A night cannot sleep
A pregnant woman cries in her peasant cottage
Infant's day is coming soon to see this magic World?
And a faraway fox howls on top of a mountain.
A stray dog barks to the Moon at a sandy beach
And a wounded soldier weeps of his deep cuts in a bush
Yet night still awakes and prays Sun to bring a mild day light!
A humble dedication to my friend Pranab K Chakraborty!
*To his dog, every man is Napoleon; hence, the constant popularity of dogs.

Forgotten Fertility Myth

a deep depression
carries monsoon again
its raining
five days at a stretch
day and night
she is wet
her chastity
waiting to be ploughed
soil so soft
to be mould in creation
plough hard
my peasant friend
pour dropp to form seed
your personal rain
would make her corny
every dream
of your personal cloud
would make her smile festive
fertile soil seeks seedling
cultivate you the peasant
cultivate hard
cultivate with care
cultivate with unending passion
She waits to bear all the pain
for a pleasure of exposing a life again

A Thief If An Old Woman
If an old woman
involves herself
in theft
it becomes very cruel
to punish her
because
she is
firstly like a grandma
secondly
her rebirth
like an infant
should be considered
similiarly, if an old man...

Write You Open
that's not my fault
when you slept for the rest of night
the field outside
dark and cool
the unknown horizon
nowhere I planked any flag
to remind you
it's the way
an alone gone
now the dawn with blazing heat
stripping you off
all your outer guard
looking through a mirrorless frame
a destiny where could go a life alone
getting laugh as lunatic
getting cry as frustrated suicider
and louding much
to find a track of beginning again
of searching
reaping
and harvesting
now you also the alone
dry your body
dry your sense of bathing
inside you go to snatch the inside
and feel this sky is not only for you
and this sky is the roof for all trees and creepers
all skin and chicks
all built and unbuilt
we the streeters
matching the sound of hope and blast
of digging and dynasty
to meet a beach of sandy thirst
no choice, no clasp
only dive to blunt expansion
of nighty ocean....

Thousand Eyes
Chorus
The night has a thousand eyes
And theyre all on you
The night has a thousand ears
Listening to your cries
Let it work its magic
Let it work its magic
The night has a thousand eyes
Verse 1
You, you had to slip away
After all that spark
You, said all that you could say
And slipped into the dark
I could not let you go
Alone into the night
I had to let you know
The magic there, in the night air
Chorus
The night has a thousand eyes
And theyre all on you
The night has a thousand ears
Listening to your cries
Let it work its magic
Let it work its magic
The night has a thousand eyes
Verse 2
You, somewhere out in the dark
Runs a wounded heart
You, stumbling in the night
In the air of after light
You take along the fears
Did you waste these years,
And did they warn you
Of the night zone all alone
Sometimes it takes a fight
To keep everything on track,
And sometimes it takes a starry night
To bring the magic back
This was the time
And this was the place
With starlight on your face
And the moon on the rise,
The night has a thousand eyes

Stray dogs
Here and there and everywhere
Stray dogs doing business
And barkedup wrongtrees
And spoiled the working
Environments.
Stray dogs have no
Commonsense not true
Stray dogs encounter
The alien.
Stray dogs safeguard
The interest
And ensure to make
The area clean.
Stray dogs welcome
Common mass
Stray dogs do not like
Corrupt class.
Stray dogs can only think
The morrows
Stray dogs have practical
Experience and knowledge
You know I know all know.

A 'i' Of You Touch Me
night is no mystery
night is dark
it needs light
to see surroundings
mystery is me
the I within
it needs
meditation
life long
more than one birth
the generation extends
to unveil
so when you touch me
I feel another 'I'
another mystery
to penetrate

A Journey Beyond Death
Pranab k c
08/2011
So nervous were my eyes
when I saw my body lied in sleep
A sweet and soft moonlight everywhere
from ocean to mountain
from meadows to graveyard
walls, roof and floor are out of existence
a light soft and sweet flowing everywhere
So nervous was my memory
can't recollect the finest tune of life
I heard so long ago before my death
can't recollect
Yet alive I was but just out of me
the body in deep sleep and I
flying without feather everywhere
from ditch to dense
from narrow to wide
no heaven, no hell
only sweet and soft light white
everywhere, in every inch of all the imagery...

