The Moon Is Still

The still moon was light enough for centuries,
Work rid the Earth of slumber, music and abilities.
I found in the midst of all tragedy in the world
A great sight of poverty, full in curiosity that unfurled
The carpet most pure for the lame and rich,
Egotistical behaviour missed the ditch.
I say on a month too merry why the sun was hot
In that day and night to celebrate a jackpot.
The luck ran a hundred miles on my legs,
Without breakfast, with energy and eggs.
The moon was our very satellite to read
Like a book, or a puzzle to solve indeed.
For years I have written these words, and on and on,
Fierce worship causes us to forsake the dawn.

Budha Purnima: The Super Moon

Today the moon is bright
In the sky a great sight
Very very soon in the night
Enjoy the sight with full delight
It's one of the celestial phenomena
Widely known as Budh Purnima
After the name of Great Gautam Budha
The great zen master of the world
Whose words were more valuable than gold
Today the moon becomes brighter
For it approaches more closer
The moon appears a bit bigger
The special full moon is called super moon
Enjoy the moonlight in the season of monsoon
From the busy life, take some time
Enjoy the look of moon in its prime
Celebrate the Budha Purnima
Enjoy the heavenly phenomena

Blue Moon Any Moon

IF your lucky to fall in love under a
Blue Moon, you will be lucky they
only happen every 2.72 years
But most lovers do not have that
on the mind, any moon if the mood
strikes, will be all right
.
Love has been known to bloom
under any moon.
And on any given night.
Blue, Silver, Harvest, Ice Moon
there's fourty different kinds
You only need one to fall in love

Some love to just sit and watch the
moon and stars, others will gaze
at the moon while laying on their back

Mothers will read their children
'' GOOD-NIGHT MOON''
before they tuck them in
at night

On a clear night a full moon
will shine so bright, nature will
use it as her night light.
Its never out of your sight.

The moon is the second
brightest thing on earth
with sun being first.
You shine so bright how
can it be? .
When your so far? .

Turlough Carolan

He was blind and illiterate that much of him we know
And still his music is with us from centuries ago
He had creative genius and his genius still shine through
A rare gem Turlough Carolan one of the chosen few.

The harper of the county Meath in music live today
His music known around the World in Countries far away
And Carolan's concerto still very much alive
The only test of genius is when their work survive.

The only test of genius is when their work live on
For centuries and centuries when they are dead and gone
And Carolan has passed that test a name to celebrate
His music live three hundred years the genius of the great.

A son of peasant parents and destined to be poor
And though addicted to alcohol his genius remained pure
I like that saying it says it all 'can't keep a good man down'
And the name of Turlough Carolan was destined for renown.

I just switched on the radio to hear the D.J. say
This is a tune from Ireland from Ireland far away
Carolan's farewell to music, oh let the music play
The music of the harper the harper lives today.

Electric Light

When the great Bulwer's pen did trace
The history of the coming race
His hero to us he hath unfurled
The glories of his new found world.

This bold traveller be did venture
Far below our world's centre ;
He entered through an ancient mine
And to us doth new world define.

Once all was discord and fierce jars,
Continuous engaged in wars
Till they discovered great vrill power,
Then wars did cease from that same hour.

Mighty bolts from it were hurled ;
Would soon have laid waste the world ;
So for world's preservation
At once they stopped desolation.

All wars by them are now despised
Unfit for nation civilized ;
Their peaceful glories they do sing
And fly on artificial wing.

Great blazing artificial light
It ever burns both day and night,
For they have neither sun nor moon,
But radient, always 'tis high noon.

When we beheld the glorious sight,
High in the air did shine so bright ;
It seemed that it could banish night,
Great refulgent electric light.

But after all, 'tis children's play,
Compared with the great orb of day,
Or when the moon it doth shine bright,
And stars do beautify the night.

