Sin To Astound

Replicate the sin to astound God,
Our genes shall spread forming lakes of indifference.
My sin is not huge, not huger than what partakes,
In this existence lies the cure to all ailments.

The ale and beer must be hazards for some,
But most consume the liquids completely.
Sin is measured by the pencils of neglect,
Inside the little book of sin is hidden your name.

All greatness of character is dependent on individuality. The man who has no other existence than that which he partakes in common with all around him, will never have any other than an existence of mediocrity.

Why?

I wonder for an arrest to be argued
To leave a man without his job,
With his job, without his job,
With his job, without it,
Or shall I say he read my letter
And threw it away for the telling
Of payment to be made by me.
Shall I state I have a profession
Inside of which my task is huge,
And huger still. It is the worry of late
Why I am in trouble.
For somebody has sentenced me to life
For being a liar, and an open one.

From These Genes

It is from these genes,
From which the genius beems.
It seems to create delicious dreams.
Like the juice that flows to taste familiar...
Yet so sweet.
It's too much to keep it hidden.
Or fabricate its comfort.

It's from the planted seed that's nourished.
To grow, bloom and rejoice the moment!
And it's good...
When it is seen that way!
And better when it isn't.

It is from these genes,
Within me to encourage...
Self,
With a desire to grow.
And to know what I can...
Or can not do.
If I just go ahead and do it!
To prove it to myself.

It is from these genes...
That I have taken so much for granted!

Letters And Words

I may twist a word into shreds,
I may even curl them for humour,
But never will a sentence come of absurdity.

I construct dozens of stories that bite,
Inside them words after words collect
For the hazards of life, for expert knowledge.

I read their letters for meaning,
International work has progressed,
Forming the new alliance, so examined.

Woe Here

A sombre and woeful day has arrived for life,
Inside me I speak, and often we stay like spears;
Outside the hazards outlive us, for the storm,
And arrest us O Sun for the acts offered by life.

A woe has arisen on this daylight hour,
Forming hours of enjoyment, of living energy;
Guess the adjustment understood by some,
How guessing is erring I do not know.

Happy Doctors’ Day,2008

All doctors are not demi-gods;
No doctor is miraculous;
All doctors are human beings,
Who help the sick and try to cure.

But doctors deal with human lives;
The profession’s noblest of all;
The Healer is Almighty God;
The doctor is His instrument.

The world is rife with ailments new;
The doctor strives his best to cure;
The doctor lessens suffering;
The miracles are done by God.

Yet, newer therapies have come;
The future for patients is bright;
Let people be more health-aware,
And live lives longer happily.

‘A Happy Doctors’ Day, ’08! ’
Pray God gives cures for more ailments;
The body’s, mind’s health stands foremost;
The doctor is like you, human.

House Of The Gods

Finally found a place they could never reach
Sipping singha beer on pattaya beach
Singha beer dont ask no questions
Singha beer dont tell no lies
Singha beer dont ask no questions
Singha beer dont tell no lies
Theres a guy next to me wont tell me his name
Buys me mekong whiskey just the same
Singha beer dont ask no questions
Singha beer dont tell no lies
Singha beer dont ask no questions
Singha beer dont tell no lies
Im just a wally
Hanging out on pattaya beach
Im just a wally
Hanging out on pattaya beach
Met a girl said shes really going to blow my mind
She says she dont mean sex and I say alright
Turns out shes a bloke, tries to give me head
I have to run out screaming to the street instead
Shes just a wally
Hanging out on pattaya beach
Im just a wally
Hanging out on pattaya beach
Singha beer dont ask no questions
Singha beer dont tell no lies...
In the house of the gods
Where no mongrels preach
I watched the sun going down
On pattaya beach
Im just a wally
Hanging out on pattaya beach
Im just a wall
Hanging out on pattaya beach

Hidden Talent

Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Just like a person from another world
My eyes can see inside you, little girl
I see things that you dont want to see
I see things youre trying to hide from me
Im just trying to make you understand
All the ways you can affect this man
From the moment that you came in touch
With the power there to burn so much
Youve got hidden talent (yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
You know your past is whats been bugging you
If youre ready girl ... do what you gotta do
Look for your life between the lines
Bad directions and poor designs
Youve got hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out you ... got it, hidden talent, oh
With the advantage of perspective i
See theres more to you than meets the eye
But now the time must come to spread your wings and fly
Yeah (hidden talent) yeah
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out ... you got it, hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Affair without warning
Hidden talent, mmm (mmm)
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
(fade)

Not In Situations Like These

You must accept,
Keeping your eye on them.
Has loyalty and trust,
Completely close up your suspicions?

Has your luck been jeopardized,
By freely tossed flying lies?
And those folks don't know why they despise,
Or don't.
Their genes have them in motion.

Have you ever been introduced,
By resumé and name?
Latest footsteps you've made.
Where they were laid,
And who was impressed?
And quickly you scan over yourself,
To either approve or make excuses,
About how you are dressed.

'I don't usually look a mess! '

You must accept,
Keeping your eye on them.
Has loyalty and trust,
Completely close up your suspicions?
Probably not.
Not in situations like these.

