1st Anniversary
Our bodies were so near, our breath mingling in the tension, the expectation and stimulation.
Though I've never questioned you, my own heart was full of panic, an anxiety of a known refusal.
I gazed into your enchanting eyes, their mahogany big, with delicate dark flecks,
Only hardly noticeable, a small clip of an image.
You looked back at me.
And said 'Yes.'
Like a movie cliché my spirit leapt at your expressions.
So beautiful it was, so charming, so everything I'd ever hoped it would be.
Thank you.
For saying yes and giving me the best year of my life.
Here's to the next, ten, fifty, hundred years together.
With you, it would be a life well lived.
May you maintain to say yes to this immature young romantic fool,
Whose old heart and feeling,
Is eternally infatuated by you.
I love you.

I Love You
When I was younger man I hadn't a care
Foolin' around, hitting the town, growing my hair
You came along and stole my heart when you entered my life
Ooh girl you got what it takes wanna make you my wife
Since then I never looked back
It's almost like living a dream
And ooh I love you
You came along from far away and found me here
I was playin' around, feeling down, hittin' the beer
You picked me up from off the floor and gave me a smile
You said you're much too young, your life ain't begun, let's walk for awhile
And as my head was spinnin' 'round
I gazed into your eyes
Ooh I want you
Thank you girl for being a friend
And shinin' your light in my life
'cause ooh I need you
As my head was comin' round
I gazed into your eyes
And thought ooh I want you
Thanks again for being my friend
And straightenin' out my life
'cause ooh I need you
Since then I never looked back
It's almost like livin' a dream
Ooh I got you
If ever a man had it all
It would have to be me
And ooh I love you

Sorrow
I walked into the park and saw a young man sitting by a flower bed
I asked him why he looked so miserable and this is what he said,
“Sixty years ago I fell in love with a beautiful girl and now she has to die
I knew her time would come one day, but the years have just flashed by.
I knew that it was wrong to love her, but my heart ruled over my head.
I was there when she was born at home and I stood by her mother’s bed.
As the years passed I watched over her, and proposed when she was sixteen.
She was so young and beautiful then, and everyday we lived a dream.
She didn’t know that I was different and I just couldn’t bear to tell her so,
but she had suspicions as her hair greyed, and my age didn’t show.
And now my heart is breaking because I want to die and be with my wife,
without her my life isn’t worth living, and I no longer want this life.
For sixty years life has been wonderful for me and my only true love,
but soon I must take her up and leave her in the heavens above.
I don’t know how I’m going to take the woman I adore from my side.
I’m sorry for sharing my sorrow with you, ” and as he left he cried.

That Fifty Year Old Woman
That fifty year old woman
she is someones mother
that fifty year old woman
she is someones lover
them fifty years of her life
unseen by a cover.
Covered by the leaves
from the autumn trees is the grass
surrounded by blue tape
and nosey people who pretend to pass
a group of actors walk by
they have come from a history class
to make history new
with conversation with questions to ask.
A fifty year old woman
in an autumn so cold
a fifty year old woman
seen dark winter unfold
them fifty years of life
it is all we are told.
The actors, they didn't get any information
they did not get pictures
nothing known about the situation
nothing at all to discuss
fifty years of age is all thats said
on the morning paper on the fifty bus
thats all thats said
a fifty year old woman, shes found dead.
That fifty year old woman
shes not someones mother
that fifty year old woman
how she had no lover
them fifty years of life
unseen by a cover.
That fifty year old woman
she was quoted in the paper today
that fifty year old woman will be gone tomorrow
the writers they will show no sorrow
because its the way things work
as people pass
she no longer lies on grass
shes covered in dirt.

Young And Beautiful
So young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
U're so young and beautiful
U're so full of life - everybody knows
That's why they try 2 take advantage of u...
but u don't have 2 do what the other ones do
U're so cool - the world at your feet,
they only want ur virginity
Keep ur clothes on and ur chastity
until u find the one that's worth it baby
So young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
U're so fine my heart's just pounding
If I had the chance 2 lay u down,
I'd probably take a rain check 'til next summer
cuz I don't wanna b like all ur other lovers
young and beautiful
young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
I'm hippin' u 2 the game darlin'
so that u'll always remain
young and beautiful
young and beautiful
oh yeah

Rain, Roses, and Medicine.
What is a rose?
But a a simple flower with a fighting spirit and a diversity matching that of humanity.
But they behold beauty like the crowning masterwork who's life has been full of masterworks.
That is why you are my white rose, pure, innocent, with heart, and breath giving.
And rain,
Some say they are the tears of an angel.
Others believe they are a gift from up on high.
In truth I can't make heads or tails of it.
Just like you. so unpredictable and free.
Being everywhere, and yet, just out of reach, how you make me feel about you.
Finally medicine,
Everyones heard the small meaingful simile I about to make.
It's overused, created by some great artist long ago...it's a cliche.
But it's my final cliched metaphor to you, a last bid of why and how I love you.
You are like a medicine, healing me.
A vitamin keeping me strong.
A bandage holding me together.
That, however, was not my last I love you.
Rather the start of a line of many more to come.
What would you say back?

