My dark palace illuminate by street lamps
The stone pillow by the roadside shares my burden
And I have nothing to lose as I do not have any personal belongings,
So, I am not worried about thieves.
Though I sleep under the starry night stars belong to the sky
And I have only one friend an old rat who comes for a turnip.
He's so grateful as he only eats half and the rest keeps for me.
We used to sing together in lonely nights
Moon listens but very quiet.

Lonely Hearts & Starry Nights! !
Lonely Hearts & Starry Nights! !
Lonely hearts and Starry nights,
Part of everyone's life,
Sometimes in heartbreaks,
Sometimes in delight,
Some nights the moon is shining bright,
And sometimes the eyes are crying,
Longing for her sight,
Some nights the stars are twinkling above,
And sometimes the heart is lonely,
And looking for love,
Sometimes in the beauty of night,
You dream of holding her,
And flying in moon's silvery light,
Filled with joy and delight,
Sometimes your heart takes flight,
And at other times you wish,
You don't wake up when you sleep tonight,
Lonely hearts and starry nights,
Part of everyone's life,
Sometimes in heartbreak,
Sometimes in delight! !

Moon of the fourteenth
Behind the clouds when the moon slipped
The light then hid in the shadows
I felt your lips then on my cheek
As you lifted my finger to the sky
We wrote our name on the stars
Not for luck but for us to remember
On lonely nights someday
Things that we did in the moonlit nights
When u turned my face and touched
Those pink lips again the moon rose from the east
Like sun your eyes shone with passion
The tear now I shed was long gone
Whispered the moon of the fourteenth

The soul also must be fed
When others smoke happily in street corners
He too smiles poor fellow!
When passing the dim Pubs
He's very aggressive.
In a narrow path of a starry night
When baby dolls dance
He too dance with a yawn.
He explained to himself
The strange guy;
'Please wait and don't be hurry,
This tricky lottery of life
Does a miracle soon
And I fulfill all your innocent dreams.
I'll buy an expensive grey color metalic painted Hearse
And we do a full-blooded round trip Chum!

The Poem Of The Night
The Poem of the Night
The poem of the night
is a quiet poem.
It listens only
to itself.
It calls no one;
It remains as it is
where it is,
waiting with the subtle light
which makes it mean
what Beauty does.
The Poem of the Night
is a quiet life
and a light of Love
Looking at God's world
and smiling at it-

Gentle The Stars And The Town Asleep
Gentle the stars and the town asleep.
No stranger at the gate. No door ajar.
The windows deep in their own affairs.
Flowers thicken the hot night air
with pheromones of sex and death
that follow you all the way down the street
like homeless kittens and lonely junkies.
Walking my solitude off alone,
the cold stone of the moon overhead,
the first night bird I've heard tonight
singing high in the leaves of an elm
strung like a guitar with power lines
and in my heart, a child of longing,
the half-finished spectre of a poem to you.
The streetlamps bud like day lilies
but nothing blooms in the tungsten light
though insects gather in impotent frenzies,
my poem to you makes love through its eyes
to the leaf and the star and the stone
seeking out images of you to adorn
this figment of desire in a shrine of thorns.
A woman dreams in a house far away.
The road grows darker and longer
out among the fields where the stars
wax brighter than the themes of a poet
igniting like fireflies down by the river
he sits by nursing his imagination
on the night shift of the inconceivable.

Sleep if you're tired
Sleep lil one.
Sleep your troubles away.
Quietly lay down, under your warm blanket,
Close your pretty brown eyes,
and rest your head on your pillow.
When you're tired,
just go to sleep.
Sleep like a temporary death,
if you have a dream, you're in heaven.
If you have a nightmare, you're in hell.
Let the moon and stars shine,
shine on you.
Let the moon give you comfort,
and let the stars guide you.
Just remember,
Sleep if you're tired.

Tailor's daughter and the orphan boy
He writes to her; My dear sweetheart,
I want you to expose nothing but the truth.
There is no way to go outdoors
until my friend comes back.
Because he borrowed my one and only pant for an interview.
I heard that your kind father's looking for an apprentice
And I am the most eligible candidate for the position
As I darn my life everyday.
It's a great help if you could put this scribbling on top of your father's resume file.
And I hope to see you soon on my friend's arrival.

The Starry Night
That does not keep me from having a terrible need of — shall I say the word — religion. Then I go out at night to paint the stars. — Vincent Van Gogh in a letter to his brother
The town does not exist
except where one black-haired tree slips
up like a drowned woman into the hot sky.
The town is silent. The night boils with eleven stars.
Oh starry night! This is how
I want to die.
It moves. They are all alive.
Even the moon bulges in its orange irons
to push children, like a god, from its eye.
The old unseen serpent swallows up the stars.
Oh starry starry night! This is how
I want to die:
into that rushing beast of the night,
sucked up by that great dragon, to split
from my life with no flag,
no belly,
no cry.

Endless offing..
Leaving the newly married wife at home,
going for the green pasture all alone,
after a month he hears the pregnancy,
happy at heart, but no urgency,
return home to share the joy,
birth of the child arrives,
through the cell and internet,
happy father still at work,
shares the news with his friends,
connect with home every night,
to see the baby and the wife.
She looks like a moon, far away,
lonely man drools away.
lonely woman has lost the luster,
lonely nights have made her a pitcher,
dried tears hardened the pillow,
burden in the mind so sorrow,
Time flies and the baby is five,
return home to be alive,
as a man and a wife on the bed,
an over worked man and
an over stressed out woman,
made the next baby in a day.
As the man has to provide,
and the woman has to protect,
millions live life in pretext.

