I feel the secret palpitation of her soft heart!
She resembles
The actress,
'Ava Gardner.'
The Lady cashier
in a smoke shop.
And I told her to give me
A Dutch Masters Vanilla cigar
She asked my date of birth.
I said; 'Exactly sixty one today! '
Then she replied with a familiar smile.
'You look younger than your age.
Believe me I am not kidding.'

I Was Only Kidding
When I said that Id be faithful
When I promised Id be true
When I swore that I could never
Be with anyone but you
When I told you that I loved you
With those tender words I spoke
I was only kidding
Now, cant you take a joke?
When I said that I need you, baby
When I told you that I really care
When I said that I cant live without you
When I said Id follow you anywhere
When I said you could always trust me
When I said Id never leave you flat
Well, guess what? I was only kidding, baby
I cant belieeeeve you fell for that! youre so gullible...
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) you thought that was for real?
I was only kidding
Now Im sorry if you misunderstood, but the fact remains
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) baby, baby, I was...
(I was) only kidding
Well, I guess I got you pretty good, now listen...
When I said that I love you, baby
From the very bottom of my heart
When I said that I miss you so badly
Every second were apart
When I swore that youre just getting more and more
Beautiful every day
Well, I was only kidding, honey
Whats the matter with you anyway? let me tell you something
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) you understand, dont ya?
I was only kidding
Well, I guess it probably hurts you alot, but you gotta know
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) come on now, get a clue
I was only kidding
I really love you... not!
When I said you oughta marry
When I said that we should settle down
Well, I was pullin your leg there, honey
I was just foolin around
You see, I -- I never meant to upset you, darlin
I never meant to hurt anyone
I was only kidding, baby
Why dont you just put down that gun?
Lets talk this over
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) whatch where youre pointing that thing
(I was only kidding)
Hey, Im sorry if your heart is broke... you gotta realize
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) aww, yeah
I was only kidding
Now, honey, cant you take a joke?
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) I was only kidding
(I was only kidding) I didnt lie to you
I was only kidding... yes indeed
(I was only kidding) baby, baby, you know
(I was only kidding) hey!

My beloved Spider!
She weaves a strong Cobweb;
And I asked why darling
I am getting Sixty very soon?
Sixties are the naughtiest
And she cries in Beatitude!

The Quality Of God
In torn dress a poor boy,
Was standing near a shop,
Greeding eyes of this boy,
Bare footed, seeking joy in the shop.
The shop was full of rich people,
There was selling garments and shoes,
Toys too, something in the shape of apple,
People were in fine dress and shoes.
Nobody paid heed at this boy,
And his eyes were tearful,
All were busy in buying toys,
But boy was standing thoughtful.
A lady came there who had bright eyes,
Accompanied the boy and entered the shop,
Bought for him garments, shoes and toys,
Buying all they left the shop.
Lady put her hand on his head,
'Go now' said with love,
Boy smiled and turned up his head,
' Are you God? ' asked with love.
She replied with smiling face,
'I'm His slave not God.'
Answered the boy with confidence,
'I knew that you must belong to God.'

I sketched a Woman with a pencil stub
I call *Mantradevi for her readable eyes
Like the Indian actress Sharmila Tagore's.
(In her role in Rai's 'Apur Samsar')
And when she smiles really the Tamil dancer/actress
Vyjayanthimala with her dimple!
Her slim body like my wife
(Not now, younger days)
As same as the actress Tabu.
And when this sketchy naked woman's completed
My beloved grumbles hysterically;
'I hate your drawings the same face and the arousing body sequence
That old fiancee dame your cousin actress with a blackhead
on her bursting breast? And I hate! Really hate! '
This is her usual nonchalant song when she's angry
And I am very familiar to that poetry.
Sometimes we sing together
After a nightcap and when she's calmly mutter
Serpent like Life crawls with a shiver
And still we hardly breathe faster!

Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age.
Cooing in a nest
My beloved wife bought me a sunblock cream; 'Dad! You have some wrinkles on your face.'
'Yes Mom! We are close upon our sixties, yet to be chosen for the yearly Marathon.'
She collects pennies in an old jam bottle and hides somewhere as she knows that I steal for my daily Cuban vanilla cigar.
I dreamed one night the till full of gold coins.

