeer,
Chsitmas comes with a hearty cheer.

Christmas comes with gold, frankincense and myrrh,
Christmas comes with Jesus' birth,
Christmas comes with angels from afar,
Christmas comes with a wondrous star.

Christmas comes now, at last,
Christmas comes, like in the past,
Christmas comes after such a long wait,
Christmas comes and it will be great.

An American Soldier

Proud to be in the Army
A government Agent
Sent across the sea
This is an American Soldier

Dressed in a uniform
To show his allegiance
And weather the storm
This is an American Soldier

Sworn to protect you and I
Defender of freedom
and willing to die
This is an American Soldier

Given a secret mission
He completes his orders
Through strong ambition
This is an American Soldier

In foreign lands he attends
To the fallen soldiers
Whose wounds need to mend
This is an American Soldier

Upon his return he cries
Becoming a hero
He says his goodbyes
This is an American Soldier

Gratified our nation stands
With heads held high we aim
To honor this man
This is an American Soldier

A soldier is what you see
More than a warrior
He is part of me
This is an American Soldier

…This is my brother
An American Soldier

Young Soldier

Stay calm soldier
Do not panic
Stay calm soldier
And think of what you were taught
You're too young to die
My soldier
You're too young to leave

Run soldier
From the danger ahead
Run soldier
Don't be brave
You're too young to die
My soldier
You're too young to leave

Fight soldier
The enemy that fights you
Fight soldier
And make it though the day
You're too young to die
My soldier
You're too young to leave

Come home soldier
I miss you terribly
Come home soldier
To me and your family
You're too young to die
My soldier
Don't ever leave me
