Wounded Liars

May we lick the wounds of liars
To qualm their furious outpour;
Pouring from their veins are words
Too strong, too fast and talkative.

The liar of strength shall prove his prize
To be at the centre of the Earth;
Find him or herself to proudly batter
With the sportsman’s trick, a good punch.

May licking the wounds be doubted
By the ones who defeat, who conceive
Different thoughts and ideas so solid
And illness-filled, too much has event.

Sonnet: Words Can Wound

Wounds of the flesh and of skin do occur;
Bruises and lacerations can recur;
By intervention or on own, they heal;
Wounds of the human heart are tough to deal.

But wounds that words may produce in one’s mind,
Cannot heal early, we always do find;
The boneless tongue is the reason behind;
Good or bad words costs alike and they bind.

’Tis wise always avoiding the bad word,
That can wound much more than the sharpest sword,
To cause non-healing wounds in any man;
Trouble among nations and men, they fan.

So, hesitate to use the wounding word,
To use the soothing word, men can afford.

Decorations

My only medals are the scars
I've won in weary, peacetime wars,
A-fighting for my little brood,
To win them shelter, shoon and food;
But most of all to give them faith
In God's good mercy unto death.

My sons have medals gleaming bright,
Proud trophies won in foreign fight;
But though their crosses bravely shine,
My boys can show no wounds like mine -
Grim gashes dolorously healed,
And inner ailings unrevealed.

Life-lasting has my battle been,
My enemy a fierce machine;
And I am marked by many a blow
In conflict with a tireless foe,
Till warped and bent beneath the beat
Of life's unruth I own defeat.

Yet strip me bare and you will see
A worthy warrior I be;
Although no uniform I've worn,
By wounds of labour I am torn;
Leave the their ribbands and their stars . . .
Behold! I proudly prize my scars.

Now Came Death

I slowly and quickly overcame death,
Its grasp was hidden from my soul;
At first this initial request came from energy
This way and that, licking the wounds as of now.
Victory meandered in the pathways of justice,
Kicking and pulling the thoughts so solid,
On a sloping ground it hurt.
Then the faster you walked they disagreed
As of now, as if solutions of water and other solvents
Converged and diverged when the wetness
Occurred, as of now.

Dreams

Dreams come in any shape or form
With a positive or negative outcome
You got to believe
In the ideas you conceive

Dreams come and go
Let your thoughts flow
You got to believe
In the ideas you conceive

Dreams can suddenly explode
From novice to advanced mode
Dreams can be boring or be fun
To be real they all need to be worked on

You got to believe
And live with the ideas you conceive
You got to believe
If you give you will eventually receive

Dreams are special
Dreams are emotional
But many a dream
Is only attained as a team

Endless Dark

Softly the light shines in through
Gates of grace on me and you
Deceiving our restless hearts
A flickering flame so serene
It fires the night so we could see
Feeling alone so strong
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
Lovely the light shines on you
Through the gates of fire entombed
Feeling on your own
Weak is the blaze that kept me away
From cruelty and tenderness embraced
Saving my soul no more
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
I know where I belong
Away from you guards
That heal our wounds in life,
This endless dark
The shadow on you that tamed your burning heart
That buried my truth right into your arms
The words of the tomb of I fall on lone
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark

Hide Me In Your Wounds

Hide Me In Your Wounds

By your wounds, I am healed
Healed in running away from internal strife
In giving up when there is still something to give

Your precious wounds gave me the love
When I wanted to give love
And the beauty and receiving grace instead of misfortune

By your wounds, I am healed
I am a survivor, a winner
I sing a new song in my heart
I witness the breaking of a new dawn each day

By your wounds I am healed
I believe that any storms in my life shall pass
And live my life one day at a time

By your wounds, I am yours
To teach, to guide, to revive and to forgive
I have forgiven myself, as I have forgiven others who caused me pain

Thank you Jesus..for those wounds
And hide me forever…

Sonnet: Healing Wounds

The wounds of flesh can heal by drugs and care;
Remove agents opposing healing act;
Excision by doctors is something rare;
Yet, nature heals most wounds with time and tact.

The wounds by words of mouth are slow to heal;
The damage caused is incredibly huge;
The pain and misery, we always feel;
In God, we ultimately take refuge.

The tongue can speak most cruel words that hurt;
The ‘bone-less mass’ can move like fox and snake;
It craftily produces lies like dirt;
Consoling words and sounds too, it can make!

Man hurts by words in ways unpredicted;
God heals the wounds of hearts, man-inflicted.

