To Abhor The War
To abhor him sides with evil looking people,
Ablutions are made by the priests for their prayers.
To abhor them is to love them, in ways of good,
For therapy arises for the able, the good in ways.
Priests spoil the time when they fight, fighting prospers
Inwardly, too considerably, like a mound of water and ice.
Marching, the cavalry sends itself through the waters of the land,
A camcorder calls its picture to us in a campaign,
To carry music when aloud and allowed,
The battle of the men of war is afire, with abhorrences,
War measures too supreme by the commander of the forces.
It will escalate beyond our vision, to abhor priesthood is wrong;
It is a comet of warriors that the priest is abhorring.

Groom your mind, not the face.

You are viewed by your attitude,

All The Wrongs
No really
Literally
I think I love you
You make me so excited too
When I'm around you I just want to sing, sing love songs
But I can't help but consider all the wrongs
I don't know if I love you, girl I don't know what love is
When I look at myself I'm disgusted 'why would anyone be his? '
Aren't you? even if not, if you saw what I see
Wouldn't you hate me?
I don't understand, I don't want to talk to me...but you do
It almost seems like you care too
I'm just not good enough for you, this is all I got
Just not
But there's so much more
Yes there's a lot of me to abhor
But I'm also not ready
I just cant handle being in a relationship,
I'm not even comfortable being me
I can't even get a grip
But there's so much more
Yes there's a lot of me to abhor
But also what about faith
Do you believe what I do?
Can I have fellowship with you?
What about the deepest relationship of all
We have to share that or we'll just fall
Even if you do, I bet I can guarantee
The problem again is me
I'm not ready, we'd be unequally yoked, because I'm well, I'm me.
But there's so much more
Yes, there's a lot of me to abhor
I don't want you to love me
I desire your love more than I desire life
And yet I want YOUR life to be rife
With happiness and true love, can't you see
Since I love you I don't want you to love me
Since I love you I want someone else for you
Since I love you I want what's best for you too
That's not me
So Since I love you (or so I convince myself) don't love me.
But there's so much more
Yes, there's a lot of me to abhor
But also lust
Maybe it's excitement, maybe it's really sinful, sorry to disgust
You, but I desire you
In a bad way too
Not often, and surely this is why I hate myself
But there are times when I allow these desires just to engulf
Me, they take over, and so your looks get in the way
Because you're gorgeous, but I want to love for who you really are
Can I really do that? With my scar?
I want to really love you I say...
Really, I want to love, I don't want this lust, I can't separate the two
I'm sorry, I don't know if I could ever make it up to you
I'm sorry, so sorry for the lust
I'm sorry, so sorry, sorry for me.

Maryknoll
Women priests are not allowed no matter how loud they scream,
They fired one priest already for going along with their dream,
So the Catholic Church takes this serious and no women priests allowed,
Though some priests may have been pedophiles; this is never said out loud.
Some Maryknoll fathers and brothers liked this women-priest notion,
They didn't realize this idea would cause such a commotion,
Though the Church of England has had women priests for years,
And some of them may one day be bishops without many fears.
I don't know much about this whole religious painful affair,
But I think it's time for a change in the real world out there,
This is the twenty first century with the Internet all around,
Not the fifteenth century where we had to knuckle down.

One Woman's Perspective
Is it that men love to kill?
It must be that they've lost free will.
Can't a boy grow up to be kind?
It must be that he's given up his mind.
Don't all men know how to cry?
Some have to wait 'til they see their buddy die.
Can't a boy grow up to abhor death?
They abhor it when they take their last breath.
The boys I raised learned the golden rule.
So maybe it's the mothers that play the fool.