If Someone asks what's the beauteous thing you have seen in your life?
Definitely I tell him or her
The Honorable Death!
Open your eyes and see that poor man
Who lies in a cheaper casket like a Cardboard box
And the loved ones around him crying?
Tax collectors, Money lenders, sympathizers
And the Landlord of his rented house
All like statues and never grumble him again.
Precious heart stopped and blood river never flows
Lungs malfunctioned and no Oxygen intake
Strange odor and ooze from the nostrils
And the color of his skin turns into pale blue
Everybody wants the burial soon
And nobody likes to stay longer with him?

Sea, Mountain And I
I went to sea many times..
watched the waves, the
virgin islands, I loved
to walk on the sand,
of the far-stretched beach....
I swam and bathed with wilderness,
but, I couldn't love any sea.
I see everyday, the mountain range,
as if they stand in meditation,
with Pines, Oaks, and Birches
tufted with their loving hearts!
The curtain of mists opens up,
with the first appearance of,
the mild ray of the Sun...
The tops of the trees smile
and greet the world and
bow to the creator for all
for them He has done.
The dew-wrapped wet leaves,
stuck to my moving toes...
The winding paths invite
me to go, to go...
Down, down I see, the deep
ditch, with sudden touch of
day light, and darkness
of the unknown mystery,
tells me the horrible truth,
death is nothing but a simple
slip from known to very unknown.
Still, I am in half love
with life and death,
so I fall in deep love with this.
Mountain works in me like
daily fever and doesn't
let me go!

I Am A Soldier's Girl
I am a girl who waits for days, weeks, months
and even years just for a single kiss.
I am a girl who cries
at his every goodbye.
I am a girl who rejoices
at his every return.
I am a girl who cuts my classes
just to be with him in few hours.
I am a girl who prays every night
for his safety and security.
I am a girl who cherishes
his every touch and caress.
I am a girl who treasures
his every tender kiss.
I am a girl who savors the smell
of his perfume and sweatshirt.
I am a girl who cries every night
because missing him hurts so bad.
I am a girl who walks alone on the street
because my man isn't here to hold my hand.
I am a girl who hates to hear lovesongs
because I couldn't help myself but cry.
I am a girl who stares at my phone
all day long waiting for his call.
I am a girl who dismisses my tasks
just to answer my phone when he calls.
I am a girl who has a big smile
when my phone beeps and I got his message.
I am a girl who stays at the rooftop every night
unwinding myself from sadness.
I am a girl who kisses the wind
wishing it could bring my kiss to him.
I am a girl who holds his photos
until I sleep and wake up the next morning.
I am a girl who defies distance
for the man I truly love.
I am a girl who patienlty waiting
for my soldier to come home.
I am a military girlfriend
who is deeply inlove with my soldier.

Havings Are Lost
My Sweet...
havings are lost
simply scratches
you nailed my soul
left its pain
possessing proposed amity
the time
the wind
the crowd
never before
so angry as
winter appears or not
wintering ambiance
the soul cry to leave
to leave the sorrows
it planted morbid enmity
havings are nothing
simply passion of keeping by self
lost its anguish
and the engraved scratches
again howls to hike undone

The Light Of Wisdom
The sun gives us sufficient light
the moon gives us moonlit night
the stars give us twinkling light
yet the cottage of my heart is dark
The Almighty is spreading wisdom light
the light so reflecting on each creature
to the bottom of heart to creature's life
to conceive the life for realisation
The cottage of my heart is yet dark
Give me your inner light and
spread thy light to all needy
this is my humble prayer only.

Hysterics,
hotchpotch & this hopeless bird
caged on the top?
Pejudical to see the faraway Horizon