I Walked Last Night In A District I Lived In For Almost Twenty Years
I WALKED LAST NIGHT IN A DISTRICT I LIVED IN FOR ALMOST TWENTY YEARS
I walked last night in a district I lived in for almost twenty years
I came back after being away for a time
To visit an old and ailing friend
The streets were empty and lonely as they often were then-
I thought for the first time I understood how lonely the district itself is-
‘A lonely district’
I wondered how I managed to live there all those years
And how anyone still manages to live there-
I looked up at the sky and wrote in my mind a small poem of a kind I wrote many of in my years there
I remembered teachers and friends who had lived there
No longer of this district or any district on earth
I wondered how life goes and how from so many years so much life has been lived without having any place in my memory
I felt as empty inside as the district without
I did not have to wait long for the bus
And relieved inside it I put my heart to home
So many years had been lived there
I remembered taking my small children to the playground there
Now they thank G-d have children of their own
Oh the years go by and the life we have lived in them largely dies
Forever to be unknown again-
I put my heart and mind in a different direction
And began to do what I always do – not think of the district again
Life is this mystery and question we live through and never wholly possess even as we are experiencing it
How long before all will be gone for me
Including the district I live in now?

Romantic blue.
Romantic blue.
Babe don’t go now, I mean you can hate me tomorrow but don’t leave me alone tonight; I don’t want to be feeling lonely under this romantic blue night.
Hold on to a hope that still alive inside of my heart that you won't go out of my life.
Look to the stars that reflect in your beautiful brown eyes that I love to see them close when they are flying free into a dream, and sometimes I wonder, what you dreaming about?
So now lay down with me and put your head on my chest, so you can hear my heart singing a sweet song to apologize to you.
Tonight under this blue romantic sky, I want the stars to be witness that I love you with all my heart, because you are the reason why I’m still alive

The Clock of Life
You fought for my freedom.
I lived like a slave.
You gave your life for me.
So I could be saved.
From a life lived for myself.
More was never enough.
The things I thought made life easier.
But it just made life tough.
Keeping up with the Joneses.
Of my treasures I’d boast.
My material possessions.
Were the things I loved most.
Not the gifts that you lent me.
But the treasures I earned.
Now I see just how Satan.
Wants me to get burned.
Keep your eyes on the prizes.
Let your gifts pay the price.
For all your heart it goes into.
Holds you tight like a vice.
It will squeeze your life from you.
You’ll leave God behind.
You don’t realize that Satan.
Is robbing you blind.
Once he has taken it from you.
He will take your last breath.
And what once was a gift.
Has now become death.
He keeps you in your past.
Makes you think of tomorrow.
And this takes your today.
Time it cannot be borrowed.
For it’s all that you have.
And it is what he will take.
Til your heart is so broken.
That your spirit will break.
Life lived for your body.
Or lived for your mind.
The truths of the earth.
Keeps your spirit confined.
Your love is your time.
Your heart ticks like a clock.
And when it is over.
Your time it will stop.
When it is finished.
When you are gone.
Will your spirit die too.
Or will it live on?
Spend your time very wisely.
And in others invest.
This is what the Lord tells us.
And our Father knows best.
Live your life by your spirit.
Body and mind they will die.
One day they’ll be buried.
But your spirit will fly.

Every Woman Has A Name
You were so beatiful
Like a child so young and full of life
Seems a hundred years ago
You saw everything
So much more tragedy than good
You eaven watched the world blow cold
And eaven when you're world was shaking
Eaven when you're breath was taken
Eaven when you're blue eyes turned to grey
Small town debutants and queens
Every woman has a name
Cocktail waitresses with dreams
Every woman has a name
And every girl who's loves survives
A broken heart to stay alive
You signed you're picture in the frame
Every woman has a name
You had your love affair
Some were perfect but most of them we're pain
Seems a hundred years ago
It took you to the highest hill
Left you standing frozen in the rain
But you still feel the afterglow
And eaven when you're world was shaking
Eaven when you're breath was taken
Eaven when you're blue eyes turned to grey
Housewife's crying on the phone
Every woman has a name
Sacred sisters all alone
Every woman has a name
And eaven on the coldest day
When the kids are gone, moved away
It's loneley now, there's noone there
To hold you're hand and play
I see it written on the grave
Every woman has a name

A Beautiful Romance!
Shelley and Keats are wind and beauty;
Both are fond of love and do anything
That lasts forever in hearts of lovers!
Romance and love are beautiful ever
In expressions of great poems of theirs
No one can fail to note even if tasted once!
What a force that still carries to their realm
Love that still lives immortal even after time!
Nothing can stop its sway and absorbs all....!
Romantic life of love is adventure wonderful,
Full of spirit ever absorbing and electrifying
Not only the players but also the audience!
No love is love unless it has essence of romance
As the base for beautiful take off to heaven sure!