Here Comes The Moon

Everybodys talking up a storm
Act like they dont notice it
But here it is and here it comes . . .
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Impulse always quickens when its full
As it turns my head around me
Yes it does and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Gods gift I see thats moving up there into the night . . .
Though dark the mirror in the sky reflects us our light:
Looks like a little brother to the sun
Or mother to the stars at night
And here it is and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Breath is always taken when its new
Enhance upon the clouds around it
Yes it is and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon.

Celebrate morning
The cry of a loon on a lake in the night
The dreams that are born in the dawn's early light
Celebrate morning
Celebrate living
The laughter that sings in the heart of a child
The freedom that flies at the call of the wild
Celebrate living
Celebrate evening
The stars that appear in the loss of the sun
Whispering winds, we are one, we are one...

Discover The Universe

Eggs are falling! Eggs are falling! !
Of blackberries, strawberries and rasberries;
The man with the Bible is about to read.
Of the walking-talking Bible,
Of red wine and candle lights of hope!
Discover the universe by learning the unknown.

Eggs are falling! Eggs are falling! !
The world is with much darkness around us;
Where, a teacher always becomes a student.
Of the half-moon stables,
Of the full-moon houses,
In the middle of St.Pauli with my words;
This universe is full of new things to learn from.

Of the lines of poetry,
Of the acts of love and peace;
Eggs are falling! Eggs are falling! !
Of red rooms of roses,
Of blue rooms of love;
Respectable to a muse so sweet like,
Roses of the night!

To walk through the Saxon forest like,
An art by the mile;
From dusk to dawn like,
An African in blue!
A poem by the yard,
Of fried potato-chips and fish;
To walk along the Elbe from sunrise to sunset.

Along the ykes of love,
Alpong the muse of one's heart;
These are the views of the walking-talking Bible with,
Everyone on board! !

Full Cold Moon

This night
All light
Full still moon

Lamp lit
Silhouette
Full still moon

Many faces
Secret places
Full still moon

Supernal eye
In the sky
Full still moon

Big stone
Cold Alone
Full still moon

In reverie
A memory
Full still moon

Only one
You are
gone

Only night
to dream
upon

Full

Cold

Full Moon And Me

There's a full moon above
and the one that I love
is taking too long to respond.

Can't he see in the night
how it shines in my sight?
Or has he forgotten our bond?

The first time we kissed
he told me he missed
the glow of the moon way beyond.

There's a full moon once more
but my heart is so sore
for I think he forever is gone.

For a Lost Poem

Dedicated to the poem 'Moon Light' that was written a few years back.

For a Lost Poem
A poem written long ago –
disappeared on the face of the earth
as if it never existed – but somewhere
beyond this skyline it did;
where the moon sits, and shines its light –
this poem has been erased from history,
from where it was put into storage.

Oh poem, I feel a loss for you!
Where have you gone? Oh where have you gone?
Moon Light, once many people read,
and praised me for such delicacy,
now she is gone too.

As if death has to come with:
the darkening sky, oh ye poem –
ye selfless poem come back and
let the light shine upon you.
A poem has gone, but where?

The Illuminated Stone

Once there was a rock
holding onto a Blackened sky

'Twas one night when
moon said to Rock
Let me light you...

'No' said rock
'this can not
for I am but a stone,
that was thrown
and landed in the sky.'
'It frightens me here Moon
for see' said Rock 'I cannot fly'

'A Stone? ' laughed Moon 'You need not fly
for you rock, you are a star'

'NO said Rock
this I'm not
I'm ordinary by far'

Moon shone bright
and shed his light
on Rock
and in no time it appeared
that rock might just be
the star Moon predicted,
so here was Rock
still in shock
for everyone started to stare.

'Moon stop that light'
asked Rock
'for you don't understand
I really am just a stone
and a ugly stone I am'
Rock knew of all the
sharp edges and holes and shreds,
caused by much erosion,
for stones are not pebbles
small and smooth,
that lays in soft riverbeds.

Moon grew fond
of Rock
and spent night after night
talking to Rock,
all the time shining his light.
Rock looked past Luna's flame
and found there something plain
this made Rock feel safe with Luna
and started feeling lighter night by night
and as time passed by
Rock and Luna became one
outshining even Sun.