Enemies were there in his dream too?
All his grey hair
Turned into a Golden spiral
At the barber shop in Heaven
And he watched in the mirror
Myriads of Barbers
Behind him
With sharp razors?

Beware of a Wolf in Sheep's clothing?
'Yes, my honoured Sir!
You're very handsome these days?
And you asked my name,
Age & date of birth,
Permanent address,
Race, Religion and parent's name
Political opinion, my pedigree
Where I was in the past 10 years?
You missed a vital question Sir!
'Did you have your meals? '
I submit everything in black & white
Honestly, but tell you frankly this
I have no papers, the relevant documents
And no franchise for me?
Still an Alien from another planet.
I watch you in the Television
after your professional hairdressing & manicure for the role,
And I promise you to say 'Hurray' loudly
with my rickety both hands lifting up
As an obedient servant,
If you win Sir! ? '

Loyal love..
Waiting is a game for you,
always follow me wherever I go,
Never disheartened,
Never get bored,
always waiting for me,
Whether I am angry or happy,
you are the same,
looking at me gracefully,
what a pair of beautiful eyes,
speaking the language of sight,
waiting is a game or a life for you.
when I give the food
you enjoy, still looking at me,
please turn away, I feel guilty.
Why you take care of me,
why you are there to protect me,
Am I in your mind?
even in your short nap.
Rush to answer each and every smell,
of the intruders, human or animals,
What did I do to have you as my dogs.
How do I reciprocate,
for everything you have done to me?
In next birth you be born as my masters,
but fortuneteller told me,
that this is my last birth.
Were you my masters in my last birth?

I let her know about my windfall
Yes, I have promised you my Cleopatra.
If I win a lottery,
I take you a long trip around the World in three hundred and sixty five days.
Firstly to the Mount Everest and from there to Venice as you like gondolas.
Then straight away to Egypt as I like boating in the river Nile.
And you may be surprise when you see a Mummy in a Cairo Pyramid.
An old festered king; That resembles me.
Now you believe me darling once I told you that I was a king.
But you thought I was almost drunk.
Hey! I won that lottery but they refused to give money
As I do not posses my own identity.

If trash bin could speak?
Why not?
Yes, Trash bin talks
very politely.
When I do the garbage in the gas station
I heard; 'Hey! Chum gas price goes down
Isn't it?
It seems that you're not happy
and must be tired counting money
and collecting the garbage?
If you prefer we cold have exchanged our status
But I am not familiar with those colored notes!
They never peep here? '
Then I replied him; 'Dear friend!
Your position is better than me,
when the truck comes
totally you're empty,
But I always count this mystic dirty notes
That belong to the others
And really it burns?

I Told Myself
I told myself
You do love me
Is it really true?
She asked me
I told myself
You care for me
Are you really sure?
She asked me
I told myself
You do miss me
As often as you?
She asked me
I told myself
You need me too
Are you guessing?
She asked me
I told myself
You never tell me
Why on Earth?
She asked me
I told myself
You hide a lot…
Is that friendship?
She asked me
I told myself
You think too much
Does he not feel?
She asked me
Tell me, my love
What shall I say?
To all those queries
That she asked me...
How should I answer?
What should I ponder?
Tell me the truth
For she still asks me...
You For Me
And Me For You
Is it the Future?
One last Question
She did ask me.
I don’t have the answers
Yet she keeps asking me…
May be, she knows,
One day, one moment
You’ll let her know
How you feel for me...

An interesting Interview
I was called for an interview in a Liquor store.
The Boss is short and stout
And a big Cuban cigar in his mouth.
He spat and started the conversation.
'This is a mop and you must handle it very carefully
As it's like a delicate woman, if you grab tightly
You get bad results and be careful at all.'
He gave me the mop and I mopped a certain area.
Then he smiled;
'What do you think of my smile? '
'Really that resembles me Winston.Churchill.'
'Not Hitler? '
'Perhaps if that typical mustache pasted? '
'I hope that we can work together, you drink? '
'Only when my pocket happy and sounds.'
'All right, I'll call you soon before the Christmas season.'
My old sleigh skidded in the Snow-White dream.

