Useful Troops

Useful troops are pronouncing their names,
Loosely clasped, eagerly submitted;
Let the chase be on, let them come to the kitchen
So that worries disappear, so that replies are cast.
Resenting them is the heart and all its blood,
Pumping iron and redness, like the books.
Audible and sensible, the words are spoken,
You are a blacksmith, a yoke is frowning at me
For it was once a chick, from an egg.

Too Many Cooks In The Kitchen

Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Theres too many minds on the job
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Everybody wants a piece of the action
Cooking the books and getting their fractions wrong
What we need is law and order
Everybody knows
Cant have chiefs without the injuns
Stepping on their toes
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Theres too many daps in the pie
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Everybody needs a place in the rat race
Playing games of power, its only a cat chase
Too many too many too many etc.

Love Is A Little Word

Love is a little word,
but it fills the world with happiness
when it is spoken from the heart.
It coveys a feeling of joy
of being close to someone.
Sometimes it is not spoken
in audible words,
but in gestures between two
who have so much feelings for one another.
It is never about
how small the word,
but the feelings it conveys.

Soshana

i have spoken my lines
that is what i am told to do

and you have spoken your lines too
and that is what they are telling you to do

you cannot be my comfort
distance are not arms and distance is cold like ice

your words are mere words like faces without names
i have spoken and you have spoken

now i am going back to sleep
it is done.

Why is there Oil?

Why is there oil I asked one night,

and a startling answer came into sight.

It’s Mother’s Earth’s blood, that is what oil is,

It’s Sacred and my blood to share.

Be wise in your pumping

Man is not to do wrong with this blood,

For it’s not to be shed so humans end up dead

for here is what she seriously said:

“You are pumping the blood right out of ME,

Which makes ME very Sad,

The spilling has greatly affected

My Land

and my Ocean,

Which has caused a commontion
.
There is a better way,

Let Your

CONSCIOUS take the LEAD…

…Please take heed.'

Stones

Stones of the future are like diamonds,
Glistening in the moonlight of our wishes;
Youth will be harder still until the world has ended,
My hard stones are like a conquest of a kingdom,
They manage to occupy the place of worship
Once considered to be the only serious spot.
Rubies are red due to certain lights
We require.
The colour of red is beautiful as blood,
Its redness is tailing, frowning, giving.

Eternity

eternity is a trap
no, go chase the horizon
go chase tomorrow
go chase time
go chase the end of thought
or go back a step
with the the egg or chick first theory
the world is created
for a chasing game
round and round and round
the starting point
is the final point
eternal grace

Chase Me, Chase Me

Chase me, chase me,
Chase me like the wind!
Save me, save me,
Save, don't get me ruined.
I wanna thee,
It is my plea….
Don't leave me alone,
All along, Oh! Me.
Chase me, chase me,
Chase me as the wave.
Roll me, roll me,
With thy love to save.
Swing me, swing me,
Swing my pumping part…
Touch me, touch me,
With your touch of art!

Submit

I have submitted to
what I should not have submitted to;

taken at times
what was not mine.

I have subscribed to
what I knew
was not true;

yet remained quiet
still;
afraid.

I've carried water
for that Other
while weak from thirst myself.

I've cast my eyes down
from exhaustion
and looked away
when I shouldn't have.

Yet
in all this
I have never faltered
from loving you.

Never once has your light
left my face;
my heart
from this home and space
we've shared.

My weaknesses
true
are many;

but my love for you
is my Monument-
and I'm Yours.

The Time For Words

The time of my end approaches
As the words of my soul have unleashed
Their meaningful worries and delights
For everybody in this living age.

I once found miseries, and more profound
Worries, after the period of doubt.
But words picked my heart with claws
As I worried less of distinction and cure.

To foresee is a look of happiness,
Finding time is happiness for all,
Yet insight is with the tongue
So the words will bite the very heart.

When I think of you.......

When I think of you
I forget my physical pains
Miseries and worries
Take a backbench
In my mind
My mind feels light
Hearts starts pumping
More blood
I enter a dreamland
Where there is nothing
Except love
Love and love
I feel
I am deep in meditation
I feel as fresh
The air in the mountains
Solace becomes my
Fortress
Heart contented
So tell me
Why I should not
Think about you

A language least spoken...

Its not just a cast of words,
a play of rhymes,
an irony of thoughts,
dreamed up hyperboles,
or a medley of figures of speech.

Its a poet's heart,
his only companion,
his muses, his love,
grave pain, agony,
a written laughter.

Its a poets mirror,
in which he shows himself,
his vision,
a sight for the blind,
his thoughts,
touching your lives.