Moon as all man knows
is a bright shining fellow
full of Romance for lovers
and a light for a traveler's road...
he even turns the tides,
but a little known fact,
is that Luna is the cause,
of mental Lunacy.
If this you doubt,
just walk on a full moon's eve,
into a Looney house,
for there you'll perceive
just what happens,
to many who have
one to many times to much,
by Luna's light been touched.
Ask even the howling wolf
who warns, on full moon nights
his fellow wolverine canine,
not to much at full moon stare.

One day perchance,
Rock found this little factling out
and realised how so many, many
laughed at Rocks illuminated faults,
so Rock tried with all Rocks might
to get out of Luna's pure light,
but everywhere that Rock tried to go,
Luna would send his burning flame
illuminating more and more
of Rock's stone of shame.

Rock tried for the longest time
to get away from the Luna once so dear,
but one day Rock began to fear
that Luna will never stop
and that day by day,
Luna's light was not just
illuminating mistakes,
but eroding even more
ugliness into the already unsightly Rock.

One day after much wiggling and fight
Rock came loose from
the blackened sky
and down to earth
Rock tumbled
Rock back to earth did fly,
a hump of burnt out
starlight stone,
and came to rest within
a selfmade crater.
Rock cried and cried
for Moon she missed
but knew that Moon's light
was deluding, not just everyone else
arround it, but most all
the Lunatic man
living on the moon.

Moon Rises High Into The Sky
The Moon Is Gray
The Moon Is Bright
The Moon Is Full
Every Night The Moon Comes Out And Goes Down.
The Moon Shines Onto The Earth.
Brightens My Path.
I Look at The Moon And Say 'Moon Light Moon Light Bright My Path As You Shine My Way'
The moon Looks down And Shines My Path.
I Walk To The Pond And The Reflection of The Moon The Moon Is Beautiful And Bright.
The Moon Will Never Disappear.
The Brightness With Alwayz Shine My Path.

God’s Lights

Morning’s painting on the sky above, covers this earth like a glove,
Clouds covered by the sun’s rays, filling earth with abundant praise.
With yet another day to unfold, of God’s wonderful Glory to behold,
The beauty fills hearts and minds, with awe for God’s grand design.

Before the sun is overhead, God paints the clouds a gorgeous red,
This as He moves earth out of night, into the brightness of daylight.
At times the sunlight He shrouds, hiding the sun behind the clouds,
Clouds God paints upon the sky, as wide and vast as they are high.

Although the sun is hid from sight, God keeps it there till fall of night,
Then it’s truly veiled from all eyes, by the ever darker evening skies.
When God shows us another side, as He allows the daylight to hide,
As night’s ushered in by Heaven, God’s lesser light starts to descend.

Now under an ever darker canopy, with lights far as the eye can see,
And the moon above phase by phase, to count both nights and days,
God starts with a new moon friend, with the full moon at month’s end.
This is how God lights the skies, above a world that is filled with eyes.

Lights placed above for all to see, by the hand of The God of Eternity.
The Greatest Light we cannot see; The One who died for you and me.
The Light of Christ soon will shine, from the Eternal City for all of time,
No more need of the moon or sun, for the only Light will be God’s Son.

The Man in the Chinese Moon

Both Zhang and Tao, and Wang and Chen
They stare at the Chinese moon,
For the fifteenth day of the eighth month
They’ve waited and prayed at noon,
They’ve thought of the woman whose name is known
And written in script and rune,
They ponder her beauty and sinuous shape
As they stare at the round, full moon.

While on some hill, four girls sit still,
Their eyes raised clear to the sky,
They sigh and dream at a cold moonbeam
As they flush, turn red, and cry,
The book could tell them their future loves
But the book is held on high,
And even the children that wait to be born
Are written in ink that’s dry.