All's Fair In Love and War
Who said war is civilized,
What idiot made these rules,
It was probably politicians,
That bunch of sad old fools.
Our enemies wear no uniforms,
We are dressed and on display,
While we advertise who we are,
They just go on their merry way.
We train them in the art of war,
Treat them as our friends,
Then they turn round and murder us,
Their evil then transcends.
They blow us up without a thought,
We're told, oh that's allowed,
But if we dare retaliate,
The enemy cry out loud.
There needs to be an inquiry,
Killing us is so unjust,
If you're allowed to fire back,
You won't see us for dust.
Terrorists are all around us,
They could even be you or me,
It's time our so called leaders,
Were brought out here to see,
Our enemies send in children,
We are not allowed to shoot,
We know they're going to kill us,
But our enemies are so astute.
When we kill our aggressors,
The world is in a fury,
We're then charged with murder,
Then put in front of a jury.
If they murder our brave forces,
It's just another dead,
Then when we defend ourselves,
The world goes off its head.
They can murder us for fun,
Yet no one says a word,
No courts or cries for justice,
It really is quite absurd.
If we could fight the same as them,
These conflicts would never last,
The enemy would cry foul,
Then get the hell out fast.
But we must fight a ‘'civilized war'',
We must ask before we kill,
We must follow Geneva convention rules,
While our enemies do what they will.
We must be given equality,
To fight this brutal foe,
If we can fight the same as them,
Then very soon they'll know.
We are not an easy target,
Now we can fight the same as you,
There are no rules of war now,
We can kill just as you do.
You'll no longer know your enemy,
So you'd better watch your back,
For when you least expect it,
That's when we'll attack.
Then soon you'll hear them crying,
This war's no longer fair,
We don't know who our enemies are,
Because of what they wear.
When they see there are no rules,
No restrictions on how we can fight,
They won't know what hit them,
That's when they'll see the light.
They'll then shout out that's not allowed,
Your tactics we abhor,
But we'll just say we're copying you,
‘' All's Fair In Love And War''.

You must show the world that you abhor fighting.

Clean Like That
Freedom from dirt is of washing up,
Spreading the tablecloth and being fine.
Use the handkerchief on the people who work,
A tainted one shall require us to laugh aloud.
It is not one hundred percent, not entire,
To jostle and abhor the freedmen.
We are polished from good soap,
Snowy and sought by men and women.
This place is dewy and fresher than most,
As much as a daisy, and no longer a creature.

Catholic Priesthood and ‘Year of the Priests’
‘The sheep are calling;
The flocks are swelling;
Good shepherds are a dearth,
Upon the mighty earth! ’
All sheep need good shepherds;
Sans shepherds good, they are mere herds,
That cannot find the pastures green,
With grass that’s fit on global scene.
Good shepherds know each sheep by name;
They do not work for pay or fame;
They know the wolf’s, many a game;
Their staff protects the sheep that’s lame!
Priests are the good shepherds of God;
They woo the souls away from rod;
They serve by being celibate,
And show humanity, God’s Gate.
They say the Holy Mass each day;
They preach and fast, fervently pray;
They drive the devils out, away,
Suffer for Jesus, come what may!
They change bread to body of Christ;
They change the wine to blood of Christ;
They forgive sins like Jesus Lord;
They tell the world the Divine Word.
Priesthood is one of sacraments;
Priests know the Old, New Testaments;
Their work is worth more than all gold;
They bring more souls unto God’s fold!
This is the ‘Year of Catholic priest’.
Lord Jesus waits with His great Feast;
Happy are souls, even the least;
God saves all sinners from the Beast.
Priests take vows for a divine role –
To lead souls to God’s Abode – goal.
Those worldly ones are merely fools!
God chooses priests to be pure souls.
‘Priesthood is passion great for Christ –
The profession that’s one highest;
The goal of men who are wisest –
Who live for Jesus’ sake, diest.’
Dedicated to all Catholic Priests world-over,
On behalf of ‘Holy Family Church Parish, Perundurai, TN, India.

Sonnet 150: O from what power hast thou this powerful might
O, from what power hast thou this powerful might
With insufficiency my heart to sway?
To make me give the lie to my true sight,
And swear that brightness doth not grace the day?
Whence hast thou this becoming of things ill,
That in the very refuse of thy deeds
There is such strength and warrantise of skill
That, in my mind, thy worst all best exceeds?
Who taught thee how to make me love thee more,
The more I hear and see just cause of hate?
O, though I love what others do abhor,
With others thou shouldst not abhor my state.
If thy unworthiness raised love in me,
More worthy I to be beloved of thee.

The Next Poem In The Prison
The seed of war grows well,
On the farm of hatred;
I abhor wars,
Though my victory be certain;
I abhor enforced exodus,
And the camps too,
The camps peep out of my eyes,
I am in search of
Absolute peace and liberty,
My search winks at me.
I am with peace,
And my fate is isolation,
I shall write,
The next poem in the prison.