Die to Live
My identity is questioned
My existence is questioned
Questioned to erase me
From this globe forever
By my own creators
My heart beat increased
I am really frightened
Felt lump in throat
I hadn't noticed tears
I looked for a hug
A hug for support
To back my identity
To back my existence
But I have no one
To support with hug
So I'm backing myself
In my well of loneliness
For my own existence
And my perishing image
In hands of a tyrant
I may lose my image
And existence forever
Whatever may happen
I will fight the tyrant
And will die with honor
So at least my name remains

You Are My Inspiration
YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION
Stirring are the waves of ocean
At the sight of full moon
So are my feelings and emotions
Seeing your smile in full bloom
Jumps with joy with life’s aspiration
Knowing that you are my inspiration
Dancing are the bees feeling romantic
Seeing the buds blossoming into flowers
So is my heart feeling exotic
Seeing your lips of sweet nectar
Skips a heart beat in expectation
Knowing that you are my inspiration
Singing are birds feeling the joy
Seeing the spring ushering new season
So is my soul soaring high
Seeing your cheeks made of orison
Gives me the feelings of adoration
Knowing that you are my inspiration

Our Sixty Years
Well, they said that we would never last, yet, here
We are, two relics from the past.
We out-survived the skeptics who had said
Our marriage would be doomed, if not misled.
But, sixty years have passed and we have proved,
That we together, heart to heart, improved our lives
With each successive year.
We have endured the substances of living.
The salve of love has healed the wounds of life.
You, by your sweet constancy, lifted up and drew
From me my best, and I, the more, did grow.
How happy those fond days, how fast they go.
Often I would travel back along that old
And traveled track, as when we were so young,
Those early days when I, so serious, attempted
To apply myself to jobs of meager worth,
So proud of my supply to family gain.
We, together, shaped the spirit of our future.
We draped ourselves in living veils of feeling,
Breathing the fire of life into the embryo of hope.
How rife were we with expectation. Now, in the
Contentment of our age, our arena is our own,
Through which we meet the future, without fear
And with strong hearts, still together,
Facing the splendor, as revealed through
The pending dusk unto the Light.

The Beautiful Romantic Space
Her heart is a beautiful romantic space
Her friendship is a divine love- message;
Is unforgettable flow of ecstasy
And invitation with bliss-giving beauty;
Is pleasant like simple and plain expression
Is tasty like creamy curd;
Shares companionship and makes mind serene
Lovingly caresses that sweet romantic space;
Such cooling is not available
In Ooty, Kodaikanal or Darjeling
Even doing penance in Himalayas
One can not attain such loving place;
The love and care of my beloved
Are natural flows
Resemble cuckoo’s melodious voice;
Her friendship is full of aesthetics
With her wide eyes she obliges affectionately
And gives alms of Bliss with grace and concern;
Her honey-filled lips speak sweet words
And her youthful body is full of treasures;
Her pretty face fills my thoughts
And always I dream about her;
That romantic space
Shares delicate touches on tender beds
And provides ecstasy of blissful union
And never lacks in anything;
Her body is delicate as flower
And sweetness pervades her every portion
She showers love and affection
And presents with warm hugs;
Her smile is brilliant as the shining stars
Her face resembles full moon
She stars in my heart
With her beauty and love;
Her romantic space is balm to disturbances
Her friendship is like moonlight
And she joined hands for nearness and intimacy with me
Causing exhilaration to me.

A Cinderella Story' vs Reality
There is a girl and a boy,
Connected only in cyber,
Never met,
Never phoned,
How long can it last?
It is like in the movie ‘A Cinderella Story’,
Her friend said.
The girl loves him so much,
She cannot took her mind off him,
She waits in front of computer every night,
Waiting for her Prince Charming to greet.
They have known each other a year,
They lived very far apart,
It is like one is up there,
One is down the globe,
Can it last?
She wondered.
One day,
Her Prince Charming said those magical words to her,
She was barely able to breathe,
She was the happiest person on Earth,
But Prince Charming loves her as…?
On one beautiful night,
As usual,
She spent almost hours and hours in front of the computer,
Wait till Prince Charming to come,
But he did not,
She was a bit upset,
She wrote to Prince Charming,
‘You love me as what? ’
Prince Charming replied her the next day,
‘I love you as my girlfriend’,
‘Will you be mine? ’
For God’s sake,
She was absolutely wanted to be his,
‘I sure will’,
It was the best day of her life.
So, there it was,
For her,
She hopes her story does not end just like that,
She will wait for her Prince Charming,
To come to her,
In reality,
Not just in cyber,
Even if it take 100 years.
She wanted them to see,
She wanted him to take her hands,
She wanted to dance in the rain with him,
She wanted to feel his warm,
She wanted him for sure,
She will wait, she swore.
A Cinderella Story?
It is different with her story, she thought,
It is just the same,
When it comes to how they stay connected.