The man in the Chinese Moon, Yue Lao,
Is known to them, every one,
He keeps the book under lock and key
Lists every daughter and son,
Writes every lover before they’re born
Their partner, and every swoon,
Then beams and frowns as their wishes sound,
The Man in the Chinese Moon!

Struggle with Darkness

The sun set and it was being dark,
A pitch dark night had fallen,
No light was there nor any spark,
A star shone at all of sudden,
And found all his friends sleeping,
He went and tried them awake,
One of them got up from his sleeping,
And asked why he made him awake.

Asked him making the earth light,
Cause there had fallen a dark night,
But, his reply was then shown,
'What can be done, O friend! Alone?
Without the moon we are what?
Against the darkness can't be fought,
Let's go to awake our moon
The earth may it light up soon.'

They both reached the moon and found,
The moon was lying on the ground,
And appeared, she was not fine,
Cause she had drunk the evil wine,
Unfair gifts had she been given,
For shining not in dark night,
Forgot she, her duty at all of sudden,
And let the inhabitents of earth fight.

The moon ordered them to go and sleep,
'What's the use for them weep?
We'll be given gifts for this deed,
And on duty we find nothing indeed.
'Second' of both agreed with the moon,
He went and slept very soon,
'First' was worried, but nothing spake,
And he put himself at stake.

He went respectively to each stars and;
Requested them to get up and shine,
Initially they were afraid being mixed in sand,
At last they all accepted his wine,
All of them when began to shine,
Like the ornaments of the sky,
The moon felt a tasteless wine,
On herself she was shy.

Getting up, the moon begged sorry to all,
And she shone at full of her might,
Lighten up was every mount, forest and wall,
And became silver the whole sight.
This revolution if on the earth befall,
No country would be worried but delight,
Be alive, no of your leaders can thee enthrall,
But know the deference between Black and White.

Moon Tribute

World of the night
What a wonderful sight
Moon white misty or silver
Senses can start shiver

Luna Lune Lua or Moon
Any kind of love might bloom
Luminous shadow streak
Over the lakes water peak

Sit meditate enjoy the sky
Dear one you are allowed to cry
Full Moon sooth and milky
Touches on skin soft and silky

Moon tune why be blue
Feelings can come so true
An embrace in your arms
Moon kiss wont harm

What a wonderful sight
Misty silky or milky
Moon is the eternal light

Love season

You passionately kiss the world
with your bright rays
one can evidently tell that
the moon and the earth are in love
despite the distance between the two
the affection, tenderness, can be felt
by those that dare to feel and watch the two

They whisper words to one another
the earth whispers how much she has missed the moon
and nodding in affirmation the moon embraces the earth
draws her closer to him and whispers ' i love you'
kissing her chic the earth melts more into his brightness
and tenderness like a child.

This is the best of the months the time to love
and be beloved, lets join the moon and the earth
into the love making and dance together in celebration.
cheers to you Mr., Moon, cheers to you Mrs. Moon! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Come To The Moon

Come to the moon
By: jimmy buffett, michael utley, will jennings
1984
Full earth tonight
And mars is big and bright
All our friends are flying in
Its such a lovely sight
Gravity never could hold me
That is what you always told me
You know me
Chorus:
So come to the moon
I hope to see you soon
Half a million miles isnt far to go
You know I need you so
I hope you still need me
So come to the moon
The starships leaving soon
Until then Im wishing on every star
That you will be here soon
Come to the moon
Those crazy martian days
When we went separate ways
Through time and space wed find a place
To bring our lives in phase
Were lost amid the galaxies revolving
And were all just a part of whats evolving
Evolving
Chorus:
So come to the moon
I hope to see you soon
Half a million miles isnt far to go
You know I need you so
I hope you still need me
So come to the moon
The starships leaving soon
Until then Im wishing on every star
Wondering where you are
Come to the moon
Chorus:
So come to the moon
I hope to see you soon
Half a million miles isnt far to go
You know I need you so
I hope you still need me
So come to the moon
The starships leaving soon
Until then Im wishing on every star
That you will be here soon
Come to the moon
Come to the moon