Sleepless On My Pillow
I'm sleepless on my pillow
just thinking of you,
remembering just what it's like to sleep
the whole night through.
I'm not too bad in daytime
when you're not here.
But when the nights come
and you're not here
I think of you and wonder
how I'll fall asleep?
Don't want to turn the light out
for I know I'll just be
Sleepless on my pillow
just thinking of you,
remembering what it's like to sleep
the whole night through.
I wonder if you're awake
just like me?
Or are you peaceful,
sleeping silently?
When you come home again
I sleep through the night,
never waking up until
the morning light.
But when you have to leave me
for a little while,
it's then I hate those nights again
for I know that I'll be
Sleepless on my pillow
thinking just of you,
remembering what it's like to sleep
the whole night through.

The tough pilgrimage
Charming night is still young
And the dark sky is getting old.
Virgin Moon roams around
Until the dawn comes.
Proud Sun burns
And makes wild fire in the hearts of solitary pilgrims.
But still they are ready to worship in the decayed Inn of life.

Reading Bukowski's Poem.
You ran your finger
along the spine
of books on your bookshelf
and took down
Betting on the Muse
by Charles Bukowski
and opened it
at random
reading the stories
and poem after poem
then having
nothing better to do
you got to page 292
and a poem titled
the good soul
and laughed out loud
like a dog barking
in dead of night
and your shoulders shook
and your wife said
What's so funny?
and you said
Oh just words
and she turned over
and back to sleep
and you put down
the book
beside the bed
and turned out
the light
laughing at the poem
inside your head.

It Takes A Worried Man
Oh it takes a worried man, sing a worried song
Takes a worried man, come sing a little worried song
Well it takes a worried man to sing a worried song
Im worried now, wont be worried long
I went down to the riverside and I laid me down to sleep
Went down to the riverside, laid me down to sleep, lord
A-well I went down to the riverside, laid me down to sleep
When I woke up there were shackles on both-a my feet
Hit it!
(chorus)
It takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
It takes a worried man (come) to sing a worried song
Yeah, it takes a worried man, yeah, to sing a worried song
Im worried now but I wont be worried long
Worry for me!
(instrumental)
I said, judge (judge) judge, whats a-gonna be my fine?
I said, judge (judge) judge (judge) tell me whats gonna be my fine?
I said, judge (judge) judge (judge) tell me whats gonna be my fine?
He said, twenty-one years (oh) on that old rock island line
Oh well it takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
Takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
Yeah, it takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
Im worried now, but I wont be worried long
Sing it one more time!
It takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
It takes a worried man, to sing a worried song, my lord
It takes a worried man, to sing a worried song
Im worried now, but I wont be worried long

Hey! That Jolly Good fellow who works in a Gas Station now.
The notorious scribbler who wants to change the sky
And replace a new Sun and Moon,
Stuck in a place where he provides fuel to the mischievous vehicles
That run on the slippery road.
The schedule was in the night where he struggles from ten to six.
He counts the stars as usual and waits till a kind star
That comes down voluntarily.
I dedicate this poem to all my poet friends in gratitude.

Let The Nights
let the nights
sing for us our love songs
if it be
let it be some birds' calls for love
let the nights
when we are too weary
be a very restful sleep
taking us to dreams of more love
let the nights be not a recalling
of our mistakes
let there be no stories
about our shortcomings
let the night be like
a shadow of a house on top of its roof the full bright moon sitting
the lamp slowly dying to rest and sleep
in a little cozy room the windows still open

Awaiting Thee
When thou art gone;
I sing my lonely song.
When thou art gone;
My waking hours are filled only with thoughts of thee.
When I sleep,
My dreams are filled with thee-
As I long for thee.
My love;
I await thee-
Lonely day,
After lonely day.
Lonely night,
After lonely night.
When The sun shines bright,
And the songbirds sing their joyous chorus-
It reminds me of this love of ours-
As I long for thee.
I await thee,
My love-
Throughout the lonely day-
Till the setting sun dwindles in dusk’s twilight-
Beyond golden pastures-
Fading in the night.
My love;
I long for thee.
My love;
I await thee-
Throughout the lonely night,
As the crickets chirp their symphony,
And in the darkness,
Like floating candles,
The fireflies glow.
And I remember our love,
As I gaze at the silver moon,
And diamond stars.
Forever embracing this love of ours.
As I sleep at night,
I dream only of being with thee,
My love.
As I awake,
And the sun rises at dawn over the emerald mountain tops,
I await thee,
My love.
Longing for you-
Day through day,
Night through night-
I await thee,
My love.
My love;
When thou art gone;
I sing my lonely song…

I Would Write A Quiet Poem
I WOULD WRITE A QUIET POEM
I would write a quiet poem.
There is so much noise in the world.
A poem to be read in silence
A poem to give comfort and rest
A poem of peace
Of mind and soul.
A quiet poem
Against all the furies and pains of this world
A poem of peace
Restful as the most bliss-filled sleep.
