A Mothers Love
A mothers love is suspose to be unconditional
mothers are understanding and helpful
mothers are there when you are down and then they brighten your day
A mother keeps her children safe from harm
a mother listens when the child tells them how they feel
a mother isn't suspose to yell, raise a hand, or condemn them
A mothers love is suspose to be unconditional and understanding and forgiving
so if there is a mother who dosen't agree with none of these things, then my question to you is why? ?

No one bothered reading the books and understanding - and again, I'm not being high-falutin' about it - but I think our books are great literature with great metaphors of real life dealing with fears and hopes.

when you do not understand
that is the time you say you like it
when you tried to understand and still could not understand what you try to really understand
that is the time you say there is a mystery and we have to be prepared to
worship it, for something mysterious could be angels, could be God
understanding is understanding like a mother
she comes to you to reveal things
though slowly and you must be patient like a child
understanding is loving like a father and you must be like a son waiting for
the final advice
but you love more the things that you do not understand
things that mesmerize you and give you the sense of awe

Early Works - Understanding
With a little understanding and humility,
this world would be a better place for you and me.
Instead of bullets, bombs and rockets
we’d have love between our neighbours and families.
Instead of death, destruction and misery
we’d have outstretched hands of friendship
from stranger we did not know.
No cause is worth the death of one man
no matter what that cause may be.
For love and understanding
is all anyone ever needs.
When all the bullets and bombs are gone,
what kind of world will be left,
the answer lies within ourselves?
Within our faith and understanding,
we must look at our enemies
try and understand their plight.
Not with weapons of mass destruction,
but with hope and understanding
that they have rights like us,
then maybe one day
we’ll all live under an umbrella
of peace and harmony.

Little Did We Understand
Little did we understand those things ahead, when my love and I first did meet.
Of snow white sand and foaming water lapping at our feet.
And sunny days searching for that treasured shell.
We roamed the beach, lovers, me and my best pal.
Little did we understand the burning sting of tears.
And the whimpering cry of the hurt we heard through the years.
The salty taste of tears as they dropped from eye to lip,
And the stain they leave as on to the cheek they slip.
We won't forget the sunsets deep orange and bright.
How they hung upon the horizon, and then dramatically fell from sight.
We would look into the starry host with love in our eye,
And watch the multitude as they danced in the sky.
Little did we understand the workings of a child,
Consequently mistake upon mistake we piled.
But it must be said we did some things right,
We have four wondrous babes of great delight.
The Lord could take me home this night,
To His kingdoms palace bright.
My understanding is still painfully short,
But I'll be able to tell Him of my love for you as I report.

Some Mothers Son
Some mothers son lies in a field
Someone has killed some mothers son today
Head blown up by some soldiers gun
While all the mothers stand and wait
Some mothers son aint coming home today
Some mothers son aint got no grave
Two soldiers fighting in a trench
One soldier glances up to see the sun
And dreams of games he played when he was young
And then his friend calls out his name
It stops his dream and as he turns his head
A second later he is dead
Some mothers son lies in a field
Back home they put his picture in a frame
But all dead soldiers look the same
While all the parents stand and wait
To meet their children coming home from school
Some mothers son is lying dead

Often I try to understand about you

Time To Share
Once we are saved and truly Born-Again,
The question may be, is what to do then?
With a heart filled with love and lead by The Spirit,
We share the Good News with all who will hear it.
The Good News to share is the Gift of Salvation,
To be shared with every tribe, tongue, and nation.
This Gift we receive, is truly one of a kind,
It is the only Gift that opens the eyes of the blind.
Yes, those who were blind and once trapped in religion,
Heard the Good News and made a life changing decision.
The decision that they made gave them a New Birth,
A Miraculous one that comes from no place on earth.
This New Birth comes from our dear Lord, in heaven above,
And once we are born-again, we are filled with His Love.
His Love fills you with a desire to share this Good News,
And understanding the times, there's not a moment to lose.
This Gift is by Grace alone and found through only One,
Through our Great Lord and Redeemer, God's only Son.
Time is very short and tomorrow may never be,
So today is the day in which to help blind men see.

Why do we fight both black and white