Our Ever Thirsting Ignorance....

one does not go out into the open fields
to carry a book
read and pour upon all interests
in a picture
of birds and trees and
lakes,

one goes out into the open to watch a flock of birds,
homing
to a tall leafy tree
and hearing them all chirp
or sing

one goes into the sea to sail a boat
fish,
or swim and see the colors of the corals
or feel a school of
rainbow fishes

one finally leaves the book to its place
between the shelves

out there into the open fields
lies the unending pages of days, the lessons that no word
or groups of words
can ever trap,

for real knowledge like fish in the ocean
like whales
so huge, and slimy
always escape from our grasp leaving us the sound
that till today
shall mesmerize us
in the continual mysteries of
our thirsting
ignorance

Knowing More About A Hanging Curtain By The Window Of A Hotel

inside the hotel i study the curtain
take a shot, put more light,
it is striking,
i remove the light, make it hazy
infuse more darkness
it too has many faces
imbued with a variety of emotions
that i have uncovered
from its hanging existence

the window has become restless
how it wish it were me
experimenting on life
wanting to extort what is there that has remained hidden
in fabric, in the space of lighted exhaustion

i remember you talking to a tree
i laugh
it is true, the link is there
i have never really minded it
until i get here

in the middle of this crowded city
where heat is high
where indifference is normal

Don't

There was a time long ago
But it seemed like yesterday
When all I wanted was you
And now you make a segway
As you turn your face away
And I know your words aren't true
And I don't want your lies
And I don't think that I'm better than you inside
And you can take off your disguise
Cause I can see the truth that's hidden
Behind your eyes

And all those words that you don't say just mean less and less each day
You can't make me shed a tear
I think about tomorrow
Another day of sorrow
But I don't think that I'll be here
And I don't want your lies
And I don't think that I'm better than you inside
And you can take off your disguise
Cause I can see the truth that's hidden
Behind your eyes

Starbuck's Coffee Company Poem = Coffee

Around 1615 coffee came to Western Europe
Raising a huge controversy and warning cry.
Some said it was intoxicating and poisonous
And any whom consume it will die.

No one knows how coffee was discovered
Though it is said its effects were known before A.D.575.
Persian armies carried and ate its seeds for strength
Which in battle could decide who would perish or survive.

Arabs where the first to brew its bitter seeds into a drink
In a attempt to make it taste better and easier to consume.
Soon the new beverage spread to Turkey and Europe
As the world became addicted to the harvest of it's bloom.

Thank God for caffeine found in coffee
Which helps multitudes make it through the day.
Like ancestors of the past it helps energy to last
And for it's stimulant we are eager to pay.

Is Austerity Possible

Liquids: are alcohol and gasoline
The friends of man, food for thought?
I have bumbled through many thorny nights,
Heavily drinking ethanol,
And many a stormy day with beer in hand;
And I pumped gallons of gas
Into strangers' tanks as well as my own,
To travel to far-off deserts,
Where drinking alcohol like am idiot,
I tore up off-road tracks in the land that I love. It was foolhardy.
They call it democracy.
But, rather, I would fain substitute
Powders-psych meds I need to take,
Combined with recreational pharmaceuticals,
In which powder,
Condensed into pills,
Or encapsulated into capsules,
Tear up the brain I love,
Are not a friend of mine,
But open up a spacious nature
Superior to liquids and gases.

Strength In Leadership

Strength in leadership,
And commitment to rhetoric...
As the dollar value slips.
Leaving harder times to come and exist!
Has nothing to do with who has image.
That ego massaged has caused this rift!
Creating an estrangement of realities.

People have had it and are getting sick.
Hidden corruption and blatant greed...
Has only delivered a few this bliss.
And those who have been against this ssshhh...

'It...
Does not make a difference.
Sacrifices influenced and made,
Today has taken savings of money away.
Strength in leadership has camouflaged to hide...
A catastrophe that avalanches to bleed an economy dry!
And a lack of confidence,
No matter who now lies to convince this mindlessness.

Even if wished...
We can not rid ourselves of none of these conflicts!
Why?
'WHY? '
Some ask as if to be answered.
As if a strength in leadership...
Will cure their ailments and other illnesses quick.
When they who raised these questions...
Praising those crazed.
Welcomed all it!
And ignored nonconformists who resisted,
The actions of these defective movements.

Sleep

Do you give yourself to me utterly,

Body and no-body, flesh and no-flesh

Not as a fugitive, blindly or bitterly,

But as a child might, with no other wish?

Yes, utterly.

Then I shall bear you down my estuary,

Carry you and ferry you to burial mysteriously,

Take you and receive you,

Consume you, engulf you,

In the huge cave, my belly, lave you

With huger waves continually.

And you shall cling and clamber there

And slumber there, in that dumb chamber,

Beat with my blood's beat, hear my heart move

Blindly in bones that ride above you,

Delve in my flesh, dissolved and bedded,

Through viewless valves embodied so –

Till daylight, the expulsion and awakening,

The riving and the driving forth,

Life with remorseless forceps beckoning –

Pangs and betrayal of harsh birth.