Peace in War?

So you sharpen your knives
You also oil your guns
What is that grenade for?
I see, you have a jungle jacket,
How smart?
Tell me, would you heal the wounds?
The wounds,
That gape and stare at you,
The wounds that wouldn't let
A nap over your eyes.
Wounds that would hollow your heart,
Dripping bloody soiled hands
That would make your seeds
Sprout with fright to the wound?
Tell me,
Was it for peace?
Now agape. Why?

In These Poems That We Write

these are the wounds of the heart
let your fingers pierce that part

blood drips from a wounded heart
pain gleaming against the light

time has not healed the wounds
you can hear the screaming sounds

these are the wounds of my heart
we are not many miles apart

we share the wounds of the heart
in these poems that we draft

Dysgenics

Think you've got the control?
A string of words I've heard before
Tread the path, walk the line
You let yourself believe the lies
Your whole life is just an empty shell
Abandoned soul, angel from hell
Eyes fixed on you
I see your thoughts pierce the darkness
Words flow from the wounds
Bring to life the lifeless
No image can replace, the dark fall from your grace
Dreams last as long as it takes to remember
They always fade
When all is said and done
You'll see that there's still only one
Pain you caused, hate you filled
There's not much left of you so called will
So now you look, and now you find the truth in a cesspool of lies
Wake up
You're in disorder
Wake up
You've got nothing to give
Eyes fixed on you
I see your thoughts pierce the darkness
Words flow from the wounds
Bring to life the lifeless
No image can replace, the dark fall from your grace
Dreams last as long as it takes to remember
They always fade

Rolled in last night to the dawn, the porch, and both our floodlights no excuse but we were having such a good time why, oh why cant I just walk the straight and narrow so ashamed b
Ll do it all again tomorrow maybe youre the only one that sees anything good about me anything good about me I found a friend to get the number just to call you line was jammed I trie
Tried, but could not get through all these calls to warn you of my scoundrel heart but these walls and still they cant keep us apart chorus and I promise to take care and love you
You promise to keep seeing anything good about me . and I swear sometimes theres asphalt running through my veins and let me go and never ever pull my reins and Ill return with cuts

Stripped the gloss from a beauty queen

Found our nest, in the daily express
Met the vicar in a holy vest
Punch and judy

Brought up the children church of e
Now I vegetate with a colour tv
Worst ever thing that ever happened to me
Oh, for d.i.v.o.r.c.e.
Oh judy
Whatever happened to pillow fights
Whatever happened to jeans so tight, friday nights
Whatever happened to lovers lane
Whatever happened to passion games
Sunday walks in the pouring rain

Punch and judy
Punch and judy

Curling tongs, mogadons, I got a headache baby, dont take so long
Single beds, middle age dread
Losing the war in the waistlands spread
Who left the cap of the toothpaste tube
Who forgot to flush the loo
Leave your sweaty socks outside the door
Dont walk across my polished floor, oh judy
Whatever happened to morning smiles
Whatever happened to wicked wiles, permissive styles
Whatever happened to twinkling eyes
Whatever happened to hard fast drives
Complements on unnatural size

Not Yet Down

I have wounds too,
Like you do.
Some just take too long
To heal they hurt
For many years,
The pain they birth
Have dried my tears.

I have scars too,
Perhaps you do.
Seems Life's battles -
They do not end
All these struggles
Where Lessons lend
Insight and some truth
There lies the fruit.

I am tired and weary
Like you, maybe.
And yet I find
Strength to punch back
One more time
In Life's Ring
Stand up
And fight!

Till I'm black and blue
But
Not
Down.

Don't forget

Whether it love, attachment or infatuation
Remember and don’t forget me in any situation
You may not know how much I care and love you
I take it as sacred to that the name of the Thou

Is it magnetic pull, internal feelings or divinity call?
Person may not mind jumping even high wall
He is sure of everything except his own down fall
Life game is set in with colorful rolling ball

No one knows who will offer blow or first kick
No hard hitting with sweet promises to stick
If no success in life then hard wounds to lick
What will be left other than words to speak?

I have strong apprehensions in mind
Life may turn cruel and will not be kind
Journey may on but on parallel track
Joy and happiness will never be back

I wish to fly high and touch endless blue sky
Wings are strong enough but won’t be able to touch, why?
Nothing seems to be unfavorable but still may elude
Dreams may be scattered without any prelude

I can face the storm and swim rough sea
I can judge calmness, under current and see
Possible future struggle to get something new
Will it be possible if make concerted bid to renew?