The Cigar
Some sigh for this and that,
My wishes don't go far;
The world may wag at will,
So I have my cigar.
Some fret themselves to death
With Whig and Tory jar;
I don't care which is in,
So I have my cigar.
Sir John requests my vote,
And so does Mr. Marr;
I don't care how it goes,
So I have my cigar.
Some want a German row,
Some wish a Russian war;
I care not. I'm at peace
So I have my cigar.
I never see the 'Post,'
I seldom read the 'Star;'
The 'Globe' I scarcely heed,
So I have my cigar.
Honors have come to men
My juniors at the Bar;
No matter - I can wait,
So I have my cigar.
Ambition frets me not;
A cab or glory's car
Are just the same to me,
So I have my cigar.
I worship no vain gods,
But serve the household Lar;
I'm sure to be at home,
So I have my cigar.
I do not seek for fame,
A general with a scar;
A private let me be,
So I have my cigar.
To have my choice among
The toys of life's bazaar,
The deuce may take them all
So I have my cigar.
Some minds are often tost
By tempests like a tar;
I always seem in port,
So I have my cigar.
The ardent flame of love,
My bosom cannot char,
I smoke but do not burn,
So I have my cigar.
They tell me Nancy Low
Has married Mr. R.;
The jilt! but I can live,
So I have my cigar.

Kidding
A figure dressed in the finest attire
That money can buy
Laiden with assets to make an impression
On a strangers eye
And he lives in a palace
Surrounded by roses in a perfect picture
Hes in deep with the shallow
Hes fading cause he cant see the sky
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you everything
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you anything
Who are you kidding mister?
Im so happy that I could sing, yeah
Nobody, youre kidding nobody
Nobody but you
A dinner with twenty people you hate
And theyre hating you more
Talking politely, its all a show
Tell me what is it for?
And your laugh is tale-telling
They follow but you know youre not a funny man
The truth is the meaning
And your life is that you wouldnt have one
If you were poor
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you everything
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you anything
Who are you kidding mister?
Im so happy that I could sing, yeah
Nobody, youre kidding nobody
Nobody but you
Yeah. . .
Such a shame, sir
Such a shame
Such a shame
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you everything, yeah
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you anything
Who are you kidding mister?
Im so happy that I could sing, yeah
Nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody
Nobody but yourself x5
Nobody. . .
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you everything
Who are you kidding mister?
I can give you anything
Who are you kidding mister?
Im so happy that I could sing
Nobody, kidding nobody
Nobody but you
Nobody, kidding nobody
Nobody but you
Nobody, youre kidding nobody
Nobody but you

Shock Absorbers, Piston, Crank shaft, Universal joint and Thunderbolt!
I love the adolescent Mechanic
Like a stunt actor in a movie
Who's never been to a school
But the little wrinch-spanner in his denim pocket
With a grand smile,
He does miracles of this oblique World.
He knows my sickness
But never give me a stress.
And I read his secret tiny eyes.

Because no spare parts for this old crock! '

Shop, she shops!
Once she constantly smiled
Bought cloths and jewelry that gave her style
Shop, shop, shop
She shopped till she dropped
Shop, shop, shop
She just could not seem to stop
Her credit was on top
Her spending way rocket up
She paid with cash or credit card
This Lady was absolutely shopping mad
Shoping malls!
Markets stalls!
Shoes, clothing, and handbags she bought all year long
Spend, spend and spend daily was her beloved song
Shop, shop, shop
She now shops like a flop
Shop, shop, shop
This lady has now put a stop
Today is different shopping expedition
This time spending with supervision
No more that crazy spending addiction
Her credit card is cut
Her goods seized, the whole lot
Today she spends, her pockets hurt!
She has become street wise
Haggling with each price
She has become precise
About what she needs and not what is nice
Shop, shop, shop
She shops like a flop
Shop, shop, shop
Her spending has taken a big drop!
This lady has now put a stop to shop!

A black Ant struggles in a pure Honey bottle!
I was scared that she could have drowned
and I tried to rescue her.
I explained that I am not from Pest Control
just a poor writer.
Then she replied; 'Yes I know that since a long time
but leave me alone here, in your words
It's a kind of attachment and not committing suicide?
And it's pure honey not like your poisonous breathing air? '
I was speechless and I write here the incident!