Devastation
I see wonders in this country never seen,
I open my vision tonight, in this country.
We are something of grandeur, often delighted
By the lies we acquire and abhor in this dusky nation.
Then dusky nations with bleak landscapes
Carry magnificence, to expend the riches of their soil.
My innocence remains tightly with my soul
As my commune absorbs ill-health, wrong weather
Finding us in rhythm with this poem.
My colony collects burden from magnificence,
The real country condemns the cathedral clad in evil
When the country finds its cavorting of bears
And the devastation of the plant kingdom.
My own landscape will appear jagged
Compared with another land of beauty.
I wonder all the time, with a broken nose
And a broken mind, and I observe the changing times.

Dr. Evil
Evil, evil is his one and only name
Evil, in his mind there is no other game!
When your name is Evil, that is good or so you think,
but you're so very wrong.
It's evil!
But being wrong is right, so then you're good again,
wich is the evilest thing of all...
Do you find his sudden ways, invite you? does he excite you?
If his contradictions should atract you, should he distract you?
Heaven help you then...
You're finished, it's the end...
There'll be no retrieval...
From the evil...
The evil,
he will
do.
He's evil,
he's Doctor Evil.
His name is Evil.

Life of a Roman Catholic Priest
A priest is nearest Christ;
A priest is Christ at times;
A priest is almost Christ;
A priest is most divine.
A priest is God’s shepherd;
A priest must tend to flock;
A priest must be like ‘rock’;
A priest should ne’er defrock.
A priest communes with God;
A priest draws hope from Lord;
A priest shows love of Christ;
A priest carries His Cross!
A priest is tempted too;
A priest has falls in life;
A priest falters also;
A priest has strength from Christ.
A priestly job is tough;
A priest’s life can turn rough;
A priest has strife enough,
But has to smile and laugh!
A priest helps harvest souls;
A priest has many roles;
A priest has but one goal –
To drink from Christ’s own bowl!
Pray that more priests should come;
May priests curb their freedom;
May priest usher Kingdom;
A life for Christ’s welcome.

I Do Not Want To See Religion Dancing With Politics
so ugly to look at
as religion is not a good
dancer always stepping
on the shoes of
politics
i abhor them getting married
at people's expense
for soon
what they shall beget
shall be
hardheaded children of the
self chosen gods
and spoiled lectures
about heaven
and hell

My Father's Chair
Parliaments of Henry III., 1265
There are four good legs to my Father's Chair--
Priests and People and Lords and Crown.
I sits on all of 'em fair and square,
And that is reason it don't break down.
I won't trust one leg, nor two, nor three,
To carry my weight when I sets me down.
I wants all four of 'em under me--
Priests and People and Lords and Crown.
I sits on all four and favours none--
Priests, nor People, nor Lords, nor Crown:
And I never tilts in my chair, my son,
And that is the reason it don't break down.
When your time comes to sit in my Chair,
Remember your Father's habits and rules,
Sit on all four legs, fair and square,
And never be tempted by one-legged stools!

I have decided: Finally.
My family donated me to mother church, a priest to be.
Because no one consulted me, I had no chance to disagree.
So in due course I was ordained and found I’d lost more than I gained
The church had educated me. I’d won a double first degree
My parents did what they thought best they acted in my interest.
There was no way I could protest. Though I must say I’m not impressed with the way that things were done and recently I have begun.
To realise resentfully my future was mapped out for me.
I am expected to repress the normal feelings I possess.
A problem which all priests address. I am a man no more no less.
I am quite certain that I would not have chosen the priesthood.
I have decided that I should quit the priesthood and for good
The practice of celibacy seems quite unnatural to me.
I am convinced a priest should be free to have a family.
The church has made a grave mistake expecting every priest to take
A vow which causes so much heart ache. I must resign: Make a clean break.
To earn my living honestly in some profession where I’m free
To wed and raise a family. Celibacy is not for me.

Saints An Sinners
(coverdale/lord/moody/marsden/murray/paice)
Get ready for judgement day
An the final curtain call,
Dont lie when you testify
cos the good lord know youre all
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves,
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves
When moses stood on the red sea shore
Laying the law on the line,
He said dont come knocking
On the pearly gates
If all you did was have a real good time
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves,
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves
For what we are about to receive
May the lord make us truly thankful.
Saints an sinners
I stand guilty of a thousand crimes,
An I suffer temptation still,
Show me a man who wont give it to his woman
An Ill show you somebody who will
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves,
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves
For what we are about to receive
May the lord make us truly thankful
Saints an sinners,
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves,
Get ready for judgement day
An the final curtain call,
Dont lie when you testify
cos the good lord know youre all
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves,
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves
For what we are about to receive
May the lord make us truly thankful
Saints an sinners, priests an thieves