Almighty, Please Give Me Beautiful Heart!
When I look into your eyes,
Reflected image of my being,
there I found my eyes,
My eyes found themselves in yours!
When your eyes shine,
How can I believe myself,
When my image is so small,
What growth may make me,
great in your eyes?
I imagine what may be my size,
if that small lens capture half world,
Is image large when you are so near,
your image cover whole world,
I can't see anything but you,
My eyes are blind to world!
But you look at the world,
how much I can be In Your eyes dear?
I was able to lose myself,
Trying to find myself in you,
Is it love or simply a madness,
Am I mad with my own desire?
Your eyes captured my image,
But with eyes you captured my soul,
By being is lame,
It can't walk,
Only sit where it is,
Absorbed in own calculations,
Absorbed in dreams and expectations,
My soul is not where it should be,
Gone out of my body,
It goes wherever you go,
Trying to measure your footsteps!
Strange enough, you are unmoved by me, Moved my soul,
like unmoved mover of souls,
Is it love? If it is, then what is use of this love,
Is it only to make me feel strain?
is it only to add more pain?
Why can't Almighty,
Give that beautiful heart,
Which can see and feel beloved within?
Please, Almighty, give me a beautiful heart!

If We Could Love
If we could love
If you could love even for a day, then your life would be happy and gay. For love has no boundaries and no walls blocking what you feel
for the love in your heart is the love that is real.
Give of yourself like you’ve never given before
and the feelings will last forever more.
let the love boil like water in a pot
till it boils over and never stops.
It’s like the ocean with a bottom that you never see
and a top which is as wide as can be.
Look into your own heart and search the feelings out
for this is what life is all about.
We live one life in this world
and we try to live it to the best that we can
And it matters not if you’re a woman or a man.
This emotion is the greatest thing
that you could ever imagine
Because it builds up from the bottom of your stomach
and climbs up to your head
a beautiful feeling that you can never dread.
you’ve searched all your life for that special feeling
not knowing that it was staring you in the face
and it’s not like a gift that’s wrapped up in ribbons and lace.
Look into the eyes of the one that you love
for the eyes will tell you that it’s coming from above.
This is the most beautiful gift that any person can receive, and when
It is shared with people that you may not even know.
Then it is a blessing that GOD did bestow.
The greatest gift that GOD is giving
is love which makes life worth living.

Painted Eyes and Ears
All my life I walked around
with painted eyes and ears
Never really seeing what was right before my eyes
never really hearing, the shouts, the screams, the cries
the pain and anger and humiliation
was too much to bare
so I buried it deep down inside
what I saw and heard in fear
I walked around for all those years
ignoring my pain and fears
and closed my heart to all who cared
cause the guilt was too much to bare
then one day I saw a light
that made me think again
of when I was a little girl
before the shame and pain
along the way I was helped by many
who cared for me in vain
cause I still lived in fear
and hid away my shame
and then the lord appeared to me
and came into my heart
and then my family one by one
help stomp out the dark
so now I say to those I love
I thank you from the heart
for taking all my fears away
giving back to me my heart

Religion or Life
Religion I hate, Life I love; one’s from earth the other from above,
The Life I love is from God, while religion is from this earthly sod.
A religion of earth leads to death; Life from God is eternal breath,
New Life is given by Christ Jesus, as religion will only mislead us.
Religion, call it what you may, distorts Truth from God’s only way,
The way provided to all of us, who in God’s Word place their trust,
New Life from God, in His Son, regarding truth, is second to none,
For religion truthfully has no part, in truly changing a sinner’s heart.
Religion can make us feel good, creating a common brotherhood,
Filling life with religious stuff, but salvifically it doesn’t do enough.
It doesn’t reach the heart of men, inspiring them to be Born Again,
Through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, who alone offers men New Life.
Religion can fill a need on earth, but, eternally men need new birth,
We need to be born spiritually, to have new life with God eternally.
All religions on earth my friend, with the world will come to an end,
While all who have Life from God, will live beyond this earthly sod.
Religion comes in many forms, and around men’s ways conforms,
While God’s Only Way is higher, with Eternal Life being His desire,
Which will be granted to all of us, who, in His Son place their trust,
A Life far above all man’s ways, while giving to God eternal praise.