Can you reassure me you shall definitely wait?
Withstand all the pressures and never be late
Embrace me with pure love and not with hate
I shall crash against solid wall or Iron Gate

Your words may infuse new lease of energy and strength
I shall have enough will power to go at any length
It will always remind me of bright hope next day
I shall have endeavor to see future possible way

I may not be able to miss you even if you miss
It will constantly remind of hollow words or promise
I shall die not because of dishonor but with disillusion
Life will be living hell with simple hollowness and confusion

It is how I see the future for both of us?
Many bad thoughts may cross mind and influx
It will be very hard to sustain possible blow
Life may inch toward death not fast but slow

People may not want us to unite
Inflame the passion and slowly ignite
I may sustain any blow or cruelty
It will be then slur on part of beauty

It will not be easy to forget and forgive
Life is not commodity to take and give
It has divine bonds to last for ever
Remember always and forget never

Its Not Over

I'll say what you won't
Why because your afraid
Their just ratings
Their just of those people your hating
Faking for the sake of entertainment
That is what you become
Sellout by what they want
Look at me as I flaunt my you know what
I just honestly don't care
Let my words hang in the air
Let critics come
For ill be waiting
Ready for the debating
When it begins
And words flung
I'll expose every flaw I got
This is what I've been taught
With honesty I'll undress myself and show the world
Then I'll say now what did you prove
be careful with words you choose
because I have nothing to lose
I've already fallen so far from grace
I've done so many things with disgrace and distaste
But when I believe in something
I won't give up when under attack
Here let me turn around so you can dig your claws in back
What that's not how you expected me react
Well stereo type that
I've been held back for to long
And now I've been given wings
I'm so ready to soar
Even as I'm licking my wounds so sore
The war of the worlds
Some are out to destroy
I'm out to stop you any way I can
With a mission of the damned
With my blood soaked hands
I done more then my share of hurting
But only if for the greater good
Never stopping and question if I should
I've come to far second guess myself now.
So when I take duck my head and bow
Its not over
Its not over

Pouring Water On A Drowning Man

You push me when Im falling
And then you put me down
I guess I missed my calling
I should have been a clown
How much more
How much more can I stand
Youre pouring water
On a drowning man
You put me on the right track
And then you put me down
You stab me in the back
Everytime I turn around
Criticize my lovin
When Im doing the very best I can
Youre pouring water
On a drowning man
Youre pouring water
On a drowning man
You treat me like
The fool that I am
You bet that I like everything you do
Put salt in my wounds
Its sad but its true
You warm me with your kisses
Then you leave me in the cold
How can I know your wishes
When Ive never been told
Wont you please forgive me
Just try and understand
Youre pouring water
On a drowning man
Youre pouring water
On a drowning man
You treat me like
The fool that I am
You bet that I like everything you do
Put salt in my wounds
Its sad but its true
You warm me with your kisses
Then you leave me in the cold
How can I know your wishes
When Ive never been told
Wont you please forgive me
Just try and understand
Youre pouring water
On a poor drowning man
I got tears in my eyes
Oh, Im a drowning man
I got tears in my eyes
Youre pouring water
On a drowing man
Youre pouring water
On a poor drowning man

As it was in the Beginning

As it was in the beginning, so we’ll find it in the end,
For a lover, or a brother, or a sweetheart, or a friend;
As it was in the beginning, so we’ll find it by-and-bye,
When weak women hug their babies, and strong men go out to die.
As ’tis written now, or spoken, so we’ll find it yet in deed—
For their State, or for their Country, for their Honour or their Creed;
For the love of Right, or hatred for the Everlasting Lie,
When the women think of some things, and strong men go out to die.

As it used to be in past times, in the future so it must,
We shall find him stretching forward with his face down in the dust,
All his wounds in front, and hidden—blood to earth, and back to sky,
When pale women pray in private, and strong men go out to die.

Rebels all we are, and brothers—rebels to the laws we make—
Rich or poor, or fat or lean man, fighting for another’s sake;
It is all as God decreed it—we shall find it by-and-bye,
When our girls, disguised in boys’ clothes, go to die where strong men die.

1. One

I am trying to find my poetic rhythm.
Pen my flow of thoughts.
Words running through my mind,
Ideas running through my mind.
Incoherent, Scattered and disjointed

I am trying to make words and ideas one
Create a world of words, in this world of chaos
Words running from one end
Ideas running from one end
On a path of collision

Ideas and words unite, one
One, the beginning
One, the universal beginning
One, the number of the gods
One, my first poem