Poetry:
Its though a cast of words,
but uncannily placed in a language,
a language with the same grammar,
but still; least spoken.

I Won't Leave You

I won't leave you,
as I know you can't leave me!
When I was about to think,
worse about love,
you came then in my life!
We made a world with our
two hemispheres-
I hear the beat of your heart,
in my heart's every beat.
I know you can feel mine too...
You read my heart-felt words,
which I leave on my poems.....
You never asked for whom,
my heart beats, my blood flows...
Never did you tell harsh words,
or, ask about my feelings!
I'm tied with a bond.
If you set me free I won't fly.
Twelve years are twelve minutes
to me now, as if you have just
married me, and I'm getting in your
house to get the fresh fragrance
of your soothing love-
Eagerly waiting to hear from
you, the three words-
I Love You..................

Will Silences Not Speak?

WILL SILENCES NOT SPEAK..?

&

will silences not speak? -

if they have spoken..

why then these queries,

'why is he not speaking? '-

when even his own voice

has become alien to himself

seriously doubts he his own utterances-

have we not seen the dust

settling slowly, steadily and uniformly

on glittering surfaces-

likewise silly thoughts on his heart-

in the prolonged hours of wintry nights

are we not familiar with dew pearls

sitting prettily holding hands snugly

on the palms of the leaves?

likewise are not my dumb words?

but when and which sun would translate

my voiceless words into audible realities?

Watch My Blood Rain

The blade looks enticing
It's difficult to explain
The ideas of slicing
Watch my blood rain

The cut is deep
Some say I'm insane
It puts me to sleep
To watch my blood rain

The redness is real
I cannot refrain
I know I truly feel
When I watch my blood rain

I sit and I cry
Life is nothing but pain
I ask myself why
I watch my blood rain

My spirit is bound
By this ball and chain
My soul has been downed
Then I watch my blood rain

The anguish is true
My heart has been slain
One day I'll break through
For now I'll watch my blood rain

Song for Roxalie and Seth (Running)

running away
that's all I ever do
though I never thought
that I'd ever be running from you

shadows fall
across my soul, across my face
I wish that I could just come back
and take my rightful place

but my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue

dreaming
that's all I ever do
but I never thought
that I'd have to just dream about being with you

pain is lurking
behind every twist and turn
but even after all I've been through
I guess I just never learn

now my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue

please come back, we'll make this right
just take away this endless night
there's no reason to add up the score
we were both wrong, I admit
I don't blame you for calling it quits
but baby I'm not running anymore

now my heart is racing, blood is pumping
can't believe I'm always running
away from my tears
because I never knew
my thoughts are whirling, head is spinning
can't believe I'm just beginning
to realize all you mean to me
when you're around my skies are blue

please say I can always come home
to you

Rags & Old Iron

Norman curtis, oscar brown jr
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
I heard that old rag man now making his rounds
He came right to my alley lord with sorrowful sounds
Crying rags old iron and pulling his cart
Ask him how much hed give me for my broken heart
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
So I asked that old rag man how much he would pay
For a heart that was broken baby when you went away
For a burnt out old love light that no longer beams
And a couple of slightly used second hand dreams
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
For those big empty promises you used to make
For those memories of you that are no longer sweet
I wish he could haul them off down the street
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
When love doesnt last tell me what is it worth
It was once mamas most precious possession on earth
When I asked that old rag man if hed like to buy
He just shook his head and continued to cry
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
Rags old iron rags old iron
Rags old iron rags old iron rags old iron

Missed Right Here

That letter I wrote to you last year?
The one that said I wish you'd disappear?
You are missed right here and it aches my heart...
I wish I could take back what I started
To part us to see you departing!
If I knew I could say how miserable I am,
You would understand that.
And I would open!
If I knew that from first words spoken!

That letter I wrote to you last year?
Did not make clear my love for you.
Or was it too clear and that is why you split?
Just because I said, 'Kiss my ass and I'm out of it! '
Was not meant for you to go!
That's why I say you don't know me at all.
That's why we reach these crossroads,
And becomed stalled!
How can we overcome torment and raging fits...
If you leave me all alone twitching in a fit!
I thought you loved me?
You would always be with me,
When I went ballistic! And I've missed it!

That letter I wrote to you last year?
The one that said I wish you'd disappear?
You are missed right here and it aches my heart...
I wish I could take back what I started
To part us...
I did that to see you departing!
If I knew I could say how miserable I am,
To you
As I hold back tears ready to drip
From my eyes.
And from my eyes I could see that yours are open.
You would understand that.
But I fear to hear first words spoken...
That may leave me choked up and heartbroken.
